A very good museum, even considering the comparison with museums and approaches to their design in St. Petersburg, where I consider museums to be among the best.
It is a very touching, penetrating place to the depths of the soul. Modern renovation and beautifully restored, preserved exhibits. It is clear that this topic has not been forgotten, that they are sensitive to it and this is excellent. The difficult fate of your country, the turning points of the 30-40s, appeared so vividly and objectively before our family. God bless Belarusians, happiness to you brothers, good luck, may this NEVER happen again.
A very beautiful museum, a huge exhibition of exhibits! Very good excursions and guides, there was a young girl very savvy and conducted an excellent tour, the exhibition is in excellent condition
A wonderful museum. It is very large, there are many expositions. The place to visit in Minsk, including with children. Interesting architecture. There is a beautiful park nearby.
It's a good tour, of course it's a little gloomy to hear all about the history of the Second World War, but it's true and you need to know it. The Hall of Fame is bright and covers the negativity from the story.
A gorgeous museum! There are so many thematic expositions! I went in, there was music from Cranes..immediately tears and so on until the end of viewing the entire museum. The time is at least 2 hours. I RECOMMEND you to visit! A very atmospheric place!!
The museum is impressive! Be sure to go with a guide. It was very interesting for us to listen. After that, I wanted to visit Khatyn, which we did later. Very interesting exhibits. Real tanks, planes. The picture gallery dedicated to the concentration camp was especially impressive.
Every name is expensive!
We don't forget every feat!
A very large-scale place. There are many exhibits. I really liked it. The paintings of the artist Savitsky make deep and strong impressions. I advise everyone to visit.
5 stars for the territory - everything is very well maintained as in the whole of Minsk. We arrived on Monday-the museum was not working. We had a great walk in the park. We hope to come to Minsk and visit the museum again
A wonderful museum. Great for both adults and children. You can take an audio guide, a guided tour, or just chat with the staff of the halls. It is interesting, informative, and intense.
A very interesting and informative museum for children and adults! Wonderful exhibitions and excellent guides. You get into what happened during the Great Patriotic War. I would say that for children, and adults too, this museum is a must-visit and more than once.
The Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, in general, everything is standard. In general, of course, it is interesting, interactive expositions with films, a lot of everyday life of that time. There is something to see.
There are big questions with the guides and the opening hours of this museum. It is very sad to understand that the museum is open until 18.00, which still needs to be reached. It is very sad when there is not a single guide, and when you arrived with friends from Belgium, they tell you that you had to make an appointment in advance for the guide, and you had to call the phone, recording only on it.
The service rules are terrible, the exposition is good, but you can add exhibits and descriptions of events, paintings and objects.
A very good museum, lots of installations, interactive screens, paintings and objects/documents of the era. Everyone will find their own. It's a pity we couldn't appreciate the park at the museum, but the museum itself is magnificent
A very cool museum. Stunning dioramas with life-size mock-ups of tanks. Not a bit worse than the Victory Museum in Moscow. If you liked the exposition in Victory Park, then be sure to visit the History Museum in Minsk.
Excellent and informative, they left very satisfied, the expositions are incredible, such a good museum complex and they follow it very well, it is 10 years old, and everything is as new. The price for 2 adults is 20 rubles
Incredibly touching and informative!
I want to come back again! I don't think we've even considered half of it)
The museum has guides. The story is very interesting.
I really liked it! The halls are filled with very high quality, interesting even for small children and demanding adults. Everything is realistic and atmospheric. The halls go through the course of the war by year and at the end of the victory hall!
Belarus preserves the memory of the feat of the peoples of the USSR in the Second World War..... The museum leaves a feeling of pride for the country... Conveys the tragedy of the people.... of Russia and its politics, history and facts....
I am delighted with the museum. There are a lot of exhibition halls, a lot of exhibits. I was pleased with the interactive system, you can come up, read what you are interested in, see battle maps, names of dead soldiers. If you take a tour, you can get more information about each exhibit. But we went by ourselves, without an excursion, but the impressions from this are no worse.
Majul Xenia. Private fire tour. I walked 5000km here by car, and when this nice girl came to me for an individual tour, I immediately thought, "If this museum is not heaven, then where did they get such an angel?".
God, she's so cute. And thank God that there are 4 floors in the museum, because I would have fallen in love with 5 completely. As she told, she showed. The voice is a delight to the ears. A great museum and a great guide was picked up for me. I have searched almost all of Siberia several times, half of Belarus, but... It is necessary to look for girls like in Belarus. What kind of Ksenia is sweet, pleasant and eats into the memory. I don't remember this happening to me. Cute girl. Beautiful eyes in these glasses, and smooth arrows only emphasized this beauty. Oh, yes, a review of the museum after all.... The museum is gorgeous, like many things in this country. As a person who is fond of repairing cars (after all, I have to drive around the ball alone), it was interesting to see a couple of motors that are also there as exhibits. The place is strong, and especially the 4th floor. Belarus really remembers, not with words, but also with deeds.
A very interesting and informative museum. There are many interesting exhibits, many interesting stories. Housing installations were made qualitatively. Sorry we didn't have time for the tour) Be sure to visit, there is something to see here.
The museum is great, it has been here a long time and now. There are more exhibits, the museum is large, but you won't get lost, there are signs. A huge collection of everything.
It's super! All exhibits are made according to the highest class!!! The guide is a great fellow - he tells a very interesting story about those difficult years, does not hurry anywhere, answers all questions without exception, pauses when moving to another hall until the whole group approaches him. The partisan hall was evaluated separately by the whole family. I recommend it to everyone to visit!
A wonderful museum with a unique collection of exhibits, I definitely recommend you to visit! It is interesting for both adults and children! A very worthy place!
It's an insanely cool museum, it's clear that they completely put their soul into it, the very concept is interesting that you go through the whole museum and step by step it leads you to a long-awaited victory, it gets through emotions everywhere
It was very nice to see that young people are also working and telling with interest about the events of the past years
There are many interactive expositions, we were very impressed
A wonderful museum. Wonderful exhibits. Very interesting excursions. This museum must be visited with children and teenagers. Good luck and prosperity to the museum staff!!!
I had free time in Minsk, a couple of hours. I visited the museum, I liked it. But if you have more time, take a visit with a guide, it will be interesting.
The museum will really help you to imagine the time that our grandparents went through. This cannot be conveyed , everything must be seen for yourself .
We were in Minsk on the weekend.First of all, we went to the museum.
Worthy. It's a pity we couldn't get a guide.A strong composition. We went out under the impression. We learned a lot of new things
It's very good that they take the kids on an excursion. It is useful to know and remember.
A magnificent museum. It is obligatory to visit with a guided tour. Four floors of exhibits. The museum began its work immediately after the liberation of the territory of Belarus. There is a beautiful park nearby.
A very iconic place, a bit pompous for me.
Reflects all stages and aspects of the war. A poignantly tragic story of destroyed villages and residents, a story of resistance.
There are always visitors. It is important. Memory cannot and should not disappear.

We were on an excursion on January 1, 2025. I really liked it, great expositions, decorated with dignity. The staff is polite, the halls and the territory are in perfect order.
The museum is simply magnificent. I haven't seen this anywhere else. It is so big, so detailed from the beginning of the war to its Victory, from the buttons on the tunic to people, tanks and airplanes in full size. It's breathtaking. So much work, so much has been collected. Moreover, everything is accompanied by light and sound. There are whole dugouts and operating rooms, you need to visit them and every city needs to have such a WWII museum! We are absolutely delighted. This is the first thing you must definitely visit when you arrive in Belarus.
