Today the whole family visited the cafe "Cornflowers".
The parents (pensioners) wanted to go out somewhere to sit in the city. I suggested your cafe. I was here for the last time about 5 years ago (I live in another city now).
To be honest, nothing has changed in 5 years. Well, if only it got better. Everything is at the highest level: food, serving, service, attentive waiters and the administrator. We needed a table for 6 people. There was a queue at the entrance. And it's understandable why people are willing to queue up to get here! The girl politely asked to wait for a table to be available. Our waiter Abrazhevich Maxim (I'm sorry if the last name is spelled incorrectly!) is just a laaaaapochka. A professional in his field!!! Very attentive, nice and polite.
The parents were very pleased and even decided to take it as a tradition to gather at your place. Good luck to you, good visitors and thank you for a wonderful evening!

The restaurant was good, the service was terrible, the sockets were turned off for some reason, there was no way to charge the phone, you waited for any drink and dish for 25-30 minutes, and the waiters for another 15 minutes. Cornflowers in the shopping center next to the train station is the most lame cafe I've been to lately. We were very poorly served. They did not have ice, respectively, they could not make half of the drinks (they went with the mood to drink cold drinks). In addition, they could remove ads with a selection of seasonal lemonades from the table, since they can't make them anyway.
They couldn't put us in properly, although we went in and warned that in three hours we would come with suitcases and a disabled person, that we needed a comfortable place.
The staff / kitchen simply does not have time to serve half of the landing, so there are kilometer-long queues from all entrances, which mix with each other and are very actively in conflict.
The waiters are unable to serve dishes to all the guests at the table at once. The soup was brought to one person, the others sat looking at each other while the soup was cooling, although we asked to serve everything at once. The waitress rolled her eyes at additional questions about the dishes, clucked while choosing a drink from what they can provide on Sunday in the middle of the day.
They brought a cold mix of dumplings and dumplings with potatoes. There were bones in a dish with dumplings with cherries. The waitress again rolled her eyes and explained that they did not sort through the semi-finished products, as they brought, so they brought.
Thus, the receipt was not at all budget-friendly for such an entourage and service.
If it is possible to choose another place for the meal, do it.
And another mega important thing: do not take cream sauce for pancakes, make a choice in favor of sour cream, it is definitely tastier.

Unfortunately...My favorite Cornflowers upset me ...there was a transfer from the train to the train station in Minsk...I had 40 minutes at my disposal for breakfast...I ordered oatmeal with banana from the breakfast menu.... I had to quickly ask them to pack everything with me, since they didn't have time to feed me in 35 minutes...I didn't see any sugar or banana there....unfortunately...a pleasant and delicious breakfast, as well as the beginning of the day, was spoiled...I'm already choking on a tasteless breakfast on the train...

I really wanted to add a separate sign for the waiters, if someone is in a hurry, for example, to catch a train or bus and went to eat. cooking time is from 20 minutes. I waited for the waiter for almost 15 minutes, as a result, this time was critical and the dish would not have had time to prepare for departure. and this time, in such a case, I could spend on taking food with me somewhere. I used to stop and eat here, everything was on time.

It is open from 10.00. From 10.00 to 11.00, you can only order breakfast. That's it! It's not written anywhere! The waiter did not warn us in advance, we had already made an order, but we had to change everything, and this is the time, considering that we were from the train and hungry. Initially, dirty glasses were brought (changed) and one of the breakfasts (sandwich) was cold (I had to ask to warm it) . In general, it's a pleasure.

I put 2 stars only for a table by the window with a beautiful view. We just came to have coffee at 23:00, I understand that the waiters are tired, but the service is zero, they waited a long time for the menu, the waiter Alexey saw us, decided to ignore us, went to talk to the girls)) A pleasant-looking girl served, but for some reason decided not to carry sugar and a spoon with coffee and tea. The table was not wiped, there were leftovers, sticky stains, napkins that should be clean, were dirty, cinnamon was scattered.

My young and beloved wife, unlike me (but of course I rarely eat in restaurants and therefore for me their prices are something very expensive ..) liked everything! We visited 3 of the entire network of these Minsk national restaurants (in the shopping center Skala, on Lenin Street and at the Train Station with windows on the hotel and towers). National flavor, cast iron plates, delicious and varied national dishes and most importantly a large number of young people who very quickly and kindly serve a very large number of visitors (especially in the city center). But one thing I have learned very clearly is that the way my beloved wife feeds me at home is practically (in density, richness and taste) equivalent to the best menu of Minsk national restaurants. From the homemade borscht I cooked, I will be able to get a wonderful national hodgepodge for a lot of money within 2 minutes (adding 2 slices of lemon, 2 olives and a finely chopped piece of half-smoked sausage lying in the refrigerator).. And I will try to keep silent about the pancakes, although I could not deny myself the pleasure of tasting this national dish in his homeland.
In general, we really liked everything from the forks and spoons of the Tramontino brand to the homemade bread kvass.

Every time we come to Minsk on a business trip, we have breakfast in Cornflowers, beautiful view from the window, good breakfasts, convenient location. But the last time we came at 11:00 and waited for our order until 11:50, we left hungry and angry. We were also late for work. The waiter is hibernating, did not warn that you need to wait a long time, after 35 minutes he said that another 3 minutes and the order would be delivered, 15 minutes passed and then he says "Another 10 minutes you need to wait." And this is not about the main dishes of beef, for example, which take a long time to cook, but about pancakes.
Now I will think 10,000 times to come to this institution.

We arrived with a friend in Minsk on 07/19/24, got off the train and decided to have a snack in Cornflowers at the Galileo shopping center, last time I was at this restaurant in 2016.I didn't like the food, the soup was brought cold, there was terribly salty bacon on top of the pancakes and cepilines, in the salad with chicken breast, the chicken was terribly dry, the pear lemonade on the morse was very sweet, the waiters were tortured and uninitiative,the flow of people is large, even the tables don't have time to wipe, you have to ask.The impression remained bad and the mood was also spoiled.

To be in Minsk and not visit the "Cornflowers" means that you have not been to Minsk! An amazing network with national cuisine!!! Believe me, it's very tasty! We tried, please, half the menu in four days, without repeating ourselves! The portions are large, enough to eat. Match the photos in the menu. The pitch is great! Prices are average, but lower than in Moscow time. Very tasty coffee and desserts. Hot dishes and entrees are on top!!! Service: the waiters are polite and attentive, in national costumes, they know the menu and the composition of the dishes well, they are ready to recommend or offer an alternative. Payment: cash in Belarusian rubles, cashless using MIR RF cards.

This is the lame restaurant at this address! The worst of all that there is in the city! It all started with the fact that we asked for a table by the window. It was kindly provided to us, and after half an hour the pizza Tempo waiter asked three times why we sat down at that table - it turns out it was a pizza Tempo table, and they couldn't seat us at it. This is one time. Secondly, we waited for the dishes to be served for forty minutes on Monday at 12 o'clock. It would have been fine, but all the food was cold. This is our first time in Belarus, we found a popular Cornflower chain and decided to have dinner there. I ordered cabbage soup with rolls with cheese and garlic, and my friend ordered a salad with tuna and potatoes. So the cabbage soup turned out to be so sour that it tickles in the throat, plus the meat was with skin on the bone, it was very uncomfortable to eat it, almost half of the meat remained in the soup.
My friend's potatoes were bland, without seasonings, and very tasteless tuna, all appetite disappeared after it.
The receptionist came up to us, we explained the situation to her, she passed the comments to the kitchen and offered to replace the salad with the SAME one, left and did not return.
We couldn't wait long, so we asked for the bill.
Initially, I said that I would pay for cabbage soup, I ate it all, eating sour bread.
But my friend almost didn't touch the salad, the institution included it in the bill, I had to pay.
Customer orientation, the quality of the dishes leaves much to be desired.
