I thought for a long time before making an assessment. The hotel itself is very pleasant, new, good swimming pool, sauna, gym, close to the sea, its own beach with umbrellas and sun loungers, good food. But the service, the linen was changed on the penultimate day out of 12, the towels were changed only when asked at the reception and then not immediately, but after a day or two. It is also unclear on what principle they brought the paper, we bought it ourselves. In general, I liked everything except the service itself. We're not picky, we've been through it.

The hotel is declared by the tour operator "Alean" as a 4*. But in fact, the hotel does not even provide basic services: it does not give away the paid breakfast at early check-out. Although even in 3* there is no problem with this.
And early departure is due to the Alean tour operator, which, in order to save money, takes everyone to the airport by one transfer: some 5 hours before departure, some 7, and some 10 hours before departure.

A very nice hotel. The buffet is varied. The range of dishes is huge. The rooms are clean and cozy. There is nothing in the hotels except the buffet, no animation. No entertainment. It is located in a quiet village. That's why it's expensive.

Convenient location and beautiful territory. The pool and sauna are available for a fee. Food:there is a choice of dishes, but it is not tasty and monotonous. I'm vacationing with two granddaughters, 5 and 7 years old. The children were not allowed to take fruit out of the restaurant at lunch. It's a shock to me.

We rested from 17.09.21 to 25.09.21.Well, what can I say, the hotel itself is excellent, new and beautiful in the village of Alakhadzy stands out for its modern look.The room was given on the 3rd floor of the main building with a side sea view, the room is equipped with everything you need for relaxation: 4 towels per person, a bathrobe (although without a belt))) toiletries (I do not know how often they replenish, we used our own funds), a kettle, a tea set (cups, spoons, etc.), there is also a refrigerator in the room.The food is quite decent.Leisure (this is the main disadvantage) is missing! If you are not lucky with the weather, you will miss it! There are no places for entertainment in the vicinity, you need to go to Gagry or Pitsunda. From the hotel there is a shuttle to Gagry daily 200 rubles per person (schedule at the reception). Walking around the neighborhood, we met free-moving pigs and this is the norm! Get ready to share the beach with cows and stray dogs.

The room was a suite, normal for these places. The food is monotonous, for breakfast, lunch and dinner almost everything is the same, there is no difference when it came. The choice is small. There is a pharmacy next to the hotel, a little further there is a shop, water, cigarettes, well, there are no problems with small things. I'm sorry that everything is in one pile, I'm trying to summarize all the nuances. To the location, the distance from the highway is 4km. Without their own transport, they are cut off from the rest of Abkhazia, there are minibuses. We rested out of season, there were almost no minibuses. Taxi to Gagra 700 minimum. There are also features of climatic conditions. The village is far from the mountains, on seven winds. Somewhere on October 11, everything was removed from the beach. Nice hotel, friendly girls at the reception, the sea is nearby. The village itself is of course boring and dirty. It's a long way to the highway. A bus to Gagra, Pitsunda and New Athos stops near the store. The schedule is on the store. The hotel has an open roof with chairs. You can watch the sunset. Sun beds and umbrellas are free of charge. The sauna was not working. There is a gym. Animators work well, but it depends on which ones you get into. The food is normal, of course, by the end of the rest I got a little tired, but no one was hungry. Good baking. Everything is on the level.

Oooh, my pet! For 5 or 6 years, since the opening, we have been riding there from year to year. Everything was on top! Especially the beach, which is just a step away from the hotel. Clean, clear water, cleaner than the sea I have never met! A couple of years ago, the owners changed, the food became worse! And in 2021, I don't know for what reason, all the residents of this village, including this hotel, just threw up and shit themselves! They sinned against tap water, but they didn't drink it. In the hotel, someone vomited between the 2nd and 3rd Floor on the stairs, 2 times only I came up and asked to be cleaned, besides me they also asked, but the reaction was strange, maybe the lot was pulled, who would clean up the vomit! In short, the stairs were washed after 20-30 minutes! In general, the negative remained, I do not know what desire there will be in the summer, but so far it has disappeared to go there again! And in general, of course, the previous years left amazing indelible impressions!

We were here in the summer of 2021. The hotel needs a good professional manager. There is a lack of qualification of the staff. They try, but they are not trained in the hotel business. Especially the waiters. For example: we were cursed by the cleaner on the way to the canteen, because we walked down the corridor where she washed the floors. And this is the only corridor to the hotel restaurant :) draw conclusions.
The beach is private, clean, pebbles. There are hotel bars near the beach. But to get to the beach, you need to cross the road, and sometimes horsemen rush there. There are not enough hookahs in the bar. There is not much to do outside the hotel . It's the best thing for a seal vacation. If you do not expect anything from the service in Abkhazia, then it will go with a beer :)

The last day of departure spoiled my opinion of the hotel. Everything seems to be fine, and the service, and the cleaning, and the food. The sea is nearby, the water in the pool is warm. Upon departure, it turned out that neither lunch nor dinner were allowed anymore. Although the day is paid for. The plane is late at night. I have to go to their bar and have lunch at draconian prices. They don't let you take anything out of the restaurant either, you can't even take fruit to the children. We were (if my memory serves me right) in 2018 - everything is very much for Abkhazia. The rooms are excellent, there are two buildings - the main one (where the dining room, accommodation service, swimming pool and recreation area), there is more noise, traffic, and the second one is located nearby, but there are only rooms and parking, but quieter for living. The food is very good, three meals a day. The food is all cooked at home, no semi-finished products. The beach is nearby.

Today is June 9th, 2022. We arrived with children (5 and 8 years old) at this hotel for the first time. They settled us right away, even though they arrived at 12. The girls at the reception are friendly. The room is spacious and clean. If there are not enough towels or bathrobes with slippers, you just need to ask the maid. Everything is cleaned, if something is missing, just ask. The sea is a little cold, but the eldest swims with pleasure! The younger one prefers to swim in the on-site pool. It's heated. There are no piles of stray dogs on the beach. A couple run around and if you don't pay attention to them, they leave. Cows don't herd there either, as described. The food is very tasty and varied. Four types of side dish, 3-4 types of meat and fish. There are always vegetables, both fresh and stewed. There are two types of soup. Sweets. All staff are friendly and helpful. We really like it! Have a good rest! I recommend it!

We had a rest at the end of August 2022 with my wife and a small child. We arrived at the hotel at night, at the beginning of 4 a.m. A sleepy girl did not immediately meet us at the reception, we were immediately checked into room 324 with a view of the pool and the sea. There are 2 conduits on the balcony, one for the room, the other for the corridor, which is constantly working, there is a lot of noise from it, keep in mind. At least 2 bottles of drinking water were required upon check-in, it was not in the room. At the reception at night they said that they could not help in any way, and there was no way to sell and they did not have it available. In fact, they just forgot to leave the water, which upset us, due to the fact that we were with a small child after a long journey. The bathroom was poorly cleaned, but after we said that we needed to fix everything, we quickly corrected ourselves, the maid came and cleaned everything. A strong unpleasant sewer smell was periodically coming from the bathtub. There were a lot of vacationers at the hotel, because of this, the Wi-Fi in the room worked normally only at night, during the day the Wi-Fi was available only at the reception and then intermittently. In fact, there is no declared Wi-Fi. Nutrition: there is no variety, the food is mostly cold and monotonous, the dishes are not signed, the coffee machine started working by the end of the rest, where a huge queue was forming. The staff is mostly sleepy, somewhat frozen, and goes towards them without hunting. The sea is gorgeous, I left the hotel and immediately the sea. Be sure to bring coral slippers with you. Its own beach is well equipped, there is a toilet, showers, a bar, sun beds and umbrellas. There is no restaurant on site, which was somewhat frustrating. Prices of services, food and drinks at the St. Petersburg-Moscow level. In general, there is nothing else to do in the village of Alakhadzy except the sea and the beach. At the end of the vacation, my wife picked up an intestinal infection, as it turned out, there are a lot of them in the hotel, this indicates that the epidnorms are not being observed. The hotel is certainly not 4 stars. Maximum 3. I think we will not return to this hotel anymore. To Abkhazia, of course, yes, only for the sake of nature and the sea.

We stayed at this hotel from July 28 to August 8, 2022 and, after seeing the negative reviews, we were very surprised: it felt like we were reading reviews about a completely different hotel. We liked the rest at the hotel, except for minor flaws that did not interfere with the rest.
The room was on the 6th floor with a beautiful view of the sea (624). They settled right away. The room was equipped with everything necessary for relaxation, including slippers, bathrobes, a safe and a tea set. The furniture in the room is new. Cleaning was carried out daily, towels and bed linen were changed every three days, which is immediately warned upon check-in. Bottled water and toiletries are replenished daily.
The stated meals at the hotel are full board (3 meals a day), which is indicated on the website of the hotel and tour operators. There is no question of any All Inclusive, as some write. The food is not particularly refined and varied (the food is all cold, except for the first courses), but, nevertheless, you can always find something for yourself.
The hotel has its own beach with plenty of sun beds, but there may not be places under umbrellas after 9 a.m. Many vacationers take out sun beds right to the water's edge. The beach is wide and clean. There have never been cows on the beach of the hotel. I would also like to note a very clean beach toilet, which is rare.
During the entire vacation period, the entire hotel staff was polite and competent. I would like to mention the entire restaurant team. Dishes were taken out from the tables instantly, there was no shortage of free tables, dishes and appliances despite the peak season.
The reception has its own tour desk with a very pleasant employee Natalia and affordable prices for a variety of sightseeing programs.
Not without drawbacks:
- very weak Internet in the rooms, more or less works only in the lobby.
- in some rooms, the external unit of the staircase air conditioner is installed on the balcony of the room and is constantly working.
- rotavirus is rampant all along the coast, but some people mistake it for food poisoning at the hotel.

We are currently vacationing at this hotel. I give 1 star only for the boorish attitude of the cerberus in the restaurant. Some 18-year-old girls are standing at the entrance and have the right to indicate how many desserts a child can eat, who was sick in the room and could not go to breakfast. The hotel is about an hour and a half drive from the border. We had a vacation in May 2022. If you want a quiet family vacation, then this is the place for you. There is not a single attraction to the hotel itself, everything is at a high level, the service is great, the food is great, although the dishes are always repeated, but there is often something new. There are always 2 types of wine for lunch, white and red . There is a slight disadvantage in the fact that for some reason there are no mattresses on the sun loungers, but this is a purely subjective opinion. The pool is quite large and warm. There is no separate pool for children, so if you want to relax in the sun on the territory of the hotel by the pool, then you will have to put up with the screams of children. There is a desert near the hotel, there is nothing of entertainment, only all kinds of shops and grocery stores. To Gagra, a taxi from the hotel costs 1000 rubles, from Gagra you can arrange for 700. You can also use public transport, but you need to walk very far to the main highway. The rooms are comfortable and nice. Rooms are cleaned every day, all towels and bed linen are changed on time. Drinking water is supplied to the room every day, and the entire hotel staff is polite and friendly. In general, a chic hotel if you are not interested in entertainment , but prefer a quiet break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

In the pharmacy, the prices for the corresponding medicines are three times more expensive than in Russia. We had a two-room suite with a view of the roofs of the utility room and the neighboring hotel, located about 15-20 meters from ours. Wi-Fi is practically non-existent. I was there in September 2022.
The hotel was good before (when the owner was Armenian!)
Now the rooms are not cleaned until you ask! Toilet paper, slippers, freshener, liquid soap, towels.... If you ask for it!! They clean up that there is no cleaning visible.
Meal. It's okay, you can't do it with hunger. But not diverse!! Pasta, buckwheat, rice, potatoes, cutlets and sausages for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fruits are laid out differently, but our hungry people sort everything out at such a speed that we only saw apples and bananas!! They give wine for lunch, it's not possible to drink! Good juice and compotes!
BUT I REALLY LIKED THE ADMINISTRATOR OF EKA🤗 a very good person, kind and responsive 👍
The sea is 2 m from the hotel. A lot of stray dogs, barely alive😥
There are no large stores!! Baby food can't be bought! There is only one pharmacy.
A 4*hotel doesn't deserve 2** for sure!
