We booked a tour for a family of 3 people, a child of 10 years old, we got to the Land of the Soul! This is the first time in Abkhazia, the country is magical, there is a lot of contrast! About the boarding house: it is located 50 steps from the sea, the territory is beautiful, there is a place to walk, the air can be collected in bags! On the beach you can take a sunbed - 200 rubles, you can on the pebbles, there are stationary umbrellas! Everything is fine, but.... there is a mountain river 50 meters away, because of it the sea is often dirty and cold! 500 meters away is the beach of the MVO sanatorium, where the beach is better, cleaner, etc., we went there). About the hotel: we lived on the 5th floor - room 27! Everything NEEDS RENOVATION! I understand and realize that this is not about the stars and so on, but very old beds, they just creak terribly that you wake up and wake up the neighbors as you move! The bathroom has a new sink and toilet, everything else from the time of construction! There is also a refrigerator, air conditioning, and a kettle in the room! There is an ironing board and a microwave on the floor) what REALLY "bribed" me personally is CLEANLINESS! MANY THANKS to the maid Nina)))) A beautiful lady! I am always ready to help you, to suggest! The fairy of comfort and cleanliness! Towels and linen are snow-white)))) we had a rest for 12 nights, during this time the linen was changed 3 times, towels 4! Cleaning every other day! By the way, there are different owners on each floor, so for example on 12-13 there is a beautiful view and repairs are done, everything is wonderful, BUT... People didn't have water for 3 days! The lights in the whole area were turned off twice, for a short period of time! The hotel is very close to the center! Yes, I also consider it a HUGE MINUS - the rooms smell terribly of sewage after the rains! Perhaps that's it! Would you go there again!? I think not! In the MVO sanatorium 500 meters away, the same price, but the conditions are a little better and the beach is cleaner!
A favorite place, it's great that it began to be rebuilt and restored, a unique location, wonderful views, but of course prices have soared, it still pulls there and only there..

On the 12th floor, the wonderful owner is Givi, responsive, caring, you can turn to him in any controversial situation and help. But on the 10th floor, the situation is the opposite, a fiend and an imbecile. (Go to any floor but not this one)During the May holidays of 2022, when the boarding house was 99% occupied, this ***** began to make repairs.. with noise work (it was impossible to lie down in the afternoon to rest after lunch, as well as in the morning to fix it longer), but even this was tolerable. Why think about repairs in winter, when there is no one, if you can start doing it at the beginning of the season and lose profit? But even the noise work was tolerable until the painting work with the parquet began. The stench was on the 4th floor up, it was impossible to stay in the room - after 4 hours, signs of toxic poisoning began - nausea, headache, it was hard to breathe. They did not respond to the request to stop poisoning people in any way, they said "it happens".I had to abruptly flee from this concentration camp, fortunately the sympathetic owner of Givi moved to another hotel.

We were lucky, our building was beautiful, the view on the 14th floor is simply fabulous! The food is normal, there are disadvantages, well, it doesn't matter! And so a good hotel.
The boarding house was called "The Land of the Soul".
Although it would be more correct to put two exclamation marks "Country!Souls! " Stray dogs were running around the territory, dead rats were lying around with which children of vacationers were happily playing. The elevator, which had not changed for 30 years, groaned and cursed as it crawled to the right floor. There was reproach in his movements. Well, what do you want an old man from me?.. However, the electricity was often turned off and the elevator received a well-deserved respite. A pitiful notice hung on one of the floors of the boarding house: "Please close the doors tightly, cats run in and shit." In addition to the somehow functioning buildings, there are completely abandoned buildings in the wonderful country. ..
I even wrote a story after living in a boarding house. When checking in, the dilapidated indifferent administrator tried to find out which floor we were checking in on, with a tone of what the hell we were doing, I found out..
The sea is close, but the dirty river is also close. The entrance to the sea is not equipped in any way. Well, at least they would have made a pontoon, but you walk on the pebbles at the risk of damaging your legs. Dustpan dustpan dirt ruining stray animals. The only thing is the receptionist on the 5th floor is polite and did the cleaning and everything is OK. But in general, the boarding house is falling apart and the wild indifference of all other comrades.
I rested from 19. 07.2022 to 07/25/2022
I really liked the sanatorium! We lived on the 14th floor. The freshest renovation, snow-white bed linen, gorgeous sea views, less than a minute walk to the beach. At the same time, the price is very affordable, just a godsend! Very friendly staff, only pleasant impressions remained! Thanks!
Who's going for what! The rooms are normal, for different wallets, cheaper, more expensive.Well, yes, the building itself requires major repairs, but it stands directly on the sea (the views from the rooms are stunning, the greenery is around, it is not crowded, the usual pebble beach is stretched with a large shade, sun beds for a hundred rubles, there are plenty of places where you can have a snack, we really liked it!For this price, you can close your eyes to a lot of things!
The horror!!! I've never seen such a number before! Upon arrival, we checked into the wrong room, the socket was pulled out by the roots, the light bulbs were not lit. The refrigerator is an old Soviet department. At the reception I asked to move into another room because living in such conditions is not a vacation! And what kind of a nominee would take off such a g...!!! We were settled in a 2-room room with new furniture, but there was a miracle waiting for us, a wonderful one with a sewer that flowed from scratch after 2 days! We moved to another room. The owners squeeze the last out of this boarding house, they do not want to do repairs themselves, they patch it up in parts. The conditions are kick-ass!!! Personally, I don't set foot in this hole anymore!!!! And the owners just want to rip off your money, that's all. And the fact that they don't care about the devastation all around!!!!
We were here this year from 06/22/2017. We booked in March, having paid the entire cost of the room, booked the 3rd or 9th floor, so we promised. We arrived at night and were not even expected. In the morning they demanded to pay for the room, you can't even keep records. Hatuma is brazen ***. We were accommodated on the 6th floor by another owner (a good responsive Madina). As it turned out, her room was 4000 cheaper than I paid for, Khatuma did not return the difference in money to me. Yes, the rest was a little spoiled. Most importantly, I am not the only one who has encountered such number scams. They throw a beautiful view and a good room in a personal account, as a result, you are in complete contrast. Yes, the sea is nearby, but the mud is nearby, there is a stinky river that flows into the sea, it is dirty.
Take rooms on the upper floors-you will not lose! Yes, everything is Soviet inside. But what a gorgeous view of the sea, mountains and the city! I don't want to leave the balcony! And the location of the hotel is very convenient - next to the Red Bridge begins the central promenade and a beautiful park! It was in August 2021.
We will not go to this boarding house anymore. Everything is sad, there is devastation all around. Among the advantages is the beautiful Abkhazian nature, within walking distance of the city embankment, the botanical garden and theaters.
What's the main thing in the south? The sea! And the hotel is right on the shore! The view from the windows is amazing! You can eat delicious food in many places both nearby and in the hotel. I liked everything!
The building of the former sanatorium was bought up by several owners, by floor. Someone made repairs, someone washed, and someone did nothing. Therefore, the price is different, and cleaning, and furniture, and the Internet. But you will not find a better location and view of the sea and Sukhum! We had a room on the 9th floor. Corner room. There is a balcony on both sides. Huge! The views are breathtaking! The toilet certainly requires a good repair. But it's clean. If you decide to stay here, ask about the room in more detail. I would definitely come back here, but only to a room where a better repair has been done.
Although we were not satisfied with the trip to Abkhazia, we expected something more, I give the sanatorium 5 points. Nature, vegetation, everything is conducive to rest. But the country is in decline, development is very slow. No one strives for cleanliness, neither tourists (seeing such a nightmare), nor the residents themselves. There is ruin and dirt everywhere. Although 20 years have passed since the war.
How nice it is to see Abkhazia reborn! I really hope that this pleasant place on the shore will flourish and develop! Every year we see an increase in comfort, I hope that it will only get better in the future
If the main thing for you is the sea and nature, then definitely YES!
If the service is still important to you, more or less acceptable and pleasant living conditions, tt is definitely not!
No repairs, no service, no food...
But-the first line by the sea, gorgeous views, falling asleep to the sound of the wave....
Mmm...connoisseurs will like it))
We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights at the end of April. We were given a better room than the one booked, as it was renovated. There are no questions about the room, there were dishes, a kettle. There was no hair dryer. The toilet is in poor condition, it smelled like sewage, dirty, there is still no hot water supplied, but you need to turn on the water heater. We were on the 5th floor, booked on Yandex Travel. The territory of the hotel is also such a thing) but it's a big plus right on the seashore

As many have already written, the location is good, the building is old and you can't say that there are signs of life in it, it's quiet in the evenings, I would even say terribly quiet. There were good view rooms on the 12th floor in May, clean linen, soap, kettle, refrigerator, refrigerator and microwave in the common area, and even an old but working TV. I liked the eucalyptus park for walking. The lights and water were turned off for some time during the day. I will not write down the disadvantages, this is not a hotel with stars. Thank you for keeping the budget cost and gradually reanimating the rooms and a comfortable stay
We had a rest there in June of this year. I took off one star only for loud music in the evenings. And so the place is magical. Someone will say "devastation" - yes, there is such a moment. Nevertheless: the territory of the sanatorium is beautiful, starting from the architecture (yes, the abandoned buildings also have their own charm) and ending with a lot of plants that are well cared for. I also really liked the deserted beach, because people are always very annoying close to each other. In general, it is a great option for introverts and misanthropes. And the climate in Sukhumi is very pleasant.
We rested with our daughter for 10 days, lived on the 8th floor, there is no repair here, everything is old, after three days we began to notice bites on the body, we did not see mosquitoes, I suspect that either bedbugs or midges of some kind, in general, the room was changed purely pastel, cleaning was done.
Of the advantages, the view from the balcony we had a corner room, the balcony with the letter G is of course the main plus, there is hot and cold water, air conditioning works, TV and WiFi hardly pulls for 3, elevators work, towels, kettle, refrigerator, mugs, plates, spoons, microwave and iron on the floor.
Of the minuses, the food in the cafe "Trout" on the shore to the right of the boarding house is terribly not tasty, such a nice woman is on orders, but they do not cook so well, although I heard that people leave thanking, at first I also liked everything, the first second day, then the shish kebab is too salty, the fish is not cleaned, undercooked, the soup is grubby broth with three risinki and large pieces of onion, in general, they charge a lot of money for food, but there is no soul in the food. I do not advise you to come here. I will not go myself either, for me Abkhazia is for once, lazy abzazians are killing and ruin.
The sea was dirty, mud was constantly rushing from the river to the shore branches, sticks, stumps, and mud. We went swimming on Mocha. Photos are not added because It is necessary to reduce the size.
The best memories of a vacation in October 2019 are here in the Land of the Soul!!!! It was unforgettable, interesting, and informative. The pension is located right in the center of the capital of Abkhazia, Sukhum. Having settled here for 8 days, I was immediately transported back to my childhood, which fell on the years of confident march through the country with the name of the USSR of Soviet power!!!! Cozy, clean. Autumn friendly staff, I really want to come back here again!!!!
We took a break from Biblio Globus in May 2022.
It's a bad place, I don't recommend it to anyone.
The rooms are very bad, there is no cleaning, no linen change, everywhere is dirty, smells, local wildlife
1. The elevator is chronically not working. There wasn't a day that he didn't get stuck. There are only 3 people in the elevator, and sometimes it takes a long time.
2. In the rooms on the 14th floor, the water in the shower room is very weak (a third or a quarter of the usual normal pressure). The washing process lasts for an hour.
3. The rooms are not cleaned until you ask for it yourself. Towels are not changed.
4. The cook in the dining room is always in a bad mood. We were at work and the hotel given with meals was paid for. They fed us whatever they had to. Store-bought pancakes, semi-finished cutlets, sausages all the time. Often the food was simply tasteless. And one day they brought us boiled buckwheat and the remains of yesterday's pilaf in one plate. The drink was not included in the lunch: I had to buy tea separately.
I do not recommend it! Prices do not match the quality of service.
Good reviews are written by those who rent rooms there, for 500 rubles / day if you contact them directly. It's not worth the rot anymore. Feel sorry for yourself and your vacation. Don't even think about it!!! There are plenty of other good hotels nearby, read the reviews. This is not a hotel, this is a pigsty, horror, dirt and complete ruin
It feels like they have returned to the USSR, everything is in a deplorable state.
They just want to earn more money, but no one wants to invest.
If you have health problems, then I do not recommend checking into this hotel, the elevator rarely works, and if it works, you can get stuck in it.
Only the 14th floor has been renovated, all other rooms are not renovated. The sea is exactly 25 steps away. There is only one elevator, with a capacity of 3 people. The bar on the 10th floor is frail, but you can eat at the neighboring pension MVO. The central embankment is a 12-minute walk away.
