A great place with national cuisine! This is the first time in Belarus, but obviously not the last time! I liked the Vitebsk "Cornflowers" more than in Minsk, more atmospheric and more homely. The food, of course, is not the most dietary, but you have to pamper yourself with delicious pancakes and machanka sometime)) Cool native Soviet music, friendly staff, tuteishnoe beer made my day))

We didn't get to go to this place this year. There is no table reservation, there is a long queue waiting for the table, and then cooking for 50 minutes. You probably need to come full right away in order to get hungry before your turn comes.
We tried to go to Cornflowers in Vitebsk several times. The picture is the same. We went to Minsk!!!

The quality of the food does not match the Cornflower network - it is worse. Sloppy serving (sauces seem to be eaten). We also ordered ribs that did not match the quality even in appearance. The taste turned out to be tough and with a bad film layer. At the same time, as it turned out, there was a change of supplier and therefore such a low quality. The ribs were already ordered before us and returned the same way. It is not clear why the waiter did not warn against ordering, but in the kitchen they missed such a return. The waiter was ready to refuse and immediately offered a 10% discount to the order.

I really liked the Cornflowers restaurant, we were there as tourists))) We visited our relatives and came here more than once!! the food is delicious, hot, homemade, but there are some questions:
1. Fried mozzarella with sweet and spicy sauce - perhaps it is worth putting the sauce separately so that it does not heat up while it is being transported?
2. Dumplings with potatoes baked with mushroom sauce do not look at all like in your photo on the website. Where's the chopped bacon and herbs? we undercooked the dumplings a little and put slices of bacon, it's not very pleasant when you expect something else.

Очень хорошее сетевое заведение. Прекрасное меню, вкусно готовят, быстрая подача. Национальное оформление, ПРЕКРАСНАЯ музыка. В том числе и национальная. Обстановка ооочень уютная. Ужинать и завтракали с одним официантом. Работа Максима вне всяческих похвал: вежливо, с достоинством, обходительно и заботливо. Но забота и обхождение именно с ДОСТОИНСТВОМ. СПАСИБО, Максим. Well, in general, it's not bad. It's better to book a table on Saturday, you won't get there in the evening. The cuisine is national, the pancakes are excellent. The meat was a little disappointing. Beef is fresh, without salt and spices, pork neck with veins, chew for a long time. The feed is fast, 15-20 minutes. The waiters are helpful, they come up several times, they ask if they can serve something else. Yes, the morse is delicious.

Yesterday we went to the mega-advertised Cornflowers and were extremely disappointed. At first, we waited 20 minutes for boarding (that's okay), then we sat waiting for the menu and until they pulled the waitress themselves, they probably weren't going to carry it to us. We ordered snacks and hot food, we were warned that the hot food is cooked for 1 hour 🤦♀️ We asked to bring beer at least immediately, but they brought it to us for more than 30 minutes! And that's when we already reminded the waitress about it. There were a lot of children sitting around on the veranda, they were all running, yelling, pushing chairs, and it felt like you were sitting in a children's cafe, not in a restaurant... The very situation on the veranda is also sad - chandeliers tired of life hang, some not even above the tables, but between the tables (an interesting idea), wires stick out, there is no background music - only screaming children... The food was carried for more than an hour, the pancakes were not fried inside and at the same time very greasy. The pancakes themselves are tasteless, they were saved only by a creamy sauce with mushrooms. My daughter felt sick from fat after these pancakes, and instead of further walking around the city, she had to go to the apartment. Overall, the place is overrated, the service is disgusting, the food is tasteless. Maybe it will be better in other cities, but in Vitebsk we do not recommend going to this "cafe" (you can't call it a restaurant").

This is certainly not Minsk. The quality of the finished dish is much worse than in the capital of Belarus.
We waited for more than AN HOUR AND A HALF!!!!! The Cornflower collective is certainly getting together, but this does not increase the overall rating.
We ordered a medium-rare steak - they brought it burnt and dry. The pork ribs were very fatty, and the chicken schnitzel turned out to be the most delicious.
I'm definitely not going here next time. There is a GARAGE nearby.
