Terrible steep stairs from the tracks to the passage to the station building and into the city. There is no way for a person with sore legs and things to get up on the elevator. Navigation is uninformative. But very friendly and polite co-workers of the luggage rooms and taxi drivers.

In general, the station is comfortable and very beautiful. Since there is also a bus station nearby (literally two steps away), it is naturally very crowded and hectic.
Meals while waiting inside the station itself will be quite expensive, but in general this is not a problem, since there are a lot of places nearby where you can have a snack.
Toilets certainly leave much to be desired, perhaps this is the only disadvantage.
You can also enjoy walking around, the warhead sign itself is very beautifully decorated, you can sit in the fresh air and relax in a carriage under the roof (especially important in the rain), in a train or a typewriter, and of course take photos.
Every time I come to Vitebsk, I bring myself a new magnet.

Excellent train station and excellent passenger service! I came to Vitebsk for treatment, I needed to stay somewhere. The apartments are expensive, I stayed in the rest room at the train station. Perfectly! The room has a shower, toilet, small refrigerator, cozy and clean. Friendly staff! The station chief is a very nice woman, she helped me get settled, and with tickets. In half a year I plan to visit this city again-I will only stay there! Thanks!!

Every year I come to Vitebsk to visit my parents from Grodno. I've been doing this for over 25 years. I come by train to the station and always hope that this time the train will be served on the first track. But in all these years, my dream has never come true. We have to trudge across the slippery cold crossing bridge, automatically glancing at the first path and once again making sure that it is currently free. Now the father is dead, one old mother remains, and the train continues to arrive on the 8th track... And so what can I say: the station is beautiful, but somehow official and not hospitable. I am also leaving on the 8th way, but with joy and still with some hope.

The building is beautiful, but the conditions for passengers leave much to be desired (Waiting room on the 2nd floor with metal seats. The elevator is only for people with disabilities, everyone else is pulling their suitcases up the stairs. It's the same with access to platforms (stairs everywhere). I don't know why there are floors above the ground floor in the building, for elevators, probably.
