The building is beautiful. And inside the building it is dark, gloomy, dark corners. I did not expect this from one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Almaty. (I'm not a local myself, I was visiting here on vacation)

For greater convenience of passenger service, at the station, the management would do well to put ATMs to cash out money, so as not to run to the next building for it. Since cash desks often ask for cash.
This station is a manifestation of disrespect to both the residents of their city and the guests. The night transfer of 5 hours seemed unbearable torture! The hotel is on the 2nd floor without an elevator, closed at night, toilets are worse than on the streets, it is impossible to charge the phone, 1 minute of charging costs 10 tenge in a cafe that is open from 10 a.m. A terrible dirty dark place. You can't stay here for more than 10 minutes.
An uncomfortable peron. To get to the station, you need to go around through the suspension bridge, and it is very difficult to carry things along paths that are not cleaned from snow. The entrance and exit to the station building is disorganized - taxi drivers and traders pass through the emergency aisles, while passengers are sent through the security checkpoint. The taxi stop is also poorly organized
As everything was gloomy and dreary, nothing has changed... It's cramped and dirty... a feeling of Soviet hopelessness... It can add lighting, enhance brightness, wash glasses, etc..
The crossing bridge is terrible, in order to pass through the station you always need to take your bag for inspection , it 's easier to bypass this station.
A good train station- waiting rooms, 24-hour luggage storage, dining room, currency exchange offices. If you have just arrived, you can go to the office nearby and purchase an Onei transport card.
The service is terrible, the cashiers are rude, uncultured, the air conditioners do not work in the waiting room (from the word at all)
The help desk responds every other time and through "I don't want to", could not get more detailed information
It is good that the historical appearance of the station has been preserved.
The station is not large in size, it is clean enough, there are not many seats.
It is convenient that there is this second station, from which it is shorter to get to the city center.
There are movers' services.
It's good that there is a parking lot nearby that is not expensive with a lot of places.
For drivers, be careful there is often a tow truck working there, so do not leave the car under prohibited signs.
When a modern train station is already being built. I rarely go there. I was not long ago and was shocked that everything was so sad. People walk across the tracks. The bridge is old and without a roof.
The taxi stops near the entrance to the train station. It is located in the city center. Hot tea with sugar is offered free of charge in the waiting room.
The dining room is very bad, the food is very tasteless. Do not go there from the road (to the dining room), so as not to spoil the impression of the beautiful Almaty ..)))) The toilet is free, but very dirty. (Maybe a paid one is better than this one).
There is Parking, there is a toilet inside, although it is paid, small buffets for snacks, storage rooms, there are many queues at the ticket offices as such, there are 2 adequate people there
Maintenance of personnel at height, infrastructure projects of the station itself take place, there is no passage of wheeled vehicles (strollers, suitcases, etc.) space repairs are required inside and outside, etc
It is inconvenient, there is no public transport coming from Tashkent directly to the train station. The building is old, could have been repaired, the seats are broken, the prices for public catering are overstated.Cash register from KTZ, One or two, a constant queue.
Everything is just as dead as it was under the union.. there is no development and conditions, I want to get on the train right away rather than sit in the waiting room
There is no parking) The toilet certainly leaves much to be desired. The staff is friendly. There are no queues. It's time to repair the plateaus, as well as the pedestrian bridge.
The parking lot is small, but there is enough for a small stream of people. There are no queues, it's quiet. The dining room and shops are like everywhere else. I've been there twice, I liked it. There is no fuss.
Cleanly, the staff and the polite police suggested what and how, but with taxi drivers who take you right off the car and try to put you in the car first and then take the price to the sky, of course it sucks completely
Small, old.
The help desk could not tell you how to get to the airport.
There is a dining room, a free toilet.
There is no wi-fi and no serviceability.
By the way, you can get to the airport by bus # 92, for 150 tenge
The train station is like a train station. It is located in the city center. It is better to come here, not to Almaty-1. There will most likely be problems with parking. Repair apparently has not been done for a long time.

I am very ashamed of station 1.2, it is very bad for Almaty. No matter how many times they repair it, they still cannot make it convenient and functional. The toilets are paid and clean, but you can do even better. The staff is polite.

The train did not arrive at the first platform. I had to go out into the city by a steep, broken staircase, and I had to carry a heavy bag on myself, since there were no elevators or ramps along which it could be rolled
Problems with the parking lot, a tired building, Peron in a deplorable state, eternal queues at the ticket office, the information bureau is not aware of events, then there is no one there
An old, tired train station. Extremely formal baggage check at the entrance, metal frame. It works for everyone, the staff doesn't care. One thing pleases me - the ticket dealers have disappeared from the entrance))
