There is a grill bar on site where you can eat and drink delicious drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.(this is included in the "All Inclusive" package). There is also a tent where Thai massage is done, but this is for an additional fee.(excellent massage).Of the advantages, perhaps everything.
Now about the cons. The room is not cleaned, even if you put up a sign saying "Cleaning is required". After the scandal at the reception, he comes to clean the room, but only the bathroom and the entrance to the room. The whole room is not cleaned, the balcony is covered with pebbles from the beach, and it has not been cleaned once during the whole week of rest. The bathroom supplies declared every day are given out only when you tell the cleaning lady about it. The towels have never been changed, without a scandal. The cleaner simply does not fulfill her direct duties. The service staff mostly do not even know the Russian language properly, and do not even want to hear what you are presenting to them and for what. The reception is just great, they are trying to fix the situation, but to no avail mostly.
The pool is not heated and you can swim in it only until 19-00, after that it is forbidden. The beach is far from the hotel. It's covered in fittings, no one even tries to remove them. Sun loungers on the beach are also available until 19-00. A beach worker approaches you and expels you from a chaise longue, saying that you want to lie on a chaise longue, come from 5-00 to 19-00.
As for nutrition. Pigeons and flies are flying in the dining room. They are not driven away by the canteen staff. The staff is all young, running around like children, fooling around. They don't clean the tables, you carry everything yourself, and they are also outraged that someone has not eaten something. We got poisoned there on the second day of rest and didn't eat there anymore. There is a bakery nearby, everything is delicious and accessible there. I do not recommend staying at this hotel. The rest is ruined, the money is thrown away.

The private beach is about 10 minutes on foot, the beach is small, pebbly and narrow. There is a beach closer than 5 minutes at least, but it is wild. Do not pay attention to the reviews about rotovirus in the hotel! It's not in a hotel, it's all over Abkhazia, like Sochi itself, and any other resort by the sea. Just wash my hands, fruits and vegetables, don't drink tap water. Do not swallow water in the pool or in the sea.

It is also not immediately clear how to get to the beach, which is from the hotel.There were not enough shelves and hooks in the shower for various accessories . We did not understand when where children's events are held, there are not enough large signs around the animators. And so, in principle, everything is fine, the territory is cleaned, a good dining room, good furniture. We'll come again.
This hotel turned out to be a mistake on our vacation. We had a vacation in Abkhazia for the 3rd time, so the magnificent sea and nature brightened up this negative. About everything in order:
1. As soon as we arrived, the water was turned off. Turned on for 15-20 minutes. You come from the sea, but you can't take a shower. Yes, there is a shower, no one has canceled the rotovirus, and there is no water in the toilet. It went on for a whole week. They don't solve any questions at the reception, they basically don't know the answers to them.
2. There is a clear problem with towels and bed linen in this hotel. Every day they came up and asked for towels, which were not initially given. This was repeated from day to day, we approached, made an application at the reception, said that they would bring it now, but.....no one brought anything. They dried themselves with a small foot towel... Although there are 3 towels included for each guest: large, medium and foot towels.According to the rules of the hotel, towels are changed after 4 days, and bed linen for 4-8 days on request and for 8 days is mandatory..Naturally, we did not wait for this.
3. The food is so-so. The first 3 days were still nothing, but then we went to cafes, because we didn't want to eat the same thing anymore. And also, when you're sitting at the table, and pigeons are flying over the plates, then you really want to get up and leave. Complete unsanitary conditions.We concluded: If Abkhazia, then not Europe with its 'all inclusive'

Bottom line: I do not advise anyone and I will never go again, I brought irritable bowel syndrome from there and will have to go to the hospital. So if you need extreme sports, then please come.
We had a rest in early September. The hotel itself is good, everything is clean and beautiful and our room on the 9th floor was excellent with a view of the pool and the sea, beauty. But the most negative thing is the dining room. On day 3, we got sick, I don't know if it was from salads, or from watermelons. The temperature is 39, diarrhea all night. I came to this hotel by accident, not by choice. Our Quiet harbor in Alakhadze, where the tour was bought, was not opened for the season and the tour operator settled us in Europe.

The management needs to work on the service, cleanliness and quality of cleaning and buy at least one good coffee machine where people, even for money, can drink good strong, delicious coffee.

We just returned from Abkhazia, stayed at the Europa Hotel for 5 nights. What I want to say is, despite the fact that the hotel is quite new, there are many disadvantages. There were no towels when checking in, there's some kind of problem with them. After that, they gave out, but not the whole set, the rest did not wait for all the days. The water in the pool is cloudy, with an unpleasant chemical smell (not chlorine). The beach is a 5-minute walk away, there are enough sun beds, there are very few umbrellas and they are in terrible condition, just a shame to the hotel for such umbrellas! The food in the dining room is monotonous, they cook well, but almost every day the same dishes. For several days there was only tea, in this heat you want something cooler. The cleaning in the rooms was also not very good, the button on the toilet was stuck, water was constantly flowing, condensation was gathering from this and there was water on the floor, a plumber was called, looked, but the problem was not fixed. There is no shelf in the shower, I had to put the shampoo directly on the floor. It would seem such trifles, but it is not convenient. But the most unpleasant thing for us is that after three nights of living, accidentally waking up at night, turning on the light, we found bedbugs in the room and bed. It was a shock! We immediately noticed the stains on the walls, we thought maybe the mosquitoes were crushed. As a result, we slept with the light on the last night. They voiced this situation to the maid, who just shrugged her shoulders. This is really the problem of the hotel! Now, upon arrival home, I review all my things, steamed my suitcase. I really hope that you have brought yourself such a gift. We will not return to this hotel anymore.

On the second day after arrival, they fell ill with rotavirus, everyone was sick, they thought that because of the pool, they swam once, but no, a week later they got sick again, after the first illness they excluded the pool and food in the local canteen, they rarely went only for lunch, to eat soup and broth, the food there leaves much to be desired, in the dining room is full of unsanitary conditions, dishes are not washed, leftovers remain on the plates, there is a constant shortage of cutlery, sparrows and pigeons fly in the dining room, there are a lot of staff in the dining room but there is little sense, the service is "0". The beach is private from the hotel, but it is not equipped, it is littered with concrete blocks and protruding fittings, there is a construction site nearby, sun beds and umbrellas are free of charge. Such a vacation was probably smoothed out only by excursions, the nature is really very interesting and beautiful. As a hotel, I do not recommend it, it is worth going on excursions.

We had a rest at the Europa Hotel at the end of July 2023. We had a Comfort room with a mountain view. The room is quite spacious, the bed is very large and comfortable. There is air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, safe. A baby cot was provided free of charge.

For such a price, the service is not justified. I would not have returned to this hotel for sure .

Then my son went to the pool in the evening and started vomiting again. I didn't talk to anyone, almost everyone was sick. Some, like us, several times. You have to ask back where the bus is going. There are several routes there. If you go from the hotel towards Georgia, there is a dolphinarium nearby. The sea is transparent. The beach is nice. The private beach is also good, but more for photo shoots. We visited a couple of times, sat at sunset. There is nowhere else to go. A red ship with a very talkative guide is approaching the beach. He often says "friends." It was highly recommended to take a ride with him. Just like a toastmaster. It is close and inexpensive to go to Stalin's dacha. 1000 rubles . Recommend. Like it. This is not our first time in Abkhazia, and we know well that the service is not about this country, but here it seems that the staff does not care about anything at all!
We checked into the room only on the third attempt: first they gave us the keys to the room where someone already lives, then they gave us a room of a lower class (we ordered a Suite), and only on the third time they checked in where they needed to, and then we had to find out through the maid that the room was vacant (for the administrator it was news).
The room itself is quite comfortable, but hygiene is "not up to par": there are yellow-brown spots on the mattresses (the origin is quite understandable, given that 80 percent of the guests catch rotavirus).

We came in company, with children. There were 7 of us, and only one adult escaped this scourge, because he immediately started drinking strong alcohol.
According to our assumptions, the main source is the pool, because while waiting for settlement, everyone swam in it, while immediately noticing that the "chemistry" somehow smells suspiciously, and some kind of greasy-greasy water ...
In general, I do not advise swimming in the pool.
Now about nutrition.
I will define the range and quality of dishes as follows: you will not stay hungry, but it is difficult to call half of what is offered food. For example, a dish such as stewed chicken stomachs may be a delicacy for some, but most of them are disgusting. But there are also simple dishes: fried chicken, boiled potatoes... In general, they did not starve to death, but they did not enjoy eating.
But the main problem of the dining room is the lack of dishes!!!
Every time I had to stand in line for glasses and teaspoons!
As a result, we had to carry it with us from the room, and periodically argue with the staff that we did not take it from the dining room, but brought it with us!
About the territory and animation.
The territory is large, quite well-groomed, but absolutely not thought out: almost all locations are in the open air. That is, in case of rain or scorching sun, you can only take shelter under the canopy of the so-called "Bar", where there are only 6 tables (for the entire hotel!!!).
Well, about the "bar" ...
Except as "sickening", this place can not be called!
They pour chacha (there are no complaints about it) and beer (you can drink it, but it is strongly diluted). From the food - inedible burgers (even the local dogs did not eat cutlets from these burgers!) and French fries (they are normal, it is difficult to spoil this dish).
There's also tea and cupcakes. They're fine.
But there is a claim to "musical accompaniment"!!!
There was a cheap Bluetooth speaker on the bar, from which the music that the employees liked sounded at maximum hoarse volume, and this, as a rule, was either "dzhigit rap" or something national.
In this regard, both the sound quality and the playlist in the pool area are much better.
Now about the advantages.
Right behind the fence of the hotel there is a good market, a shop, a pharmacy, and a good Turkish cafe with good cuisine and loyal prices. When it became unbearable to eat what "Europe" offers, we went there to eat.
On the adjacent territory, at the exit to the city, there is a quite decent bakery, unrelated to the hotel, where you can also have a snack.
The beach, like all beaches in Gagra, is pebbly, so it is uncomfortable to go into the sea without "coral" slippers.
7-10 minutes walk to the beach, there are changing rooms.
Excursion vessels of various sizes and formats periodically dock. The prices are quite reasonable: from 1000 to 2500, depending on the route and the duration of the walk.
Conclusion:
In general, you can live in this hotel, but you need to be prepared to eat, at least sometimes, not in the dining room.
To change the linen, you will have to "fight".
And do not expect entertainment on the territory from the word "at all"!
The best option is to rent a car (as we did), and use the hotel as a place to stay overnight, and sometimes to eat.

We stayed at the hotel in May 2023, the hotel is new, large, modern. In the style of Turkish hotels.
The location is excellent, near the market, two cafes with live music, the embankment (although it was under renovation).
The minus is the service, it is simply not in the hotel, it is impossible to stop by earlier, the shower does not work, there are two beds in the economy rooms, but one mattress for two, I asked to spread the beds, but they refused me. The windows promised panoramic, in fact they turned out to be not windows, but more vents, these are rooms on the second floor.
There is security at the hotel, outsiders are not allowed in, this is a plus.
There is a swimming pool, the temperature is 30 degrees, very pleasant.
In general, I rate the hotel as a solid 3.
I don't take off any races for flaws, because the amazing staff works here. I have watched several times how calmly and diplomatically they communicate with dissatisfied travelers.
A hotel with three meals a day (buffet) and a lobby bar. the dining room has a varied menu, everything is very tasty.
A cozy relaxation area near the pool, free sun beds, umbrellas. Clean and cozy. The heated pool, in which the cool water was only after a downpour. Funny animators for kids started working at 10 a.m. and until about 21 o'clock.
The rooms are lovely: with air conditioning, hairdryer, balcony, dryer, even a heater. A TV and a refrigerator are also available. The sink is too narrow, there really isn't much space for personal items. Daily the maid brought 2 shampoos, 2 gels and soap. Cleaning every day, towels and linen were not changed for 10 days.
Large private territory of the hotel. Many trees and roses have been planted. In a couple of years it will be even more beautiful here.
Good sound insulation - carpet is everywhere in the corridor and in the rooms.
I saw a kettle in the hallway only on the 4th floor.
There are no coolers, there is water on the ground floor (1.5 or 5 liters), but it is cheaper to buy five liters at the nearest grocery store. Although, in principle, there is free water in the dining room during work and in the barbecue area.
Since I had previously managed to read reviews on the Internet, the gastrointestinal tract was ready for some flaws in the room and surprises.
Of the unpleasant moments:
- the issue of linen and the quality of towels, two were given for two for hands and one for feet.... they are definitely far from snow-white and there are stains from poor-quality washing. The hotel staff explained that this problem is related to the organization that deals with laundry and delivery to hotels.
- in the barbecue area, meat dishes begin to be fried at 10 a.m., and they are served at 15 o'clock... I didn't see where it was stored in the heat, but I think that all complaints about rotavirus and the causes of mass poisoning in the hotel should be looked for here. Unfortunately, we also got hurt ((then we just didn't go here.
- the road to the hotel's own beach goes through construction sites, not far from the bathing area - drainage channels into the sea. Who was with the kids with a stroller is generally uncomfortable here: an inconvenient descent down the stairs. There is no toilet nearby, the changing room area is perfectly visible by the builders🤣 Therefore, we went to the pool more often, everything is clean and tidy there.
Despite some minor troubles, in general, we are very satisfied with our stay at the hotel. I am sure it will be better and more comfortable for vacationers here every year.

The reception is stuffy, few places, few staff, queues to specialists all the time, all the migrants from the unfinished building were stuffed into the hotel, the guys are clearly unable to shovel the whole mass of people to check in, and people have a lot of problems that no one else can help solve, there is no such service in the hotel
2. Swimming pool : we put a changing room. This is a plus, but there is no toilet and shower, because right from the beach with dirty feet, children jump into the water, the need is there too. Many adults behave the same way
3. Rooms: apparently the service company has changed, now there are residents of Central Asia who are completely not ready to work, they just live here, and we somehow interfere with them, at best they will take out the garbage,
4. Rotovirus: 90% have it, since the hotel does not monitor cleanliness, apparently we get it immediately with the room, there is no disinfection, as on July 1 there were vomit stains at the exit to the pool, so 10 are,
5. Dining room: pigeons and sparrows in the dining room- the limit of unsanitary conditions, repairs the hall at a crowded hotel indicates that we were not expected to prepare for the season, the dining room is crowded, people with dirty dishes, face those who carry food, the tables are not wiped, it would be more correct for the workers to prepare the table themselves, at least some kind of processing,
6. Territory: people have already written a hundred times about the need for a faucet to flush dirt from their feet at the entrance, wash dirty hands for children, because there are hoses for watering, is it really difficult to bring them to the edge of the lawn, large trees have not appeared, and large trees are planted in the city, in new hotels trees are planted 2 meters at once tall, and the bushes are below the knee, maybe in 20 years they will grow up
7. Beach: all hotels have prepared for the season, everyone had a storm, but only in Europe such a mockery of people, blocks of concrete, one-on-one sun beds, fittings sticking out everywhere, there is no passage to the Gagra embankment

We booked in advance, arrived with guests (we live in Sochi ourselves) and immediately got to dinner, and there in large letters in the dining room it says the Rotavirus epidemic and hand treatment before entering! We were shocked that we have an anniversary and we still have to travel all over Abkhazia. We got a room on the 10th floor and apparently these rooms are for children, because the height of the ceilings and the height of the doors are the same!!!I had to walk down the corridor crouching! And there is a persistent smell of sewage in the room, apparently because the extreme floors, and the room is hot, since the observation floor is on top and just the ceiling of the room is the floor of the 11th floor.It 's a terrible place and it 's a pity to waste time in an unknown place . And the stench in the room was just terrible from the sewer. And we just ran early in the morning and only returned to spend the night.
