Very beautiful grounds, swimming pool and private beach. There is a rental of sup boards. We didn't rest at the hotel, we just had dinner at the restaurant. But the appearance of the hotel is very inviting))). They wanted to take fish in the restaurant, but there was no "Fresh catch" and we took trout on the advice of the waitress. It was a nightmare, an absolutely inedible frozen muck, which was especially insulting, since there is a trout farm next to Gagra... But to the credit of the restaurant, I must say that the fish was not included in the check, respect! By the way, they have "Ashta Lasha", a good dry (white and red) table wine. No special frills, but pleasant.
Pros: mentally, close to the sea, a good outdoor pool, there is a schedule of sports activities, parking close to the buildings
Minuses: the food on the beach is only dry burgers , the doors from the second floor to the street stairs were closed in our building
A wonderful hotel. Very beautiful and well-maintained territory. Friendly staff. The girls will tell you everything, explain, and help you call a taxi. The room is cleaned regularly. Every day they put a package with a piece of soap, a toothbrush, a tube of paste, shampoo and shower gel and a shower cap. Everything is very clean. There are plenty of sun beds on the beach. But as always, Russians spread towels on the sun beds from the very early morning. Children are splashing in the pool with great pleasure. There are two restaurants at the hotel. Breakfast costs 500 rubles. The buffet. Porridge, pasta, sausages, omelette, eggs, vegetables, fruits. I advise you to try cheeses and cottage cheese. We had lunch here a couple of times. Thanks to the cook. Very tasty. There is also a restaurant "Uzbekistan". We had dinner twice, the waiters did well, everything is fine. But once, instead of the ordered wine, Isabella was brought in glasses. However, they were immediately replaced. We advise you, if you order wine, ask that the bottle be opened in front of you. On the last evening, the girl brought an open bottle, they also asked to replace it. And the meat didn't look like lamb, but it wasn't clear whose. In general, the wonderful impressions were spoiled. But I really liked the hotel itself.
A wonderful hotel! Very clean throughout, the service and staff are always kind and courteous! A beautiful beach, a great bar by the sea) the pool was very pleased with its cleanliness and warmth!
A wonderful hotel, the territory of the first coastline with access to the beach. There is a swimming pool on the territory, many flowers and various plants. The balconies of the hotel are covered with flowering vines, which creates a secluded atmosphere. The rooms are clean, cosmetics are put on daily, the cleaning is of high quality, the staff is friendly and modest.
Thank you all for your hospitality
A pleasant hotel with a beautiful territory, a private beach. The rooms are small, there is no elevator, but there is a mini zoo, a swimming pool, a church (Church of St. Hypatius of Gangra), a park with rare species of trees and shrubs. Nearby there is a tea house with wonderful food (but no frills)
The best hotel in Abkhazia, I advise everyone to go there, I've been there a lot of times, good food, there are many pools, near the sea, beautiful balconies
The hotel is nice and beautiful. The food is also of good quality. But the beach spoils any impression, it feels like you are somewhere in the bay of Novorossiysk. Rusty nails, some unfinished concrete slabs, clearly no one is taking care of the beach. Plus, the entrance to the water is very uncomfortable, huge slippery stones, you walk like through a minefield. The administration, pay attention to this, they come to you first of all by the sea.
Nice hotel in Staraya Gagra.
There is a warm swimming pool, a cafe and a teahouse on site. The rooms are clean and the hotel itself is very well maintained. The sea is 50 meters away. The beach is pebbly. There is a park and a promenade nearby. The hotel accepts pets at no extra charge in certain rooms.(very nice and clean)
Great hotel. We lived inexpensively for three days. Polite and helpful staff, daily cleaning and towel change. At our request, a heater was provided. There is a swimming pool on site, which is open even in winter. For animal lovers, there are rabbits and cougars)). Nice restaurant and cafe. Comfortably. Private Parking on site. We rested before NG. I liked everything. We thank the staff.
A beautiful hotel, good rooms , the nature is awesome , everything is good . of the cons, there are no mattresses on the sun beds by the sea, it 's difficult to lie down and there was no bottled water in the rooms, there was a cooler on the ground floor . food is not included, but there are two restaurants on site and there were no problems with this... I liked the Teahouse restaurant more
A very pleasant place to relax with a well-maintained territory, a private beach and cozy rooms. The staff is attentive and friendly, the rooms are cleaned daily. The hotel has a swimming pool with sun loungers and parasols. You can eat at the on-site restaurant and tea house. There is also a bar on the beach with cold drinks, ice cream and fast food. I recommend this hotel for a vacation!

It was the second time in this place that I had a very good impression.
Staff : kind, helpful and understanding when needed. They help to carry things, fold strollers, call a taxi, etc.
The place itself : know comments, just chic. Greenery, birds, animals and the sea with a swimming pool
Family : definitely yes, it is as safe as possible. A closed area with lots of entertainment for the kids. Even the children's room, sometimes it saves
What it makes sense to work on, what is missing (for the future): a horizontal bar area is very necessary on vacation. The elevator is in a new building, it is very necessary. A children's shallow pool of 50 centimeters is needed. The first two meters when entering the sea are large slippery stones, it is advisable to remove them, it is difficult for children to enter. Update the sun beds, tired. Add beer to the bar card, there are not enough Germans and Czechs. Scooters for rent for kids (tricycles). Are needed
The restaurant and Tea House are above all praise, the price tag is pleasant, the food is delicious, the staff is flexible and friendly
We lived in a two-room suite, for a large family - it's good. There is plenty of space, plus 2 balconies. There is folding furniture on the balcony, folded, put away and the children are safe.
Firm 5 to the owners of the establishment. We will come again
The hotel is very nice. We got a room with a huge balcony, very lucky) Thanks to the administrators and all the staff, they helped resolve any issues during the vacation. The room cleaning is excellent. The territory is picturesque, with animals. We ate mostly in the Tea House, we didn't take breakfast at the hotel. The pool is large and beautiful. There is a football field, a volleyball court, you can play table tennis, lawn tennis. I recommend the hotel. The entrance to the sea is not very convenient, there are a lot of stones. Be careful.
The beds are very hard, the springs from the mattress are noticeable, it is not very comfortable to sleep on such.

Excellent hotel in Staraya Gagra. There is only one disadvantage - it is very expensive. The park nearby is magnificent and the sea is very clean.
A great hotel, very green with lots of plants. For the first time, we saw how Kiwi grows here. The rooms are really small, but the beach is great, if of course you buy rubber slippers, then I'll run into the sea. I also liked the beach bar 🥰: delicious coffee ☕️ and watermelon sliced in a cup 👍
Abata is a great option for a comfortable stay, as we understand it, an excellent modern restaurant, excellent staff, in general, rest for all five, as they say, everything is at the highest level!
I dreamed of getting to abaata for more than 1 year, I fell in love with it from the photos of tourists .this year, I am traveling once again in Abkhazia, I have firmly decided - only Abaata in Gagra. And now that I've returned home , I know for sure that I won't go there anymore.I just want to write what I liked - the room is nice , the plumbing is good, the Internet is good.the territory is small, beautiful, no doubt.breakfasts are 500 rubles per person .there was no cleaning in 4 days, once the garbage was taken out, on the third day we already ate, I begged to change towels, because of the moisture they stank, and the beach was very upset, on the first day I injured my leg because of boulders, I didn't like the beach either, the most terrible for me!!! The staff with stone faces, at breakfast the waitress dropped the plates on us. I saw what we were eating , I started raking the plates and missed it, Sour cream in different directions, we're in sour cream !That was the last straw.Obviously, the employees are poorly trained or tired, but this is the first time in my life.the pool is small and there are a lot of children there, with huge circles.
In general, this is my opinion on this hotel , and everyone decides where to go
The price is clearly too high, does not match the quality and service
We were a family of 3 people before the pandemic. The price tag was very tempting for 3 stars. within 50t. The first level is to the sea. I join the reviews on the beauty of the territory, daily cleaning, in the bathroom there were all the accessories - mini shampoos, soap, snow-white toilet paper, hair dryer, and it was all replenished every morning, but as for nutrition, I would say the opposite. Especially alcohol-everything is on stream. It is very expensive for such a hotel in 2023. And their restaurant has an expensive menu with macaroni and cheese-dishes and drinks do not match the menu. Nearby there are shops like mini pyaterochka, you can eat, nothing more. The local corn was very tasty, not bonduel, but a real southern one. We were high in the mountains, above Stalin's dacha, past the Ritsa lake, where there are livestock and springs, a mini-shop and it had everything-local tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs, natural milk (cows, chickens). If desired, you can use
Dutifrey to visit. In the grocery market in mid-August, there was little local fruit and vegetables, mostly Turkish.
Bottom line: the cons cover the pros.
We will be happy to return there, to ABAATU!
Just Love! This is not the first time we have returned, clean rooms, gorgeous territory, which is rare for Abkhazia. We'll come again! it is located in staraya Gagra, near the embankment.
The place is very atmospheric and beautiful. We were unlucky with the time of year because in October, when we checked in, the hotel came under attack by bug bugs and they were just everywhere, on the ceiling, curtains, in the bathroom. There was also a stagnant smell of sewage in the room, which disappeared after two days of using the bathroom. No other disadvantages were found. The staff is friendly and friendly, all requests were fulfilled without delay. Great sauna, nice pool.
I was only on the territory. I dream of visiting the hotel itself. the area is very beautiful. there are a huge number of attractions nearby. Even kiwi grows on the territory)
It's a bit expensive for Abkhazia, but it's worth it. Heated swimming pool, daily room cleaning (change of towels, soap shampoo
and shower gel) pleasant, caring staff, cleaning on site daily. The beach is pebbly, there are always free sun beds and awnings, a bar on the beach. On-site restaurant, sauna, massage and spa rooms, gym (more often available). I really enjoyed relaxing here.
At the reception, three different employees gave three different answers to one question. Dryers cannot be placed outside, they must be dried in the room.
There are boulders on the beach near the shore that cannot be entered. About 15 meters from the shore, he hit a concrete cube with his shin. The kitchen has no window. VIP room.
The beautiful Abaata Hotel is located in the old town within walking distance to the sea. The hotel attracts with its intimacy, silence and regularity. There are several establishments on site that serve homemade food and excellent service. I will definitely come back here again
We have been resting for 2 years for New Year's holidays. Prices are rising by leaps and bounds, what happened in 22, 6 is already 10 this year. The place itself is great. The rooms are too small, a little more was just the thing. Clean, everything is cleaned on time. There is 1 cafe and a restaurant on the territory, if you can call it that. As for me, Abaat's cafe is a better place in Gagra. The sauna is super. I'll bet you 4 for a cold pool. It seems to be there, but at the same time it is not there. Since the water in it is 21-22 degrees in winter, I dived and came up running, you can't splash in it with children, it should be 35 degrees, as in all decent places, since we pay for it, it is deep, there is no children's zone in it. But there is a free nursery with babysitters, you can leave the child and go for a walk. We will definitely return to this hotel.
I really liked it, but there are small flaws, such as bathrobes and slippers only in the suites, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not issued. It does not wash stains on clothes, and this is important with children.
The rest is ruined, the promised heated pool of 25 degrees is actually icy, for days in the morning, and even on March 8 a tractor is working under the windows. They do not respond to complaints, nobody cares that people came to rest and not to live on a construction site. They took the money in full 6800 rubles per day , as a result , their head is splitting from their rest . It's not tasty in the teahouse. There was nothing at all from the breakfast menu at 10 a.m. The soup is just water , topped with fat .
The territory is on the first line , paving stones are being repaired everywhere in standard rooms , there is a block from the air conditioner right on the balcony on the floor
There is no tea, cups or kettle in the room. Cooler is in the hallway. There are no dressing gowns.
Spoiled holidays and holidays!!! We do not recommend the hotel to anyone.
Nice hotel, first line. An ancient church is a stone's throw away. Convenient access to the Gagra embankment. A wonderful Teahouse restaurant is nearby.
A very pleasant hotel. In the historical part of the city . A very tasty restaurant with a fireplace. Nearby there is a well-maintained promenade and a pier where you can go fishing.
A wonderful hotel, with a history! The first hotel in Gagra. Nearby is the castle of the Prince of Oldenburg, who founded the resort. And there is a wonderful ancient temple of the 6th century right next to the hotel. Of the restaurants, I liked the Abaat Tea House. In general, I recommend the hotel for a quiet and cozy stay for lovers of history and picturesque locations!
We chose the hotel a long time ago, back in March, and rested in June 2023. We did not calculate that a large river Joequara flows very close and in the rain in the mountains, and next to the gorge of the same name, it carries all the dirt into the sea and to our beach. With a clear sea, we were surprised that the water is cold near the shore, and then it is much warmer. Then they realized why. The hotel itself is well located, away from the center of staraya Gagra. The rooms are large, but different. We were not told that for 127 tr. for two 15 days, the standard, we are allowed only the third floor in the main building and with a view of the mountains. The rooms on the second floor are larger and have balconies. We have never had sun and there is a strong wind in the evening. In the corner room where we were first accommodated, when it rained, water poured through the window and onto the entire balcony. The clothes on the dryer have never dried! We moved to another room, next door, it got better. But it turned out to be smaller in area and the shower cabin is also smaller. Therefore, everyone in it touched something (a crane, a shelf). And that's all without even breakfast! We went to all the nearby hotels where there was a beach-the prices there are the same or slightly higher, but it always includes either half or full board. The two restaurants on site are quite expensive. The tea house is not tasty at all, one of these two. There is a bar by the beach. But there is not much choice. Mostly burgers, snacks, chips, nuts and dairy, alcoholic cocktails. That's just where you can pay with a card. Then only cash or transfer. And this is only with Wi-Fi. It is available throughout the territory. Mobile communication is very expensive for Russians. The advantages are cleanliness in everything and everywhere. The cleaning service works for five plus. Even the beach is being cleaned! Beautiful nature, the absence of dogs on the territory and unnecessary people. All inputs are on a magnetic key. But you can go through the abaat restaurant itself, knowing where to go. In general, we expected more comfort and understanding. Not Turkey. Prices are rising very much, but the service has remained local😄
We rested from 06/23/2012 to 07/01/2012. A wonderful, atmospheric place. The mountains approach the sea and this oasis hotel "Abaata" is comfortably located between them.
Michelin-starred chef Jean Aschner creates in the restaurant. Wonderful guys at the bar - David and Gudal. They prepare amazing cocktails, do it with great pleasure, and charge the guests with a good mood 👍🍹
The sea, nature, and even the clouds - everything was wonderful.
A wonderful hotel! The staff is always friendly, they tell and help everything, good room cleaning every day, and what great animators in the children's room👍👍👍The territory of the hotel is picturesque, you immediately fall in love. There is a restaurant, a tea house, a lobby bar on the territory of the hotel, it is delicious everywhere, but the tea house was especially pleased (a varied menu, friendly staff, good prices). Thanks to all the employees of the complex👍👍👍We will come to you again❤
I will not praise this place or I will not get there anymore :), everything is wonderful, the service, the staff, the territory is chic, it did not work out very well with the sauna, but we decided everything so there are no complaints, but there is no limit to perfection..

Great location, near the seaside park for walking. We drove a long way, happily left the car in the parking lot and moved on foot. Polite staff, quickly responded to requests. We rented a studio with a kitchen, lived with two children. Very convenient. Clean, used a laundress, gave children's clothes to the laundry. The next day we received them clean, 50% discount on children's clothes. Breakfast was included in the price, porridge/pancakes/omelette/drinks/pastries. Breakfast was designed for adults living in the room, in our case for two, but two children ate too much with us.
It was also convenient to come to the hotel on foot through the park after dinner at the Gagripsh restaurant. We also went on foot to see the skala sanatorium. I definitely recommend the hotel to stay.
Our favorite place! There is a teahouse, a restaurant, and a heated swimming pool on site. Convenient descent to the sea. Wi-Fi throughout, clean, cozy. There is parking for those who drive a car.
Everything is just great!
Its own territory, swimming pool, football field, beach and water transport rental!
The rooms are clean, the staff is polite! The eighteenth highest level!!!
The sea is nearby, clean! We rented a 2-room apartment with a kitchen on the 1st floor with a separate entrance. Wonderful! Cleaning is done regularly. Cafe nearby, very tasty khachapuri! I recommend it for those who like a relaxing holiday
A good hotel for decent money. Abaata is located at the beginning of the city of Haagra, beautiful and well-maintained territory, pleasant rooms.
Delicious breakfast in the hotel restaurant, 24-hour gym, heated swimming pool. There is a convenience store nearby.
There is a bar on the beach, sun beds, umbrellas and hammocks, everything is comfortable.
I didn't like it · 1) There is a very big problem with noise insulation in some buildings! We tried not to pay attention, but this is impossible, in the room in which we lived (103), literally every drain of water from the restroom of other rooms can be heard (this is due to the common riser in the building), i.e. at night you can wake up from the sound of water draining and be a little shocked.
2) If you do not hang the do not disturb icon on the room door, then the cleaner can come in with her key at the moment when you are in bed, it is not very convenient.
3) The hotel has 2 places to eat, a tea house and a restaurant. In both places, they can not cope with the load (if everything is booked at the hotel), then there are not enough waiters, you can wait a very long time for an order. The restaurant has better service and service.

The hotel is located in a very picturesque place in Gagra, Abkhazia. The hotel has its own parking, its own beach, two cafes, a large swimming pool and a mini zoo.
9 points out of 5, for the green area of the hotel, you will not find such a thing in Amr, Grand
Hotel, Amza...I don't want to offend them. Abaata is a combination of modernity and history, here you will not see the ghost of Stalin on a bench on a full moon.
Proper location of buildings. Room cleaning, towel change, cleanliness in the territory, all this is 5+.
Now about the sad part...Cougars in an aviary in 2023 are animal husbandry, feathered birds screaming like half-flies are tolerable. I haven't seen any rabbits. As a result, minus 1 point.
The arrangement of furniture in the room is something, for me it is a pain, so you can't use the space.
The cooler is on the 1st and 2nd floor, I live on the third.
The gym is a semi-functional exercise bike, the rest doesn't work. as a result, a minus point
Bedside sconces are a very poorly organized solution, they do not have ceiling lights, so if you want to wake up, just turn them on, one is enough.
The light in the bedroom is on at the entrance, tolerable, but off is very inconvenient. A pass-through switch? Nah, you haven't heard. As a result, minus 1 point.
Organization in the bathroom...there are not enough shelves, because we bring toothbrushes and shampoos...dentures (joke).
Abkhazian cuisine is very tasty, but requires an air freshener. As a result, a minus point.
Umbrellas on the beach are of two sizes, the domes are covered with bamboo branches. If you use the ones that are lower, then take care of your head. You can scratch it very badly! As a result, minus half
a point ...........
I'll give you 5+, but there is room to grow!
Thanks!
