Honest 4 stars. One of the advantages is the beautiful territory, friendly staff, cleaned the room every day or every other day. Clean bathrobes, linen, spacious room. On the downside, the neighbors can be heard very well, but it didn't bother us, we only slept there. The room was on the ground floor with a view of the backyard, where the stinky river flows) Breakfasts and dinners were included, but we have never been there, so I won't say anything about the food. As active tourists, we liked it there. I'll be happy to come back.

If you want to spend your vacation well and comfortably, do not choose this hotel. In order:
- suitcases to the 4th floor (there is no elevator) No one will help you carry it
- the official website does not specify which rooms overlook the construction site and which ones overlook the park
- meals for 2 out of 10 - the food is monotonous, tasteless, there is no choice. The dishes in the common dining room are washed poorly - there are traces of lipstick / food on the "clean" dishes
- room cleaning is declared daily, in fact - the garbage was taken out and vacuumed once
- the room itself is small and uncomfortable: there is no closet / shelf for shoes, shower at the entrance in the hallway, mattresses are collapsed
- the water in the shower: if it gets hot, you are very lucky, in general it is difficult to swim
- access to the common dining room in beach clothes is prohibited, you can be deployed at the entrance, and people in the same clothes can be passed behind you (how it works is unclear)
- service: the girls at the reception do not perceive feedback, they will prove the opposite to you and poke at papers
The impression of the hotel is disgusting, we will definitely not return and will not advise anyone

We had a vacation with my wife from September 7 to September 17, 2023. Building 1. I will try to give an objective assessment of the hotel for the period of stay.
1. The location is very convenient. Almost all the sights are within a 10-15 minute walk. Caves, monastery, Stalin's cottage, waterfall, small markets, cafes - all within walking distance. The sea is 10 minutes away.
2. The contingent. At the time of the stay, the average age of vacationers is 50+. About 20 percent of young people (under 35 years old). The rest are aged people. Therefore, it is preferable to stay in a hotel for people who prefer a calm, quiet holiday.
3. Rooms. Small but cozy enough, there is a refrigerator, TV, air conditioning, double bed, wardrobe in the room. The toilet and shower are separate. The water was not turned off during the stay, as well as the light. There is a safe in the room, but the receptionist warned that it is undesirable to use it, because it may close and it will be problematic to open it. The sheets in the room were changed every five days, towels every three days, garbage was taken out daily.Toilet paper was replenished daily.
4. Nutrition. Breakfasts and dinners are quite normal. There will be no special delicacies, but the food is of the local type. Seafood and fruits are not worth counting on, but the rest of the food is quite tasty and nutritious. For those who want to eat lobsters, lobsters and pineapples, it is advisable to look for another hotel. An interesting observation: several times vacationers from the 2nd building tried to come to dinners and breakfasts in the dining room of the first building. Therefore, the food there is so-so. By the way, from conversations with the service staff (and women working in the service are very observant), an interesting fact was discovered: especially fastidious vacationers in the dining room prefer to brew "Doshirak" in the room, leaving a very specific smell in the room and crumbs on the floor. As they say: who likes what.In general, nutrition can be rated at 4+.
5. The pool is made in the form of a violin, about 10-12 meters long. The depth in the narrow part is -40 cm, in the wide part -1.5 meters. Not heated, but clean, The water is cool, refreshing, invigorating. There is a chlorine smell, but this is typical for all outdoor pools.
6. The territory. Small, but well maintained. Some of the park sofas are shabby, there are violations of the upholstery. In general, this is not essential, but it is desirable that it be fixed.
In general, the hotel deserves a 4++ rating.

We stayed at the hotel from 5 to 11 May. I honestly don't understand the positive feedback from people, especially about food. Where have you all been vacationing before?Abkhazia is certainly a beautiful place. But.....a hotel. I can't say anything bad about the staff. The rooms are of average freshness, in fact normal, except for the crowd of ants running around in our room. They were everywhere: on the floor, on the bed, on the bedside tables and eventually on things. The room was cleaned after 3 days and after a personal request, they really apologized. The pool was barely warm. And here is the dining room and the food.... Here is a separate conversation. The choice of food is very small. Some incomprehensible sandwiches and bland porridges. There is one soup to choose from for dinner. Who writes food like at home? How are you fed at home?))))))In the morning there is nothing to eat at all, just sausage and tea and cottage cheese. If you did not come to the opening of the dining room, then maybe you will stay hungry at all. They came 20 minutes later, there was no milk, the child was eating dry-boiled cereal. I don't want to go back.

I recommend good rooms. The only small toilet.
Room service is good.
The most important thing for me was the food in the dining room at the hotel, just a fire. Not once heartburn or etc. Simple but delicious, really delicious, almost like at home. I recommend.
The location of the hotel is very convenient in the middle of everything that can be seen in Athos. And at the exit there is a good dining room for lunch.

We were with my husband in June 2024.I read reviews about this wonderful hotel, but when we arrived, the construction site ruined everything.There is a global daily construction site on site from morning to evening.The noise is enormous.We were also settled with a view of this construction site, you can't go out on the balcony, and all the Uzbeks gather like monkeys and look at you.She asked to be relocated!the girls at the reception said only through the tour operator-this is also not a convenience.We decided through the tour operator and we were moved to the other side.There are a lot of rules in the hotel, you can't drink on the balcony, you can't smoke either.Although we are adequate adults and have come to rest.We still drank wine sometimes in the room.You cannot go to the neighboring pool in the 2nd building.The food is homemade without frills, but you can eat enough.The girls at the reception are doing their best, but sometimes they overdo it.Once we came to the room to smoke, whether we smoked on the balcony or not, we felt like children in a camp, how wild it is.The mattress was sagging, but they asked for it and immediately replaced it.The hotel is for 3 people in general, it would go for Abkhazia if it were not for this construction site from which you can get off the bag.The sea is close, there are many cafes and attractions.I liked the New Athos very much!

We were at this hotel on May 12-14, no one warned that concrete construction is underway on the territory, more precisely, the restoration of the abandoned building, which is from the 1st building at 10 m, From the 2nd building at 30 m. Heavy-duty and construction equipment has been working since 7 a.m., the noise from construction and concrete slotting, from cars is simply unimaginable. If you live in building 1, then the room should only have a view of the pool, since the room with a balcony overlooks the construction site described above, and from the balcony at a distance of 10 m there will be all this view. Building 2: the pool is adjacent to the same construction site, a little further to the building itself, but these 30 meters will save you from dust and noise. For an additional fee of 1500 and a 5-hour wait, we somehow asked for a room with a view of the river. This is an ideal option in this hotel: the sound of the river, birds, trees, a view of the monastery-a beautiful view. But in the dining room there will be noise and dust from the construction site all the time, in the pool too, we did not dare to swim there, take more wet wipes, there is nowhere to wash your hands in the dining room. It's not long to walk to the sea 10-15 minutes at a leisurely pace. The beach is dirty, maybe because it's May, and it's not the season yet 🤷🏼♀️
The staff of the 2nd building (unlike 1) is very attentive and understanding, apologized a hundred times for the inconvenience, told where to eat better in Athos, cleanliness in the rooms is at a height, but there are not enough hangers in the closet or at least hooks for clothes, a table would not hurt and a mirror. Caves, monastery, waterfall, Anakopian fortress – all within walking distance. Sukhumi is 30 minutes away by car, Gagra is 40 minutes away.

The audibility in the room is excellent, the neighbors seemed to live with us. The carpet in the room is stained and worn with age. Wi-Fi catches every other time. The pool is clean. Homemade food in the dining room:two porridges in the morning, soup, compote, tea, instant coffee, omelet. Reading the reviews, we wrote two types of salads, we never had one. A day later, a vinaigrette, cucumbers almost with tomatoes. There is no fruit, there is a biscuit from baking every day.Once there were delicious cabbage rolls. Milk with oatmeal from the children's menu. The beach is clean and calm. There is a technical area for cheesecakes and motorcycles. They won't swim on your head. You can get a massage. There are umbrellas with sun loungers, which can not always be snatched, because the administrator on the beach sells places for money to people who are not related to the hotel at all. Well, for dessert, this is a construction site that is noisy from morning to evening. As soon as she stops talking, hot horsemen wake up and drive cars all night, dogs bark. The balcony cannot be opened. The service is lame, when we left there was a downpour, we were called a taxi and told to go outside the hotel gate in the tropical rain. Go to the hall.t is not allowed. Although it is possible for "left" cars. We got soaked to the skin walking through puddles with suitcases. The prices for the rooms do not correspond to reality.

The pool is warm for the month of May. Your own beach area with free sun beds. The beach is 200-300 meters away. You can walk through a well-maintained park, a little longer. We had 2 meals a day, but there were no problems with lunch - small canteens, cafes, restaurants, shops and no queues. I twisted my leg and we went to a meeting on the day of departure, extended the stay until 18h before the departure of the transfer. Perhaps the best hotel in New Athos,
Considering the proximity to the sea and all the sights. Of all the decent hotels in Athos, perhaps one of the closest to the sea, which is an undoubted plus.
The hotel has its own beach with free sun beds and a paid bar on the beach. The beach is good (I'm attaching a photo).
The hotel itself is without any special frills, but everything is at a good level, we were in building 1-the room was decent, cleaned well, there were no bathrobes there. They say there are better repairs in the 2nd building and there are bathrobes (I don't know, it was quite good for us in the 1st)
The downside of building 1 is that some rooms will have a view from the room to an abandoned building where the hotel sheets are being dried, but it didn't bother me much)
The dining room on the street near the first building is convenient, well organized! The food is delicious. But there is practically no fruit.
There are 2 excellent swimming pools on site, there is a swing for children, a mini playground.
I liked the hotel, the only thing that can be added is a children's club and animation.
In general, considering the cost and level, I recommend it! Thank you, we liked it.
There is no elevator for the elderly, it may be a problem
And the plus is that the park is very close.

There is no elevator - fortunately we lived on the 2nd floor and it was uncritical. Nearby, the old campsite building is being dismantled - noise and dust from 8:00 and somewhere until 21:00. there is a 24/7 car wash behind the fence, which also does not make silence. Opposite there is a swimming pool in which children are splashing around the clock, screaming, and the mothers lying next to them are calling them back with obscenities. The administrator Max (as he introduced himself) does not care about this - he does not follow anything and does not answer for anything, he laughs with tipsy guests.
It is worth mentioning the number separately. The bathroom is combined and very cramped - a shower room, a toilet and a sink fit on a couple of square meters, and the door to it opens inward and in order to get to the toilet, you must first go into the shower. How to be overweight and/or elderly is a big question. Towels and bed linen have not been changed in 6 days, there is no table in the room, only one chair on the balcony. The walls are cardboard, you can hear not just "bububa", but direct conversations from neighboring rooms. There is a TV powered by WiFi, which is not available. He was there for the first 3 days, then a lot of people came and problems began - that is, then not, then only on the 1st floor.
The food also depends on the number of people - when we first arrived, there were cheesecakes and pancakes for breakfast. Then they began to spread just cottage cheese. There are almost no vegetables in the diet. Breakfast - boiled eggs, sliced sausage cheese, 2 porridges. Dinner is soup, second course with 2 side dishes and a biscuit for tea. All. We spent the whole day hiking, we only ate and spent the night at the hotel. How people sat here all day is a mystery.
Among the advantages - there is a dryer on the balcony and a hairdryer in the bathroom.

Pros: it's really not more than 10 minutes to walk slowly and not uphill close to the sea. The hotel itself is most likely renovated, quite clean inside. other reviews write about the dirty beach of the hotel - maybe I got there like that, but the beach is clean without sticks and other things. Convenient infrastructure nearby, many shops, within walking distance of the New Athos caves and monastery.
Cons: the food at the hotel is simply disgusting, if you still decide to go here, you can safely take it without it (during the vegetable season, during the week of your stay, neither tomatoes, cucumbers, nor anything at all were served, carrot and zucchini salad is not cool at all). There is a cafe on the territory, which in theory should complement the lack of lunches and dilute people's desire to eat something other than what is on the dining room menu, but not only is the menu meager, you can't even pay with a Card (we rested in the same Pitsunda a couple of years ago and there was a card payment without problems)- there are no questions about the quality of food in the Cafe. Everything is delicious.
The pool is about nothing, except for children to swim, the territory seems to be well-groomed, but absolutely empty, except for benches and plants there is nothing. Near the open dining room, there is almost always an unpleasant smell of sewage, it is not clear why. There is no view from the windows: an abandoned building and a high-rise building without repair.
I don't recommend it, I definitely won't come a second time.

Nice hotel. We lived at the end of April '23 in the 2nd building. The windows of the rooms opposite faced the Ptsyrtskha River. Clean, well-maintained room with a balcony and a view of the mountain on which the Anakopian fortress is located. The room has a hairdryer, refrigerator, kettle, minimum of dishes (glasses), TV, air conditioning. Take soap and soap accessories with you. We bought at the Magnit store in the center (about 300 meters from the hotel).
Towels are changed every day. There are bathrobes.
The dining room is located in a separate building. The kitchen is homemade, the food is delicious. Many people are interested in whether there is meat on the menu. Yes, I have. Not by-products, not soy cutlets.
Separately about the water. Do not drink from the tap or from sources! The water in Abkhazia is limestone, saturated with minerals. We watched how tourists take water from the springs by the river, in the eternal spring on the Iverskaya Mountain and drink without boiling. Then they complain of an upset stomach.

The hotel is located in the very center of New Athos, near the main attractions, 10 minutes walk to the sea. We were accommodated in the 2nd building. The room in this building seemed to me bigger and more comfortable than in the 1st building (mistakenly we were first settled in the 1st building).
The room was on the ground floor with a view of the fence and the river. Perhaps because of this, the room smelled of sewage. There were 2 chairs on the balcony, there was no table. But we did not ask him, because we did not plan to sit there in view of the above.
Room cleaning is considered to be taking out garbage and replenishing toilet paper. The towels were changed only after my request, the beds are not made, the surfaces are not wiped, vacuumed or washed during the entire time of your stay.
Towels and bathrobes are dilapidated (we had them with holes).
Food is one distribution line. The dishes are all chipped.
Breakfast: two types of porridge, sliced sausage and cheese (one type each), cottage cheese, after 1-2 days an omelet and sausages, on another day just boiled egg, fried bread, yeast tortillas, sometimes pasta with meat, once I saw cucumbers and tomatoes. Instant coffee powder, tea bags. There were also cornflakes.
The very bottom is milk diluted with hot water, poured into jugs.
Dinner: bread, soup, lettuce salad, 1-2 types of side dish (buckwheat, potatoes, rice), mostly stewed potatoes with pork or pork with gravy. Once there were meatballs and baked chicken legs. Baking every day.
In general, you can choose what to eat, we didn't stay hungry. I liked soups, porridges, delicious fresh bread, meatballs.
A huge disadvantage is that there are constantly not enough mugs at breakfast, so people stand in line for them. We must be ready for this, if possible, to come with our mugs.
In general, if you have a limited budget and there are no special requests in terms of comfort and food, you can go here.

The windows overlooked the pool. The pool is small, the water is warm, but I would like it to be cleaner. The sun beds by the pool are very "tired". There are tables with chairs. The service seemed a little rude, but not boorish, but rather without a smile and politeness)) The food is simple but delicious. You will definitely not stay hungry . The hotel has its own beach with sun beds and umbrellas. There is a great bar on the beach with very kind, professional bartenders! Thank them very much! The water in the sea is clear, but a river flows into the sea, and it is by no means clean ((( So we were immediately warned that it is easy to pick up a rotavirus infection here. Overall, the hotel is good, there are no complaints. For its cost, it is even excellent.

, a quiet, cozy hotel. Polite. friendly staff. The hotel is clean, the territory is well maintained. We were lucky with the room, the windows overlooked the monastery, so we enjoyed the silence for 2 weeks. Towels were changed 2 times during the whole time, but the bed linen was not changed at all. We lived on the 4th floor in room 418. The room has everything you need. The big disadvantage is that the lights were often turned off. The air conditioner was not working, the refrigerator was leaking. there was no Internet connection. That's the problem with the Internet in the room at all. It's either sooooo slow. or it doesn't exist at all. The hotel has parking, a swimming pool (we did not swim in it, so I can't say anything about its cleanliness) and a dining room. Meals with buffet elements. No frills, but delicious, homemade. At the height of summer, I would like more vegetables and fruits on the menu. Unfortunately, there were no fruits at all, and the vegetables were mainly Chinese cabbage with green peas.
The hotel has its own beach, it is a 10-minute leisurely walk away. There is an open cafe on the beach, and, of course, grandmothers go with smoked mussels, donuts and boiled corn. Prices for fruits and vegetables in New Athos are simply cosmic. Watermelons - 45 rubles per kg., melons -100 rubles per kg., peaches - 250 rubles. It's cheaper in Moscow!
Bottom line: despite everything, I liked the rest. We came for the silence, the warm sea, the impressions - we got it all.The hotel is cozy and very conveniently located. All attractions are within walking distance. The nature is magnificent! The Anakopian fortress and the monastery of Simon the Canonite are places of power in general! We can safely say that the rest was a success. Thanks to the Rodina Hotel for the hospitality!

We stayed at this hotel from 20.05 to 28.05 in the second building. Outwardly, of course, everything is pleasant and stylish, but I'll start with the room. The neighbors' audibility is unique, even a whisper. It feels like they even forgot to make drywall and just stretched the wallpaper on both sides. The toilet is combined with a shower. It's a common story, but to get to the toilet, you need to do a gymnastic exercise. The audibility of the water supply is just wildness, the noise of water through pipes, filling the toilet tank really infuriate, and the neighbors too.
About how they fed you. I didn't eat in charity canteens, but I also think about it. We took a breakfast and dinner tour. Boiled sausages, semolina rice porridge, oatmeal. The chicken was caught on the fifth day and those who did not have time for it ate fish. In short, it's creepy. In the first building, the assortment was better, we went and looked, even envied people.
The wine and chacha of local craftsmen, as well as their cuisine, smoothed out the negative from this institution, well, the sea and the sun in the first place. I sincerely urge you to think about whether to go to this hotel or look for a more reasonable option.

1. Food, reviews are just fake, there is absolutely nothing to eat, especially breakfast , the same thing every day. After the meal, the whole family got sick... it never happened
2. The rooms are small, the passages are tiny, but noise insulation is generally trash ... you can't turn around in the shower

We stayed at this hotel from 09.09.22 to 19.09.22. A wonderful hotel. Everything is clean and tidy. The hotel staff are kind, friendly and helpful people. The food assortment is small, but everything is cooked at home. The food is high-quality and delicious. The location of the hotel is very good, everything is close, both the sights and the beach. There are sun beds and umbrellas on the beach. There was no need to take up space in advance, there were always empty seats upon arrival. There is an Alliance Tour 2020 tour tent with manager Madeleine on site. A very nice, wonderful girl. All excursions were bought there. And the organization of the transfer from Adler and back was also organized by this travel agency. They are great fellows. Good, comfortable Mercedes and Toyota cars. They did not go to the mountains on UAZ trucks, as 99% of such excursions, but on two 8-seater Toyota SUVs. Soft, comfortable. So we were not afraid of the brutality of mountain roads. The guides there are also wonderful, kind guys. They work very punctually and responsibly. Many thanks to everyone on whom our vacation depended. And we were lucky with the weather too. There is a particularly warm atmosphere in New Athos.

- Cockroaches.
- The dining room is a separate topic for discussion. There is no distribution, there are no trays, you need to take a plate of food to the table and repeat it again. The food is bland, there are no vegetables, fruits, there is no variety, their favorite side dishes are pasta and buckwheat. Cutlery is often dirty.
- For some reason, the administration decided to teach the rules of decency to visitors, in this hotel, even if you look at it incorrectly, you may receive comments.
- The pool is stated to be heated , but no , the water temperature is uncomfortable for swimming . If you suddenly want to go to the toilet in the pool, then you need to go up to your room , since the hotel has not taken care of the comfort of the residents .
- If you come with a company, then be prepared for the fact that you will be told that you are taking other people to the room))
- There is no entertainment for children, except for 1 mini trampoline and a small slide.
- the rooms themselves are beautiful, but the towels and bathrobes are stained, absolutely everything can be heard in the room.

We are vacationing in this hotel for the first time. Building 2 .
The room is quite cozy , with a double bed , wardrobe , 2 bedside tables , TV.
Bathrobe on request . I got a torn one , but okay , I thought .
A pool with warm water . Swimming is allowed until 23 o'clock .
We only went for breakfast.
The porridge is edible in principle, everything else is so-so, I did not like the kitchen.
The menu was the same for a week.
One day we came in the evening there was no water , there were 25 grams on the street , well , okay . We went for a walk - we came later , there was water - before going to bed , we washed up .
On the day of departure , we woke up at 10 a.m. went to the shower , but there was no water 👎
I went down to the reception to find out what was the matter, to which I received an answer that there was no water throughout the city and this was an unplanned shutdown, I told them, let's call and find out, they said an hour and a half.
The time is 10 a.m. Check out at 12.
To which I said that we would not leave the room until we had washed, we were allowed until 13 o'clock. .
They don 't have any spare water , and in general , nothing is provided for such a case .
It's good that we are not tied to the transfer, but if we had to leave on time?! Then what?!

We stayed at the hotel from July 10 to July 21, 2023. We arrived in the evening, checked in quickly, and were late for dinner. But there is a cafe on the territory of the hotel, we ate there. The room is a double standard. There is a hairdryer, air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, shower and everything worked. The bed was changed once, towels twice, garbage was cleaned every day, but cleaning was never done (a big minus). You can't drink tap water, so you bought it in the store. We lived in building 1. A small cozy building with a beautiful green area. There is a small swimming pool with umbrellas and sun loungers. The territory is clean and well maintained. The breakfasts and dinners are certainly not great, but you will not stay hungry. Apples were given from fruits once. The sea is a 10-minute walk, the beach is pebbly and the entrance to the sea is also. There are enough sun beds, umbrellas are not enough. It is better to take cash with you. Some stores have terminals, but not all. There is a Savings Bank of Abkhazia, you can withdraw cash from any card, BUT the local Sberbank charges two percent and Sberbank of Russia charges one percent. The locals treat the guests well. New Athos is a very beautiful place, there are many attractions nearby. A beautiful park. Abkhazia is all green, the sea is clean. It's beautiful.

The boarding house is located in a very good location, all the sights are within walking distance, the nature around delights and pleases the eye. That's all...We rested in the 2nd building, the rooms are good, but some of the staff leaves much to be desired.. The maid was a kliptomaniac, after every cleaning in our room something was missing (starting from cosmetics, ending with clothes)by the way, during the whole vacation they never changed the towels, they had to wash them themselves. The staff (especially the "polite" manager did not react to our complaints in any way, constantly looking unhappy (like how you all fucked everyone up here).. For all this, we have never heard a banal "Sorry", only dissatisfied negotiations in the Abkhaz language (in front of us) and arrogant looks. The food in the dining room was monotonous, the menu was repeated every other day. Powdered milk, only soluble coffee (and according to the employee of the same canteen, the coffee is terrible)), we went with our coffee. On the territory of the boarding house there is a huge abandoned building in which cats and dogs breed, which cats and dogs breed (which bark at night and wander around the boarding house all day). There is a self-service car wash near the pool, where cars are washed all night, from this noise we had to sleep with the windows closed (since our windows looked directly at the pool)... In short, I can say for sure that I would not recommend coming to this boarding house at all... My advice to you, if you decide to come to New Athos (the nature is just super there), look for another boarding house or hotel, there are many worthy ones .... And I would sincerely advise the owner of the Rodina boarding house to change the manager and carefully select the staff (and teach them to talk politely to the guests) . I had a rest from July 18 to July 25, 2022. It's all good. The food is good, the rooms are clean and cozy, the staff is good. I went on 2 excursions to Sukhum, everything is also OK. Only the weather, rains, and thunderstorms let me down.I liked the food. Some people write in the reviews that it's terrible, and some are great. I tend to those people who liked the Food, it's pretty satisfying. For breakfast, cottage cheese, eggs, cheese sausage, pancakes, tea, coffee, etc. There are always 2 types of soup for lunch, buckwheat, rice, spaghetti, vegetable salad, compote. For dinner there is always a sweet cupcake with powdered sugar, as well as side dishes, salad, etc. In general, the hotel is good. I recommend it to everyone, only at the border they say autumn stands for a long time, some stand for 4-5 hours, I passed it in 1 hour. Enjoy your stay!!!🌞😊🌴

The hotel itself is new and clean. Swimming pool with mountain view. The rooms are nice, the bed and mattress are super. BUT THERE IS A BIG BUT. The FOOD is just good.. oh, the money is not small, the food is very bad. Breakfast is still possible, but dinner is something. They gave meatballs, the next day cutlets were made from these meatballs, when presented, the staff said that they were told to do so by the owners. And there have been such similar cases more than once. You can relax in this hotel if you don't care about the food. They have their own beach with sun beds. In my case, I will not go to this hotel anymore.

Thanks to the hotel staff with names) funny😁 the hotel administrators responded to any complaints that they had a 3-star hotel, and not higher, so their service is so disgusting) that's such responsiveness. 100% of the reviews are customized! Everything is not true, except for the description of the sights nearby! There was trouble with food, there was nothing to eat, I had to go to a cafe next to the hotel for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Lies about not letting strangers on the beach. We have never been checked.
The electronic keys to the room doors do not work. We were given one regular key.
In short, I do not recommend it again! I consider the choice of this hotel to be my mistake! Now, knowing the service of this hotel, I would never come here! There are more decent hotels in Abkhazia at reasonable prices! Maybe it's better to pay a little extra, but get a more decent rest.

We were in July 23rd in the second building in a double room. I liked everything.
The hotel is decent and modern. The videos and photos on the site correspond to reality.
Beautiful lobby and corridors of the hotel, everything is clean. There is a bar at the reception.
The room has two beds with high new mattresses, two bedside tables, a linen closet, a refrigerator, two hanging shelves, a TV, a kettle, air conditioning, thick curtains.
There is a clothes dryer on the balcony, two chairs.
The bathroom has a shower, mirror, hairdryer, 4 towels, gels, shampoos, bathrobes, clean. There is an ironing board and an iron on the floor.
The room was cleaned every other day, the garbage was taken out every day.
We had a view from the balcony to the courtyard of the hotel, to the pool in the form of a grand piano and to the mountains. Beauty. View from the courtyard to the mountain river.
The dining room is located in the courtyard of the hotel in a separate one-storey building. Breakfasts and dinners are simple, but delicious. For breakfast there are two cereals, cottage cheese, pancakes, two types of sandwiches, Sour cream, butter, condensed milk, tea, coffee, milk, muesli. For dinner, two soups, two types of second, fried sausages, cheese, salad. We were always full.
The pool was cleaned daily
It is 5-7 minutes walk to the private beach, close. According to the bracelet, they give you sun loungers and an umbrella if you have time. The beach is pebbly, it is better to take coral with you. There is a lobby bar with drinks.
The location of the hotel is convenient, 15-20 minutes to the caves, also to the waterfall, and 30 minutes to the New Athos Monastery. There is beauty everywhere!
There are many points of various catering in the city.
Of the cons, there is an abandoned campsite building and a car wash very close to the hotel, they spoil the view a little, but they did not bother us at all.

We rested in the Homeland of the 2nd building in May 2024. There is no information ANYWHERE that the hotel is NON-SMOKING! you will find out about this upon arrival that smoking is not allowed on the balcony, and there is NO smoking place equipped under the roof in the second building, i.e. when it rains, smoke outside and get wet in the rain!
The location of the hotel is very good, the beach and attractions are within walking distance, the food is no frills, but delicious at home, thanks to the chefs! The staff is friendly, they try, thank you all, especially Maxim! The rooms are VERY SMALL, especially the bathroom, the door opens less than half and rests against the toilet, it is very cramped and uncomfortable! There is nothing to sit on in the room except the bed, because the chairs are not cleaned, two chairs are on the balcony, but THERE is NO table. The windows of the room overlooked the river, it is not known what is drained into it, but it constantly smelled of a dump. There is an abandoned building between the first and second buildings, it is being dismantled, there is constant rumbling and dust!

We had a rest in June 2022. A wonderful hotel in the center of Mount Athos, a wonderful swimming pool, large and clean. As for the dining room, there are no questions at all, they cook perfectly, everything is dietary, delicious, you can adjust the serving volume yourself, you will never stay hungry. Complaints about the dining room come mainly from Muscovites who are used to relaxing in foreign luxury. We didn't have any reason to go to local cafes, we always felt full. The windows of the room faced the river with a view of the monastery, a gorgeous view, birds singing, beauty. It is very quiet in the evening, for this special thanks to the administration, which appreciates the personal comfort of all guests, not allowing the hotel to turn into a hangout. Everyone has a different concept of rest, so generally accepted norms of behavior must be observed. If you want to drink and dance, go to a cafe or restaurant, you will be welcome there (not for free of course))).
Of course, there are disadvantages:
- Numerous smokers on balconies and on the territory of the hotel (there is no escape from them), strangers are not obliged to inhale this stuff with you;
- There was a century-old spider web hanging in the corners of the room;
- The shower stall is designed for washing dwarfs;
- Due to a misunderstanding, the spouse left her purse in the room, during our absence, the maid brought bathrobes and unfortunately checked the contents of her wife's purse, took not much 1000 rubles, but of course it was very unpleasant.
- The beach of the hotel is visited not only by hotel guests, but also by various marginal third-party personalities.
- The behavior of some guests also leaves much to be desired, (even being far away and for a long time from the pool or beach, we continue to leave our towels on the sun beds, so to speak, "booking them" considering that the sunbed is owned by him).

There were free towels and bathrobes with the hotel logo in the shower. There were also shampoos for hair, there were no shower gels. There was a hairdryer, refrigerator, TV and air conditioning in the room. What we used was a refrigerator and sometimes an air conditioner. Blow-dry a couple of times. Everything was in good working order, the repair was quite fresh. As for food, we ate in the dining room, it was very close to our 2nd building. The food is monotonous, all these days we ate: pasta, buckwheat, rice... And all this in turn and so on for 8 days. Once there were potatoes and fried fish, like pollock. Vegetables were sold as a salad, more often it was cabbage and carrot salad. Cucumbers and tomatoes were rarely given, again, it's strange that summer is in the yard. The pastry was in the form of a filling pie, the dough was like cupcakes. It was all cut into pieces. But it was sometimes hard, sometimes not quite sweet. In general, it is also unsuccessful. Pork goulash and chicken leg trimmings on bones were served from meat. It was all possible to eat. But in 8 days we got so tired of it all, it's monotony that we've been going there for the last few days almost by force. More often they bought pizza, dried meat, smoked fish nearby in shops. The place is good, the hotel is more or less, but the food is not very good. The territory of the hotel is small, its whole attraction is an open-air swimming pool. But after bathing in it, the 9-year-old daughter became ill, vomiting began and the temperature was 38. In general, an intestinal infection. Well, they immediately began to solder with polysorb and enterofural. Everything passed in 2 days. In general, the conclusion is that I didn't like it there. I don't want to go there anymore. I love Abkhazia, nature is super beautiful all around, I also liked New Athos, but this particular hotel is not.
