A good option, you need to go to Abkhazia not for service, but for nature. A comfortable hotel, of which there are few. The only thing I didn't like was the constant queue for food, it reminded me of a school cafeteria. Don't expect delicacies and explosive dinners, but you won't stay hungry either. The hotel itself is clean, the staff is trying their best.

We are resting at the moment. Terrible nutrition. There is nothing to eat from the word at all. For lunch, buckwheat and pearl barley and cabbage salad. And so it is every day. There are no fruits, no pastries ... in general, not a buffet, but what they gave, then eat ... all the children go hungry.

We rested in May 2022, before signing the contract, we clarified about the pool, it will definitely be heated from May 1, the answer was YES, as a result, we arrived on May 1 for 6 days, and there was not a single day that the pool was heated.when asked to turn on the heating of the pool, they made an amazing face, and that it was cold. The hotel is just terrible!!!Nutrition for diabetics.Everyone is sent to bed from the hall at 23:00.The pool is dirty and stinks.Cats and dogs are stray on the territory.The rooms are small, setting up the water in the shower is a whole problem.Either boiling water or cold water.There are no water bottles in the room and there is not even a water cooler in the entire hotel.I don't recommend it to anyone, even for free!!!!

We visited the Rodina Hotel in July 2021. We arrived at the hotel late at night due to the fact that the hotel transfer arrived with a long delay. At registration, we wanted to buy a bottle of water, but we were told that it was impossible to do this at this time. Initially, our whole company was very positive, but visiting the dining room spoiled the impression. Very late breakfast, poor and not tasty food. Cottage cheese and sausages were of very low quality from non-natural raw materials, smoked cheese with a mildew smell, watery tasteless omelet. At lunch, the soup was of two types and not bad enough. The second course is almost always the same cutlets, but of different shapes and sizes, very salty and peppered. In the dining room, even the smell is not pleasant. There are almost no vegetables on the menu and there were no fruits at all. Tables are wiped with a dirty cloth, which is moistened with bleach "whiteness ". The rooms are covered with black wallpaper. The beds, mattresses and pillows are comfortable enough. We had bathrobes in our room, but our friends on the other floor didn't get any. Room cleaning consists of taking out the garbage. There is a clothes dryer on the balcony. Hotel linen is dried in an abandoned building, in terrible conditions. The result of our vacation is a severe intestinal infection in our entire company. Special thanks to the canteen manager. She was friendly and friendly, helped everyone as much as she could.

The Rodina Hotel! The hotel staff does not pamper you with attention, they do not care about you! The food is at the lowest level, I give you an example, there was pilaf and vermicelli soup! This is something, there is no chicken in the soup, but there is chicken with a vermicelli flavor in the pilaf)))) for breakfast, it's always either an omelet or boiled eggs, and finally we didn't bother at all to make an omelet out of egg powder))) the pool is a separate topic)) of the 9 days of our stay, it worked for 4 days, then it merged for 3 days, then it was recruited for 2 days, followed by our county and people at the reception were told that it would not work for another 2 days, i.e. do not count on it) The only great plus!! This is a cafe at Daura, you will not find a better cafe in New Athos!!! They will talk to you and feed you insanely delicious!!! And it is here that you will feel the Abkhazian hospitality!! He's definitely 5 ***** !! Thank you very much and the respect is boundless!!! Next, about excursions, everyone's choice, but I do not advise you to go to Akramara!! Because it is a very long trip from New Athos, then on UAZ off-road (cool, but not with a hangover)))) next is the way to the waterfalls, if it rains - ass!! The paths are narrow, slippery, you're afraid to fall!! But the waterfalls are certainly beautiful!! In Akarmar, the stop lasts 20 minutes (at least that was the case with us)! The locals are very friendly, they share their story, it's nice to have their attention!! But the trip took almost 10 hours, it's difficult! Especially do not go with children, they will definitely not be interested and they will get tired!! And so in general, Abkhazia is beautiful with both people and its nature, it's worth watching!!!!!!!! A great hotel for your money. We lived in the 2nd building. The rooms are good, the linen was changed every 3 days and on request. Towels every other day. Bathrobes were provided on request. The food is good, although not very diverse.
The hotel has its own piece of beach with umbrellas and sun loungers in plenty. The beach was quickly put in order even after the storm. Everything is clean and tidy.

We stayed at this hotel in January 2020. Overall, the hotel is not bad. Everything is new, the staff is polite and helpful. Good location. Of the cons: warm water does not always flow, you need to wait quite a long time for the boiler to heat it up. We were promised a heated pool, but the water in it was icy.

Food: diet number 5😂 Room cleaning is terrible. Cosmetics from previous guests were found under the bed. The signs are ignored, you need to ask for robes, so you won't steal them. The pool is super fun for children, there are enough sun beds for everyone. Everything is super on the beach, a great tent. New Athos 5+, Rodina 3 hotel is a stretch! ❤ Abkhazia!

We rested at the Rodina Hotel from May 12 to May 20, 2021. The ticket was bought a few days before departure for 29600 rubles. for 2 adults. Included in the price: flight, transfer to the hotel and back, accommodation, meals 3 times a day. We arrived at the hotel around 21h. The room was given immediately 220 in building 2 with a balcony (mountain view, mountain river just outside the hotel). When buying a ticket, an appeal was written asking to leave dinner, because we will arrive late in the evening (dinner 18:00-19:30). Upon arrival, we were told that there was no request for dinner, but after some altercation, they found our application and offered to write a complaint, but I refused. After 20 minutes, they brought us to the room with apologies just huge 2 servings of the second of 2 types for each, sausage, cheese, tea and coffee. Which made us very happy after a long journey (from 3h to 21h). Room: standard, small. The shower and bathroom are combined, small. Bathrobes, slippers, towels, bed linen (all new, clean). For 2 people, a completely normal room: 2 separate beds, 2 bedside tables, a wardrobe, a TV (did not work, although it was new, which is why after 2 days of stay they offered to move to room 212), air conditioning, a small refrigerator, a kettle. There are 2 chairs and a clothes dryer on the balcony. In room 212, everything is the same, on the same side of the building. The location of the hotel: everything is nearby, within walking distance. It takes 10 minutes to the sea, 5 minutes to the city park, 5 minutes to the waterfall, 15 minutes to the abandoned railway station, 25 minutes to the New Athos Monastery, 25 minutes to the New Athos caves, 15 minutes to the hot spring hospital (hydrogen sulfide and mud baths) by bus. Near the hotel (on the way to the beach) Magnet, Sberbank, pharmacy, shops, cafes. Meals: 3 meals a day according to the type of buffet, of course not Turkey, but quite normal. There were no poisonings. Beach: on the 15th of May, equipment (locker rooms and deck chairs) began to be installed. The sea is cold, but we swam for 3 days. There weren't many people willing. The territory of the hotel: small, the building has 2 dining rooms, a heated swimming pool (probably heated from the sun))). By the pool there are sun loungers, umbrellas, several tables. Building 1 has gazebos, a small park, and meals are served on the veranda. I really liked the hotel, I recommend it.

Well, what can I say. In Abkhazia for the 5th time. It was the first time I came across such a hotel. We arrived with our family, ate in the dining room at the hotel, the food is so good... The whole family was lying with intestines. The child came to his senses when it was time to leave. This is the first time we have encountered this... Rest is spoiled) problems with water, then there is no water at all, then cold water flows) instead of a refrigerator, there is a fan. It is impossible to store food. WiFi worked only on the balcony, the TV also every other time) garbage is taken out every day, the bed was changed once)It's close to the sea, which is a plus. I do not recommend it! for this money, you can find much more comfortable conditions)

I had a rest in this, so to speak, hotel in May of this year. He was advised by our tour operator, like there are only positive reviews about this hotel. We shouldn't have listened to her. Firstly, they put us in a room that was very cramped, to get to the toilet or shower, you have to go through the bed, in the truest sense of the word. (Although the photos showed completely different ones). Secondly, there is no hot water, it was turned on only in the evening and then for 2 hours. Thirdly, the room was not cleaned at all, towels and bed linen were not changed. I called the maid to get out, she doesn't know Russian, stands and blinks and mumbles. Fourth, the food was disgusting, we couldn't eat it, only had breakfast, lunch and dinner went to a cafe nearby. Fifth, there is cold water in the pool, without heating, to get there, you have to walk past an apartment building in a swimsuit and underpants and everyone is staring at you, and there is a car wash nearby, loud extraneous sounds are constantly heard. And sixth, the disgusting service and incompetence of the hotel staff. No matter what you ask, they don't know anything and can't help. They just walk around in a crowd and smoke all the time.

The hotel is under development, so there are some disadvantages, but overall it is a very good place to stay in New Athos. The most important advantage is the location. The hotel is located between the beach and the main attractions of if not the whole of Abkhazia, then New Athos for sure. The way to the beach is through a picturesque park with white, black swans and other waterfowl. In the park you can drink brewed coffee, which is not available at the hotel.
The rooms are quite comfortable for their price category. Not everything works and does not always work, but, for example, there is Internet in the lobby, by the outdoor pool and in the dining room, which is in a separate building. Cleaning is acceptable. There are no insects, which some complain about in Abkhazia, in the "Homeland". The food is ascetic, without fruits and delicacies, but the chefs cook "with soul".
There is no sea view, but the sea is a 7-minute leisurely walk away. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool with bleach and sun beds on the "shore". We haven't tried swimming in it, it's probably better not to do it. The rest on the territory of the hotel is greatly overshadowed by the nearby car wash, but it seems to be about to be eliminated (October 2020).
The staff is friendly, friendly, ready to help in solving minor problems. Through the reception of the hotel, you can arrange excursions around Abkhazia, in a ddfnm taxi, etc.

It's a terrible place!!! There is an old abandoned building and a car wash next to the hotel. There is almost nothing in the shops. The food is pure so that they don't die of hunger (and this is for 140,000 in 14 days Karl!!!) There's a crowd by the pool. To take a sunbed, you need to come at 7 a.m.… The sea is dirty, everyone is lying around with rotovirus... in general, Crimea is our guys! I'm not going to Abkhazia anymore! Very nice hotel, the rooms are equipped with air conditioning, kettle, refrigerator. The shower and toilet are separate. Rooms are cleaned every day and towels are changed. Rooms are one, two local. Not a bad hotel, the rooms are good, only the direct entrance to the shower from the hallway is confusing - Not to the bathroom, but directly to the shower. Because of this, there is nowhere to hang a towel and when you open the glass door of the shower, water drips from it onto the carpet in the hallway. Good audibility through ventilation in the toilet and shower. But at the same time, clean linen, replacement every 3 days, daily vacuuming. Well-functioning air conditioning and Wi-Fi. A small refrigerator and a TV with a standard set of channels. 3 meals a day-no frills, but we have never been hungry.
