We came to taste Belarusian cuisine and did not regret it. Kholodnik, draniki with different sauces - everything is very tasty, fast serving, despite the full landing, the prices are pleasant. Near the train station, it is very convenient to eat before or after the train.

The breathtaking panoramic view of the city, the majestic buildings of the Stalinist Empire creates a special atmosphere in this restaurant. It's nice to sit enjoying a great unfiltered beer and watch the evening fall on the city, the sky turns blue, the shadows get longer and longer, and then the lights of the buildings light up..
Just for the sake of it, it is worth coming to these Cornflowers. A lot has been written about food - traditional Belarusian cuisine in excellent execution and spectacular presentation..
The undoubted advantage is the prices. Dinner, even with excesses, will not hit your pocket..
One small remark , but this is not for Cornflowers, but for their landlord, the shopping center: wash the windows more often. I understand that the work of a climber is expensive, but such windows must always be flawless, otherwise why are they needed..
I recommend it and give it the highest score.
I'll be in Minsk, I'll come back..

Very good menu, cafe, atmosphere, fast service, pleasant staff. The girl served, we don't remember her name, but she was very pleasant. This is May 2024.
The check, however, came out at 54 rubles (almost 1,500 Russian rubles), which I see as expensive. I took off a star for that. As for the cherry pie with pear lemonade, it wasn't very tasty.

Delicious pancakes, we took two types and ate so much that we couldn't even eat a cherry pie.

I had a rest during the New Year holidays, I estimate by the price level, which is not lower than ours in St. Petersburg at online food outlets. 1-tasteless, barely warm, unappetizing service, 2-guests are not welcomed, seating arrangements are not coordinated, I gave 3 points for the view from the window and a very polite waiter. But he looked exhausted, and his eyes were sad.

Average, to be honest. We were in Cornflowers in the shopping center next to the train station, it was Saturday evening, of course, very busy. Unfortunately, the service, as in many places in Minsk, is not intrusive. It's a little dirty. We were sitting with a view of the gate, the view was spoiled by a thick layer of dust on the windowsill. A very tasty salad with a tongue, but the tinctures were drunk and tastier. There is a chicken in the photo and it is generally edible :)

We came to Minsk with an irresistible desire to visit Cornflowers. We were very glad that this place is near the train station. But the level of service overshadowed both the beautiful location and delicious authentic Belarusian dishes. The waiter Kirill was just rude, ignored
(dirty dishes were not cleaned for 15 minutes, they waited 20 minutes to make an order, they cooked pancakes for 45 minutes). In addition, they served a smaller number of devices, they made a mistake in the order 2 times (they did not bring what they ordered) . We spent more than an hour just waiting. We visited Cornflowers for the second time already on ave. Independence, everything was fine there!

Cornflowers are my love in Minsk. Large portions, delicious pancakes with various variations, great beer. Not all of them have pleasant service, but this is not critical. An average check, which sometimes even surprised me. You can charge more for such food!

Vaselki!!!!! I don't know why, but I love them here. Of the 4 restaurants "Vaselka" where we visited.
The Galileo shopping center is the best.
A particularly cool view from the window of the Minsk Gate.
It is clear that the waiters and the kitchen have a heavy load due to the proximity to the train station, but, as it seemed to us, this does not affect the quality of services and dishes.
There was a situation when we were refused cocktails due to the lack of ice, but as soon as the ice appeared, we were immediately let know about it, which is surprising, given the workload on the staff.
So, in the end, we all got everything we needed.

I don't really like such places, because I want something special outside the house. But while waiting for their train, they decided to try it. I really wanted something from the first one. 4 soups to choose from. 2 of them with mushrooms are not mine. Cabbage soup and borscht with rib. I took borscht. It tastes very good, a huge piece of meat on the rib, but the borscht is only slightly warm. And it was cold outside and I wanted something hot. Then I took the draniki and shamrocks with an apple, and my husband cutlet in Kiev. The pancakes are very greasy, too! Toasted on only one side, clearly planted in a cold frying pan! I couldn't handle it. The leaves are delicious, but the two are completely different in execution! One is made very well. There is a lot of filling, the apples are cooked properly. And there was clearly not enough filling for the second one. The green tea is good. The Kiev cutlet is of good quality, but it is not a Kiev cutlet, but a fillet in breadcrumbs with butter). But it's delicious. There are no complaints about the service! The girl is sweet, polite. I quickly accepted the order, asked how to bring everything and quickly brought everything)! The tables are clean, and so are the appliances. Thanks to the kitchen and the service.

A very cool place was chosen for the first breakfast in Minsk. We waited for the official for ~ 15 minutes (for some reason everyone is standing at the counter , but God forbid there is one person in the hall), the order is 40 minutes.While we were eating, we noticed that a COCKROACH was crawling on the wooden wall, ala teremok.After we received our order, which included tomatoes and bacon, we were stunned....The tomato in one of the plates was frankly a dorble, and absolutely not presentable.Bacon is just lard with 0 meat in it.To try to taste this miracle, it just hit hard in the teeth, and after that I didn't even want to try to use it any further. It seems that this is the only Cornflower that is completely out of touch with the rest of the establishments in this franchise.

We tried the pancakes, as it should be, but they were too greasy and bland, for my taste, I took them with a machanka-not interesting, in general, not interesting, the companion was pancakes with beef goulash, goulash was good and tinctures, I liked raspberry. I give three stars only for the fact that one dish was cooked well, and for the service of the administrator. The second was half cooked, the string beans were not fully cooked, the tomatoes were cut just terribly, just a huge tomato was cut in half, the white core that occupies half of the tomato was not even removed. The vodka glasses are dirty, smudges just from all sides, as if they hadn't washed it.
The beer glass is cracked in half. They noticed when they were drinking, but there could be fragments in the glass. But to say thank you to the administrator of this institution, she apologized and offered free drinks.

We, as guests of the city, were praised by Cornflowers, they said - we must definitely try it. We decided to choose this location for tasting. There are no hostesses in the establishment, you choose the place yourself, which is strange, because the waiters don't even keep track of who comes and who goes. To get the menu, the waiter was caught between the tables. The order was never accepted from us, they waited 15-20 minutes and left disappointed. I do not know on what days and at what time you need to come to be served, but we apparently did not get into this timing.

To visit Minsk and not check in at the Cornflower restaurant queue is like not being in Belarus, since the institution is next to the train station and there was time available. We ordered a table and several dishes from the menu for a certain time. Everything was covered. The hot dish was brought in 5 minutes. Everything is fine. Fast service and cooking. All orders are additional.the BDUs, including hot ones, were ready in 5-7 minutes. Good prices, except for alcoholic beverages (2.5 times margin). Polite waiters. Great view from the tables near the window. Especially on the evening Forecourt.

We have always adored this national cuisine chain, but this time there was a strong disappointment.
1. It is very difficult to find a place, but after you have sat down, you wait for enough time until the menu is brought to you.
2. I do not know how it happened, but we came to the next table at the same time, while we were looking at the menu, he had already made an order and it had already been brought to him, we called the waiter several times to take our order, the man at the next table was already paying.
3. Delicious dishes: borscht and solyanka, but the dishes were brought cool, the salad bed is at the highest level.
4. Pancakes with red fish are disgusting, the portion consisted of three small pieces of fish, and three huge pancakes - which were made as if from bitter potatoes, it was impossible to eat, the waiter took the dish away, usually either this dish is not included in the bill, or a replacement is offered, here they just silently included in the bill and no comments were given on this issue.
