Excellent location – within walking distance: Gagripsh restaurant* (a historical place with a unique atmosphere), Gagra Colonnade (the hallmark of the city), St. Peter's Church. Hypatia (an ancient architectural monument), Prince of Oldenburg Castle (a beautiful place for photos and excursions)
The heated pool provides comfortable bathing even in cool weather.
Beautiful green area – a well-kept courtyard with plants and places to relax.

We are currently staying at this hotel. He's wonderful. Beautiful territory with lots of trees, plants, there is a fountain, everything is very clean and well maintained. Cool pool, pretty warm water. Good breakfasts, a little monotonous, but everything is fresh and there is always enough, there is no crowd anywhere. Lunch is included in the price - we go to the teahouse, we eat according to the menu, very tasty.
The beach is not bad, but small, the sea is clean. There is a paid cafe on the beach.
In general, aesthetics and comfort are everywhere, you can take a lot of cool photos. There are also a lot of interesting things for children.
There is no animation as such, just leisurely Pilates and yoga classes.
The rooms are normal and clean. Somehow we never find fault with this.
The only thing is, there's a crack under the door, and you can hear everything from the hallway in the room.
There's nowhere much to go out. There's a seaside park nearby, kind of neglected. It's a little boring for young people.
Most of the vacationers are pensioners, families with children and maybe couples.
The Wi-Fi is good.
Overall, everything is very decent, so it's not cheap. ☺️

We had a vacation with two children for two years in a row, celebrated New Year and Christmas.
Location: In our opinion, the best place of the entire Black Sea coast as the hotel has a large territory and only the sea and mountains are in front of our eyes. Nothing superfluous
Weather: According to statistics, Gagra has almost 300 sunny days a year. Therefore, the sun greeted us and saw us off, on a sunny day the temperature can be up to 20 degrees, and after winter it causes very tremulous feelings every time.
Staff: polite, attentive, helpful
Rooms: we took an superior and a suite, both times with a view of the park, a view of a million). The room is always clean, fresh towels, there is everything you need. A baby cot is provided upon request. The hotel is quiet and very cozy.
Meals: in December and January, only the Tea House was open, but that was enough for us. There is room service
Entertainment: in addition to the gorgeous views, there are many options. What we used every day is the SPA. You can't think of a better implementation than a five. The pool wasn't working outside, but it was cold last year, so there's a lot to work on.
We come back because the picture and emotions have been with us all year and are not forgotten.
There were no problems with electricity, they switched to the generator in 5 seconds and the celebration continues. The attitude towards Russians has not changed, the locals are just as friendly and caring.
Wishes for the hotel: upgrade the gym, add a playground by the sea. Finish the embankment. Fishing rods and bicycles for rent)

We came to rest on the May holidays from 1 to 7 May. A very nice hotel, surrounded by greenery, with the sea on one side and mountains on the other, the hotel grounds are large and clean. Employees are constantly cleaning, cutting, washing, it is clear that they take great care of the territory. The three of us came, husband, wife, child and dog (we chose the hotel exactly so that we could have a pet), the room had access to the parking lot (it is located right on the territory of the hotel, which was also very pleasing), the room was large and cozy. In the evening, you go out and the Prince of Oldenburg castle is burning in the mountains, of course this view is fascinating! The water was cool in the outdoor pool, the temperature in the Mountains was 15-16 degrees, there was no swimming in the sea, and of course it would be possible to warm the pool more warmly. There is a spa with baths and a swimming pool, for an additional fee, we went to warm up once, we really liked everything. They took breakfast, normally, but monotonously, for seven days the same thing and yet, the room in which they pass is not enough for the number of guests, the tables are very close to each other, sometimes people came and waited for the table. There is also a restaurant at the hotels where they cook very tasty food. Overall, I really liked the hotel, will we come again? Definitely yes!

Great hotel. Closed territory. The on-site restaurant serves excellent cuisine. Its own beach with sun beds. There is a cafe near the beach where they make very good cocktails. It's great for fishermen, because the marina is only 200-300 meters away.
You can ask the grandmothers to roast the catch fish in the cafe across the street from the hotel, just behind the pedestrian crossing.

It was a great spa, but there was one big problem - the food. since we went out of season (at the end of April), the food was on the menu. the choice is so-so. breakfast was even more or less normal, but dinner was very sad. all the food for dinner is tomatoes with cucumbers and 4 pieces of shish kebab. I can't even imagine what we could feed the children if we took them in. one day, by some miracle, we got to the buffet for breakfast, then the food seemed like a fairy tale, but both it was opened and closed on the same day. and again we had dinner in a sad teahouse. if the food were better, I would give all 5 stars, but the food really spoils the impression of the hotel

I'm having a rest at the hotel, a fairy tale! The girls at the reception are very pleasant, attentive, they conducted us, congratulated us, lifted our spirits after a long trip, they respond to all requests instantly, the staff at the hotel is wonderful. This is not something you will find everywhere in Abkhazia. In the spa center, the receptionist Marina is a very pleasant woman, attentive to the guests, and the massage therapist Larisa made my day today, in her magical hands I was a woman of steel. The hotel is located in a fabulous place in the ancient fortress of Abaata, the park and the views are beautiful, birds of paradise are singing, everything is blooming and fragrant. I am so glad that I chose to spend my birthday here. Everything is clean, everyone smiles when they meet, what else is needed on a short vacation. The cuisine in the Teahouse is very tasty, I have never regretted eating here. I decided today that I will definitely come back here, Abaata has won my heart. Thanks for the rest!

We had a rest recently in Abbat, late April -early May.Standard room with a balcony building 4,side view of the sea and the territory, 3rd floor.The room is spacious.There are no bathrobes, which is very uncomfortable, although the hotel is 4 *, as it were.The reception said that the bathrobes are only in the Suites.It's a big minus.I didn't have any slippers either, I asked the maid, gave them out without packaging, hopefully not worn.There is no toothpaste or toothbrushes either .There are only glasses on the table and an ashtray.The water is in the cooler on the floor.These minor details would seem, but the sediment remains when there is something to compare it with.In hotels of the same category, there are bathrobes with slippers, and one-time brushes with paste, and tea and coffee bags.The food was good, we took half board, breakfasts and dinners, we didn't go hungry.There was no animation, a friend was relaxing at the Nart hotel in parallel, so there were some classes all day, exercises in the pool, and so on, like yoga, zumba, etc. They entertained themselves.The overall impression is 4. For a trip of 4 nights for two, with a flight, with half board, they gave 87 thousand.It's not cheap, for that kind of money we could have arranged the conditions more comfortably.

The hotel is just great!!! My husband and I came to Abkhazia for the first time. We considered hotels to have a heated pool (month of April) and decided this one. I liked it! The standard room is modern, comfortable, with a balcony and sea view. There was cleaning every day.
The territory is well maintained, all in greenery and flowers. The beach should be improved a little more, the huge stones should be removed. It will be 👍. I liked the view, the sea on one side, the mountains on the other. There is a pool bar, for a fee. I really liked everything, thank you very much!!!!

The only thing that left an unpleasant aftertaste was the staff waiter at the hotel on the breakfast buffet. A girl with two pigtails, the name is not remembered.. She's very angry, she walks around pushing chairs with small children, she doesn't even apologize several times, she irritably cleans up the dishes, she probably already broke a single plate with this approach, she looks like she's been sick of everything, she hasn't had any appetite for a day..I ask the hotel management to pay attention to this and work with this employee.

There is a warm swimming pool, spa (swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, hammam) the price of an adult ticket for 3 hours is 1000 + adults are considered to be all over the age of 12).
In the large outdoor pool every morning at 10 a.m., aqua aerobics for half an hour for everyone. There is a children's room.Mostly for kids. They sculpt, draw, paint sea pebbles + in the evenings a small animation in the fresh air.
You can rent a sap to swim by yourself or with an instructor.
Boats approach the pier every day - they offer a small excursion with swimming in the open sea - we really liked it + we saw a flock of dolphins.
There is a teahouse 5 minutes away-I also recommend it. Delicious, cozy, prices are lower than in St. Petersburg. in places of this level.
+With the general devastation in the country, which does not detract from my love for Abkhazia and its inhabitants, this hotel is a real oasis.We are lucky to have a rest here.

Positive: beautiful grounds, large and clean rooms. Friendly staff.
Cons: there are no dishes in the rooms, only glasses. There are coolers in the corridors, we went with a glass for hot water, it was hot to hold. There was no cooler on our floor, we went down to the floor below.

We had a rest in the middle of June. Everything is great. The territory is beautiful and cozy. The beach is small, but fenced, and there is a bar. We had breakfast in the restaurant (buffet) and dinners in the teahouse. In fact, there is an active ancient temple and museum on the territory of the hotel. Within walking distance of a pharmacy and several grocery stores, magnets, spices and tea (with a price like at the local market). For fans of churchkhela, it is cheaper on the market , of course.
The only disadvantage in my opinion is the lack of a curtain in the bathroom, it is the curtain that is needed there, otherwise all the water is on the floor, of course there is where it all flows down, but damn, the floor is constantly in water, the toilet is in water. I had to take a scraper out of the car and constantly pour water after a shower 🙄

It was the first time we were with friends in this hotel. This is not the first time in Abkhazia, there is something to compare it with. I didn't like the attitude of the staff towards the guests, there is no loyalty to the client. We arrived on 7.03.25 to celebrate March 8th. We moved into a suite with two rooms and a balcony overlooking the backyard. The room is dark. The rooms are small and it's still dark. We were asked to relocate with a view of the pool or the sea, but we were refused. Although it wasn't the season, and there weren't many rooms in the living room. The second point is when I ordered rooms, they told me that the spa complex works for 500rubles for children and 1000rubles for adults. As a result, we came to the spa, my children, who were 14 and 12 years old, turned out to be adults, that is, give 4,000rubles for a family in 3 hours. The third point is that nothing is working nearby, it's not the season, that's understandable. It is available only in the Teahouse cafe or in the on-site restaurant. We had breakfast for two days, everything was OK, on the third day the shift changed and the horror began. 😱20 minutes we waited for the menu, then we took the menu ourselves and waited 20 minutes 🙄until someone came to serve. Then the waitress mixed up the whole order, either she will bring us tea, and then we wait for another 20 minutes for mugs, or she will bring cheesecakes to the children, and you wait another 20 minutes for condensed milk until you remind us three times.
This is not the first time we have been to Abkhazia, there is something to compare it with, so I do not recommend visiting this hotel. Spoiled mood and wasted nerves.😡

Very beautiful territory of the hotel, well maintained, lots of greenery. The hotel is clean, the maids are smart, especially Armine. The staff is friendly, the rooms have daily wet cleaning. Breakfasts could be varied, every day the same thing gets boring. I liked rice porridge, pancakes, tangerine jam. The sea is clean, but it is better to enter it in corals, there is a swimming pool, a spa. There is a transport interchange nearby, you can go anywhere in Abkhazia by minibus, Russian Railways can get to Adler by swallow. It is better to take medicines with you from Russia, in Abkhazia prices are 2-3 times higher in pharmacies.

A gorgeous place, a very beautiful area, where a bunch of flowers, palm trees, cypresses, kiwis hang right on the walls of the hotel.
A warm swimming pool with sun beds and umbrellas.
Special respect for the playground, where in addition to swings and slides there is a free trampoline. The children also enjoyed watching the pheasants.
The views of the hotel are beautiful. Even at the sea, even at the mountains. We had a room with a view of the church and the mountain with a castle. Just a delight!
They are cleaned every day. The staff is very friendly.
There is a spa area. The children liked the Jacuzzi very much.
A small drawback is the breakfasts, which are not available. And I have to go to the Abaatu restaurant. But there the buffet is modest and the food cools down quickly and is not heated. Although it is a beautiful place.
You can also go to the breakfast menu in the Teahouse. We've never been there for breakfast, though. We usually had lunch or dinner. That's where it tastes amazing.
You can also play tennis, football, and volleyball at the hotel. It won't be boring. Well, the first line by the sea is fine.
From the hotel, across the street, you can go to the Prince of Odelburg Castle, as well as walk along the embankment and park.
In a word, the hotel is top! I would like to improve the breakfasts, but everything is fine.

We rested at the hotel in early September 2024 in an improved room in the main building.

There are two excellent restaurants on the territory: a teahouse and an Abaata, a menu for every taste.
Swedish breakfasts in Abaat start at 8-00, late for the sea, I would like to at 7-00.
The beach on the territory is separate, strangers do not walk on it, sun beds, umbrellas, there is enough for everyone. A bar with high-quality drinks and fast service, the guys are doing well, they are trying!!!

The hotel has its own SPA center with sauna, hammam, massage, etc. Everything is fresh and maintained in excellent condition. In general, the hotel struck with its thoughtful design - something between medieval Europe and traditional Abkhazia. The walls of buildings, decorative elements, real tiles on the roofs. A combination of masonry, modern materials... Aesthetes will have fun. The staff is friendly and ready to answer all questions. An ancient church is a historically significant religious site on the territory of the hotel. And the hotel itself carefully preserves the historicity of the fortress, the remains of which are successfully inscribed and individual elements of which are still discernible in the outer walls

We love this hotel and have been visiting for many years. In April 2024, we were delighted with the outdoor pool, as the water temperature was perfect, just hot!! We arrived in April 2025- the water is absolutely cold, it is impossible to swim. The pool is NOT heated. Apparently, the water is heated only by the sun, that is, in no way. There is NO point in going in the cold season. It's a pity, the rest is ruined....

We rested at this hotel, a good hotel, clean, beautiful territory, there is a spa. Well, there are a lot of children in this hotel, there is one pool for everyone, it is impossible to swim and relax, children scream all day in the pool, run along the corridor, their parents take them to the spa, they scream and run there too. It is unclear what kind of spa this is. It's just then the pool is only indoor. Make a distinction, or the children's pool is separate. Make the hotel 16+. Why should small children be allowed into the spa salon? There is no rest for other people, although the price tag of the hotel is not small. The administration is kindly requested to pay attention to this.

A great place in Abkhazia. A cozy hotel, clean rooms, plumbing is working properly, decent breakfasts, within walking distance of a Tea house where you can have lunch and dinner. The pool is clean, the shore is its own, umbrellas and sun beds are in sufficient quantity, towels are both beach and room. The territory is very well maintained, it looks like a park, there is a lot of space, my son was actively riding a scooter. Are you satisfied with your stay at the hotel

There are questions about the beach - there are a lot of large boulders in the sea at the entrance to the water and in the water close to the shore, they can probably be removed. Bathing only in special slippers. The water is very clean, and cleanliness is also monitored on the beach. Some of the beach umbrellas are not fully functional, but this is not critical. There is enough space for everyone. I really liked the water aerobics in the pool. The hotel only had breakfast occasionally - a buffet, decent, enough for everyone. For pastries and fruits - not Turkey, but there are.

We have been staying at the hotel for a week now. Everything is perfect. The cleaning is excellent, the pool is warm and clean. I liked the restaurant. The territory is super. We have two rooms in the main building, there are no bedbugs and cockroaches , everything is clean, bed linen is constantly changed. Thanks to the staff, very friendly! Special thanks to anamatar Daria, just a smart girl, my daughter was delighted with Dasha, thank you!!! I was very good at entertaining the kids, everything is great!!!

We rested with our family for 11 days. Gorgeous view from the room, the mountains and the sea. They cook very tasty in a Teahouse and inexpensive, in a restaurant it is not particularly tasty and 2 times more expensive. The staff is friendly. We will definitely come back here again. One disadvantage is the large pebbles on the beach and large boulders in the sea, but it's okay, the corals save. Sochi, Krasnodar Territory is not even close to Abkhazia

An amazing place! Gagra, Abaata, this is love for the ages! The hotel is simply fabulous, the rooms are clean, cleaning and change of towels every day, the bed was changed every 3 days. The sea is crystal clear, it takes 1 minute to walk from the hotel, there are always free sun beds. The pool is clean, the temperature is excellent, it cools in the heat, in windy weather we did not freeze, we swam with pleasure, with stunning views of the mountains, while the sea was stormy. About the food, there is a bar on the shore, delicious burgers, a foam snack, cocktails, everything is very tasty, and they quickly give the order. The Abbot's teahouse, next to the hotel, is delicious, colorful, the price tag does not bite, the waiters are very polite, it's a pleasure to go there. In the Abaat restaurant, breakfast, buffet, is paid separately, everything is delicious too. Well, from lunch there are fabulous dishes, some names cause euphoria.
We rest in Abzasia for the 6th year in a row, and Abaata conquered. We are already planning a trip for the New Year holidays, and next September!

Wonderful hotel, wonderful staff, instantly responding to requests / comments, excellent location on the beach, in the bay, next to the seaside park. Everything in this place has come together perfectly for a perfect vacation. The outdoor pool, unfortunately cold for winter holidays, is only +22, but the newly opened indoor spa more than compensated for rainy days. The rooms are clean, spacious, and the beds are comfortable. The room was warm. The breakfasts are delicious, hearty and plentiful. The presence of a teahouse and a restaurant on the territory is a big plus, especially in winter, when half, if not more, of all catering establishments in Gagra are closed. I liked absolutely everything, thank you for a wonderful vacation, we hope to return to you in the summer!
