The airport meets both the level of security and passenger care. All without fuss, there are information systems. I was at the airport with my friends for the second time and we really liked it!
It's a good airport, but all the main cafes and shops are already after the security zone.
The prices correspond to European ones: 0.5liters of water, for example, 3 euros.
There is a smoking room.
A large airport, lots of places with food and just benches where you can sit or take a nap. I advise you to go to Cesar's restaurant (on the ground floor near terminal 2) - very tasty pizza, there is a buffet, normal prices.
Everything is fine. There is a place to eat and relax before departure. That's just spoiling the impression of the impossibility of self-registration for our Aeroflot flights. And as usual, Aeroflot takes off from the farthest exits...
The airport is huge.It takes about 1 hour to walk from one end to the other. There are no traversers. So plan your time if there is a transfer at this airport.A huge number of duty-free shops.Expensive cafes and restaurants😕There are places to relax and wait.
I have been flying through Helsinki for more than three years. I have never seen a more compact and understandable (logical) airport. The Finns are doing well, they are reconstructing something again, constantly improving something so that it is simple and convenient for passengers. There are several parking lots for cars, payment is intuitive (there is no Russian language, only English). We check in for flights at an electronic construction site, where you can also check in your luggage (there is a Russian language). Aircraft departures are usually on time, and if they are delayed for 10-20 minutes, they are definitely warned, that's how they take care of the client! And even if the flight was delayed, then arrival at the destination is always on time! I recommend.
A very Finnish-designed airport, but it's better not to forget anything at the entrance: it's a long time from Gate to Passport control and also- currently the airport building is being reconstructed, so there is a small house
I want to say a big thank you to all the airport staff!!!
Wonderful people, responsive!!
Special thanks to Tatiana from the parking information desk!!!!!! Well done fins!!!!

There is a large airport, trains from the central station go there often. The cost is slightly more than 4 euros.
There are very principled people at the inspection: you need to wrap every charge (not only a phone, laptop, etc.), each bottle in a separate bag. And only then will they let you through. Before that, your stuff will be going back and forth through the frame. I haven't seen this anywhere else)
A small, cozy airport. Convenient transfer to the city center. 30 minutes by electric train in total. You can only sit in a cafe before the clean zone.
Pleasant airport, pretty clear navigation. Lots of cafes, the prices really bite. Of the significant disadvantages, everything is closed at night, it is inconvenient for a night transfer.
Quiet, calm, clean and sparsely populated.
Birds are chirping in the toilets... There are plenty of places to charge phones, there is even a place to lie down.
It's cool. The airport is large, there are many different cafes, bars, shops. If you want, sleep anywhere, if you want to drink, if you want to be outraged by civilizational Europe, which sleeps anywhere. And airport navigation is simple.
The airport is comfortable, there is free Wi-fi, the security system is organized at a high level. There are no queues, there are many catering outlets.
The airport itself:
+ nice, beautiful, comfortable.
- there are few charging racks, it takes a long time to move through the halls to the departure area (you can take the experience of a Turkmen airport with a horizontal escalator)
Based on the pros and cons of 4 stars.
Have a good flight and a soft landing to everyone👍
Better than in St. Petersburg!!! And 2 times cheaper!!! Book a parking space in advance, the price is reasonable! Convenient registration! Great Duty Free! After the repair it will be super!!!
A simple, convenient, spacious airport with the letter "g", shops, coffee shops everywhere, you can smoke in special areas without leaving the building) There are signs in Russian too, although the staff speaks English. It will not work to get lost, everything is elementary and straight for people))
Clear, compact, hard to get lost. It's funny that in Finnair magazines, not all letter exits are indicated on the airport diagram, only numbers. But you come to exit 20 and here he is 20A next))
Airport terminal 1,2 is not large, but comfortable. We waited for the flight for 5 hours, the time passed quickly, we were kindly helped to register at the vending machines, the control was quick, easy, comfortable, everything is clear and calm!
We were in transit from Paris. There were 20 minutes between flights due to the plane being late. The services worked quickly, so they managed to get on the plane to St. Petersburg. But the luggage had to be received only the next day. But on the whole it's not bad.
I was doing a transfer here from Moscow to London and back. Everything is done outrageously simply, it is impossible to get lost. If this is a transfer, then the transfer gates are located within a 5-minute walk. Wi-Fi is working. If the flight was delayed due to the carrier and you did not have time for your second flight, there will be no problems, you will immediately be offered the nearest one. I was flying Finnair
Clean, comfortable, convenient and understandable. I went in, printed out my boarding pass in the vending machine, scanned the barcode when boarding the plane, as a result, I never had to communicate with anyone, no one needs to show my passport
Excellent clean and comfortable airport, much better than the French Charles de Gaulle
Excellent smoking rooms with amazing hoods in Moscow, you can only dream about this so far
Everything was fine with you until the movers went on strike on the way back. The plane was postponed for 6 hours and as a result we arrived in Moscow without luggage, which we learned about at Sheremetyevo. The luggage was brought to the house only after 6 days.
I flew from Helsinki to Moscow. At the reception, everything is set to extort money. They held me for 40 minutes. First they say that the baggage has not been paid for. I announced the ticket and receipts. They say the car showed. Then, you are overweight. I say I have over 500 grams. When rounding, it goes downwards. They agreed. And finally, you have a mistake in the name. My name is Segrey in the passport Sergey, they have Sergei. Sergei's ticket also has a patronymic. I never write my middle name because it is not in my passport. I remembered that we flew to Italy with the children for the first time in the summer, and there was a requirement to enter the patronymic. This time, when buying a ticket, the machine automatically identified me according to the previous filling, and the transfer was performed automatically. As a result, an error occurred in the name. They charged 10 €. It's useless to prove it. The conversation was like I was talking to a car. Answer: do not pay, do not fly. Now I do not know how to fix the existing error, because in the future the error will fall out and every time I have to pay 10€.
There's nothing to do at night, even business, even economy. There are no souls in the lobby, everything works automatically, there is no one to ask. A good airport, but only from 6 a.m.
Easy navigation. There is an airport application that, when connected to a local WiFi, writes as much as the approximate time to the desired gate.
The power supply inside is not special. The restaurants are finite, but the food is too simple. But there is a stand with delicious hot dogs.
