We were met by a very polite concierge, we had dinner at the cafe at the hotel, where everything was very tasty, our car was in a safe parking lot, everything was fine, but ... the sighs of vacationing guests were heard all night, which made it extremely difficult to sleep. And we were passing through to Astana and we really wanted to sleep. The cost is good, but there is one thing. Love Island in general.

This is a very nice hotel with an excellent cafe on the ground floor. An extensive menu, you can have a full breakfast, lunch and dinner until late.

Overall, a good hotel.
It is located in the northern part of Kostanay. It is convenient if you enter by car from Russia through the border crossing of Bugristoe.
There is a huge parking lot for cars behind the hotel building, passenger cars are parked for free for the guests of the Island, cargo 1500 tons per day.
Nearby is the largest shopping mall in the city - Kostanay Plaza.
It is better to book through the Island's own website - they give a 5% discount and do not require prepayment.
There are rooms for smokers - 2nd floor. Non-smoking rooms are on the 3rd and 4th floor. But, as cigarette smoke rises up, including through ventilation, it stinks of smoking in non-smoking rooms. And this is the main problem of this hotel - the smell of smoking is everywhere.
The furnishings in the rooms are acceptable, I lived in the studio - there is everything I need: a small refrigerator, air conditioning, a huge bed, a large TV on the wall, a kettle and dishes, bathrobes, slippers.
The plumbing is damaged, but everything works. Towels are changed every day.
Very tasty breakfasts on the menu, the cost of breakfast is about 2000 rubles.
The center of Kostanay can be reached by car in 10-15 minutes or by taxi in about 700-900t.
Very friendly staff at the reception.
An interesting system of estimated time is a day from the moment of arrival, that is, I stopped by at 16:30, I have to leave before 16:30 the next day. If plans have changed and you need to leave earlier, they recalculate and refund the money for every full day.

Very nice rooms, clean, the most comfortable beds of all the hotels we've been to. Internet, smart TV, refrigerator. The cafe deserves special respect, very tasty dishes with a large assortment, open until late in the evening, after closing, food can be ordered to the room at any time. A landline phone for communication with the hotel staff. In the courtyard there is a cottage building a little cheaper in price, almost as good in quality, but the noise insulation is simpler there, at night, when checking into neighboring rooms, you can hear every word, as well as all the processes in the toilet of the neighboring room. The prices for such a service are quite low. Maximum rating, thanks to the Ostrov hotel and its staff.

The most disgusting hotel and service.
I booked a two-bed room through the website, drove from the other side, previously wrote to the administrator to confirm the reservation and my room. Everything was confirmed. We arrived with the children at 3 a.m. We were shown to a room, and the room is a single room with one double bed. We are 1 adult and 5 children of different ages ) To my perplexity, to put it mildly, I was simply offered a cot) the administrator did not see it, the prices on the site were not correct, the management refused to give the number, the rooms are occupied, sleep as you want)
Thanks to the maids for being understanding and stealing all the probably free-standing sleeping places from the hotel.
The management did not call back, and did not bring any apologies.

The VIP room is eclectic, clean except for the toilet and kettle, did not use food, service per unit, payment only by cash or transfer, you cannot use a credit card. WiFi is not working. In principle, it will go for 4350, but a dirty toilet, a bathroom plug in a bag, because there is a hole in the plug and it does not fit the size of the hole in the bathroom. Incomprehensible demands for additional payment (deposit) for unused options, a smoky room, alconauts and prostitutes roaming the corridors. Only one of the 6 types of the so-called complex could get breakfast, there were no others. If you ask for 2 cups of coffee, the sandwiches will be removed from the set. And this is brief.

Like it. We lived in Comfort rooms in a Cottage. The territory is large, there is Parking. The staff is polite. Everything is clean. The rooms are very cozy. There is everything you need: dishes, a thermos in which you can collect water from the cooler. There is an ironing board in the hallway. There are dental kits and shower caps in the bathroom. I really liked that the check-out day is a calendar day, not a hotel day - check-out is before 12, no matter how many times you arrive. We checked in at night and left the next night. We rented a 4-bed room, it was quite cozy. The room has three rooms, two bedrooms and a living room, each with a TV. The bedrooms have high-quality mattresses and furniture. In the middle room (living room) there are comfortable sofas, air conditioning, a large mirror, a table, a cooler. But here's San.the node could be improved- a small sink, not a large shower cabin, creaks with every movement, for a tall or full person it is not an option at all, the hood almost does not work, humidity is increased.

There are also disadvantages - the presence of a sauna, a bar attracts marginals there. So I would not recommend staying there with children.
While we were waiting for a taxi to the airport, we were accosted by some drunk guy who was distracted as best he could by the receptionist. The guard seemed to be absent all this time. On the whole, it was peaceful.

I drove the road from Karaganda to Antalya, to be honest, this is the best hotel where I stayed. Honest and friendly staff. I rented an apartment. Large 3 rooms with two bedrooms, the room had everything, you don't have to take anything with you. Most importantly, the children liked it very much, there was a separate room for them. I really liked the hotel! The rooms are cozy, the furniture is very beautiful and new.
At first we checked into a standard room - very beautiful, but unfortunately at the time when we were there, we did not have an air conditioner connected (they were just hung up). We moved into a suite - in general, aerobatics, it's a pity for only 2 days))))
I recommend both standard and deluxe rooms.
The service is very high-quality. We haven't tried the kitchen.
The main advantage of this hotel is that you don't check out like everywhere else at 12, but at the same time when you checked in. This is an absolute plus, all hotels would switch to this mode..
