All the main sights of old Gagra are within walking distance.
There is a warm swimming pool, spa (swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, hammam) the price of an adult ticket for 3 hours is 1000 + adults are considered to be all over the age of 12).
In the large outdoor pool every morning at 10 a.m., aqua aerobics for half an hour for everyone. There is a children's room.Mostly for kids. They sculpt, draw, paint sea pebbles + in the evenings a small animation in the fresh air.
You can rent a sap to swim by yourself or with an instructor.
Boats approach the pier every day - they offer a small excursion with swimming in the open sea - we really liked it + we saw a flock of dolphins.
There is a teahouse 5 minutes away-I also recommend it. Delicious, cozy, prices are lower than in St. Petersburg. in places of this level.
+With the general devastation in the country, which does not detract from my love for Abkhazia and its inhabitants, this hotel is a real oasis.We are lucky to have a rest here.

Very beautiful territory of the hotel, well maintained, lots of greenery. The hotel is clean, the maids are smart, especially Armine. The staff is friendly, the rooms have daily wet cleaning. Breakfasts could be varied, every day the same thing gets boring. I liked rice porridge, pancakes, tangerine jam. The sea is clean, but it is better to enter it in corals, there is a swimming pool, a spa. There is a transport interchange nearby, you can go anywhere in Abkhazia by minibus, Russian Railways can get to Adler by swallow. It is better to take medicines with you from Russia, in Abkhazia prices are 2-3 times higher in pharmacies.

We had a vacation with two children for two years in a row, celebrated New Year and Christmas.
Location: In our opinion, the best place of the entire Black Sea coast as the hotel has a large territory and only the sea and mountains are in front of our eyes. Nothing superfluous
Weather: According to statistics, Gagra has almost 300 sunny days a year. Therefore, the sun greeted us and saw us off, on a sunny day the temperature can be up to 20 degrees, and after winter it causes very tremulous feelings every time.
Staff: polite, attentive, helpful
Rooms: we took an superior and a suite, both times with a view of the park, a view of a million). The room is always clean, fresh towels, there is everything you need. A baby cot is provided upon request. The hotel is quiet and very cozy.
Meals: in December and January, only the Tea House was open, but that was enough for us. There is room service
Entertainment: in addition to the gorgeous views, there are many options. What we used every day is the SPA. You can't think of a better implementation than a five. The pool wasn't working outside, but it was cold last year, so there's a lot to work on.
We come back because the picture and emotions have been with us all year and are not forgotten.
There were no problems with electricity, they switched to the generator in 5 seconds and the celebration continues. The attitude towards Russians has not changed, the locals are just as friendly and caring.

A gorgeous place, a very beautiful area, where a bunch of flowers, palm trees, cypresses, kiwis hang right on the walls of the hotel.
A warm swimming pool with sun beds and umbrellas.
Special respect for the playground, where in addition to swings and slides there is a free trampoline. The children also enjoyed watching the pheasants.
The views of the hotel are beautiful. Even at the sea, even at the mountains. We had a room with a view of the church and the mountain with a castle. Just a delight!
They are cleaned every day. The staff is very friendly.
There is a spa area. The children liked the Jacuzzi very much.
A small drawback is the breakfasts, which are not available. And I have to go to the Abaatu restaurant. But there the buffet is modest and the food cools down quickly and is not heated. Although it is a beautiful place.
You can also go to the breakfast menu in the Teahouse. We've never been there for breakfast, though. We usually had lunch or dinner. That's where it tastes amazing.
You can also play tennis, football, and volleyball at the hotel. It won't be boring. Well, the first line by the sea is fine.
From the hotel, across the street, you can go to the Prince of Odelburg Castle, as well as walk along the embankment and park.
In a word, the hotel is top! I would like to improve the breakfasts, but everything is fine.

A stunning hotel, the atmosphere of Italy, clean, tidy, the restaurant is very tasty, the heated pool is warm, vacationers are mostly couples with children. First of all, I want to mention the excellent room cleaning. The hotel is conveniently located: close to the park and the promenade. There is a tea house nearby, a decent restaurant at the hotel (for those who are fed up with Caucasian cuisine). Across the street there are shops with everything you need (pharmacy, groceries, canteen, liquor stores with local drinks). Gorgeous territory. Slightly tired rooms. Entering the sea with boulders. But we even liked it. In general, I recommend the hotel.

We rested at the hotel in early September 2024 in an improved room in the main building.
The beautiful, beautiful, fragrant, well-groomed territory of the hotel. There are benches, in the evening you can sit and get some fresh air. Hammocks, a children's trampoline and a mini playground. There is an equipped swimming pool on the territory, they write that it is heated, it seemed very cold to us. Everything in the hotel is without complaints, clean, the room is cleaned perfectly, the bed is changed every two days, towels are on demand. There is a kettle and tea making facilities in the room. The staff is polite, friendly, the girls at the reception solve all questions for 5+. We went to the Spa, I think in rainy and cool weather, salvation for vacationers. We went to Larisa's massage, magic hands, one of the best massages!!!!
There are two excellent restaurants on the territory: a teahouse and an Abaata, a menu for every taste.
Swedish breakfasts in Abaat start at 8-00, late for the sea, I would like to at 7-00.
The beach on the territory is separate, strangers do not walk on it, sun beds, umbrellas, there is enough for everyone. A bar with high-quality drinks and fast service, the guys are doing well, they are trying!!!
There are nuances about entering the sea, large boulders, and it's scary to go in special shoes. We would make a small pontoon for a comfortable entry into the sea or clear the waves, it would be a big plus for the hotel.

We have been staying at the hotel for a week now. Everything is perfect. The cleaning is excellent, the pool is warm and clean. I liked the restaurant. The territory is super. We have two rooms in the main building, there are no bedbugs and cockroaches , everything is clean, bed linen is constantly changed. Thanks to the staff, very friendly! We rested with our family for 11 days. Gorgeous view from the room, the mountains and the sea. They cook very tasty in a Teahouse and inexpensive, in a restaurant it is not particularly tasty and 2 times more expensive. The staff is friendly. We will definitely come back here again. One disadvantage is the large pebbles on the beach and large boulders in the sea, but it's okay, the corals save. Sochi, Krasnodar Territory is not even close to Abkhazia

When the expectation was fully justified by reality, the hotel was very pleasant, the room was clean, cleaned every day, the towel was changed. The room has everything you need, TV, hairdryer, air conditioning, refrigerator.
A huge plus is that there is a sea nearby, a pool. Sun beds are always available. Despite the fact that a decent number of people are resting here, there is no feeling that you are in an anthill. The beach is free. It is not even necessary to talk about the view where the hotel is located, and it is so clear that it is beautiful 😍 we rested with children, the only thing that let us down was the lack of a normal children's menu and to feed a 2-year-old child caused difficulty. Exactly... There are two restaurants in the hotel, I don't know why they praise the tea house (we didn't like the word there at all. It takes a long time, they bring a cold dish, you run around looking for a waiter to bring the menu first and then the bill. The children's menu there is slag, it is not tasty and it is only until 19 o'clock. I do not recommend going there) but Abaat's restaurant is straight love ❤️ the price tag there is certainly not cheap, for 2 adults and 2 children the average check was about 6 thousand. We had breakfast included. Of course, I advise you to take everything included, because it is not profitable to eat in a restaurant, but delicious 👍but minus that there is no children's menu in Abaat's favorite restaurant, but despite the delicious dishes, and we tried almost everything there 😁 not only that, children may like it. That's why they were always worried that the children would at least eat something. And keep in mind that cash payment or transfer. There is Wi-Fi on site (it works every other time)
But despite this, we got high on 10 out of 10. Recommend. I hope someday they will think about the little guests and come up with a delicious and healthy menu for children. They spend a lot of time here with children. We will definitely get back to you. If you are thinking, I recommend it.

An amazing place! Gagra, Abaata, this is love for the ages! The hotel is simply fabulous, the rooms are clean, cleaning and change of towels every day, the bed was changed every 3 days. The sea is crystal clear, it takes 1 minute to walk from the hotel, there are always free sun beds. The pool is clean, the temperature is excellent, it cools in the heat, in windy weather we did not freeze, we swam with pleasure, with stunning views of the mountains, while the sea was stormy. About the food, there is a bar on the shore, delicious burgers, a foam snack, cocktails, everything is very tasty, and they quickly give the order. The Abbot's teahouse, next to the hotel, is delicious, colorful, the price tag does not bite, the waiters are very polite, it's a pleasure to go there. In the Abaat restaurant, breakfast, buffet, is paid separately, everything is delicious too. Well, from lunch there are fabulous dishes, some names cause euphoria.
We rest in Abzasia for the 6th year in a row, and Abaata conquered. We are already planning a trip for the New Year holidays, and next September!

We had a rest in the middle of June. Everything is great. The territory is beautiful and cozy. The beach is small, but fenced, and there is a bar. We had breakfast in the restaurant (buffet) and dinners in the teahouse. In fact, there is an active ancient temple and museum on the territory of the hotel. Within walking distance of a pharmacy and several grocery stores, magnets, spices and tea (with a price like at the local market). For fans of churchkhela, it is cheaper on the market , of course.
The only disadvantage in my opinion is the lack of a curtain in the bathroom, it is the curtain that is needed there, otherwise all the water is on the floor, of course there is where it all flows down, but damn, the floor is constantly in water, the toilet is in water. I had to take a scraper out of the car and constantly pour water after a shower 🙄

That's an honest 5 stars, but reduced for stones in the water on the beach and a paid spa. A chic hotel, beauty inside, beauty and cleanliness outside. It is very green around, there is an exit to the city embankment, where it is good to walk with a stroller and with older children. There are a lot of cafes there. The Internet is bad, it crashes constantly, working applications like VPNs don't pull any. But a huge plus is that there are always free places both by the pool and by the sea. There is a bar by the sea with drinks and snacks. It's free for us, so the power wasn't on. The hotel has two restaurants. One is of the European plan, and the second is a tea house. I highly recommend this tea house. Everything is delicious, the prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly. They cook quickly. The sea is clean in good weather. If it rains, then muddy water flows from the river nearby. For children: there is a small children's room, and for older children there is a separate room, with TV, with board games. We traveled around Abkhazia completely and stayed in 5 hotels, I must say right away - this is the best! The room on the ground floor is huge, there is a swimming pool nearby, there is a spa, a fitness room, scooters for rent, a beach bar and 2 cool restaurants in the complex, it is very difficult to find a piece of comfortable rest in Abkhazia. The hotel has a history, some old elements have been preserved. I recommend the hotel, I will most likely return again.

We were at the hotel in September 24. We really liked it! 😍A large area, all in greenery! Tangerines, kiwis, limes grow right on the territory. The rooms are clean, beautiful, daily cleaning, which was very surprising.The staff is polite and professional. Everything is modern, there is everything you need for a comfortable stay! Overall, I liked the hotel. I have been vacationing in Abkhazia for several years, and I must say that this one has turned out to be the best among other hotels so far. I vacationed here in October 2024. There are many more advantages than disadvantages.
Among the advantages are a well-groomed territory, a heated outdoor pool, a spa with a Finnish bath and a hammam, a massage room, a gym and an entertainment room for children. An excellent choice for breakfast is a buffet. There are two restaurants at the hotel. The menu for lunch and dinner is European in the Abaat restaurant and local in the Teahouse restaurant. Upon arrival at the Tea House, I took lamb pilaf - it was very tasty. The size of the room was quite satisfactory, not big, but not small either. Cable TV, many channels are working.
Cons: Prices in restaurants are not democratic. The average check for lunch with local wine such as Cheget, Lykhny, etc. comes out about 2000 rubles. There is no homemade wine. They try to do the cleaning every day, but sometimes they don't do it very well. They forget to clean the sink in the bathroom. Although the linen was changed every 3 days. And also about cleaning - you come to the room at about 16 o'clock, and they haven't even cleaned your trash yet. I had to ask the reception to send a maid. The beach, huge boulders, and how to enter the sea caused doubt is a big question. And the beach itself is very small in size. They often turned off the electricity for 5-10 minutes. It is not very clear why the rooms with balconies overlook the hotel parking lot. I have a bad idea how to sit on the balcony in the evening and look at parked cars, because because of the canopy over the balcony, in principle, nothing else is visible. And the balcony itself is very small.
Audibility in the hotel - the neighbors behind the wall are almost inaudible, but in the corridor what is happening is perfectly audible.
Of course, the disadvantages can either be solved or ignored.
In general, it is a very good option for recreation, especially in the cold season.
Yes, I also want to add - dear staff, when guests arrive at your hotel almost at night, it would be nice to meet them at the hotel door, and not wait for them to guess where the reception is, especially in the rain! In addition, for some reason the reception is very far from the entrance to the territory. No one greeted us like that from the word at all. I had to ask the residents where the reception is located. Guests have come to you, not begging for alms and shelter!!

A wonderful hotel with a picturesque area. We rested here in the off-season in November. We were lucky with the weather, we even got a little tan and swam in the outdoor heated pool. The standard rooms are very compact, but the balcony offers wonderful views. I liked the spa and massage. The staff is friendly and caring.

The hotel is just great!!! My husband and I came to Abkhazia for the first time. We considered hotels to have a heated pool (month of April) and decided this one. I liked it! The standard room is modern, comfortable, with a balcony and sea view. There was cleaning every day.
The territory is well maintained, all in greenery and flowers. The beach should be improved a little more, the huge stones should be removed. It will be 👍. I liked the view, the sea on one side, the mountains on the other. There is a pool bar, for a fee. I really liked everything, thank you very much!!!!

We are resting now in this wonderful hotel. Everything is wonderful. European quality. Clean, well-groomed, there is music in the restaurant in the evenings. The nature around is super, the pool is warm, there is a spa salon. Everything is for a measured leisurely rest ..., but everything sooo spoils settling in with young children. The audibility is very strong, the children wake up early, at 6 o'clock, and the screaming begins, running along the common corridor, screeching, slamming doors. A big request is to make a 16+ hotel, at least for the summer season, from May. To wake up in complete silence, to the chirping of birds and the sound of the sea, complete relaxation, this hotel positions itself very well for this.

The advantages of the hotel are excellent staff, magnificent grounds, two swimming pools, two good restaurants. There is a small children's room, a football field, a trampoline and a small playground for children, animals (rabbits and birds). A huge plus is the close proximity to the beautifully old park, it is soulful and beautiful there.
One of the disadvantages for us is the rooms. They are clean, you can take them with a view, but they are small and, of course, I would like to live in a more modern room, especially a bathtub…

Wonderful hotel, wonderful staff, instantly responding to requests / comments, excellent location on the beach, in the bay, next to the seaside park. Everything in this place has come together perfectly for a perfect vacation. The outdoor pool, unfortunately cold for winter holidays, is only +22, but the newly opened indoor spa more than compensated for rainy days. The rooms are clean, spacious, and the beds are comfortable. The room was warm. The breakfasts are delicious, hearty and plentiful. The presence of a teahouse and a restaurant on the territory is a big plus, especially in winter, when half, if not more, of all catering establishments in Gagra are closed. I liked absolutely everything, thank you for a wonderful vacation, we hope to return to you in the summer!

It was not possible to sleep on the mattress, he turned around all night, as if he was from the past, from the USSR, all the equipment made sounds all night, which also interfered with sleep (the air conditioner made noise with various mechanisms and the refrigerator made mechanical sounds).

Well, there are a lot of children in this hotel, there is one pool for everyone, it is impossible to swim and relax, children scream all day in the pool, run along the corridor, their parents take them to the spa, they scream and run there too. It is unclear what kind of spa this is. It's just then the pool is only indoor. Make a distinction, or the children's pool is separate. Make the hotel 16+. Why should small children be allowed into the spa salon? There is no rest for other people, although the price tag of the hotel is not small. Arrival, well, really, you can make a kind of ramp, people don't all travel with hand luggage, and dragging their stuff through 2-4 decent steps is so-so... Well, the quest, find the reception, was also pleased, since the administrators are pleasant. They settled in.. For 15 minutes we just laughed and realized.. "CHALET" is very loud for this building. A door with a broken handle and cracks in the doors that a cat's paw will crawl through! The room is clean, that's all. Linoleum, terribly old, dirty, loud conditioner, no brush, no paste.. The audibility is 200%. We knew the bathroom schedule and all the neighbors' preferences!
Beach.. On the grass, yes, it's not bad. The rest is rocks, you can't go in and out of the sea for sure.
The SPA is good, but if the receptionist is a nice woman, and the girl on the phone, who is basically not interested in anything. The steam room does not work, the hammam, the door to the pool is closed, she does not care... 🤣 go to bask in the outdoor pool through the reception, thank you for not going through the restaurant!
Tea house, horror. . In short, when ordering lagman from the "soup" section, they brought porridge made of potatoes and spaghetti, period.

Nice hotel. We are coming for the second time. We lived on the 3rd floor. You can iron clothes in the hallway.
The cooler is on the second floor.
There is a varied menu for breakfast. Delicious delicate cheesecakes, jams made of tangerines, berries. For both children and adults.
There are enough sun beds and umbrellas on the beach for everyone.
And, of course, the sea is amazingly clean.

Nice hotel. There are mountains on one side and the sea on the other. On-site spa, sauna, zoo), tennis court, football and volleyball fields, heated swimming pool, beach bar and much more - in general, everything you need for a good rest.
The staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious, they do not shine with novelty (they lived in a historical building), but they are maintained in good and clean condition.
They provide tour guides.
There are exits from the hotel directly to the walking areas of Gagra.
What was missing was the included breakfasts.

Everything is fine and I agree with everything about the beauties. We lived with my husband in the standard in the 3rd building. We went into the room and were very surprised - there is a minimum of furniture (a small table with a TV on it, no kettle, no additional dishes, no small cupboard with 4 hangers) One large bed with a single common soft mattress (although we had asked for two hotel beds in advance) It's not a bed, it's a trampoline of some kind. My husband had to work on the computer, he was placed on the bed, because there was nowhere else, I could not lie down and sleep, everything was shaking, I would have gone to sleep on the sunbed, but we were very unlucky with the weather. we arrived in the middle of September and for a whole week it was 21-22 degrees, rains, winds, unsanitary conditions outside the hotel. Famous historical places! The beaches of staraya Gagra are so polluted that it's amazing how the sea still remains clean. It's creepy to swim on the boulders in the hotel, so we just went to the neighboring beach opposite the national park, where children can safely go into the water. And the crossing of the Abkhazian border generally finished me off, they dropped me off the bus with suitcases, stood in line for 2 hours, the suitcase (large) did not climb through the turnstile, they tore off the handle. This is some kind of humiliation for tourists. In short, I waited for a vacation for a whole year, and I was very glad to return home. The beauty of the nature of Abkhazia was rated by 5.

This is the best choice! Just a gorgeous historical place. The first hotel since 1902. The rooms are super, the water is clean, the beach is nearby, the food in the restaurant nearby is delicious. I recommend and envy you if you go there! Payment in rubles.. You can transfer. There is a pharmacy nearby on the square. Everyone speaks Russian. Of course, I do not recommend getting sick, but there is an ambulance hospital. By taxi 400 rubles. Go before lunch. Reception in the general queue for ridiculous money. The doctors are elderly, but our old Russian school. She came with ears. They helped immediately. The attitude towards our tourists is excellent. In general, I recommend it. By the way, on the mountain, it can be seen from the hotel is the house of the founder of this hotel. Very impressed.

The view is beautiful only from the rooms to the courtyard , the rooms are tired and smell damp . They don't even bring water for 20 tons per room. You still have to pay for breakfast . I'm already silent about the prices in restaurants))) But the biggest disadvantage of the hotel is the sea, the entrance to the sea. It 's terrible , huge boulders , big stones , it's impossible to swim with children . I'm sure most tourists have broken legs. Ships are sailing close, the night is standing and so on, water with an oil film. For those who are interested in a sea holiday, the hotel is not suitable . I opened the window in the evening and listened to the disgusting karaoke singing from the park at full power . We have been to Abkhazia 4 times and I can say for sure that the hotel has the worst beach and especially the entrance to it, as well as swimming in it, because boulders of huge sizes are everywhere.the hotel has sun beds in the morning))) at a piece of the place where you can enter the sea, there are a lot of people at one point , because no one wants to stay without legs at all. I definitely do not recommend it .
