Great cuisine! All dishes are served with fervor, with heat. The meat dishes are cooked perfectly, the Belarusian bulba pancakes are excellent, however, as is the baked bulba itself. The borscht tasted average, the serving was not bad, the cheeks with mashed potatoes were strangely scattered over individual muscle fibers, as if they had been warmed up for the first time, a very strange serving, a vegetable salad with the volume and quality of vegetables at the level of the dining room. After the end of the city tour, it was already evening and we decided to have dinner at the recommended restaurant of folk cuisine "Cornflowers" on Moskovsky Prospekt. We came to the restaurant around 20-00, where there was a queue for approximately 1 hour of waiting. We wanted to leave, but suddenly they offered us a table under the air conditioner – which we agreed to and did not regret it.
The waiter politely asked about the order, said that he would bring the drinks immediately, and the dishes would have to wait about 40 minutes.
We ordered pancakes with mushrooms, assorted dumplings, assorted sausages, drinks, ice cream.
Dinner went well.

The waiting time was very frustrating.
It took 40 minutes from the moment of ordering to the delivery of the dishes.
First, the dish was brought to the first guest, three are sitting...then after 20 minutes to the second guest, the rest are sitting...
there were four of us.
As a result, after 40 minutes of waiting, it was possible to have lunch.
Therefore, I give 3 stars.

I have been visiting this restaurant in Vitebsk for nine years. There are always a lot of people, and on weekends you need to book places in advance.The kitchen is always on top. And the refrigerator is generally incomparable (for my taste). The prices, of course, are high, but what can you do?, they are made from good products. Recommend 👍

On July 19, 2024, on the first day of our stay in Belarus, we decided to visit this institution and enjoy traditional Belarusian cuisine. But, unfortunately, our waiter was Marina Zemtsova (or Marina), who clearly does not know how to communicate with people from the word at all. Firstly, when she sat us down at the table, she did not warn us that the most popular dishes, for example, potato baba, were already over. As a result, after 20 minutes of waiting and trying to draw her attention to us, it turned out that three of the five selected dishes were no longer available. Very professional of her.
Secondly, after some of the dishes were brought to us and we just decided to find out when the rest would be brought, we were answered: "I do not know, I do not have 10 hands." Please note, this was our only question to the waiter during our entire stay at the establishment.
And thirdly, apparently at parting, all the dishes were just thrown at us, and not put on the table.
It is a pity that because of one person who is dissatisfied with his work, the impression of ce and establishments among visitors deteriorates.
I don't know if the management of this institution reads these reviews, but I really hope that they will have a conversation with M. Zemtsova.

A very good online establishment. Excellent menu, delicious food, fast delivery. National decoration, BEAUTIFUL music. Including the national one. The atmosphere is sooo cozy. We had dinner and breakfast with the same waiter. Maxim's work is beyond praise: polite, dignified, courteous and caring. But caring and being treated with DIGNITY. THANK YOU, Maxim. I did not expect to write a negative review about this restaurant, one of my favorite in Belarus.
I arrived in Vitebsk and the first thing to eat was offered a table next to the counter where various drinks are prepared. Next, I observe a picture: employee Vlad, when preparing drinks, sips (!) from a tube of a ready-made drink, apparently tries, well, let's say, does not throw it away (!) - does not change it to a new one for cafe guests, but leaves the one from which he drank. And then the waitress girls take this case to the hall for submission. It's a pity that I couldn't capture it on video, but since my table was point-blank to the counter, I watched this picture all the time I was in this restaurant. The peak of my indignation was that this employee was COUGHING. He coughed, drank from the pipes, did not change them, and it was carried into the hall!!! This is a complete shock, gentlemen! I called the Head of the restaurant, informed her about what I had seen, she was so shocked that she immediately began to tell me that this was impossible, the employee had been working for 10 years and had never done this and would not do it. But still, the Head went to deal with the employee, after which he came to us with words like "well, what happened, well, yes, we do that, but we throw it away."Damn, man, you're not throwing anything away. After I told him that he was violating the sanpins, he replied, "you are right, of course, this is your opinion" and left...a curtain. It's just an abomination.
Well, the food was delicious.

It took a long time to choose an institution for dinner for our weekend in Vitebsk.
We chose the "Cornflowers "
And....did not lose.
Friendly staff. We came for a couple of days and didn't book a table. They went to a meeting and sat us down in about 5 minutes
The portions are large and very tasty.
The draniki are simply amazing👌

We drove by with friends from Pskov on motorcycles, decided to go through Belarus and have lunch at the same time.
According to the old tradition, we dropped into Cornflowers, a network I know and know from traveling around Belarus.
But Cornflowers in Vitebsk are a disaster. The service is not that long, but incredibly long. For 5 people, soup and a second for each, more than an hour and a half was spent waiting. It's like walking into a Michelin-starred restaurant.
They carry the menu for a long time, take an order for a long time, cook for a long time, prepare a receipt for a long time. You can't do that, comrades, definitely not at the present time!

An authentic cafe of Belarusian cuisine. The menu is beautifully designed.
Incredibly delicious borscht, "lemon chicken" was also liked. A large selection of pancakes: they took it with salmon and cheese sauce - I didn't really like this dish, the sauce looks like ordinary mayonnaise, and there's not enough fish for one pancake.
The fruit tea was delicious and rich.
