The park is pleasant to visit, there are many trees, which is why the paths in the shade are not so hot, there are flower beds, quite well-groomed. Bike paths are provided for those who like to travel on wheels.
I really liked the temple, one of the historical buildings of the city, they allowed me to take photos inside.
And since the park is dedicated to wartime, there are several monuments to war heroes and the eternal flame.
Also, if I'm not mistaken, there is a museum in a wooden building of the late 19th century. Unfortunately, we did not have time to visit it.
The park is amazing ... and in the rain and snow and in the heat ... take a walk to relax ... there is a museum of Kazakh music on the territory, a church and you can relax and enjoy the beauty
Calm, beautiful, squirrels, pigeons (sell nuts, etc.), there are playgrounds and benches, mini-cafes, free toilets) I recommend visiting, fresh air and rest of the soul.
It's beautiful and cozy. Squirrels all over the park! Flocks of pigeons are right on their heels, begging for grain. The trees are like in a fairy tale, It's nice to take a walk, relax. There is an active Cathedral on the territory .
One of the most beautiful sights of the city. Hundreds of tourists every day, the quietest and brightest place for believers, friendly parishioners, a church shop separately on the street
Among the advantages: good location, large territory, some kind of good atmosphere, many places where children can ride,
Of the cons:there are few toilets, many people drive on the roads for pedestrians (separately for pedestrians)
A beautiful park with gorgeous trees! A majestic temple of extraordinary beauty. It is a matter of respect and pride that the memory of the feat of Panfilov in the Second World War has been preserved.
It's super cool there! You can relax, you can walk, you can just sit with your friends and with friends and family, or just be interesting there alone! Everything is nearby in the city center!
A very cozy, well-maintained park! I visited it back in 1980, since then it has become more beautiful! The trees have grown taller! A beautiful Orthodox Cathedral, completely wooden! One thing makes me happy: there used to be a national restaurant in the park, which was served there "bishbarmak"! I still remember! And now, in October 2023, there is a restaurant in the park, but only celebrations are held there, and it is not possible to just go in, order and eat. They advise you to go further to the food market and have something to eat. It's a pity! But for visiting and relaxing, the park is just wonderful!
I liked walking here, spending time on the benches, watching the passers-by. A well-maintained park. A beautiful, restored temple, a memorial with an eternal flame, a museum of musical instruments, you will not regret going. A separate program on the playground during the day is feeding pigeons, here in the evening walking children and adults on cars :)
Be sure to visit, take a walk, feed the pigeons.there is no special entertainment, purely light walks among the trees. In summer it is very green, cool, squirrels run around …
My favorite park! It is especially pleasant to walk there in the morning, when it is cool and few people)))
There is a very beautiful Orthodox cathedral on the territory.
It's a very beautiful place. Relax and breathe the pine air. Go for a walk with the kids. Visit memorable places. All this is possible in the Park of 28 Panfilov residents.
A wonderful park, a wonderful place to relax, in the middle of the old cathedral.
You can feed pigeons and squirrels, they sell food. You can ride a horse.
Eternal Flame, WWII monuments.
A beautiful park. A stunning war memorial. It is very gratifying that so many young people come to the Eternal Flame. There is a great military museum nearby!
A beautiful park in the center! It is very beautiful , there are monuments to the Second World War and a very beautiful church. I walk there regularly with my family! I recommend it to everyone and I think all visitors come here first! Clean , cozy , there are restaurants and cafes nearby , as well as hotels near the Arbat ! Very convenient location!
I visited it recently.
This is really a TEMPLE!
Majestic, solemn, beautiful. The interior is like a TEMPLE.
It attracts - you will not pass by, even if you did not plan to.
It's just a pity that the doors are open until 18.00. Not everyone can come in and pray after a hard day's work.
I'm impressed!
A very beautiful, quiet, clean, peaceful place where you can relax!!! In addition, squirrels and a black dog run around quietly, and all people feed them!!!The atmosphere in the park calls for people to come and admire the comfort and beauty of nature!!! I am very grateful to you that there is a quiet and peaceful place where you can relax!!!! Thank you very much!!!!
A great place for people of different ages to relax. Clean, cozy. It was in the summer. Young bards sang songs nearby, and kids ran, and pensioners walked, and walked with flowers to the eternal flame.
Thank you to our friends from sunny and warm Kazakhstan for not allowing our kind-hearted relationship to be destroyed!!! Thank you to their ancestors for saving our ancestors during the Great Patriotic War and we were born!!!
Thank you to contemporaries that they remember this and honor their feat!!!
!!
The historical place of the city. Clean, well-groomed, beautiful. One of the Oases, among the stone jungles of the city. The ice rink is open in winter. At reasonable prices.
One of the places of power of our city! In the heat, you can hide near watering lawns, in the morning squirrels are friendly waiting for sweets, pigeons delight children all year round, the cathedral fascinates with its beauty!
A great park. He visited the Ascension Cathedral. The height is 41.4 to the crosspiece of the bell tower or 54 m in total. It is one of the tallest wooden churches in the world. The original designs of the high-rise building ensured the reliability of the structure during the earthquake of 1910. It was built entirely of wooden parts connected to each other by metal fasteners. "At a grandiose height, it was a very flexible structure. His bell tower swayed and bent like the top of a tall tree and worked like a flexible beam." Only the bent cross reminds of the earthquake...
This park has its own history, there was a dance floor, winter slides for children. Over time , everything is in the past . And so everything is well-groomed, clean and cozy.
A nice park in the old city center, good landscaping, monuments. The only thing that overshadows the glut of entertainment cars and other entertainment from local enterprising people.
The park itself is not bad. But it is not at all clear why there is a religious building in its center, in a place of mass walks of the general public. And it is even more unclear why the Orthodox Church turned out to be such a structure, given that: 1) Kazakhstan is a secular state, 2) in which the majority of the population are Kazakhs who profess Islam.
No, I am not in favor of a mosque standing on the site of the church. I am in favor of the church standing outside the park.
Not a big park, in the city center, clean, nice to walk in this place. Of the cons, merchants of various services, but this does not prevent it from being a good place to relax.
Beautiful park, nice to walk around. The Ascension Cathedral is magnificent. The only thing that spoils it is feeding pigeons in the square behind the cathedral and it's a pity that no one rides horses, they stand all day just like that.
It is not very large in area, but it is quite green and cozy park. On the territory there is the Ascension Cathedral of incredible beauty, several memorials. The museum of musical instruments, located in a wooden building, is getting used to the park. There is a sports ground
I like to walk there, the air is good, thanks to the large number of coniferous trees on which squirrels jump. Very clean. A very beautiful cathedral, both outside and inside. Eternal Flame, May 9, we bring flowers there. We go there to feed the pigeons with our granddaughter, there are always a lot of children, you can rent a car or scooter for them, ride a real horse or pony, or ride along the paths of the park in a beautiful carriage.
A worthy place, a park, the memorial complex itself, a temple in the center of the park!
Thank you for the memory and such an attitude towards our common history! I am proud of you, us and our Great Victory!
Historical and cultural center. Here, the feeling of pride for our heroic ancestors is the strongest. The memorial complex impresses with its scale! There are also enough places for entertainment. And all this is among the centuries-old fir trees. This is the pearl of our city!
A very nice park in the city center. It is always very clean , you can safely walk with the children . Lots of benches. A wonderful monument to our heroes of the Patriotic War. There is also a Cathedral on its territory. I just wish there were more toilets, not one for such a large area.
It is beautiful and interesting because the trees around and the structure are good for recreation.I advise everyone to visit if you want to relax and take a walk in the silence
Great park! I often walk there!
A fantastic Memorial, a Cathedral of beauty unwritten in the rays of the sun!...
I have never seen so many pigeons in one place! Spoiler - at the Cathedral from Gogol's side. If desired, you can shoot a steep passage through a flying flock of pigeons
A small park. Everything is well maintained. It was unexpected to see groups of tourists from Germany, to whom the guides told about the Great Patriotic War at the monument. Parking is not easy.
A beautiful place, and everything around is beautiful)
You can go for a walk and exercise.
In the evening, young people gather, play "volleyball" without a net, in a large company.
Hello Everyone, the Park named after 28 Panfilov Guards is a super beautiful cozy park and a very interesting place for recreation of any age In contact with nature and history. We need to create more such places
One of the beautiful green parks in the city. If someone took over its landscaping, they would put paid animal feeders so that people would stop feeding them anything. Separate trails and interactive dog walking activities. Activities for children and adults would be one of the best parks. Although it is small, the number of visitors is huge.
A great park for walking and relaxing. It is maintained in excellent condition. Monument maintenance and landscaping. A beautiful Orthodox church. Thanks to the authorities for preserving the memory of the glorious heroes of the Second World War.
It is a very comfortable and beautiful place, quite historical, there would be more of them so that young people would know and admire our history, our nature.
Good, beautiful, clean. It's quiet on weekdays .In the evenings, you can meet homeless people, alcoholics, etc. on the benches. characters! It's nice to take a walk on weekends!
I didn't see any cafes in the park, except for small hamburgers. The sidewalks are clean, the trees are well maintained. The park has its own microclimate. In general, I liked everything.
A wonderful park for cultural recreation. Especially with children. Pigeons have settled here for a long time, accustomed to feed, fly up in a huge flock. And for children, you can always buy something from sweets, toys, especially in the summer. There is an eternal flame in memory of 28 Panfilov Guards, next to the Museum of National Instruments near the park. The area of the park is crowded, as the Green Bazaar market, the Turkish Delight confectionery factory with a shop, the Central Mosque, TSUM, Arbat, Metro, KazNPU named after Abai, the park of the Central Park named after him are within walking distance.Gorky, polyclinic #1, Otyrar hotel, bus and trolleybus stops in all directions of the city.
The landmark of Almaty with a temple in the center of the park. Unfortunately, in recent years it has been transformed from a place for comfortable and family walks into a market where everything is sold. It is necessary to refine and reconstruct with the allocation of separate places for the sale of all kinds of cotton candy and toys. The park should be a park.
The park is historic, with beautiful tall trees and lots of squirrels. But there are absolutely no children's objects. The museum of Musical instruments and other historical buildings are also attracted. But: Horses are constantly shitting on the roads. All the benches have been removed from the main square near the temple - what is the park administration thinking about? Where should the elderly and mothers with children sit?
The park in Almaty, I took a walk, the bed of the park is a beautiful cathedral! It is very beautiful and green, I recommend visiting the park, and this wonderful city!
A good place to walk with your family! Feed the pigeons! You can buy food on the spot! Walk through the park, which is not cluttered with commercial booths and stalls!
