I advise you to visit if you like history, you like museums dedicated to the Second World War. 4 floors, beautiful modern expositions. We went with a guide, I really liked it
A large-scale museum. There is something to see. An understandable and interesting exposition, compiled in strict chronological order with a large number of interactive elements. The museum is multi-level. You seem to be moving through history, from hall to hall, passing by real samples of military equipment and entering the Victory Hall, which completes the museum's exposition. Many thanks for preserving our history. Of the cons. The connection of the bank card payment terminal does not work well in the cafe. It turned out that we paid for coffee and cakes twice. It is better to pay in cash.
We recommend you to visit. We did not take a tour and did not regret it, we visited the museum for 2.5 hours. Excursions are conducted at a fairly fast pace, you will have to return to view the exposition again. There are many interesting exhibits, paintings, diaramas.
An amazing exhibition. There are a lot of artifacts from the Great Patriotic War, various expositions of Soviet and German equipment, as well as various weapons.
We decided to start exploring Minsk with this museum, because there is no more important page in our history.
The exposition is very diverse, the exhibits clearly show how much our people paid for the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The majestic building, located in a picturesque place of the city, attracts a lot of attention. I will definitely come back again.
I liked the museum very much, the impressive expositions, tanks, planes and other equipment of the Second World War, the details in the little things. The museum is made with a soul and very responsibly. With eternal memory to those people who gave us freedom and life.
The museum, which, once in Minsk, you definitely need to visit! 4 floors with many reconstructions, themed halls, young guides👍 surprised a large number of foreign tourists
In general, the museum is good, there are many different installations. But in sunny weather, being on the top floor just hurts the eyes. Everything gold and glass glares reflects the sun's rays, very brightly and the eyes open with difficulty to read the inscriptions.
A gorgeous museum. I've been there a couple of times. Each time the tour was conducted in different ways. Different accents were made. There was a group from Russia nearby, they were presented with facts in a different way. But it's still interesting. At the entrance to the upper floor there was an interesting interactive curtain, now for some reason it does not work. And so it was a cool feature. I advise everyone to visit.
Magnificent! There are just not enough words to convey all the feelings that we experienced when visiting this museum. Thank God that there is a place where history is kept unchanged. Many visitors, like us, sniffed, well, it's just impossible to walk past individual expositions without tears...Special thanks to the caretaker of one of the halls Kolikova Alla Ivanovna, with her fascinating story she was able to interest our 5-year-old daughter. Be sure to visit if possible!
Probably the best museum of the Second World War, there are a lot of real exhibits. And also a very interesting and informative tour. There is an impressive fountain next to the museum.
In July 2024, my daughter and grandson visited the WWII Museum in Minsk. The grandiose scale, the greatest of all that we saw in the museum delighted us! Thanks to everyone who honors the memory of the heroes who won the Victory over fascism!
The museum is very rich in exhibits. Thanks to the delicate, friendly staff of the museum. We got a great impression. There was not enough time, so next year we will visit this place again.
We visited the museum during the January holidays of 2025. We took a general tour, unfortunately it was not possible to take an individual one for our company, as there were no available guides. We got a young man, the name was not specified, who very superficially, one might say, ran through the exhibits, but it's a pity. Nowadays, we need to actively involve young people in history. We went through all the halls ourselves more carefully. Of course, it's hard to plunge into that painful time full of pain and suffering, but we and subsequent generations simply have to remember and honor the feat of all those who brought peace to our lives at the cost of their lives.
An amazing museum! Everyone is interested! Both adults and children! Interactive expositions, archival materials, life-size equipment, and the majestic Victory Hall!
We have been to the museum twice and every time we go up to the Victory Hall, goosebumps run down my skin!…
We were together with our family. There are a lot of tourists and a very beautiful place. There are also many exhibits in the museum and the guides are good. We also really liked the tall stella.
An excellent museum of the history of the Second World War (the USSR flag is flying on the roof) . Everything is detailed and interesting. We went with a guide. He is a young man, but it is clear that he loves his job very much. If you are in Minsk, go, you will not regret it.
I've been wanting to visit the renovated museum for a long time, but I still can't. And now it finally happened. A big plus is that there is a parking lot. I liked the museum itself. Different compositions divided by type. There are sounds and even a peculiar smell. For example, where the tanks smell of oil or fuel oil, in the house there is the smell of a stove. Different impressions, realistic mannequins. Recommend.
We came to Minsk and specially visited this magnificent grandiose Museum together with the children! Impressive! It's amazing! Thank you very much! It must be remembered - how people fought Evil, how much they endured and withstood, and at what price they won! A MUST-visit!
I really liked it, the city administration tried very hard to create the museum, by the way, great respect to the girl, the administrator is very pleasant, explained everything clearly and contributed to the visit, in a word, well done.
I liked the museum more than in Moscow, although it is not large compared to Moscow, the ticket price includes a visit to all the exhibitions, not like in Moscow, you have to pay separately for some ...
Good luck to everyone...
An unforgettable experience! A gorgeous exposition, we got on a one-hour team tour-I'm just delighted! The guide Elizabeth is just a smart girl, knows a lot, owns the material.
I recommend you to visit.
The museum is informative, there are many interesting exhibits.
A very beautiful location, we were at the end of November, in the summer it must be incredibly beautiful
I really liked the museum. There are many different exhibits (equipment, paintings, personal belongings), each hall has its own theme, the halls are not large, those with children do not get tired, everything can be photographed.
I definitely recommend you to visit. There are a lot of exhibits, the route inside the museum is interestingly thought out. Don't drive by! A very decent museum.
The museum was very impressive. The pain and courage of the residents and defenders of Belarus are felt in it. An excellent idea and architectural realization of the museum: the whole path goes spiraling upwards, from the first days of the war to Victory. I would like to see more interactivity so that documents and comments on them can be viewed on screens. In any case, the museum is definitely worth a visit. To remember.
A very interesting museum with a diverse exposition. We were there for three hours, but we need a lot more time. The hall at the end of the exhibition makes a special impression. Be sure to visit if you are interested in history
A modern museum. Interesting items, weapons and other attributes of the Great Patriotic War. An excursion to the main one about the exploits of the Belarusian people. I recommend listening to the tour first..and then we can walk around the second circle and calmly look at photographs, old videos. The territory is neat. I was impressed by the hall dedicated to the concentration camps. The dome of the building is very beautiful from the inside.
Be sure to take a guide, you will learn a lot of new and interesting things. The exhibits were very impressive, I especially liked the tanks and the expositions with people. And also very strong paintings.
A magnificent complex! Delight! 4 floors, in memory of that terrible war. The equipment, weapons of that time, life, way of life, medical center and organization of printing of leaflets and newspapers of the partisans are presented, a separate page is devoted to concentration camps in the paintings and the exposition ends with a bright and beautiful victory hall! I highly recommend visiting this wonderful museum.
She visited the museum in March 2024.
The exposition is arranged in chronological order and is well structured.Original documents, belongings, awards, weapons. The exhibition of equipment is impressive.
A separate segment is the exhibition of the artist Savitsky, with paintings dedicated to the war.The museum is located on several levels and ends at the top with the Hall of Fame, where the names of the war heroes are listed.
It is clear that a lot of work has been done.
You can take thematic excursions in the museum, you can go on your own.
I plan to visit this museum with my children.
I recommend.
A magnificent museum, simply amazing, front-line vehicles, airplanes, machine guns. An intelligent guide, two hours of guided tours in a flash. A competent exposition. I highly recommend you to visit.
A wonderful museum of the Second World War, with a very large exposition. The first time we arrived early and took audio guides: these are portable players where guides tell you about the exhibits of each hall, with details and details. It took us 4 hours to walk through the entire museum from beginning to end with an audio guide and stops at video projections. It was very informative, although physically difficult.
However, at least once, it is necessary to take such an excursion. You will learn a lot of things that you were not told at school and you will have a more complete picture of the events of the war.
Was. Just outside. I didn't go inside. I liked the building externally. There is also a monument and a park nearby. Collectively, they make a monumental impression. There is a bike path nearby.
A super museum. Very interesting! I recommend taking a guided tour. You will learn a lot of new information. Good exposure. I recommend a mandatory visit.
It's a very cool place. I recommend visiting both adults and children, and the whole family! There is really something to see, to study, to understand, to feel. A very strong place. I regret that I got there for the first time only last year
I would put a thousand stars on the museum itself, but it's a pity for the organization and the administration staff to put even one…
I'll tell you a story about how we tried to get on a museum tour for two days in a row.
We arrived on August 10 at five in the evening (two hours before closing)
At our request to buy tickets with an excursion, the cashier snorted with displeasure that, in fact, they have all excursions until 16:00 at most (apparently, the guides rest 3 hours before closing)
An important point! We asked about booking an excursion for tomorrow, to which the answer was given that they do not book excursions
We decided to take an audio guide, to which the answer was received that they were all already on charge
They asked how many times we should come tomorrow, so that we could not just read the description of the exhibits, but listen to a professional guide
We received an answer: "come tomorrow at 15:00, we are in the midst of excursions at this time,"
Said and done. Already at 14:30 we were at the museum at the ticket office. And lo and behold! The same cashier.
We say: "please, we need two tickets with an excursion"
The answer, apparently recorded on the subcortex, did not take long to wait: "all the excursions have already ended, the audio guides are on recharge"
We just bought entrance tickets and decided to contact the reception desk
At this counter, a nice young girl told us that the last tour took place at 14:00 (sorry, but for 5!!!! hours before closing)
Of course, the audio guides are already on charge. After all, 1,500 people have already passed before us, as we were told.
Apparently, the 1501 and 1502 employees have already exhausted their strength.....
The woman checking the tickets barked at us that we ourselves can actually walk around the museum and read normally.
Let's go-the fairy tale museum! Very beautiful exhibitions and exhibits.
But we managed to read a little… As well as to learn something about the museum. There are hundreds of portraits behind the windows. Only the full name and title are signed under them. What this man did, guess for yourself.
Combat vehicles have only those. specifications. Where this car fought, whether it fought at all-also find out, apparently, on the Internet.
After going through the entire museum, we decided to leave a review, asking for a special book provided in all museums. Surprisingly, she wasn't there when I decided to mention that I wanted to leave a review specifically about the employees and their work so that the higher-level administration could pay attention to it. I asked where I could leave a review then. The receptionist girl said that on Yandex maps. But what about the official website of the museum, where the staff should definitely read reviews? The girl told me about him only after my mention.
Of course, I decided to ask how we could still get on the tour, because there are a lot of questions left.... You won't believe it! It turns out that there is a record that the cashier staff for some reason do not know about!
I decided to clarify when it is possible to get at least to the audio guides.
The answer made us smile nervously: "they work with us from morning to four in the evening" (apparently people who want to come to the museum after 4, for a minute, three hours before closing, do not have the right to listen to at least an audio guide, I am already silent about the guide ...)
Why did I smile nervously? Yes, because the audio guides, which, according to them, work until 4, were already on charge at 2..
Then the girl, apparently, got very nervous from the fact that I was at her, at the administrator, decided to clarify some questions (to be honest, I thought it was her responsibility) and decided to tell me all her dissatisfaction
, "Actually, I already gave out 20 today!!!! audio guides" (heroine)
How strange it was to hear this after we were informed that 1,500 people had already passed today.
I was surprised and decided to ask again if they really have only 20 audio guides for such a number of visitors???
The girl, not understanding why we were so surprised, replied: "Well, yes"
And the administrator decided to finish us off at the end, saying: "Actually, we had Italians, French, and Portuguese here before you, we want to give them audio guides to listen to"
We just fell out. That is, the Portuguese should listen, but we, the Russians, the fraternal people, do not....?
Is this Russianism in the museum of the Great Patriotic War? It's even scary…
I ask you to draw the attention of the museum administration to the work of your staff and give an answer that you have read this comment. Otherwise, I will send this comment to higher authorities.
The museum is wonderful, but we came out of it from head to toe…
Imagine with what an unpleasant aftertaste we had to walk around the museum
A huge museum with a gorgeous exposition. Everything stands side by side right inside the museum. Tank, guns, diagram. A very interesting exposition of the artist's paintings on the military theme. You can go without an excursion, everything is clear and takes your soul. My daughter is 8 years old, she was delighted.
Excellent exposure. A lot of equipment, layouts, documents. It will be interesting for both children and adults. Everyone will find something of their own. The staff in the halls of the museum are friendly and try to answer all questions in detail. The cost of admission is insignificant, compared to the museum itself. It is strongly recommended to make a mandatory visit to Minsk.
It feels like a lot of work has been done to create the museum, installations and exhibits, many of them authentic and collected since 1942, i.e. the beginning of the museum's operation. The route and the scenario of the passage of the exposition are thought out and arranged in chronology. Of course, it is advisable to visit with a guide. I really liked the museum, it has many high marks. I'm joining you.
During the trip to Minsk, we planned to visit the Museum of the Great Patriotic War. We have purchased guided tour tickets. The girl is a tour guide, knows her job. I was deeply touched by the history of Belarus during the Second World War. Large halls with well-placed expositions. Detailed dioramas, many exhibits with descriptions. I recommend you to visit.
I really liked it, a lot of old military equipment, weapons, photos. You can get around the museum in 1.5 - 2 hours, which is undoubtedly a plus. After the museum, you can also take a walk in the park nearby.
The museum is imbued with the spirit of patriotism, memory of the terrible events of the Second World War, heroism and exploits of ordinary people who stood up for the defense of the country.
The exhibits are impressive, most of them are authentic. The museum is large and spacious. Thanks to well-placed expositions and transitions between halls and floors, you can move unnoticed through the history of the war.
I recommend a group tour, you will go around the entire museum in an hour and hear important and interesting points about the exhibits, and if you wish, you can return and examine them in detail again.
An excellent museum, I recommend it to everyone. It is better to go with a guide, then you will feel the whole point better. Belarus remembers, honors and commemorates the tragedy of the Great Patriotic War.
The museum is huge, very impressive. There are a lot of exhibits, an interesting story from the guide, for not very much money. I advise everyone to visit this museum, especially with children.
I visited the museum last month with friends and was very pleased. The museum is very large and interesting, there are many different exhibits, from documents and photographs to weapons and equipment. I especially liked the hall dedicated to the defensive battles in Belarus in the summer of 1941, where you can see maps, posters, personal belongings of soldiers and partisans. The museum is very well decorated, there are many interactive elements, video and audio. The museum staff was friendly and polite, answered all our questions. The museum is located in a convenient location, we reached it by bus without any problems. I recommend everyone to visit this museum to learn more about the Great Patriotic War and to honor the memory of the heroes. I give the museum five stars.
One of the best WWII museums that we managed to see. Modern installations, full immersion in the era of heroes and liberators. It gives me goosebumps! It is definitely recommended to visit.
If you haven't decided yet whether to visit the museum or not, you definitely need to visit. Large-scale installations, sculptures, paintings, exhibits - everything is on top.
The Victory Hall is simply amazing.
An incredibly cool museum, large, spacious, a lot of exhibits, there are organized excursions. In Belarus, in general, everyone is doing well - the theme of war is everywhere, it feels like people honor and remember every moment and this is the biggest tragedy for the people and it's incredible..... I definitely recommend visiting the museum.
