One of the best museums of the Great Patriotic War.
I went there on weekdays in the morning, at first my wife and I were alone and the museum was empty. But a couple of hours later, a lot of people came. As in the Hermitage in St. Petersburg.
It was very pleasant that so many people visit such iconic and important places for our peoples.
A very fascinating exhibition, it makes you stop at each exhibit and think. While visiting some corners of the halls, I was overwhelmed with emotions, I had to hold back tears.
Thanks to the veterans for our happy future
The museum is well represented, but I would like a larger volume and scale. I did not like the behavior of the attendants in the hall, because they were with the child and had to take him to the sofa, he was tired and wanted to sit and relax. We walked for two hours. Therefore, the two halls passed very quickly. While the child was resting, I decided to return to the gym. But they forced me to leave an empty hall, they said there was only an exit, and to start watching, you need to start everything from the first floor (we were on the third), go through all the halls and enter this hall. We were shocked, after walking through 8 halls and two hours, did not look at anything else, turned around and just left. We have been to the Hermitage more than once, there was no such thing.

Amazing exposition! Real-time military equipment! Planes, tanks, guns, nearby people mannequins in the image of the military, as if alive ...
Interesting bathroom artifacts, an exhibition of small arms.
I recommend it for a visit!
I bet 5 🌟 zorak!
Excellent exposure. It is mandatory for every patriot to visit. The guides chatter as if they are in a hurry. It would be necessary to diversify the stories with some interesting stories. The staff member conveyed more information in 5 minutes of communication than the tour guide during the entire process.
I haven't been to museums for a long time…
Everything that is presented in the Museum of the history of the Second World War is shown in great detail and accessible. There is a lot of information about the events of those years. Honestly, it gives me the creeps.
If you are in Minsk, try to visit this museum. You NEED to know the story, and of course remember it.
All expositions are very well executed, every detail is thought out, everything is imbued with love for the exhibits. The museum is interesting for both adults and children. The design is wonderful. I advise everyone who happens to be in Minsk to go to the museum.
Oh, it's just a heartbreaking place!!!! 4 floors of incredible expositions, installations, as well as authentic exhibits! I did not remember the name of the guide (a young girl with blond wavy hair) led the tour with such anguish that tears flowed and there was a lump in her throat! I recommend that all guests of Minsk visit this museum first of all!
There are no disadvantages. Everything is at the highest level. I was very impressed!I advise all guests of Minsk to visit this museum.

The exposition is excellent, there is a large park nearby, free Parking. The guides are indistinct (chattering). Cafe for three: the assortment is very poor, you will not be able to eat normally.
An amazing museum! Interactive, information is good for children, friendly staff.
As many as 3 floors of space.
A wonderful exhibition of paintings.
Next time we'll take a guide!!
We were with the children for the first time in Minsk in the summer and of course visited this museum. Very interesting expositions, memorable. I advise you to take a guided tour. The upper hall under the dome is very beautiful, bright, iconic. Despite significant losses, the end of the war and our Victory is exactly that bright time after a terrible and gloomy period. I advise you to visit.
An excellent museum: many halls, everything is accessible and informative. A large amount of military equipment is on display, and very realistic fragments of wartime life are presented.
I have never seen such reverent respect for the history of the Great Patriotic War in any museum .The iron boot of fascism passed bloodily through the Belarusian land like none of the territories of the USSR Republic, every third inhabitant was ground by the millstones of this tragedy...The hard work of the museum staff has been completed ! Most of the exhibits are genuine items. I recommend taking a guided tour: accompanied by a professional guide, let us create a holistic view of this page of history. We were very lucky that Timofey was our guide (unfortunately, I did not remember the last name). Timofey has excellent command of the material! Gradually, from stand to stand, his story about the first days of World War II moved on to the Great Patriotic War... And tears in my eyes and goosebumps on my body - emotions are very strong! I definitely recommend the Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War in Minsk to visit!
The best museum dedicated to the Great Patriotic War, of all that I have seen.
A lot of equipment, weapons, household items of soldiers and home front workers. Detailed expositions on a real scale.
It is grandiose, worthy of respect and the deepest bow!
It is informative for young people and not only. Thank you to Belarus for the worthy memory and honor of the past!
A beautiful and educational place. In this case, it will be interesting and informative for a person of any age! Very rich compositions. There are video tutorials and an audio guide. I recommend you to visit.
A magnificent museum. Excellent expositions. The caretaker is always ready to help. I would like to see more understandable signs indicating the direction of the exposition. I compare views on the Great Patriotic War in different republics. They are very close to the canonical ones in Belarus and Armenia.
I've never seen anything like it before. A museum worthy of the memory of heroic ancestors. We are pleased with the large number of children in the halls of the museum.
A very atmospheric place, a must-visit, we were with children, everyone found a response in the soul. The halls are themed, it is better to put 3-4 hours for a visit
A great museum. Modern, comfortable and well organized. The emphasis is on small arms, personal belongings and awards of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. A very rich exposition.
A very interesting museum. We were with a child of 8 years old and a grandfather. We came to the opening, walked quite freely through the halls of the museum. The exposition is arranged chronologically, there are many interesting exhibits. In general, it takes a lot for the soul, but in some places there was not enough music to complete the sensations, but I'm already finding fault with that)))) An excellent informative museum. The child, a fan of WWII museums, was satisfied.
We came from Russia (Ufa, Bashkiria) to your museum as a family - two adults and children aged 11 and 15. To say that you liked it is to say nothing. The museum is spacious, comfortable, many interesting exhibits, many originals. The guide Tatyana Vladimirovna worked with us - she not only knows the material for sure, but also knows how to present it. I was born in 1980, I found the Union and its collapse. It is very pleasant that your museum honors the memory and our common history so much. It is very pleasant that in your museum the guides convey information as we were taught at school and as our parents and grandfathers told us, and do not rewrite history. It was very nice to hear about my compatriots as heroes, and they are. Many stories, such as about the talisman clock or letters from soldiers from the front to their relatives and friends, made me cry in the truest sense of the word. All the exhibits are in excellent condition, it is clear that they are carefully cared for. Thank you for keeping the memory of our common history alive and passing it on to the next generations. Thank you very much to Tatiana Vladimirovna for this knowledge and these emotions. Many thanks to the administrator (I'm sorry, I don't know your name) for coming to meet us and organizing an unplanned tour in advance and providing us with such a wonderful storyteller. Like Tatyana Vladimirovna, I would like to have all the teachers at all universities and schools and all the guides. Development and prosperity for your museum. And to all Belarusians, good health and a peaceful sky above their heads.
It is worth visiting this museum. There is a lot of information, a lot of interesting things. In short, you need to see everything for yourself. Very impressive
We definitely recommend visiting either with a guide or with an audio guide (we took it) to feel the atmosphere and learn more information. It is better to count 2.5 hours. Interesting expositions to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of that time.
I cannot express my admiration in words! How carefully and with love and respect this museum was created. The expositions are interesting and informative. From the first minutes, "goosebumps" that did not let go until the end of the exposition. I bow low for what has been preserved, restored and passed on to future generations. This must not be forgotten!!! Eternal memory to the heroes!
An amazing museum. You definitely need to put in a few hours to visit him. It is obligatory for teenagers and all those who vaguely understand the importance and value of WWII for our history
Wonderful expositions, a lot of exhibits are touching to the depths of the soul.
But there is one "but", the museum is open until 19.00, but you can get an audio guide only until 17.00 ...
And without an audio guide it is difficult to cover all the variety of exhibits....
An interesting, informative museum. We had a guided tour. It was very interesting to tell, but too fast. After the tour, there is an opportunity to explore on your own, but you must follow the order of movement through the halls. You won't spoil me.
A magnificent Monumental structure. A quiet place. A very good selection of historical photographs, documents, and exhibits. One of the only places where the history of the Great Patriotic War is really remembered and honored. I bow low to the organizers and to all who have participated and are taking part in this sacred cause.
Very nice women at the entrance, even talked to the child, told everything how and where it is better to start and what is interesting for the child (like a children's room)
The museum is very strong, but in Belarus the heroes are Belarusians, partisans are Belarusians and other Belarusians. I know that Belarus was liberated by a Soviet soldier, but they don't say that here - they say that Belarusians and other fighters liberated Belarus.... I'm at a loss.... Only you can draw conclusions
The excellent exposition, the great hall and the partisan hall were very memorable. An art gallery dedicated to Nazi prisoners also makes an impression, albeit a heavy one.
A good museum! Worthy of the capital! High-quality expositions, lovingly selected material.
I was pleased that both toddlers and older children are taken to this museum. Everyone needs to know their story!
A good technological museum. Please note that guided tours of the museum are held until 16:00. It is also interesting to wander by yourself, but not everything is clear. There are many halls for inspection.
My son visited the museum in January.I was very impressed. My husband and I went there, we had wanted to for a long time...The exhibition halls are made very conveniently. The expositions are excellent.I remembered something from history, from the stories of the grandfathers and grandmothers participating in the protests. We learned something new and felt it.There are a lot of visitors on a weekday.I was very pleased-there are a lot of young people, they go to study-unaccompanied by adults!!!

This is a national repository of material and spiritual monuments of military history of 1941-1945. Both equipment and expositions of the war years are presented here. Very impressive. A must-visit.
A very good museum. He will introduce both locals and visitors to the history of Belarus during the Second World War. A very large exclusion.
Children will walk around the halls with interest.
A wonderful museum! The expositions are done just fine. The children's room is very exciting. A solid positive after visiting the museum. I recommend everyone to visit.I'm sure you'll like it!
