As always, Almaty is a beautiful city, and the park with the eternal flame is amazing, there is a place to walk and feed pigeons, a very convenient location for recreation and walks.
I love playing with pigeons, there is a church for Christians and an uncle who sells bird food sold it for cheaper and gave 1 pack for free (we bought 2, we didn't have enough for 1 and decided to give 1 more)
The park is a symbol of the victory and heroism of our ancestors, as well as much that is in it. The park is very green and you can spend time in it pleasantly and usefully, both with children and alone.
This park is the memories of many generations of residents of Almaty. Everyone has at least some pleasant memory associated with this park. This is everyone's youth.
I advise guests to take a walk there. And those who live in Almaty, walking along these alleys, go back to the past. A time of cheerful and job-free youth.
A great park for visiting and walking. Children love to feed pigeons and ride cars and horses. Adults and the elderly are also always happy with the attractions and chess tournaments
Beautiful - ancient trees with huge trunks, squirrels and pigeons near the cathedral create a unique atmosphere of this area of the city. It is cozy for walking at any time of the year.

The historical park of 28 Panfilov Guards, one of the main attractions of Almaty. The Ascension Cathedral, the memorial of the glory of the Great Patriotic War, the museum, the Artichoke Theater, children's attractions on the square in front of the cathedral. There is a cafe nearby, a Green bazaar nearby
A great park, clean at any time of the year, lots of all kinds of paths, benches. In summer, irrigation systems create pleasant coolness and humidity. But the main part of it is the memorial to the fallen wars in the Second World War.
The Park named after 28 Panfilov Guards is one of the most picturesque and green parks in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It is located on Gogol Street, not far from Al-Farabi Avenue, and was opened in 1965 in memory of 28 Soviet Panfilov soldiers who died in battles with the Nazi invaders.
The area of the park is more than 40 hectares, and it stretches on the mountainside, giving its visitors the opportunity to enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding area. In the park, you can walk along wide alleys planted with trees and flowers and enjoy the clean air.
One of the main attractions of the park is the monument to 28 Panfilovites, installed in the center of the square. It is a tall bronze statue depicting a soldier holding a submachine gun. Around the statue there are memorial plaques with the names of the fighters who died in the battle.
In addition to the monument, there are also many other interesting places in the park. For example, a zoo where visitors can see various species of animals, including rare fauna. There is also a playground where children can play on swings and slides.
Another popular place in the park is the Panorama Cafe, where you can sit on the terrace and enjoy the view of the city. It serves local and European cuisine, as well as a variety of drinks.
The Park of 28 Panfilov Guards is a popular holiday destination for residents and guests of Almaty. Here you can always find something interesting for yourself, whether it's a walk through the green alleys, a visit to the zoo or relaxing in a cafe overlooking the city.
This park is wonderful, a wonderful location that combines history, cathedral, eternal flame, monuments, pines, oaks, everything perfectly combines this park,
A beautiful, quiet, clean place to relax, in the very center of the metropolis. When you walk along the alley of WWII heroes, it's like you're touching history. The monument to Panfilov is very impressive
A nice park in the city center for walking. In the evening, you can sit in the cool of the trees after a hot day. There are always a lot of people around the cathedral.
Just a wonderful park! We walked with our family, fed squirrels, and played volleyball. There is a great lack of QR codes on commemorative plaques to find out the history of each one. A clean and well-maintained park. If you are passing through Almaty, then this is one of the most visited attractions!
A great atmospheric place, a piece of silence in a noisy city, if you go deep into the park. You can also enjoy the architecture of the cathedral and monuments. Feed the pigeons and squirrels.
MEMORY is here! Here Is A Tribute To THE PEOPLE WHO WON THE WAR! AND NOT ONLY AT THE DUBOSEKOVO RIDING... The legendary Momysh-Uly is here... Panfilov ... Monumentality... Grief... Eternal flame!!!
A great place to walk in the city center. The park is full-fledged, a very favorite for the townspeople. Here you can feed pigeons with your hands and pet them, ride a carriage drawn by black horses. There is an eternal flame and a monument here
I love this park)
There is a huge memorial of the Great Patriotic War on the territory of the park, an eternal flame is burning in memory of the fallen defenders.
At the entrance to the park from Gogol Street there are pedestals with WWII cannons.
In the park you can not only walk, but also do sports: run, do Nordic walking - there are special paths for this.
Special sports grounds are equipped.
There is a whole playground for children near the Ascension Cathedral: there you can feed pigeons, ride children's cars, there is a children's steam train with wagons that will take your children around the park.
There is also an opportunity to ride in a carriage, like Cinderella)
There is no special parking. They park along the park along Gogol and Kazbek Bi streets.
There is a beautiful Orthodox Ascension Cathedral, built without a single nail.
There are many restaurants in the park.
There is also a museum of folk instruments.
There are free clean restrooms in the park.
A beautiful park, a very pleasant place to walk, and in the park itself there are two wonderful places: the Ascension Cathedral of 1907 and the Park of the 28 Panfilovs. Every year we go to the 9th of May. I advise you to visit if you are a tourist
We were passing by and decided to drop into the park, take a walk to the church. Going inside, we were unpleasantly surprised by the larger number of tourists who arranged photo shoots right in the temple… I couldn't stand it and we left. The temple itself is very beautiful inside, services are held
This park is full of memories and pleasant emotions. An analogue of Central Park in New York))) not on such a scale, of course, but there is something in common. A great place to be alone with yourself or on the contrary to spend leisure time with family and friends.
A well-maintained park with centuries-old fir trees and beautiful fir trees, and lots of benches. There are many interesting objects on the territory: a church with an interesting history, historical monuments, playgrounds for children.
It's a beautiful place.Almaata is generally a beautiful and beloved city. And the park itself, in my opinion, is in complete disrepair, the old oaks have been preserved, the lawns are decorated, a quiet, peaceful place to relax. I do not know what balance it consists of, but the administration, in my opinion, well done!
I love walking here, sitting on a bench, breathing fresh air and enjoying watching the kids as they coolly ride scooters and bicycles and roller skates
The historical place is... quiet.. monument to heroes:- Panfilovites are fascinated by the view, the Ascension Cathedral of the early 1900s without a single nail is still popular. Do not pass by
A great park. Well maintained and clean. There are benches for relaxation and even a toilet. In winter, the ice rink is flooded. In general, I recommend it for walking and relaxing ⭐
A historical place steeped in the history of the city. A favorite place to relax in summer on a hot day. The church is beautiful. The only thing is that there are a lot of merchants of all kinds. And at night there are packs of dogs on the territory.
A good place, a temple in the center. It's clean, there are cafes and a large area where pigeons are fed. It's good that they honor the memory of the heroes.
Just a great place for the whole family. It is also a very large and beautiful temple. There are many pametnik in this park, you can see and learn a lot. This is our story
A historical and atmospheric place. You can have a picnic, clean lawns, you can go to the temple to put candles and pray, you can ride horses. Take a break from the city noise in the shade of ancient trees
One of my favorite parks here is the cathedral, there is also a monument to 28 Panfilovites. You can take a walk with children, you can take a walk with a loved one. Beautifully green-cozy-soulful. What else can I say? Who hasn't been yet, come, rate, you will really like it!
An ordinary park. Small. I liked the Orthodox church in the center. And I am very glad that the monument, inscriptions and the eternal flame at the monument of 28 Panfilov residents have been preserved
An amazing place to walk and relax. I am constantly in this park, walking, sitting on my toes watching people walking) I enjoy the beauty of nature of this beautiful park
In good weather, it's nice to take a walk, there are a lot of greenery and trees. There is silence during the walk, you just can't hear the traffic, cool paths in all directions
The memory of our great-grandfathers in this park. We will always remember them. The park is very clean and well maintained. On May 9, songs are sung in the park every year. There is also an eternal flame and a monument to twenty-eight Panfilovites.
The most unloved park in the city. It has a beautiful cathedral, a monumental monument, striking in size, generally nice and well maintained, but..... Just crowds of people and an unrealistic number of pigeons and pigeons, you know what. They literally cling to the baby carriage, forcing you to run away, headlong
It is a very thematic place , we go here every ninth of May , there is parking , there are 2 museums on the territory, and a church, a large territory, a lot of monuments
Since childhood, I have loved military subjects. And this park is just for those who remember the past and do not forget the feat of their fathers, a low bow. Special thanks for the monuments of Baurzhan Momyshuly and Ivan Vasilyevich.👍
This park is my place of strength, you always fill up spiritually here, and you can come both in summer and in winter, the effect is the same, the soul is just resting, the victory monument and the alley of presidents, and, of course, the alley of the 28 Panfilov Heroes themselves, history and soul.
I really love the park named after 28 Panfilov Guards. This is a great place to relax, take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy nature.
