We checked in, got the key to the room, not a word about where the dining room is and the time of meals, read all the ads on the walls yourself. There were no blankets in the rooms with huge slits in the windows and a balcony door that did not close tightly. I received a killer response to the request to give out blankets: - "I have left the application, it will be issued tomorrow." How to sleep without a blanket? -"set the air conditioner to 27 degrees."🤷🏼♂️ Packs of dogs run around the territory, barking all night long. The one who will live on the ground floors will not be lucky. The dining room was renovated and restored in a chic way, I remember it half-ruined, in a deplorable state. But, the form is not the content. But the content is not up to par. Somehow everything is untidy, like in a provincial station canteen, pompous, rich, but dirty and uncomfortable. It is not uncommon for trays, forks, and plates to be missing. The order of meals by buildings and by time is not observed, sometimes there is not enough food, and the food itself is not tasty. Pigeons flutter freely in the room, sitting on the vacant tables, with all the ensuing (falling out) consequences. At the exit, the same pack of human friends are enjoying the products taken out of the dining room. I will omit the quality of locally produced alcoholic beverages, as they say, "for free and vinegar is sweet." For such money, such a service? Not justified. One grill bar on the territory in which from 10 to 13 they give some kind of tubes (even without filling) and tea or coffee, from 15 to 18 chicken wings with French fries. It's like the whole range.
3. Hell is going on in the dining room, people are being launched in batches, if you don't have time for lunch by 13:00, then you stand at the closed door, as soon as the first batch of people eats and leaves, you can go in.The dining room itself is small, and there are 7 buildings. There is simply no place for so many people.The owners apparently decided to cut the dough, and no one cares that people are like sprats in a jar. The food in the dining room is terrible, for breakfast tasteless porridge like in a hospital, tasteless omelet, buckwheat, rice, pancakes, boiled eggs, cheese, sausage.For lunch and dinner, the same salads, sometimes fish, chicken, okroshka and borscht soups, tomatoes and cucumbers taste terrible. In short, everything is the cheapest, there are no sweets from the word at all.They also take out sliced watermelons , oranges and apples.

I am staying at the hotel for the 2nd day. They took the "Standard" 16 sq.m. They brought it into the 6th building, into a cubicle where the passage between the wall and the edge of the bed is a meter, and even managed to cram a writing table there, so they have to pass sideways. The reception claims that the room is exactly 16 meters, and there are even fewer. The food is strictly on schedule, teenagers work in a tiny canteen, you can't get through hungry vacationers and, of course, the staff goes berserk. When I said Thank you to the young people for the food and service, they were shocked. But it is difficult to eat this food, it is tasteless. Today from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. the water was turned off in the building, how to go to the toilet is a mystery. Last night, the electronic key to electricity fell out of the socket, the administrators calmly explained which pimple to insert yourself in order to repair the electrics in the room... Thanks to the guys from the grill in the park, everything is fast, organized, delicious, kind and with a soul. I raised my grade only because of these guys. The hotel is terrible, except for the sea view there is nothing here!
1. Complete unsanitary conditions:

So, we drive like this for 3 hours. Then the most interesting thing is crossing the border. There we stand in line from one hour to 5 hours. Next, we get into the same minibus and shake for another 2.5 hours. And when you are already sick and your sides are beaten off, then you have arrived.
Hotel... Or, as they like to call themselves, "boarding house"... We arrived at 21.40, dinner was already over, and we took what we had, as they say... And what was left of the food: meatballs, which, as it turned out later, no one eats, they are given for breakfast and lunch and, accordingly, for dinner. Yes, they are chicken, in order to understand why you can't last long on them, it gets very annoying. Well, we slept through the night, we thought that after a night's rest there would be another vision. We went to breakfast and realized that we definitely won't eat here. Choice: millet porridge, semolina and milk vermicelli soup, all the same meatballs and salads from what was for dinner.... From drinks, mors, water, tea from unboiled barely warm water in bags. Everything.
They ate at their own expense in normal establishments.
The sea next to the hotel is muddy, of an incomprehensible color, and all due to the fact that sewage immediately enters the sea. It is picturesquely visible under the bridge. We found a way out and went to Mocha Beach. The water is clear, clean, warm and the beach is absolutely equipped.
In general, the rest is spoiled, there is no more foot in the Land of the Soul. Of the advantages of staying in Sukhum, only excursions to New Athos and Lake Ritsa.

We had a rest in August 2024 at this hotel in two rooms in the eucalyptus building. When we first came to check in, there was a complete mess at the reception, people were screaming and things and suitcases were thrown around. A couple was arguing with the administrator in front of us, saying that they had no water on the top floor, it stank of sewage, the administrator only said that there was no water in the whole city. When people opened the camera emotionally, the administrator called the guard, a guy about 20 years old who, with a grin, "who has an extra phone here," took them outside. What the fuck kind of attitude is this?!? After that, I didn't want to move in.
Okay, we checked in, the room is not bad, ordinary. The food in the dining room is like in a real dining room, when my husband went to get water during a water outage with a bucket, he saw rats in the kitchen, I'm not surprised if there are cockroaches there. There are always not enough plates/forks/spoons/trays. People who are vacationing here, a rhetorical question, is this the first time you've seen a buffet? 80% of people are pushing almost with a fight, taking fruits / meat and climbing there with their hands. It would be something to push for, it's some kind of shame. The grill bar is also a shame, three cold fries and a wing, well, thanks for that. The territory is convenient, 1 line. 10 minutes walk from the seaport. Everything is within walking distance. Local alcohol is included in the package from 10-22.00. From 15-18, ice cream, popcorn, cotton candy are distributed. The grill is cooked separately. Heated swimming pool, sun beds for free. The staff is very polite, friendly, fast, cleaning the room every day. The room is new, the renovation has just been done. All plumbing has been replaced, the linen is clean. I highly recommend this hotel!! And I'll be back here myself.

Room: the furniture is new, but you should not expect anything superfluous for the guests. Sockets are spilling out of the walls, there is no water or kettles in the room. The bathroom was not equipped with hooks, so towels had to be dried on the balcony. Building 4, where we lived, is located next to the dining room and the border of the territory. Therefore, in the morning we listened to the terrible smells of the dining room, and in the evenings the parties of local bars. You will not be guaranteed a rest without earplugs.
Food: "all inclusive" in words only. In fact, the food is terrible. The hotel chefs manage to spoil banal dishes like oatmeal (either too sweet or salty) and coleslaw (always sour). You will not be able to try everything, because you will get poisoned. If you eat a little, you will stay hungry. Organizing the order of serving, cleaning dishes and the hall at the lowest level. The crowd, dirt and unsanitary conditions.
The bar serves the whole day - 1 glass of beer in hand, chacha and wine as much as you like. But these drinks are clearly not the best, they look like diluted pulp. There is water only in the dining room and at the 1st building. It is forbidden to pour water into bottles. Wherever you want, look for water to drink in the heat.
The lobby bar was served ice cream (only the cheapest fruit ice) and a handful of popcorn. The grill was greasy and tasteless. I'm surprised that even this was ruined. If you don't get out, you'll be hungry.
Territory: unsafe ruins of buildings have been preserved throughout the territory. The landscaping is all dry and not well maintained. The beach is sandy and pebbly, you can't even go into the water without shale. There are not enough sun beds and umbrellas. There is no food or drink on the beach, you need to run around all the fences to drink and come back. You will definitely gain 10,000 steps in a day) There are no toilets on the beach either, for this you also need to run to the 1st building or to the room. The sea is dirty, the waves constantly raise sand, only children can splash with joy.
The Internet on the territory works normally only in the room and by the pool, it is periodically turned off.
Crowds of stray dogs constantly roam the territory. In the heat, there is the hum of cicadas, which is why you can not hear the interlocutor.
The staff is very rude, every request leads to a scandal and a refusal to help the guests. Upon arrival, they insulted and referred to the flow of arrivals, although by our arrival there were only 2 families left in the lobby who did not receive a clean room. The manager did not apologize for the delay, but only indicated that we had bought a ticket to them ourselves, so be patient. The canteen is staffed by very young people who are not distinguished by neatness. The dishes are not wiped, the tables and the floor were wiped only at the request of a person with a face full of irritation. At the same time, half of the staff was sitting and smoking from the back of the dining room.
During the week, towels were never changed in the rooms and the floor was not washed without a request. Only after a direct appeal to the staff.
The impressions of the stay at the hotel left one negative. The country is very beautiful, with its own flavor and delicious food. But you definitely won't find it in this place.

We arrived with a group of children, we were on our feet from 4:30 in the morning, at about 9:45 we were at the hotel, they did not give us bracelets so that we could at least feed the children, in any country they would give bracelets and say, go eat. At 11 o'clock we were registered, at 13 we were told to come up again so that we would be given bracelets, what's the problem with giving them right away?? They also made us pay 200 rubles from each person, it was also not written anywhere about it, and only at 14 we were settled. Let me remind you, we have a group of children, we were scattered on different floors and buildings and the rude administrator Alice said: Thank you for at least trying to put you in the same building, I could not have done that. Alice settled our children in a room where someone already lived, well done, thank you 👍🏻The administrators are all young, they absolutely do not know how to communicate with guests, while they are making out people, they shit on colleagues among themselves, they cannot solve any questions and problems, some towels were brought only on the second day of their stay. We rested for 8 days, towels and linen were never changed. On the penultimate day from the upper floors, someone decided to vomit from the balcony and got on our things, explaining the whole situation to the senior maid, she tried to solve our problem, immediately called to replace the towels (because they got on them) and wiped the floor, as you already guessed, NO ONE CHANGED ANYTHING FOR US AND I DIDN'T WIPE IT!!!!!! Where is at least some kind of human attitude??????
There is devastation on the territory, a lot of abandoned buildings, but this is all nonsense, so you just go into the dining room. first of all, there is a schedule, did you know about it? People came to rest and if they live in 1,2,3 buildings, they have to have breakfast from 7:30, is this a joke? Okay, time, you should have seen how many people there are, I'll leave a picture if I can re-fasten it. There are not enough appliances, plates, there is not enough food, everyone is frantically trying to grab at least something to eat, it is not possible to choose a time so that there are fewer people. Yes, by the way, the territory often stank of sewage, noisy work was constantly carried out from 8 a.m., people do not need to sleep on vacation, sleep at home.
Sun beds. We never lay on them, but do you know why!? And there are three kopecks there and people have been occupying them since 8 a.m., I put a towel on, so I booked a place for myself. I repeat once again, I came to rest, and not to fight for a place on a sunbed or in the dining room!
In general, think a million times about whether it's worth going to this hotel! Oh, I forgot to tell you about the beautiful cleaner who turns off the conditioner, because she gets sick from it, no one minds, turn it off while you're cleaning, and then turn it on! And she threw shoes indiscriminately into a drawer on top of each other, she threw SOMEONE ELSE's STREET SHOES on top of each other!!!! In fact, you can talk endlessly about these 8 days, but we left there and ARE HAPPY THAT we FINALLY LEFT!

Transfer from Sochi airport to the Country of Soul Hotel is an excellent solution, but our customs does not always give the go-ahead quickly, it takes up to 2-4 hours to leave Russia across the border with Abkhazia. But Abkhazia greets you quickly and without problems, you don't even need to go out with suitcases brought and check out, neither there nor back). It's nice to take a walk on vacation, visit many historical and sacred places, and talk to God.... interesting excursions are cool. There is excellent air and water in Sukhum.... It's nice to sit in a cafe with your family, try the national cuisine and just drink coffee or whiskey and Cola)

The dining room works disgusting, I will not write about the lack of cutlery to put something in these dirty plates, the tables are not wiped at all. It is not possible to find edible things in this ALL-inclusive program, rice with mold, semolina porridge is all in lumps and also with black lumps, only apples from fruits, which are always missing, tea and coffee are not enough. We had a rest in the "Land of the Soul" from June 3 to 12. It was our worst all-inclusive vacation ever! We were in Abkhazia for the first time, we didn't have much hopes, and yet the service of Abkhazia managed to break through the bottom.
We booked a tour through the Alean, flights, transfers, customs formalities were excellent, which cannot be said about the so-called "hotel". It was very uncomfortable to be in it. Upon arrival, we went to lunch before check-in at 14:00. I was surprised by the queue and the pressure with which the hotel guests stormed the opening doors of the dining room, and I was also surprised by the guests who came to lunch with open bottles of store wine… The food was always cold, there were not enough plates, glasses, forks, seats too... every trip to the dining room was hard labor. We had lunch somehow, the choice of dishes was meager, not cooked, not salted, and, as it turned out, the same thing was given for dinner. The breakfasts were monotonous at first, but after the change of the canteen administration they became better. So, we received the keys to the room, but the room is not ready to move in: the floor in the room is dirty (hair, sand, pieces of dirt), there were no towels in the bathroom, but visually the bathroom is clean, additional.there is no place for the child, and the bed is without bed linen. There is no change of towels and linen in the hotel!!! During the entire period, bed linen and towels were not changed, wet cleaning was done only on the fourth day, and even the green sign did not help. With a fight, after 1 hour I knocked out the bed linen, after another 2 - towels, but bath towels, for the face were given only the next day. Thus, we checked in not at 14, but at 17 o'clock. The standard room is very small in size (not 16-20 sq.m as indicated on the website) and is designed for a maximum of two, the stop is ascetic: wardrobe, bed, 2 bedside tables, TV, mini fridge, air conditioning, table. Wallpaper, ceiling, tiles in the bathroom and hallway from fresh repairs; windows, parquet in the room - remnants of the Soviet air defense boarding house. There is nowhere to put things: there are only 3 hangers in the closet, the shelf is occupied with blankets, in the bathroom, hallway there is not a single hook, no hanger, there is nowhere to put soap accessories in the shower, a balcony with a gorgeous view of the sea and the city, but you can't admire them - there are no chairs, by the way, clothes dryers (even ropes) too No, it's not. There are only 2 free sockets in the room. There are not enough sun loungers by the pool and on the beach for everyone, they are occupied even before breakfast. There is no toilet, shower on the beach, a toilet for vacationers by the pool at the reception of the main building. There is no bar on the beach either. Drinking water is not supplied to the room, on the territory of the hotel it is possible to pour only in the bar and dining room into a cup from the device (one glass in one hand), it is forbidden to pour into another container with yourself. Wine, beer, disgusting diluted swill. The grill bar was found only at the end of the rest - you would never guess that French fries, wings, and a cradle are fried here - they are always cold. During the entire period of stay, they never gave national dishes, even adjiki / sauces were not in the dining room. Pastries for breakfast began to be prepared by the end of our stay, before that we came with our "tea". To any requests, comments, the hotel staff made the persons sending you, the young people-the canteen workers openly mocked the vacationers, opening the doors, shouting like a herd of cattle, and then in their own language they ridiculed those who came to eat. It's a humiliating feeling!
The nature of the country is beautiful, walking, breathing is great! But there is no service, much less All inclusive in Abkhazia, there is only a goal to cut loot - maximum income with a minimum investment.

We arrived as a company and are currently here. We were settled very quickly. The girls at the reception are great, there are no questions for them. Our room is comfortable. The room, as a room, suits everything. The view is gorgeous. The linen was changed and the cleaning was done on the 3rd day of the stay. Most importantly, there is a heated swimming pool!!! Animation is daily, for both children and adults. There is beer, wine, and chacha in the bar. For children, ice cream, cotton candy, popcorn. Everything works!!!!The location of the hotel and its territory are simple. I take off one star for food. Well, I'm probably the only one from the company who is so picky. Everyone else has breakfast, lunch and dinner. It didn't go well for me. We went to the Nartaa restaurant. Everything is very tasty! In the evening, we gather at the dining room with a large company, dancing and talking. Of course there are disadvantages, but there are more advantages! The rest was a success!

The toilet is leaking, they do not respond to requests to repair it. There is a pack of big dogs on the territory. There are no dishes or appliances in the dining room, the first and second courses are cold. The whole coast is fed, there is no control. Half of the territory is in construction debris, vehicles travel throughout the territory day and night. The beach is not cleaned. It feels like the owners have already received the money and left this Country to its own devices.
Next year, this pigsty will be renamed and reopened.

Tea and coffee are the cheapest, disgustingly tasteless, instant coffee. Of course, we understood that this was Abkhazia, not Turkey, but we still thought it would be better in terms of food. The food is like in a free hospital, i.e. it is there, but it is impossible to eat it. Half of the dishes look like just an incomprehensible piggy, which by its very appearance discourages appetite. And there are always not enough tables, plates, spoons / forks. You run like a fool back and forth to collect the complete set.
The room was cleaned 1 time during the 7 days of stay. And then after being asked several times both personally by the cleaners and through the reception. By the way, someone is constantly swearing and indignant at the reception, so it's not just us who are so picky.
By the way, there are no kettles in the room. If you want to drink your tea after lunch, then you just won't have anywhere to get boiling water. There is boiling water only during meals in the dining room.
In general, I do not recommend Sukhum itself or the Country of the Soul hotel to rest in this format.

We rested at the Country of the Soul holiday home from June 2 to June 8. It's terrible! Everything is terrible, from food to communication with the service staff.
The hotel transfer was delayed, instead of 7 p.m., we were brought to the hotel by 12 a.m. They settled in a two-room room with a view of the garbage dump, by the way, there is a garbage dump everywhere, throughout the fenced territory of the hotel. Dirt and garbage dumps. And dogs, big sad fat dogs.
For 4 people, they gave three small towels the size of a handkerchief and three duvet covers. It turns out they have a problem with towels and bedding, and they can't do anything. At the reception, a local girl rudely told them to be happy with what they were given.
A separate story with nutrition. It's just some kind of hunger games! A crowd of people surrounds three tables waiting for trays of food and fights for cutlets! If you arrive at the beginning of breakfast or lunch, then you simply will not get plates and forks. If you can get a plate, then there will definitely be no fork, and there is nowhere to sit, there are not enough tables. For such a crowd of people, you need two such canteens at least.
Separately, we must say about the cleanliness, which is absolutely not in the dining room! Dirty floors can still be tolerated, but unwashed dishes! First, you need to wipe the traces of someone's lipstick from the cup and the soup from the washed plate, if you have time to grab the napkins.
By the way, they give out lunchboxes or dry rations if you skip lunch or dinner. We ordered it. The lunch box includes half a loaf of bread with a thin slice of cheese and a transparent sausage wheel and a bottle of water!!!! It's not edible, it's just a nightmare!!!
Then we decided to swim in the pool, as the sea was still cool. For 500 people who live in this holiday home, there are 20 sun beds by the small pool. The water in the pool is not cleaned, no cleaning products are used, there are no filters. On the second day, the pool looked like a pot of jelly, on the third it bloomed and was closed. All the vacationers, of course, went to the sea, where there are also 20 sun beds for everyone and 10 umbrellas 😆
Four days later, the bed linen was changed, the duvet covers were brought raw. When asked to change and give out dry ones, we were told that there were none!
At the reception, someone is constantly swearing from the vacationers! Vacationers are shocked!
Of the advantages: the sea is nearby.
We got a lot of impressions, we will not go there again in any case!

Comfort room, panoramic Windows to the courtyard, you can open, ventilate, BUT one CURTAIN WITH HOLES!!!
On the first evening, the child wanted to watch TV, turned on - IT did NOT WORK, wrote to the administrators, an intern came, turned on the auto setting, which did not help in any way, said "sorry" and left. This situation was not solved in any way anymore!!! Fortunately, the modern world is full of gadgets that can replace TV.
In addition, there were 2 large towels and 1 for feet, hands and face in the room - respectively, NO, I wrote again - they were brought.
There are no blankets in the room, I asked for a large SHEET - that's all. There were no blankets.
On Sunday, the girls came in, offered to replace the bedding and washed the floor, removed the garbage, it was already pleasant, soap accessories / toilet paper only on request.
The promised child/adult is missing, or rather I thought so!!! There was a girl on the first day of arrival and a day later (her work schedule was hanging on the dining room), we didn't see her anymore! On day 4, it turned out that there is an animator and there is a schedule at the reception, how to find out about it for the rest is a mystery!!!
There is NO heated pool and it is unlikely to appear in the next 2-4 weeks.
After all, in addition to the pool itself, you still need to put things in order around the pool.
Accordingly, THERE is NO pool bar (cotton candy, burgers, etc.)
The grill bar is open, there are wings, kebab, also chicken, French fries, "hot sandwiches", EVERYTHING is COLD!!!
The beach is rocky, large pebbles.
The food is MONOTONOUS: buckwheat, potatoes, rice, pasta, chicken, cabbage salads. I am glad that vegetables/ fruits and goulash appear periodically.

The weather was met with rain and heavy rains, which provoked water and light outages for a short time, which they say happens for Abkhazia. No one died) We were in Abkhazia for the first time, but we didn't want Gagra right away, we wanted to go deeper into the country and not to be very rustic. Sukhum. The price attracted me. Minus the road, it is more expensive to live at home).
The territory is huge and interesting, especially if you look for information and photos as it was here in Soviet times. Greenery and birdsong, and the SEA can be heard and seen). Walking distance to the central embankment, shops, pharmacies, etc. nearby 5-7 minutes. Minibuses nearby, for the lazy) to the market or Mocha beach with sand. There are many destroyed or restored mansions in the city, authentic houses, an observation deck on the mountain 10 min uphill overlooking Sukhum., a Botanical garden nearby.
About the hotel:
The room was with an extra place, in a Chestnut tree, I do not know by chance or it should have been so, but the location went to us: both the reception and the canteen and the beach and the pool, everything is nearby.
Beach: sunbeds for lovers from 8 to sunset to snatch, the rest will not be enough for sure, but there are paid ones for 150 per day, we with children for 1-2 hours and it was a thrill on the pebbles. The room is like in Turkish hotels 4*, maybe 3*: beds, wardrobe, table, linen, towel, hair dryer, kettle, refrigerator, TV, pastry chef, clothes dryer. Cleaning is not frequent, sometimes on request, we were satisfied, but not the level of a star hotel. Plus, the ceiling in the bathroom leaked and even on request nothing was changed, we were without light in the bathroom (it may be critical for ordinary people, but we did not spoil our vacation, we scored).
Food: For us, the food was the best, considering the price. Nothing spoiled, never and the children always had something to feed and had enough for themselves. Compared to Turkey, there are no extra spices and spices. I didn't have enough sweets and pastries. There were intermediate snacks, we didn't find out right away, behind the yellow building there was a grill bar). The guys in the canteen are running around, working hard, WELL DONE, but the main problem is in management, everything is through.... (the milkmaid was put in charge of the country)). Yes, you either have to wait for the dishes or where to sit or come 30 minutes before closing (playing camp, it was not critical for us). We found two bars, they closed one with us, and in the other they began to give out 1 glass in each hand.(The HR manager "caught" me with two glasses –"But we can't have two! I scold them for this" - A shame for managers in general, there is nothing more to say here)). In general, the bar is very much for an amateur. The beer was delicious at first, then not very good. The wine is immediately compote, but we got used to it a little bit). Chacha is hell (once for disinfection and testing)).
About the transfer that the group and the tour offered: upon arrival, they were delayed with their luggage, but even with this in mind, they had to wait another 20-30 minutes and catch it in the parking lot. In return, it was also stated at 9 a.m. that 7.5 hours before departure, he arrived an hour late and no one apologized and the tour operator who was responsible for this did not get in touch. in another country, it's somehow not ice.
