Breakfast is 500 rubles per person, like a buffet, a tea house on the territory of the hotel is perfectly cooked there, not really in the abbot's restaurant, the average price tag of the restaurant for 2 without alcohol is 2200 2500 there is an excellent nearby cheaper restaurant and with good food with excellent service there and you can have breakfast and lunch much cheaper. In general, the current is good nature for such prices, of course, you can find 5 hotels with food and with normal rooms, not as it does not deserve a maximum of 3, as they say that there is an ATM, then this is a deception any transfer at the hotel, massage, etc. the commission is not the bank and the hotel staff themselves add interest for the transfer, it shocked me so if of course, you choose a hotel, take cash, there are no ATMs constantly broken so that people cannot withdraw cash and take a commission for the transfer into their pocket. Of all the hotels that we saw in Abkhazia, I liked Abaata the most.
Excellent location, on the outskirts of the old town, opposite the Prince of Oldenburg Castle. The hotel has its own Territory, restaurant, beach bar, games room, table tennis, lawn tennis court, football, volleyball field, balls, badminton rackets, slide, swing, trampoline, hammocks, equipped with its own beach with sun loungers. There are various services: manicure, massage, haircut. From the hotel there is a green alley along the sea, along which it is pleasant to walk in the evening. Beautiful renovated old building, all in colors.
Of the minuses: a mattress with springs, from which everything hurts, the smell of sewage in the toilet.
In general, I liked everything: the sea is clean, a beautiful view of the mountains, fresh air, there are not many people.

A wonderful place! The rooms are clean, the territory is not large, green. Nearby is a park on the embankment, which is being landscaped in a modern way. Those with small children with a stroller have a place to walk. A wonderful continental breakfast (500₽ adult and 400₽), delicious and salads and porridges change every day! Quite justifies it!
Of the cons: terrible mattresses with springs, each one is felt (the room is improved). And strangers pass through the beach to the territory. The territory itself is closed and the passage is only with a key.
There is a lot of restoration and improvement outside the territory! But just like on the coast of the Krasnodar Territory - there are a lot of stray dogs (skeletons covered with skin and mutilated), and photo animators with poor animals (tiger cubs, eagles, owls, monkeys)....when we were there, the eagle jumped to the ground and crawled up the steps dragging the snag on which he was sitting, he was caught by the paw and the top was carried upside down back....at the same time, a couple immediately came up with the second one to take pictures! As long as there are those who sponsor the knackers, the animals will suffer!

A good hotel for decent money. Abaata is located at the beginning of the city of Haagra, beautiful and well-maintained territory, pleasant rooms.
Delicious breakfast in the hotel restaurant, 24-hour gym, heated swimming pool. There is a convenience store nearby.
There is a bar on the beach, sun beds, umbrellas and hammocks, everything is comfortable.
I didn't like it · 1) There is a very big problem with noise insulation in some buildings! We tried not to pay attention, but this is impossible, in the room in which we lived (103), literally every drain of water from the restroom of other rooms can be heard (this is due to the common riser in the building), i.e. at night you can wake up from the sound of water draining and be a little shocked.
2) If you do not hang the do not disturb icon on the room door, then the cleaner can come in with her key at the moment when you are in bed, it is not very convenient.
3) The hotel has 2 places to eat, a tea house and a restaurant. In both places, they can not cope with the load (if everything is booked at the hotel), then there are not enough waiters, you can wait a very long time for an order. The restaurant has better service and service.

Good parking, which is important for Abkhazia.A cool pool, although with such a wonderful sea, we didn't need a pool, we went in once. On the territory of the hotel there is a good store with goods for the sea. I bought myself a dream swimsuit) I couldn't find what I needed for a long time, and the prices are quite normal (not advertising)) however, I am very pleased) One disadvantage is that the lights are turned off every night from about 2 to 6 a.m., a hotel of this level could have its own generator. My piece of soul stayed at this hotel, I will definitely come back!
By the way, when I was choosing rooms, I couldn't find information on the Chalet building, so I think it will be useful for many, this is a beautiful building, wrapped in kiwi and bougainvillea, rooms there are cheaper, there will be no sea view, but you can safely take it! It is very beautiful and there are balconies, many have a view of the prince's castle and the church.

We stayed in an improved room with a balcony (furnished rooms). The room was spacious and, as it turned out, two-room. The room has a TV, a kettle and a mini fridge. There are 2 sockets for all these three electrical appliances))
The territory of the hotel is very well maintained, but small. The rooms are clean, cleaning (as it seemed) every other day, but if you ask the maid will clean at least every day. The balcony is tiny, there is a block from the air conditioner on it (it occupies half of the useful area of the balcony), there is a device for drying clothes. In the bathroom, a hair dryer without a holder hangs alone on a hook, there is not a single shelf in the shower (all my tubes and so on were on the floor ..). The bathroom smelled strongly of sewage in the morning. There are three hangers in the closet for 4 people in the room…
The pool is small, clean in appearance (not cloudy), but for some reason it did not smell of bleach ... the beach is small, cozy, but there were categorically not enough umbrellas. Most of them take places under them in the morning and go to sleep- although the rules say that you can not do this) as a result, for 6 nights in a hotel by the sea, they managed to stay under an umbrella only 1 time!! Question to the management: is it really impossible to add umbrellas or canopies? They are only available on half of the beach.
I also took a couple of massages from Alsou, I really liked it! I regret that it was not possible to take a few more sessions according to the rest schedule.
In general, the hotel is very beautiful, the staff tries to please. It was scary to go outside the hotel, a complete feeling that nothing had been done since the time of perestroika - complete ruin and a scoop. We had breakfast at the hotel, had lunch and dinner at the tea house and the Abaat restaurant. When we got tired of the restaurant menu, we went to Araucaria for lunch (next door).
Despite these nuances, I recommend the hotel, especially for those who like a quiet and secluded vacation.

I really liked it, the place is historical, just super! Nearby is the church of St. Hypatius, small and cozy, the fortress of the Prince of Oldenburg. The sea is cleanest 20 meters from the hotel. The hotel has a nice closed territory, the children walked by themselves all day, nursed local cats. The animator girl was very good at studying and playing with them. She herself offered options for spending time, was interested. The children didn't want to leave.
The hotels offer yoga near the sea, there are other programs for adults. Coach Julia is a professional in her field.
There is a good massage therapist.
The sauna on the territory of the hotel is also gorgeous!!!
In the restaurant, the breakfasts for 500 rubles are decent. There is a chic barbecue in the teahouse. Prices in restaurants are as usual as in the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory. But the catering service suffers a lot, do not count on good quality service.
In general, a very peaceful atmosphere, emotionally recovered, calmed the nervous system, relaxed. It is much quieter here than in the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory. I recommend the hotel!!!

Nice hotel.
What I liked. It has its own beautiful territory, its own beach with sun beds and umbrellas, there is a beach bar. Heated swimming pool. There are a lot of staff who keep order on the territory and in the buildings. A great breakfast for 500rubles per person, everything is very tasty! And coffee is generally above all praise.
We lived in the Furnished Rooms building in room 219. The room is one-room with a balcony. I think that the price of 9100rubles without breakfast is too high. And this is one of the most inexpensive rooms! And we booked directly at the hotel. The bathroom is large in size, but empty. No shelves for cosmetics, no hooks for towels. Despite the ventilation, there was a constant smell of sewage. The pillows are firm and high, the mattress is so-so. The balcony is small, and the third part of it is occupied by an air conditioner unit.
It's good that they meet the requests of the guests. We asked for extra beach towels, wine glasses and, on the last day, a kettle. But the most terrible thing is the rocks in the sea. They are huge! You can injure your knees, or your foot will fall between them. Well, it was possible to clear at least some area! Going in and out of the sea is a whole quest. In general, the beach itself could have been put in a more decent condition.
Although the territory of the hotel is fenced, outsiders can pass through the restaurant. That's what people did.

And yes, by the way, if you go to Abaata, then to the old, "historical" buildings. The "new", budget building "Chalet" hides from the sea behind the old building, is quite simplified and loses all the charm of rest, and costs much more than other, no less interesting, housing in Abkhazia. We took a break and rented an apartment with a kitchen in the old building for a couple of nights, and then spent the night in a budget "Chalet". It was as if they had moved from the palace to a hut.
P.s. in the reviews here they write about the "weak" service in Abkhazia (not in the hotel). People, it is not necessary to go to Abkhazia for the service. It is necessary to go to Abkhazia to visit. The hotel is not bad, clean, beautifully manicured territory, rabbits and pheasants live, a playground with swings and a slide, there is private Parking. There is wi-fi, ATM. Cards are not accepted! There is a game room, a small pool and a beach (loose sand + pebbles). The sea is clear. Breakfast is available for a fee at a nearby cafe.
One of the disadvantages is terrible audibility. All conversations in the hallway or on the street can be heard from the room. It is very cold in the room (we were at the end of April). There is no heated towel rail or floor dryer, no battery. The child's clothes had to be dried for several days. The room is small, although we took an improved one. My one-year-old baby and I were placed on the very last 5th floor, there is no elevator. I had to carry the baby and the stroller in my arms up all the stairs. Check-in to the parking lot through an automatic gate, we waited for 15 minutes for it to open. There is no bell/button on the gate.
In general, a good place, but the price / quality ratio, in my opinion, does not correspond to the cost of the room and the number of declared stars.

We had a rest with the whole family from 1.05.23 to 6.05.23 in Abata Pitsunda. The hotel has a good new staff, special thanks to Semyon, Zhenya and Sasha, the guys work for a solid five plus. The area is nice and clean. But....., there is no sound insulation in the rooms, from the word at all, who wants to sleep, I do not advise you to check in here. In the evening, there is no buffet in the restaurant, you can order only from the menu and then not everything, I do not understand why to sell and not to execute. The renovation in the rooms is fresh, but so poorly done. It is not possible to take a shower normally, then cold water, then hot, and if the neighbor also started taking a shower, then there is a possibility of being under boiling water, whether it was already impossible to put plumbing combs. Well, thank you, we wanted to return here in September, but we will refrain, the price tag was counted for 13 nights of 415,000rubles, this is too much for such a level of the hotel. Therefore, I'm putting three for now, I hope that everything will be fine.

We arrived ahead of check-in time, were allowed to leave our bags at the reception and we walked on the territory, along the seashore and the Seaside Park. The service is friendly, the room is neat, the territory is good, there are rabbits in a pen, pheasants, the beach is embossed. There were two rooms in the room, so the bedroom was quiet, but in the first room, where the door opens into the corridor, everyone who walks outside the door in the corridor is very audible. We ate in a teahouse. They were also allowed to leave the room later.

Thanks to the cook. Very tasty. There is also a restaurant "Uzbekistan". We had dinner twice, the waiters did well, everything is fine. But once, instead of the ordered wine, Isabella was brought in glasses. However, they were immediately replaced. We advise you, if you order wine, ask that the bottle be opened in front of you. The sea is rather a minus - the entrance is inconvenient, large stones, but it's okay to wear slippers. The beach is actually separate: although it is passable, but no one walks there and there are no stray dogs, so it is sparsely populated and you can leave things without problems. The rooms are simple and a little dark, but there is everything you need, slippers and bathrobes are also available. Unlike Novaya Gagra, I want to return to this hotel.
