We moved into a room on the 3rd floor, the first building. Above the entrance. The TV did not work, they moved to another room on the 2nd floor (with difficulty), they somehow set up several channels there. The room has a musty smell. There is smoking at the entrance, smoke in the room. The pillows are pancakes, the mattress is bare springs. After resting on such a bed, my back hurt terribly. The request to give us additional pillows was refused. Dogs barking all night (the hotel has a pack of them). There was an apartment building nearby, there was a wedding. Cars with signals were driven for several days. Firewood was chopped at night, several bonfires were built under the windows and the brew was cooked in boilers for 4 days. All the smoke and smells in the room.
The lighting in the room is a small dim lamp on the ceiling. If you plan to read, you need a flashlight. Like in a cave.
The food is terrible, it's strange that someone writes good reviews. You can't eat it. Coffee in the morning - pele is the cheapest. On the third day, they stopped eating there. They bought water. There is no water in the hotel (only from the tap). A lot of people have caught rotovirus. Diarrhea and fever. We couldn't avoid it either.
I'm not going there anymore. The sanitation is complete! Next to the dining room, there are huge rats on the bridge over the river. Watch your step! And this is only a small part of the trouble.

I'm not going to this hotel! I thought I wasn't picky and I'd like the food, but there's nothing to eat except soups! Everything is cold, not tasty! There are no vegetables except carrots and cabbage! There is no fruit! There is no baking! And the caviar that is given as a dessert is tin! I would beat off the cook's hands for such a kitchen! Compote is water with a drop of syrup! Porridge on the water! The children were spitting. You can eat cottage cheese , casserole , chicken . If you are completely hungry, then hedgehogs and cutlets, but they are sometimes! Forget about fried potatoes and eggs! There are only boiled ones, you can see that you are too lazy to fry. The staff only stands and collects the dishes that you will bring them yourself. They work in the kitchen without a soul. The hotel- arrived they had no light and no hot water. Wi-Fi works intermittently. The pool is cold. They say it's on, but they lied, they turned it on after three days. They are heated to 23 degrees. When it's cold outside, you can only swim in it drunk. The room was cleaned once in 8 days! There are holes in the ceiling, although the new building is already torn. The view from the balconies to the pool and for some reason the car wash is adjacent to the hotel! And you're looking at her , too . The view is very spoiled! There is no place in the hotel where you can gather in bad weather. Only in the room! There is no faucet, only in the morning the cheapest instant. People are shocked by the service! A disgusting and boring hotel. Abkhazia is very beautiful! We probably have to wait a few years for the service to get better and it's better to go to the private sector and not to a hotel! If there is something decent in new Athos, I asked the locals, they say there is nothing yet. Lazy staff and greedy hotel owners! There's nothing to do there for now. We were in May 2022 for 8 days. We sunbathed for 2 days , the rest of the days it rained, went on excursions . They are amazing! Very beautiful nature and kind people! This saved the rest! There are good cafes and restaurants. The prices are normal . Breakfast - cappuccino coffee is good 140 r amlet from 100-300 r porridge is delicious 100 r so it's better to eat in a cafe. We turned a blind eye at the hotel to everything so as not to spoil our vacation and had a good rest, but I will not go to this hotel anymore! And everyone who was with us and talked to will not go either.

We rested there from 30.06 to 07.07. Two adults and four children of different ages. Everything was fine with everyone. The food was monotonous, but we did not go hungry. Everything is in the room, comfortable. There is a ironing machine with an iron on the floor. The elevator always worked. When checking in, there were no small towels (explained by the fact that they dry for a long time, but they dry in an abandoned building standing next to it). They brought a rug to the bathroom. There is a hair dryer, they put only three soaps. The pool is a huge plus for children. We did not notice the drain of the water from the sink, but the hum is notable. The bar has delicious coffee and ice cream.
We went to Lake Ritsa by bus for 20 people through a tour operator from the hotel. I really liked it. There are many attractions nearby. And the pishchery, and the waterfall and Stalin's cottage. The sea is nearby, maximum 10 minutes. There were always enough sunbeds especially for fun, and in the morning you have to run right from breakfast to have enough umbrella.

I came here for the first time and I will not come here again.
I was in the 1st building of the hotel.
Bed linen and towels were changed for the 3rd day of stay, the remaining 8 days were not changed. And that "fresh" linen is already stained with some kind of stains.
Room cleaning, together with garbage removal and toilet paper replacement, is carried out at best every other day.
Apparently, the workload of the hotel is the problem of visitors, not the hotel staff.
Apparently no one knows about the greasy and dirty faucet on the washbasin.
By the words "private beach" it is generally unclear what is meant, on the territory of which vacationers from many hotels, but fortunately there were enough places.
The food is also incomprehensible, for the military I will explain it this way - a little better than in the army. Fried fish for dinner, porridge in the morning. Once they "surprised" me with national dishes - I almost burped. Either everything is fresh, or over-salted or overdone.
And the coolest thing is wi-fi, which does not work from the word at all. If someone has to solve work issues, it's not your option, the Internet is poor.
You don't need a TV in the room unless you knowingly burn flash drives and other media with movies, cartoons and TV series.
Bottom line: this institution cannot be called a HOTEL. It looks more like a boarding house. And do not eat pizza, which is made on site, I decided to try it at the end of my vacation, as a result, I spent the whole way in the toilet of the train, train stations, airport and airplane.

The springs of the mattresses did not allow normal sleep, it is not possible to sleep in extra places and on extra mattresses, in principle, even for children! 1 building on the park with a good view, but on the mountain, I will attach a photo. It's noisy, because everyone is drifting, the road is nearby and the disco can be heard until about 14 o'clock. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the beach, on the road, there is not a sidewalk everywhere. Sharp depth and large pebbles are not comfortable with children. There is no water cooler. Wonderful hostels and receptionists!!!! I liked the breakfasts, the rest is not very good, plates and cups with broken edges, no teaspoons, everything is in the way of one of the sugar bowls. Next to it is a good field for jogging and playing football. An insane number of dogs.I apply the shore after the storm and the view from the window from the 1st building, between 1 and 2 there is an apartment building with ordinary residents, the pool is located near the car wash.

The location is very convenient. The rooms are too small. Lunch, breakfast and dinner are available. You won't starve, but it's boring. Sausages for breakfast, it's better to remove them altogether. They're terrible. For dinner, a salad with raw zucchini, not everyone will come in. Add vegetables at least. And so, considering the cost of living, it is tolerable. There are a lot of great cafes around, we had a good time there. Although we left for a couple of days and, having arrived with interest, we went back to the hotel to eat)
The sound insulation seems to be normal, or we were just lucky with the neighbors. Large balconies. Everything you need is there, a kettle, glasses, there is a Playground. There is a large parking lot, there is actually no swimming pool in a normal form, but this is the case throughout the Russian and post-Russian space. During my stay, I rented a couple more hotels in New Athos, in principle, the Rodina hotel is not as bad as it might seem at first glance.
Everything here is not luxurious at all, but very mentally.

The hotel is terrible!!! I was in Abkhazia for the first time and this hotel and the service in it left a terrible impression!!! We had a rest in four - three adults and a child, booked a two-room room, it's just tiny, the child slept near the bathroom door and got hit on the head by the door, there was no balcony, there was no curtain in the bathroom (bathroom combined), so the toilet was always wet, the pillows stank of dirty socks, the floors were terrible moldy (I I didn't sleep at all)!!! They reacted negatively to our requests to fix something, as a result, they replaced one mattress and that's it!!!! During the 8 days of arrival, towels were changed once and the toilet was washed🥴 I don't say anything about food at all🤢We ate at the hotel, it is not possible to eat food for pigs, we were given hearts and incomprehensible insides of chickens in terrible gravy, soup only from carrots and wings, compote was given once a day, coffee 3in1 in a package!!!!! The staff is not friendly, either in the hotel or in the dining room!!! We gave 150 thousand for this terrible hotel with a "boarding house" and also spent a lot of money on food!! Photos on the website and in the sky and earth, everything is dirty and spoiled, it feels like the photos were taken from the website of another hotel!!!! The last straw was the refusal of tea before departure, they said breakfast at 8:30, wait ((((((((Transfer with us at 8:00!!Guys, I do not recommend the hotel at all, feel sorry for yourself and save your money!!!

We rested in our Homeland from 08/29/2021 to 09/11/2021. I want to note the very positive and friendly attitude of the hotel staff towards vacationers. All issues were resolved promptly, and the friendliness and willingness to help were always at a good level. I would especially like to mention Apsuana, a charming, well-mannered girl who shone at us with great attention and a beautiful smile all the time we stayed at the hotel. Just because of her, you can come again. The transfer driver Said also created a great location and pleasant feelings. He met us in Sochi and comfortably, in a very friendly atmosphere, took us to the place. We were so glad when he took us home on the way back. Due to the long queue at the border, realizing that we might not make it to the plane, he did an acrobatic somersault (I won't tell you a secret)and we literally flew over the border on the wings of Russian-Abkhazian friendship. He told us, at 16.00, we will be at the airport. After the Russian border, we got into traffic again due to an accident and were so nervous that we would be late that the windows in the car were shaking. Our Said "flooded" and what was our amazement when exactly at 16.00, second by second, he stood rooted to the spot at the airport. It was aerobatics. I'll start with the first one, we arrived at the airport at 18.00, we received our luggage, we go out, the Alliance Tour transfer greets us, we are told we are waiting for another family to arrive -an hour, it turned out to be 2 hours, along the way the driver took a resident of Abkhazia and brought her home along the way, we arrived at the hotel at 23.00, since there is still a plus border, we did not leave dinner on arrival, at that time everything was closed, my child of 6 years old and I went to bed hungry!!!! At the reception, if you can call it that, a nook, 6 sq.m., the boy did not say anything, clearly gave us the key, showed us where the room is and that's it!!! There was no water in the refrigerator, as shown on the website, everything that is written on the website is completely zero!!! I speak for the first building. And so our torments began, not rest, the food is terrible (everything is monotonously not tasty, but they carry bags back, and instead of compote, they give jupi diluted with water, this is what I myself and my neighbor Tatiana, a math teacher saw) except for breakfast, people try to come on time, but if you are delayed, for what reasons You won't get it, and I'm not reporting it, but they can also send it!!! The pool was opened on the 5th day of our arrival, before that it was completed, moms be careful there are very sharp corners in this pool!!! Next, a young girl sits at the reception of the first building, who does not even know how to communicate with vacationers, be rude, homey, does not do what she should, it feels like everyone owes her! There is a refrigerator in the room, but it does not work, there is a TV in the room, but it does not work, cleaning occurs when you make comments, on the 7th day of arrival, a puddle formed in the middle of the room on the carpet, the administrator and her assistant said that we did it, but the puddle did not dry out, and it got even bigger, I won't tell you guys the smell, the toilet, we lived in the toilet for three days, and the administration was purple until I called the tour, the agency we went through, I'll send a photo, my husband came up with a design, although it would be so that there was no smell, then, imagine, the heat outside, the receptionist came up with the idea to put a heater so that the puddle dries, haha, and it gets even bigger!!! Let's call a spade a spade right away - this is not a hotel, but a hole! The price-quality ratio is from the series "we broke through the bottom, but knocked on the bottom."
Four of us had a rest (2 married couples), booked 2 rooms. They settled us in the second building. Upon arrival, it turned out that the price does not include Parking (100 rubles. not much per day, of course, but it's already unpleasant).
They gave out keys (not cards or bracelets) from the rooms, referring to the fact that the cards do not work. The lock in one room worked fine, we couldn't get into the other room. They said to the complaint that they would call a carpenter, showed a magical way to open this miracle door (get used to pulling the key out of the lock a little, it's easy to turn a little and maybe the door will open) and scored on this problem (like all the others).
The door to the balcony also opened in a way unknown to mankind "as it turns out"))! According to tradition, our request was answered that a master would be called, but we never saw him.
The room itself is very dark: there is only one lamp in the chandelier, although it is designed for 3. Add to this dark (almost black) wallpaper and dark carpet. The carpet has been killed so much that it is already unpleasant to walk on it in shoes.
The bed is "tubby", the mattresses stink of leather, the pillows also smell dubious.
There is no noise insulation between the rooms as a phenomenon. You can talk freely with your neighbors without raising your voice. Or talk in whispers to hide
There is no TV in the room, except for the possibility of Internet access (thanks for that).
There is no drinking water in the hotel, an incomprehensible cloudy liquid is given in the dining room (keep in mind when traveling, it is better to take a certain supply with you based on the number of people and the level of consumption).
There is water in the shower (that's where the good news ends), but the hot one pours in waves: then a lot, then a little. Personally, I would burn the curtain in the bathroom: it is so slippery (slimy and smelly) that it is scary to touch it. Friends had it in their room and it was also short (perhaps this is a plus).
There is a swimming pool on the territory, even some person periodically cleaned it with juice. According to the rules of the hotel, you can only go to the pool in a bathrobe, which was given to us on the last day before departure. We asked for several days to be given bathrobes, but referred to some problems with the laundry (those who came after us somehow received these bathrobes). As a result, the pool was used once. And yes, it is heated!!!
The hotel has its own territory on the beach with sun beds, umbrellas (they are more often broken) and even a shower (hose with divider at the end).
While swimming, BE CAREFUL, there is a concrete slab in the sea along the hotel beach 5-6 meters from the shore, which can be very badly injured or hit. We tried to swim to the left of the hotel beach, even worse - broken concrete pillars, on which all our feet were scratched.
Stray dogs roam the hotel, be careful! (it's a pity that cows don't walk around the hotel, although they were seen walking across the street at night)
He left the dining room for dessert - we have never seen such a buffet before. They won't let you starve, but they won't let you eat, either. Local fruits and vegetables have never been heard of here and are not aware of their existence. The menu is meager: during the 4 days of our stay, it practically did not change (the same thing every day). Don't expect any special dishes, all the food is based on chicken (chicken broth, chicken hearts, chicken liver, boiled chicken wings, boiled eggs, omelet).
In general, the hotel left only negative memories, there is nothing good to remember. Abkhazia itself is also such a pleasure (there are ruins around, the main highway is good, the rest of the roads are killed, cows in the middle of the road, the lack of any infrastructure, the attitude of locals to tourists like a purse with money and no more, lack of medical care, etc.), except for nature, which was abandoned and not touched.

There are no instructions on how to turn on the TV, we are all exhausted, although I do not consider myself and my husband retarded. Thanks for the help of people vacationing, who have already received inclusion lessons...There was an electric kettle, but there was no water cooler. Porridge, cottage cheese and croutons are delicious in the morning, tea, coffee, milk is cold and warm. For lunch, a salad and two soups, two meat dishes and two side dishes. For dinner, a salad and a couple of hot ones. But we didn't have time to really eat all this, all three of us were knocked down by rotavirus for a week. Because of the sea or because of the pool, it is no longer clear. Swim very carefully in reservoirs, close your mouth, do not drink water from under the taps. The vacation is irrevocably ruined. The hotel itself says it's rotavirus in the sea. But the water in the pools is cloudy, especially in the "royal". The "violin" is cleaner and shallower, ideal for children who cannot swim. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a pity that the elevator in building 2 is constantly breaking down.

We rested in this horror, with a company of 10 people. Five people are in the first building, and the rest are in the second.. The rooms are very small, but everything you need is clean..One of the advantages is a heated swimming pool. The power supply in the first building is very different from the second.. The worst hotel I've ever been to! The rooms are small, as soon as you enter the 1st building it already stinks of dampness! The wallpaper was torn out in our room, after we complained that at least something had been done, since in one of the rooms right where the baby's bed was torn out the largest piece - glued onto a new piece, completely different wallpaper! There were 2 TVs in the two-room room, but there was only one and it didn't work all days! The light in one of the rooms broke, after contacting the administrator on duty, they said - Well, you didn't come to Turkey, walk more, why do you need light?! We gave out 4 shower gels only on the first day and all for 4 people! After they asked for more, we were told not to, it's for all days!!! BUT, the worst thing about this hotel is the food! It's just a horror! There is no choice at all! We stood in line while frying pancakes in a frying pan, really it was impossible to cook right away, knowing how many guests you have! The first dishes (these are 2 choices) are peppery! It is not possible for children to eat! Not only did they pay for the buffet, but they ate in the cafe opposite!
