Perhaps this is the largest, most detailed, best, most-most museum about the Great Patriotic War. A magnificent exposition! Walking through the halls, you experience the whole range of emotions: pain from colossal human losses, compassion for the exhausted, tortured in camps, burned alive and poisoned in gas chambers, women, children, and the elderly. There are separate halls telling about the partisan movement in Belarus, one of the most massive in that war. You experience a storm of positive emotions in the Hall of Fame, where the names of those who died for the Motherland, for Victory, and for us to live in a free country are carved in gold letters in stone. And nostalgia for that huge, invincible, great country called the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics will involuntarily rush in.
Only by visiting this museum can you realize that at that time there was no stronger and more powerful fist capable of stopping this fascist infection.
I really liked the museum. Thoughtful, interesting installations, many artifacts of both Soviet and German. The ticket price is acceptable. I advise you to visit.
A world-class museum. Gorgeous expositions, interestingly decorated areas, wax figures look very natural, there are a lot of different exhibits. A must-visit! The cost is 11 rubles. for an adult.
I liked the museum, it's big, I recommend going with an escort guide, the price is reasonable, cleanliness everywhere, a lot of interesting things. A must-visit.
We were on a guided tour of this museum. The exhibits are interesting, you don't have time to look, the guide is in a hurry to meet the hour. We got a very young guide, a girl named Daria, who spoke very softly, chattered, lost her way. Tired of walking (4 floors)
The Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War in Minsk is not just a museum, it is a place where you can plunge into the atmosphere of that time, feel the full weight of the war and pay tribute to all those who fought for our country. The museum's exposition is rich, with full-size models and real samples of military equipment that impress visitors. The guide takes us through all the halls of the museum quickly, but very informative, it is a pleasure to listen to his story. We were very impressed by visiting this museum and recommend it to anyone interested in the history of the Great Patriotic War.
I recommend every guest of Minsk to find time and get to this wonderful museum! Everything is very colorful and realistic! Be sure to take tickets from the excursions! The guide tells it so colorfully, everything is so competent right up to the goosebumps! My family and I are delighted! The best place in the last 5 years!
What can I say?.. It is simply unbearable to be in some halls: my chest aches, tears come to my eyes, and my mind refuses to somehow realize and accept all the horrors that the Soviet people went through during the Great Patriotic War. I couldn't look at the paintings of the artist M. Savitsky, the hero of Belarus, who was imprisoned in a concentration camp during the war. His paintings poignantly convey the artist's memories of that terrible time. The museum itself contains a huge number of exhibits, interesting expositions. It is necessary to visit it, take children and teenagers, tell and visually show what war is.
We accidentally got on a sightseeing tour, as they explained to us, they sign up for such an excursion two months in advance. The tour itself lasts 1.5 hours. It is, of course, compressed, but, in my opinion, necessary, after it you can wander around the museum
on your own. P.S. I attached photos of German commanders from the museum specifically to my review. Look at how brazenly and confidently they feel on our territory. This shouldn't happen. Therefore, they were destroyed at any cost.
Interesting large-scale expositions of fragments of battles, everyday life, military equipment and weapons of the Great Patriotic War. I recommend you to visit.
The exposition is amazing.
The first thing that struck me was the USSR flag on the museum building.
Everything is collected with love, there is great respect for the fallen in the war and our victorious grandfathers
I really liked the museum, especially my husband, who is interested in old weapons, was impressed. The exposition is large with 11 halls each dedicated to its own theme,
The best museum I've been to, it's interesting for the whole family, well done, the people of the Republic, honor their history. The USSR flag on the dome deserves special respect!
An amazing museum. A huge number of exhibits. Interesting installations. Inside, you can feel the strength of the spirit of our soldiers and the bitterness and horror of a terrible war. I recommend everyone to visit
The only state institution on which the flag of the USSR flies all year round!
Hooray for the Soviet people who saved the world from the brown plague!
Museum for 5+. There are many exhibits, life-size installations. I recommend it to everyone!
The family visited the museum. We were impressed. Tanks, weapons, military clothes and many other things are real. Who created this museum did a great job!
It is difficult to talk about such places, especially when they tell how the people were exterminated en masse, especially on Belarusian soil. The ticket office offered a guided tour, the guide spoke clearly and answered questions. The exposition is gorgeous, people work who love their job. You will be greeted by the Kholm gate of the Best fortress, the inscriptions of soldiers on the wall and Mark Naumovich with "Cranes". I advise everyone. go with a guide, and then look at all the expositions yourself.
We got to the group with an excursion, the girl talked colorfully, tried to answer questions about events and exhibits. Like it. The museum is compact and at the same time has a large volume of exhibits.
An excellent museum, I recommend visiting with children. The future generation should know the history and keep the memory of the feat of their ancestors. There are storage rooms for things, a wardrobe, a toilet. There is a lot of interactive content, a large number of authentic exhibits. A decent museum. All the best and further prosperity to all involved in the organization of this space.
An excellent museum commemorating the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. As for me, in order to popularize the history of the Great Patriotic War, admission to such museums should be free. This is what should help young people and children to know and remember the history of their country.
It's a very cool museum, I already burst into tears. great sound accompaniment, very realistic technique, a lot of paintings, I came from Brest, I did not regret it)))
If you are in Minsk, and even if you or your children decide that the museum of the Great Patriotic War is boring and uninteresting, drive away these thoughts and go to the museum- it will turn you and your heart and soul over. Especially if you are lucky, like us, and you get on a tour (they are there at 13 and 15.00). First of all, the respectful attitude of the people working there to everything around them is immediately amazing, the organization and competence are amazing. Daria led the tour. She was able to attract teenagers in such a way as to tell very complex things in simple language that the children, even returning to the hotel, searched a lot on the Internet, which there were stories about. Almost all the samples are authentic, the installation of a partisan village, paintings about Savitsky's concentration camps, just leave such a range of feelings. At the same time, despite the horror of the events, the entire exhibition carries with each hall an ever-increasing sense of hope and ends with a stunning view of the sky and a list of heroes, armies who gave their lives for the liberation of our Homeland, the whole of Europe, the whole world. Special thanks to Natalia Obukhova, who could not stay away and, putting aside her business, gave us and the children a tour of the exhibition of international conflicts after the war - Angola, Ethiopia, Afghanistan, etc. Be sure to visit this room too! So many exhibits and documents! I would also like to note with what love and respect the staff emphasize that the director of the museum does everything to ensure that the museum carries out its educational, historical and educational mission. In general, be sure to go. And thanks a lot to all the staff
A very strong place!
A coolly organized space that will take you back to the era of the Second World War and guide you along the path from the beginning of this terrible war to victory itself, leaving an indelible impression.
I liked everything very much, I disagree with previous reviews about the excursions, we came up at 15 minutes to 16 hours, got there without any problems. It is not very convenient that you cannot return to the halls you have passed in the reverse order, just start from the beginning. Interesting expositions made with love for their history, their people and their country.

The exposition is excellent, there is a large park nearby, free Parking. The guides are indistinct (chattering). Cafe for three: the assortment is very poor, you will not be able to eat normally.
It is grandiose, worthy of respect and the deepest bow!
It is informative for young people and not only. Thank you to Belarus for the worthy memory and honor of the past!
I was with my nephew at the weekend. I liked everything. It's a nice, big museum. there are many expositions. everything is conveniently done and inexpensive entrance tickets.
A large, good museum with themed halls and an excellent exposition. I highly recommend you to visit.
I advise you to buy a guided tour.
There are a lot of photos with comments in the exhibition. You can't read everything.
A great museum. There are many different equipment, exhibits, and documents. Spacious halls. There are guided tours. There is a fountain and a park nearby.
We have visited this museum many times, I really like it. There are many exhibits, friendly and attentive staff, spacious halls. Each guide accompanying the group tells an interesting and competent story. I recommend it for visiting at any age.
That's great! An amazing place that is very relevant! There are many excursions with children. A huge number of exhibits. A great and very important job was done creating this museum. We must not forget. You can't! A must-visit!
A museum worth visiting! It is better with an excursion, the price of an adult ticket is 11 bel. rub.. + the tour is 8 bel.rub for about 1 hour. The guides are young people (a girl or a young man). They tell with enthusiasm ☺️ Two halls are inspected independently. The museum differs from others with interactive expositions and real exhibits. We liked it very much. 😍
I love this museum, it's spacious, lots of air, consistent arrangement of halls, you won't get confused. Impressive full-length models of people, scenes from life, a fairly large collection of paintings by Savitsky. After viewing the entire exposition, the upper Victory Hall makes an impression, solemnly and beautifully
A magnificent museum. The exposition is amazing. Everything is big. 4 floors of history. Very interesting documentaries of that time. There are a lot of archival documents and publications, authentic things.
A very good museum. He will introduce both locals and visitors to the history of Belarus during the Second World War. A very large exclusion.
Children will walk around the halls with interest.
Colleagues who were there advised me to visit the museum. Thanks to the guide, a wonderful girl, the tour is not long. It is gratifying that Belarusians honor and preserve history.
A magnificent museum! It was made with soul, and with close attention from the era of the Second World War, a huge number of expositions, military equipment, photographs, weapons, various military artifacts, finds of those times. With the help of competently recreated expositions, you immerse yourself in the atmosphere and only good memories of such a beautiful place remain.
The museum is very cool. There are many documentary evidences of the war, as well as very cool expositions - both the tank battle and the life of the partisans. The tour is very interesting. It is a must-visit if you are in Minsk for the first time.
It is highly advisable for those born after the collapse of the Soviet Union to go here. Be sure to take a guided tour! It won't be the same without a guide. It's a pity that the tour covers only about half of the exhibits, but you can then go through and read the rest yourself.
The memory of the Great Patriotic War is preserved and honored here.
