The hotel is not bad, not 5 stars, of course, we have been vacationing since December 30, the room is small, and we booked it, to be honest, they seem bigger on the website, in fact not, although they improved the category for free, a compliment supposedly from the hotel, of course the view from the room is gorgeous. The territory is not large, but very beautiful. The outdoor pool was not working. There is a cool spa, the price is 1000 for adults, 500 for children, it's for three hours. Why do I give three stars, the mattresses in the rooms are old, rumpled somewhere, not comfortable, the room is cold, there is no place to dry things at this time. The air conditioner works, but it doesn't do much good and it's very noisy. But the most negative thing is the Tea House.We went there to eat, we always left a tip of 200-300 rubles, of course it may not be much, BUT there is a big one, BUT we came for breakfast, which was supposed to charge us 1468p, I put 5000t, brought the change for 1000 rubles less, I immediately approached the young girl waitress And she said that instead of 3500, she put 2500, to which she hesitated and said, "You don't have any change, otherwise we don't have any small ones." I say no, give us our 1000, as a result, she calmly took it out of her breast pocket and gave it back, okay, they forgot about it. Then we started ordering food in the room, they brought it to us and charged 180 rubles plus containers for delivery. OK. But yesterday I was delivering dishes again, the same as on other days, I know that the order is for 2500, I think I'll also leave a tip, but the girl brings the food to the room and it's handwritten on the receipt plus 500 rubles, of course I paid for everything, but I didn't understand why I gave 500 rubles, the sediment was not pleasant and we did not order anything else there.Therefore, whoever will be there, be sure to check the change and receipts!!!I'm attaching the receipt)And most importantly, before that, payment without cash was through Amra bank, but here they asked by phone. And to make it clear, the Tea house is located at the hotel, that is, for the first time I met it at the hotel, they also charged for delivery.

Everything is at the highest level!
According to nutrition, you need to understand that in Abkhazia, people generally eat less than in Russia, they are all slim and fit. Therefore, I recommend local cheese, vegetables and fruits. All this can be bought on the market at affordable prices. But if you want meat, then you can eat delicious food in the Abaat restaurant and in the tea house.
We have been traveling here with the whole family since 2019!

We rested at the hotel with a large company, the territory is very beautiful, the rooms are clean, a good sauna, an amazing pool with mountain and sea views, we would love to put 5 stars, BUT at check-out we wanted to take a general photo against the background of the hotel, but did not find an expensive camera. After an hour of searching and talking with the staff, miraculously the camera turned up in the room, the cash was less lucky, they were gone. I highly recommend the hotel for a vacation, but be vigilant, do not leave expensive things in the room, they may disappear.

We visited the hotel during the New Year holidays. The territory of the hotel is beautiful, it is pleasant to walk along it like in a park, however, all Gagra is like one big Arboretum. I was not impressed with the room, when you look at the hotel from the outside, you expect a beautiful cozy room with its own style, but alas this is an ordinary room unremarkable, we also have a very small one (we took a standard with a balcony in the building where the reception and spa are). The biggest disadvantage of the room is good audibility. Our neighbors had children and they were screaming loudly, they couldn't sleep. You can also hear everyone in the hallway who is leaving or stopping by. The room has a TV with cable, a lot of channels.
A separate word about the SPA, it is very difficult to sign up, plan a couple of days in advance (perhaps because we were at the peak of the hotel's workload). It is very convenient that we lived in the building where the spa is located, we do not need to put on a lot of clothes, people from other buildings pulled trousers on their steamed body for a long time :) The SPA is good, hammam, sauna, 12 m swimming pool, hydro massage pool. There is also a swimming pool outside, conditionally heated water +22, outside +9. Various types of massage can be ordered separately, unfortunately everything was busy. The spa floor is very slippery, although the girls constantly wipe the floor, but still be careful.
Meals are not included in the price, but there is a restaurant and a tea house on site. The restaurant has excellent buffet breakfasts for 500 rubles per person. Lunch and dinner on the menu. The menu is more varied in the teahouse. There is also a small chapel on site and if I'm not mistaken, services are held there.

But the room stock would like to update, to carry out a good cleaning, including to wash the walls or update them, to change furniture somewhere, shower cabins. We have been coming here for several years, but already this hotel does not cause delight as it was before, given the fact that prices have increased so much.... There is no sound insulation in the rooms, you can hear everything and everyone, from all sides, even from above... The cleaning in the rooms is so-so, my child will make the bed more carefully, they didn't even clean the shower, it's good that at least the towels were changed. Gels, shampoos, soap replenished, toothbrushes, pastes are not provided. In the shower, the toilet has a constant smell of dampness, the hood does not help, it would be possible to put at least a freshener.
In general, it would be nice for the management to pay attention to this, and not just raise the price for already old, dirty rooms.

This year's cuisine in the restaurant is the main disappointment ... something clearly went wrong and the owners overdid it with the "famous chefs": a complex composition and ingredients, with an application for sophistication, but then there is the average contingent, which does not like truffles for such money ... just NOT TASTY. The restaurant, where good live music plays in the evenings, now has a buffet.... "This is a fiasco, bro."
Previously, there was a sense of uniqueness and some elitism here ... now it is turning into an average Abkhazian hotel with a "so-so contingent" for a lot of money.

There are no questions about the hotel itself, BUT I would ask you to note that in the cafe :
1. Food is carried for a very long time, we were served drinks for 30 minutes, what can we say about food.
2. Before you go to the cafe, look at the prices, they are very large, one dorado costs 2900 or more, although it is disgusting.
3. They don't have much. The child wanted to eat a pork loin, but they don't have it and he had to eat one potato that costs 600 rubles, and they bring it in a small plate of five pieces.

This is not the first time we have come to Abkhazia and stayed in different hotels, but Abaata is the best. Pleasant atmosphere, very polite staff, cleanliness in the rooms, delicious breakfasts. The beach is very clean, there are enough sun beds and umbrellas, everything is free. In addition, leisure activities are organized for guests, for active ones: beach volleyball, table tennis, horseback riding, jet ski rental. I especially remember the morning yoga practices in an open gazebo right by the sea!!! The amazing and magical Julia taught us not only yoga, but also classes in neurography. I will definitely return to this hotel!

1. This location is just great, old Gagra is very beautiful, people are going on an excursion here, and you will live here. Parks are within walking distance, the Joekvar gorge is five minutes away, a castle across the street, a mini market across the street, where you can also take a minibus and go in any direction.
2. This hotel area is just beautiful, fountain, sculptures, pheasants, rabbits, the whole area is well maintained, clean. The outdoor pool was always clean, but without heating, probably because it was +30 outside. In the cold season, I do not know whether it is heated or not. Sometimes people who were brought on an excursion asked to enter the hotel for at least five minutes.
3. The staff is polite, responsive, they did not refuse my request to provide bathrobes, for which I thank you very much.
Now -
1. Minus Is the sea! As a neighbor on a chaise longue said that this beach should have been called a foot killer, and it really is, there is nothing to do here without aquashouses or coral slippers, but this does not really save you, there are cobblestones with half the height of a person, and somewhere with the height of a person, to go into the sea you have to try, and when you swim, you can scratch your leg or even your ass. But there is another disadvantage, water comes here from the mountain, that is, literally 10 meters into the sea, a mountain river flows into the sea, making the sea in this area fresh water, and lowers the degree of the sea decently, for example, if you go to the nearest medical beach, there the sea is warm salty and without cobblestones.
2. The minus is the room, very small, I was in a standard room with a balcony. I had to beg for slippers and a bathrobe, fortunately they did not refuse. A view of the courtyard of the kitchen of the tea house, where they were doing loading and unloading, smelled of food from morning to evening, they were peeling vegetables in the yard, I'll say so-so kind of. Although they asked for a view of the sea or pool and higher. But we were told that you don't have a suite. So keep in mind that this is a view of the kitchen of the teahouse. There are very few hangers for things in the room, I keep all my clothes on hangers, I rarely use shelves, and there were only 4 of them. Once again, it was very close to disperse, someone had to jump on the bed to get to the toilet.
3. The minus is the SPA. the pool is written with sea water, But in fact it turned out to be fresh. I had enough grief in half for 2 hours, and paid for 3 hours. The Finnish sauna is cold, the hammam is too hot, and I couldn't sit there for five minutes, the humid air burned my lungs. But there is one trick imitation of the current, if you have never tried to swim against the current, you can try it here, I liked this imitation, now I know how difficult it is.
4. The minus is the restaurant! That is, the breakfast buffet, the food was always cold, there was no variety, broken plates often came across, and eating with broken dishes is a bad omen! Baking is simply terrible, it is not possible - it is dry. The coffee is delicious but cold.
Since there are only 3 more cons. Although, as my husband says, "we have nothing to compare with," he means that we have not been to other hotels in Abkhazia, and what if it is even worse there😉

Hello! We visited the Abaata Hotel from 06/19/23 to 06/23/23. I really liked the hotel, it was warm, clean, tidy. The rooms are very clean. I especially liked the children's room. Anna is a children's animator, a very sincere and kind girl. Every hour children's programs such as:
-drawing
-stone painting
-board games
-modeling from plasticine, and many more things.
The child did not come out.
The beach is very clean. You can rent saps, jet skis, etc. A pleasure boat arrives every day. The beach bar has everything. There are playgrounds for football and beach volleyball. There is a good Thai massage.
The Abbata restaurant simply delighted me, very polite staff, delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
- Minus the fact that the pool is very dirty, and the water is cold, the child did not swim.

We had a rest in October 2024.

The room was checked in immediately without any traffic jams.

The room is clean and spacious enough. But I had a feeling that I was living in a room not with my wife, but with a cleaner, because after breakfast the room was cleaned and the bed linen was changed. There was a kettle in the room, even tea with sugar was put in.
2Pro the territory.
In the morning, when I got up and went out into the territory, I began to cry seeing this beauty. I immediately remembered a line from the song "Mountains on the left and the sea on the right. On site, you can get lost in palm trees, cypresses and alianders. There is also a heated swimming pool and many other entertainment options.
3Pro nutrition.
We had Breakfast and Dinner included, but I want to say the owner is stingy. Of the fruits, there were only watermelon, plum persimmon, even money was squeezed for an elementary mango"But the menu was changed every day. I can feel it coming, plus ten kg. Yes, there is not only a restaurant nearby where they feed from the hotel, but also a Tea house where friendly waiters and delicious food.
That's the air pumped up. After my chemical city, this fresh sea and mountain air makes you breathe deeply. Once again, at the expense of the receptionist, the girls solve the issue at once. By the way, if someone loves animals, then he will not lose either. There are rabbits, pheasants and cute kitties. (this is not for hunters). In short, if you want to relax with your soul and in a quiet environment, I recommend the Abaat hotel in staraya Gagra to everyone.

Practically on the territory of the hotel there are two excellent restaurants with excellent cuisine, their prices are really not low, dinner for two is 7-10 rubles. I really liked the atmosphere of the hotel, the beach, the pool, the green area. A rare hotel in Turkey, Greece or Egypt (five stars) in terms of service and comfort can be compared with "Abaata". The standard room is modern, comfortable, with a balcony and sea view. There was cleaning every day.
The territory is well-groomed, the beach would be a little more refined, it would be super. Although the stones are huge to remove. It'll be great. I liked the view, on one side the mountains are close, on the other side the sea. Imeretinka and Krasnaya Polyana - 2 in 1😃) Everything is blooming, fragrant even in October. Bananas are growing, murshmula, kiwi, tangerines (were still green) - we were in October). Palm trees, cypresses, etc.) there is a pool bar, for a fee. Everything you need is there: wine and vodka products, a snack. There are also sun beds by the sea. Is free. Not like in Adler😅

There's a canteen nearby, it's cheap, but it doesn't look very fresh. I didn't want to get poisoned, so we ate in a restaurant and nearby in the Abaat teahouse. Everything is very tasty there too. In rainy weather, the roof leaks a little in the restaurant, we need to address this issue
The girls at the reception are very nice, they will tell you everything and show you in detail.
As a result, I recommend the hotel, I came in. Everything is arranged. And the location is not so far from the border (20-25 minutes by car)

I really liked the restaurant, everything is fresh and delicious! The tea house on the territory is also not bad, but there are more people there and they do not always have time to serve on time.
The hotel has one big disadvantage - there is no sound insulation at all. We could hear blowing our noses in the next room, and when the company gathered in the room to continue the fun, it was impossible to sleep. We were vacationing with a small child and it was a test for us.

I really liked everything, we were a family and also a dog. The room is clean, cleaned in the morning, although the high humidity did not dry things on the dryer. We were on the ground floor, because of the dog. The prices are normal. The heated outdoor pool, the children enjoyed swimming there, near the sea shore, it is very beautiful, there is a restaurant and a teahouse on the territory, most of all they ate in the teahouse.

The food is not tasty either in the teahouse or the abaat. I do not advise you to go to Gagra, there is no place to eat, then they will cheat, then you will get poisoned, it is not clear what you ate for 10 days, there is no normal institution in the district. Go to Sukhum, there is no such thing and the sea is cleaner. The hotel itself is on 3, the room with a balcony did not have a very good view of the park, when going out on the balcony there is a risk of meeting neighbors, very close.

We had a rest with the whole family from 1.05.23 to 6.05.23 in Abata Pitsunda. The hotel has a good new staff, special thanks to Semyon, Zhenya and Sasha, the guys work for a solid five plus. The area is nice and clean. But....., there is no sound insulation in the rooms, from the word at all, who wants to sleep, I do not advise you to check in here. In the evening, there is no buffet in the restaurant, you can order only from the menu and then not everything, I do not understand why to sell and not to execute. The renovation in the rooms is fresh, but so poorly done. It is not possible to take a shower normally, then cold water, then hot, and if the neighbor also started taking a shower, then there is a possibility of being under boiling water, whether it was already impossible to put plumbing combs. Well, thank you, we wanted to return here in September, but we will refrain, the price tag was counted for 13 nights of 415,000rubles, this is too much for such a level of the hotel. Therefore, I'm putting three for now, I hope that everything will be fine.

A family hotel. A good atmospheric place, from here it is best to start exploring Gagra. You can walk around the neighborhood to get a complete picture of the city. I love abandonments - there are a lot of them around. We arrived ahead of check-in time, were allowed to leave our bags at the reception and we walked on the territory, along the seashore and the Seaside Park. The service is friendly, the room is neat, the territory is good, there are rabbits in a pen, pheasants, the beach is embossed. There were two rooms in the room, so the bedroom was quiet, but in the first room, where the door opens into the corridor, everyone who walks outside the door in the corridor is very audible. We ate in a teahouse. They were also allowed to leave the room later.

It is a very good hotel for Abkhazia. Clean and tidy rooms, fairly recent renovation, daily room cleaning. It has its own territory, swimming pool, restaurant, beach bar and cafe, children's rooms, football and volleyball courts. The beach is equipped with sun beds and canopies. Of the small disadvantages, the presence of large stones on the beach. It is very inconvenient to enter, especially if there are waves. And so a very good and decent hotel.

The best hotel in Gagra. Beautiful well-maintained territory. We rented an apartment - spacious, cleaning every day, everything works, clean, the staff is very pleasant, responds quickly to everything. The only thing was removed specifically from the kitchen to cook for an allergic child and the filling of the kitchen is very very minimal - there is no microwave, minimal appliances such as a colonel, a corkscrew, one knife and a refrigerator only bar and for some reason not in the kitchen. The pool is warm and clean. Umbrellas and sun beds on the sea. There were always enough sun beds everywhere in June. The tea house and restaurant are very tasty and inexpensive.
