The quality of the services provided at the hotel fully justifies its price.
There are 0 complaints about the staff: everything is clean, friendly, beautiful, delicious.
Bottled water and shampoo/gel/soap are provided every day. The room has a TV, refrigerator, kettle and black/green tea.
The only drawback: sometimes they did not have time to put clean dishes on the buffet in time (for example, glasses, appliances, etc.), they had to wait a few minutes, but this was not always the case.
There would be enough sun beds and umbrellas for everyone if most people did not occupy them in the morning, but were absent most of the day.
So the problem is with the people and the culture of behavior, not the amount of inventory provided.
!I recommend
taking rooms with sea views in order to feel the beauty
of a hydrogen sulfide bath, go at least 5 times for effect, there is no less sense on the recommendation of a doctor, whom you will definitely have to visit for free before taking a bath on the spot. Only after the bath, put on clothes that are not a pity, the smell of hydrogen sulfide remains on clothes even after washing.
We went to novaya Gagra by minibus (price 50 rubles one way) and did not regret at all that we chose a Hotel in staraya Gagra.

We had a rest from August 31 to September 8 together. I really liked it. The hotel is renovated, the staff is very friendly, they will always prompt and help. Very close location to the sea. It is cozy, quiet, has its own small embankment, where it is pleasant to sit and breathe the sea air in the evening.The room is cozy, they give you a towel for the beach and for the bath. There is no cleaning every day as abroad, but a foot towel, toilet paper and a 0.5 l bottle of water are changed daily for each person. A standard set for a bath is shower gel, shampoo, soap. There is a hair dryer, very powerful.If you need to clean up the room, there is a sign "please clean up with us" and the whole room will be cleaned and the bed linen will be changed, all towels will be updated. There are a lot of sun beds on the beach, there are umbrellas. But they are not always enough for everyone. A clean pool with music. Parking for cars, with security. There is a small market and shops nearby in a 3-minute walk. There is also a stop to get to Novaya Gagra. There is a bar and a restaurant on site. Three meals a day, buffet. Always a decent choice of food. Thanks to the hotel and the staff for a great stay.

Everything is delicious, the food is for every taste. Cozy! A decent place to relax. There is a restaurant on site, the prices are reasonable. There is a gym. You can play table tennis outside. There is a fountain) The room has everything you need. The tea bar was replenished daily, as well as personal hygiene products. The hotel has a representative for organizing excursions, which is a plus. The only disadvantage of the hotel is the staff. Not very friendly. They do not have full information, you will not ask - they will not tell you about the hotel's services. At the reception, I would give the girls a "3-". Of course, you need to work on the service, and for this a minus star. In general, I recommend the hotel.

We had a family vacation for the New Year holidays. It's a very beautiful place. The hotel is renovated, the rooms have everything you need. A varied buffet menu. Friendly staff.
Amazing live music in the restaurant.
Good wishes to the hotel administration:
- to improve the cleaning in the rooms, or to be more precise, there is none at all, the maid only changes towels and linens, adds water and tea. The floor covering, bathroom and balcony are not cleaned.;
- improve Wi-Fi operation;
- I would like the children's playroom to be open from May.
We have already rested several times, we recommend it to all our friends. And, of course, we will come again!

Positive:
The hotel has a very good location in a quiet location.
Its own beach, a sufficient number of sun beds and umbrellas, a freshwater pool.
A small but nice and clean area.
The rooms are newly renovated, well furnished. There are enough places to store things.
The lighting is very well done, which is very rare for hotels. A large number of outlets.
The bathroom is rather big, you can stay in it together at the same time and not interfere with each other. Electric heated towel rail with multiple modes of operation. The hair dryer is powerful, it looks professional, with a slit nozzle.
The refrigerator is quiet. The tea station is powerful. Every day they were given 2 bottles of 0.5 liters of water, 4 tea bags, sugar, shampoo, soap.
We liked the Swedish line restaurant.
The food is without special frills, but tasty and in a sufficient assortment. They constantly brought what was coming to an end. The waiters were great fellows, they quickly cleared the tables, reported napkins. Yes, there were times when clean appliances and cups ran out, but they were brought in quickly enough.
In the paid bar and restaurant "Kavkaz" they took only coffee and cognac - they liked both.
Minuses:
The shower room is a little ill-conceived - no matter how carefully you take a shower, some of the water splashed out on the floor anyway.
There were black spots on some of the towels-it felt like they were traces of grease.
One batch of bed linen had a musty smell, as if it had been folded slightly damp and stored in an unventilated room.
The drying system for beach accessories in rooms without a balcony has not been thought out - the electric towel rail is too small for this.
Garbage cans are right under the windows of the rooms located above the restaurant - a very unpleasant and uncharacteristic neighborhood.
The main disadvantage is the complete lack of cleaning in 9 days both in the room and in the corridor.
Will we come to the Caucasus again? More likely yes than no.

Recently returned from vacation, spent 8 nights at this hotel
The territory is quite spacious, you can play tennis, there is a Playground, a restaurant, the sea is just a couple of meters from the hotel, very beautiful views, I have never seen such a clean sea anywhere.
Positive:

-Your own beach with sun loungers
The guys from the dining room have a separate respect, everything was very tasty, although in the end it seemed the same, but I think we had enough)
A huge disadvantage:
-Service

Upon arrival, the whole bed was covered in hair, there were stains on the towels.
To fix the problem, I had to run after the maids, who are not particularly interested in it.
There was no "do not disturb, clean the room" sign
In the room When asked to come in later, the maid knocked either after a couple of minutes, or scored and did not come at all.
The rooms are vacuumed only before check-in, during the rest, at the same request, it was not fulfilled.
Beach towels were not changed, they were asked for.
I was also outraged by the situation in the dining room, when I came to eat for lunch, I was wearing a swimsuit, and a tunic dress on top, which was a little translucent, to which the girl turned me around and said that we could not wear swimsuits, although I did not come from the beach, not wet.
It seemed strange to me.
Badminton and tennis rackets were broken, but it didn't stop us.
Inside the hotel, a woman sells excursions, which is very convenient, but there was also a jamb.
They showed us the photos, and we were told, yes, this is that tour
In fact, having gone to it, there were absolutely the wrong views and the wrong territory.
In general, I liked the hotel, but it would be worth working on the service, people pay money for a comfortable stay, which should match the price.

The location is a paradise, the road remains aside, silence, clean sea, there are no neighboring hotels, beautiful well-groomed territory.Entertainment within walking distance of 10 min.walking.There is a restaurant on site. Sun beds, umbrellas, paths by the purest sea. Overall, a good hotel, newly renovated, large, beautiful territory. In Old Gagra by the most beautiful sea. There is also a Seaside park nearby, you can walk, climb the mountains, very beautiful nature.
The buffet food is good, especially the breakfasts.
The pool is nice, heated, but not illuminated, it is uncomfortable to swim in the dark.
The reception staff is quite friendly, although illiterate, they try to solve all issues as quickly and politely as possible.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of shortcomings, I hope they will be worked on.
Disadvantages:
1. The standard room with two separate beds is insanely cramped, cluttered with unnecessary ugly furniture, it is impossible to pass between the beds, the balcony door does not fully open. Absolutely terrible bed linen, synthetic sheets, they did not stay on the mattresses in any way, they woke up without a sheet - everything was lumpy. In addition, the mattresses are not fixed on the beds and also moved out all the time. We didn't get enough sleep.
2. Unfortunately, ordinary workers in the canteen are mostly very inattentive, unsmiling. We tried to clean the plates without waiting for us to eat. The staff at the beach is a nightmare. We had to carry the sunbeds ourselves, since we could never find an employee. Once they found it, he refused to take it (!) - look for free ones on the beach. But in the evening he collected sunbeds very zealously, literally driving away vacationers.
3. Towels are not changed, you need to ask specifically
4, The most disgusting thing is a pack of stray dogs on the territory of the hotel (about 10), which are fed by the staff. These dogs walk along the beach, lie down next to vacationers in a crowd, do all their business right on the beach, in front of the hotel, and apparently breed there. This is wildness and unsanitary conditions.

Positive:
*Proximity to the sea
*There is a heated swimming pool
*Wide coastline
*Lots of trees
*elegant new rooms (modern,comfortable,with everything you need)
*The room has everything you need:bathrobes,soap,shower gel,shampoo,bath towels,pool towels
*I really liked the pickles, the most delicious cheesecakes for breakfast, very very tasty pastries (the choice is small, but very tasty)
*Friendly staff
Minuses:
*We were very upset when we came to dinner at 18:30 (dinner starts at 18:00) and there is almost no food there (photo attached)
And there wasn't much food and variety on the other days either.The pickles are the same every day, there is 1 type of salad, there were 2 types of fruits (apples and oranges)
There are only 2 types of soups
Meat chicken and pork
There was only pink salmon from the fish
Wine for lunch is some kind of cheap swill, it tastes disgusting
The food will be shorter , you will not stay hungry , but there was no such pleasure .
* I would really like to pay attention to the sheets, which are constantly "sliding" off the mattress, because they are too small

Well, a gorgeous vacation spot! I strongly recommend it! Have a great New Year! Thanks to the presenter Alexey! He just made our holiday! Everything was cool! He rallied the whole room so much! It was a lot of fun. They didn't notice how the morning came).
Now about the essentials.
The food is excellent, everything is delicious, the cleaning is daily, the hotel is sparkling clean, everything is done with taste.
Electricity is being cut off in Abkhazia. But you won't feel it in the hotel. There is a large generating station that turns on automatically during the main shutdown.
There is a heated swimming pool on site. The water is heated to 28-30 degrees. In winter, that's the thing). In general, I definitely recommend the hotel!

I visited the hotel in early October 2024.
Positive:
A comfortable room.
Regular room cleaning.
Excellent 3 meals a day with a convenient visiting time. Homemade wine is served at lunch.
There is a bar and a restaurant.
Vacationers are provided free of charge with beach towels (one time), sun beds,
and a beach umbrella.
The beach is pebbly, but the pebbles are not large, so it is generally comfortable. The entrance to the sea is convenient.
There are showers on the beach.
There is also a heated swimming pool near the beach.
There is a guarded parking lot.
The territory is fenced.
There are good, mobile, tennis tables.
Minuses:
There are a lot of stray dogs on the territory. At night, several times they arranged noisy, dog weddings and it seemed that no one from the hotel administration reacted to this.
There is uncontrolled movement of boats, catamarans and jet skis on the beach. They can swim to any place, squeezing between people bathing.
The toilet on the beach was not working.
The presence of a gym is indicated, but in fact it is two treadmills and an ellipse.
If you like long walks, then the territory of the hotel will seem too small for you.

A great place for a relaxing holiday. The kitchen in the dining room is amazing, everything is always fresh and very tasty!
The pool is really warm and it has a very beautiful view.
Guided tours on the ground floor do not differ in price from local travel agencies.
The bus stop is nearby, you can get to any part of Abkhazia, the schedule can be checked with locals or on Google maps. There's a great brewery nearby with delicious beer! 🍻

Very nice secluded location away from the road. Shops are a long way away. The standard room is very small - you can't get through with the chair spread out. For an additional fee, they were moved to a luxury room with a view terrace. Everything in the room is fine, except for the abominably working Wi-Fi. After three reminders (by the end of the stay), the guy came to look, and then it turns out that the router in the room had burned down a long time ago, and they forgot to install a new one. As compensation for such a "small" misunderstanding, they brought a fruit plate with the same fruits that are served at a local restaurant. Well, that's not much compensation considering how much whining I've heard from a teenager deprived of the Internet. Otherwise, everything is decent enough.

We have been vacationing since mid-July 2024. in general, we liked everything. The kitchen is excellent,, the choice is not great, but very tasty and homemade,,, drinks-coffee, tea, juices, awesome milk, sour cream, fresh cottage cheese. At lunch, the wine is white and red. A little above the bar-we went in the evening,, the price is reasonable, the bartender is a darling,,, Armen - you have a huge respect,, heart-to-heart conversations,,, songs. On the first evening, the guy from the restaurant (Luka) and the girl danced for us, very cool, thank you.. The sea is waves,,, always,, but it's not critical for me,,, to swing on the waves, then into the pool (clean and warm). Excursions took the feast and the lake. Ritz, of course, is expensive, but purely for general development. The sulfur hydrogen baths are free,,, take away the gazelle,,, for an additional fee. There are other procedures available. In general, the rest is good. Yes, the rooms are renovated, no worse than,, abroad,,, comfortable... The view from the balcony is awesome. The location of the hotel is a big plus, precisely because of the remoteness from Gagra (away from rotovirus). The room was not big with a balcony and sea view (the view is awesome). Tin is a sheet that slides over the mattress and cannot be tucked in, you try to put it back in place all night.
According to the service, I put 5, all the staff is very responsive. About cleaning: we asked what we needed: extra toilet paper and change towels, because Turkey's scheme about "put it on the floor and change it" has not yet caught on.
There is an ironing room, a laundry room.
Food: very cool, simple and delicious! The guys are cooks and the guys at the mega-hotel service. The restaurant itself has 2 floors, there were always enough places, the view from the 2nd floor is beautiful, we had dinner and lunch only there (there is a bar for those who wish, you can pay in cash or by card).
There are 2 cafes on site for ₽, one before the beach, the second after the beach, you can eat in the first: both boats and mussels, very tasty (mussels 500p).
The beach is pebbly, there are a lot of sun beds, but sometimes they took the deck chairs themselves, which are stacked every evening.
5 minutes from the hotel (the road to the hotel) is a chain of shops, there is also a minibus to Gagra (market) 50p.
The hotel offers daily trips to hydrogen sulfide baths at the medical complex in Gagra. We regretted that we did not sign up for them from the very beginning (there you can also experience other water procedures for ₽).
The Wi-Fi in the hotel was constantly falling off, but I didn't really need it.

The location is excellent - on one side the sea, on the other the mountains.
The food is very tasty, varied, enough for everyone (despite the fact that some visitors are like starving from the Volga region)). There are always several options for breakfasts, main courses, salads, pickles. It is necessary to have time for the first courses, because the above-mentioned starving people have not yet raked out all the thick, they will not detach from the ladle)) By the way, it was the same with watermelon, melon, peaches - one aunt will become, and until she rakes out a quarter of the tray, she will not leave. It's good that then the workers began to vary - at the beginning they would bring the most favorite products, then in the middle, then at the end, then everyone began to get it. Fruits, greens, cheeses, desserts, dairy and fermented milk products, juices (there were always three types), vegetables (they were infrequent), black and green tea, wine (red and white) at lunch, coffee for breakfast. I really miss the omelette for breakfast, cheesecakes, dumplings and coffee with homemade milk). The only two disadvantages are: in terms of nutrition - often undercooked, raw potatoes inside, and in terms of organization - they were sometimes not allowed on the second floor, but there were not enough places on the first floor.

The rooms are quite small, but in general you come on vacation for the sake of the sea, and not to sit in the room, so there is enough space. We had our own small balcony, we put a dryer there, and in the company with her we enjoyed tea, coffee and views) Although they said that it could be placed on a shared balcony, and some even put it in the hallway. The disadvantages of the room are that there is little space in the shower combined with the toilet. The shower room is closed with a small short curtain and the threshold is very low, so the water floods to the toilet. The drain is not working well. There is no ventilation, or rather there is a hole in the ceiling, but it does not work as a hood. It costs three people to take a shower, and the room is flooded and stuffy.
The hotel has a small gym - two treadmills, an exercise bike, an ellipsoid, a Swedish wall with a horizontal bar, fitballs, small dumbbells, expanders, rollers for MFR.
The territory is beautiful, well-groomed, with various plants, fountains. They put up a table tennis table and basketball baskets. There is a small playground. We swam in the pool only on the day of arrival, because it was too late to go to the sea. The water in the pool that evening was cold, and it smells very strongly of bleach. The pool has its own sun beds and umbrellas, it is cleaned several times a day, massage things - we have never seen them work. There are changing rooms and showers near the pool. Near the central descent to the beach there is a toilet (separate) with showers and changing rooms. It is cleaned several times a day, it is very pleasant. The only disadvantage of the territory is that two more buildings are being built, i.e. it is noisy, there is garbage in places, and this spoils the view. And it is unclear where the additional influx of vacationers will be placed later - the beach is not particularly large. And now about the beach itself. It is not at all a "private, private hotel beach" from the word at all. In fact, there are two different hotels on both sides of the beach. Each of the hotels has its own sun beds and umbrellas. By the way, there are always enough sun beds, but the umbrella on the stand must go and occupy / mark / set aside before breakfast, otherwise it will not be later. Some of the umbrellas and stands are broken. The so-called swimming areas at each hotel are marked with swimming limiters and these areas are insanely small - they are not designed for the number of people staying at the hotel, plus there are large boulders (breakwaters). There are no rules on the beach. You can smoke and throw steers on the sun beds, drink wine, beer with stinking fish, spit seeds and nuts - our people are pigs and no one is watching this (But when we began to take an umbrella and sun beds to the middle of the beach, away from the "piggish" crowd, the workers began to resent what to do it is impossible, they say, not their area of responsibility and then they are far away (as much as 20 meters) to return back in the evening. A separate story is the jet skis dissecting between the heads of floating people - it's just a terrible horror! It's just that jet skis, jet skis with pills, jet skis with bananas are constantly playing around where people swim and randomly dock to the shore wherever they want. They can also throw their swimming gear and go talk to someone, and at this time a banana, a pill or a jet ski, bobbing on the waves, floats over someone's head. Tour operators on their boats and catamarans also sail randomly, in pursuit of customers, even twice to this small beach. First of all, it's all scary and you can't relax. Secondly, you almost constantly breathe their exhaust, and not fresh sea air. I contacted the managers at the reception about this, but nothing has changed. Even on the city's common free beaches, special areas are made / allocated for the mooring of boating and sightseeing boats.facilities. We highly recommend that the hotel establish a place and rules for mooring on the beach, as well as rules for vacationers - do not drink alcoholic beverages, do not consume strong-smelling foods, do not litter, smoke in special places, etc. Because at the moment the beach spoils the whole impression - and people come here precisely for relaxing on the beach, across the sea, and sea air (we have enough exhaust in large cities of the Central Federal District), for comfortable and safe swimming.

A quiet, peaceful hotel. We liked everything. We're going there again. The food is without frills, but everything was (different meat, etc.) we ate enough, everything is fine and delicious!
The staff is trying hard.
The only thing that upset me was there was no plain water available (for free) just 0.5 times a day per person. I had to buy it.
The sea is perfect!

This hotel is suitable for those tourists who like a super comfortable stay.
3 meals a day at the highest level. The pool is beautiful.
The hotel grounds are well maintained, palm trees, flowers, and various beautiful trees are everywhere.
I didn't live in the main building, but in the "Coastal" one. That's where the cons start. This building is not located on the territory of the main hotel. To reach it, you need to complete a whole quest. Until they have made paths in the park, which is next to this building, you will have to go around with a suitcase.
The room is small, the tiled floor is very cold. Unfortunately, I got stained bed linen, which overshadowed my stay.
In general, the hotel provides a shuttle service to the Amra hydrotherapy center, where you can take a hydrogen sulfide bath for free. For an additional price, you can also get a massage and much more.
You can book a guided tour at the hotel.
This hotel is suitable for parents with children, as there is a play area, and animators work with children at certain hours.

The pool is large and clean, there were always enough sun beds both on the plage and by the pool. A huge plus is that the pool is open until 21:00, you can swim after dinner. The beach is clean, the sea is beautiful.
We lived in a room with a view of Gagra, we liked that the room area is larger than the one with a view of the sea, the extra place stood up well and was not crowded. Additional places are very comfortable, you can sleep for an adult👍 from the balcony of our room you could see the pool, the sea and Novaya Gagra (through palm trees) 😀

We are resting at the hotel at the moment. One of the advantages is a good room, a gorgeous view of the sea from the room, a large swimming pool and the location of the sea (very close), there are enough sun beds / umbrellas.
According to nutrition, the choice of dishes is small, but there is. In the morning, the whole problem is to find clean cups and spoons. I have to go after the staff, ask them to bring it. To fulfill the request, you need to approach more than once.
Room cleaning is not available. To change the bed linen / towels, put water on - you still need to follow the staff, remember more than once. After a week, the beach towels have not been changed once. They came up to the reception, asked to resolve the issue - nothing!
Wi-Fi seems to be there and as if it is not. It doesn't pull from the word at all. We also asked this question at the reception - that Wi-Fi is indicated on the site, but it does not work well. The answer struck honesty - yes, it is written that it exists, but it is not written that it is high-speed!

We had a rest together, late April-early May 2024.
Of the advantages: good location, clean air, quiet, calm, 1 line, well-maintained park, clean, tidy hotel, varied food (well done chefs!) The officers in the hall immediately pick up dirty dishes, friendly and friendly girls at the reception, rooms are cleaned regularly. Many thanks to fitness trainer Alexandra, a good professional in her field (it's a pity that few people come to training). The weather was cool (+10-+16 and rain), the heating in the room was working, the temperature was comfortable.

We are resting in this hotel now. Everything is fine!!!!!!!! The sea is the warmest, the pool is clean, warm, spacious. A family of three people, two adults and a child of 5 years old, rested from 01.10.2024-06.10.2024 in the Coastal building.Our room was two-room, spacious, but the cleaning here is certainly not very good..The bed linen and towels were stained..The plumbing is also washed so-so..Therefore, I'm shooting one star ... In the dining room, the guys tried to serve quickly, well done, it turned out, the food, of course, was not restaurant food, it was quite tasty and most importantly there was no rotavirus. As a travel agent, I can appreciate it, because I rested in different hotels in Abkhazia.
A very client-oriented hotel:polite staff, comfortable rooms, delicious cuisine. I booked for breakfast, but then I booked full board.

We rested for 7 days at this hotel. The rooms were clean, we had a balcony and sea view, the room itself is small, has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
It takes 2 minutes to walk to the sea, there are plenty of sun beds and umbrellas , the beach is clean, everything is provided - there is a shower room, a place to change clothes.
The pool is clean, heated.
The food in the Swedish line is very tasty, varied, fresh meat, fruits, vegetables, we were always full. We have never seen large queues, everything is calm (it is better to walk in the second hour).
Of the cons : we are a married couple and indicated at the time of booking that we needed a double bed - we did not take this into account and settled into a room with two separate beds.
In general, we are very satisfied with the rest, nothing spoiled the impression.
