A cozy and clean hotel with an excellent location (3 minutes to the beach), a delicious restaurant with affordable prices. Very friendly and helpful staff, renovated rooms and a decent view from the balcony. The hotel has its own generator, so there are no problems with electricity and water. We had a rest in August, we were very satisfied!
In this hotel, the reception is closed at night. A certain man greets the guests and promises that you will stay for a day from the moment of arrival, but in fact check out at 12.00 pm...we stopped by at 5.30 local time, we needed to get some sleep, there was no way out, we couldn't get enough sleep in the car and didn't really rest...we offered a room at a cost of 6100 per day ... because we promised that we would live the same way for a day, we agreed....but in the morning, the receptionist called the man who met us in the morning a fool, because she said it didn't work that way....I was glad that the receptionist did not take the full price and returned 1100 rubles, but somehow I think it would be necessary to return half the cost at least for a few hours of sleep at the hotel...well, in general, the unjustifiably inflated cost per day, yes, the price includes breakfast, but for a room from 5-6700 rubles. It's expensive for such a simple hotel. Clean, cozy. I would still like the administrative staff to meet at the hotel at any time of the day and bring reliable information to the guests.

Of the cons:
- room stock - they gave us a room with a view of the wall. One and a half meters from the window there is a blank wall, the room is microscopic, all legs were knocked off the bed
- the room was dark day and night, respectively, but thank you for providing an additional lampshade, although it did not save the situation in any way
- the toilet flowed, the water heater tank failed on the last day, we left for the airport after taking a hastily cold shower
- I took the breakfasts for nothing. For breakfast they gave oatmeal + buckwheat porridge with sausages and dessert. Why put 2 porridges, I don't understand. We got up a couple of times, then went to the dining room for breakfast at our own expense
Considering that this is not the first time I have been on vacation in Abkhazia, I was disappointed, because the hotel did not cost cheap.
We were going to Abkhazia with my husband for NG. We always travel with our cat Tiffany (sphinx). They began to look on the Internet on the websites of tour operators and hotels where pets are allowed. Unfortunately, this is always a problem, there are very few such places.
I saw information on the official website of this hotel that pets are allowed. I decided to write to Whatsapp to clarify all the details. The answer certainly surprised me very unpleasantly. We will not go to such a hotel, that's for sure! Blatant rudeness.

We booked a hotel for the New Year holidays, paid for the reservation per day, checked in on December 31, the rooms are tiled everywhere, ice floors, and we are with small children! It's cold to wash in the bathroom, even for an adult, not like for children! Mold is in the corners, the attack has worsened, there is a refrigerator, but there is still a meter of wire missing from the outlet! The mirror was broken, the furniture was shabby, after staying there for a day, we went to breakfast in the morning, and we were already thinking of asking for another room (although there was no hope anymore), but when they gave us a herring under a fur coat for breakfast!!! Which the guests didn't finish on New Year's Eve! Sliced vegetables, cheese and bread, that's it!!!!!! We're just awesome!!! Nothing at all for children!!!! They asked for tea, but the boiling water was already gone!!! We have decided to leave this hotel! But then it turned out that no one was going to return the remaining payment to us!!! That is, we gave away 7k of armor, and 28k upon check-in!! After a long e-mail conversation with the hotel manager or I don't know who, I was denied any compensation at all!!!! Dear God, I've been to Abkhazia 15 times already, and this is the most terrible place of all!!! And the hotel itself on the ground floor smells of sewage!! 35k in one night!!! We didn't get into the situation that we were with the children, and another room wouldn't suit us either because of the exacerbation of asthma! It turns out that I had to find out everything in advance, and the fact that the payment is not refunded in any way, although the hotel was full of available rooms, no one's reservation had to be refused because of us!!! There are many more places to stay in Gagra!!! There is no service in Abkhazia, we have always known this, but to just take it like that and not return anything at all is beyond any bounds!!!

We had a vacation in January 2025. The staff was friendly, the air conditioner heated well. We didn't feel the lights going off, and we started the diesel engine in the evening and in the afternoon. The rooms are clean. Location : it was quiet and everyone was happy.

The rooms are clean, cleaning and linen change surprised us in general - cleaning every day, linen and towels were changed often and on time.
I recommend it, as well as if we still go, we will most likely stop here.

We had a rest from June 7 to June 14, 2024. We arrived earlier, but we were immediately checked in. The room was deluxe, balcony, hair dryer, bed, sofa, TV (many channels with good quality). There is a restaurant on the top floor, the food is delicious. The sea is a couple of minutes away, clean, but there are a lot of jellyfish. Sun beds, umbrellas for 200 rubles. Nearby there is a dining room "okroshka" - not bad. Of the disadvantages, the room itself is dark (38), with the curtains open and the lights on, it is very dark. It's mega wet, things don't dry on the balcony. Washing costs 400 rubles, but it was washed as if on the "15 min" mode, nothing was washed, they asked to overdo it - nothing has changed. They are evicted at 12:00, and the transfer was at 19:00. We asked to extend the room, and for this we asked for 4,000 rubles. In general, I recommend it, the staff is friendly. But I do not advise buying smoked shrimp and mussels near the hotel, it was caressed all night)

We had a rest in July 2024. We arrived from an excursion and stopped by at 8:30 p.m. There was only a security guard at the reception, who checked us into room 11 on the ground floor. The room looked more like a dirty crypt than a normal apartment for 7 thousand a day.

We asked twice to change the room, to which we were told that the receptionist was asleep and there were no other rooms, come to the reception tomorrow at 9.
The next day we arrived at 9, the administrator was not there either - she was in the same smoking room under our window.
We asked to be relocated again, and were even willing to pay extra. To which the receptionist said that there were no rooms and "what did you want, you have the cheapest room, this is the Gagra center!". At the same time, a sign "there are available rooms" hung at the entrance to the hotel.
When contacting the tour operator with the attached photos, the hotel rooms were suddenly found and we were relocated with an additional fee.
Most of all, I was struck by how rude the administrator was and lied directly to my eyes.
If you are considering this hotel, I recommend that you do not go here and spoil your vacation.

Terrible room on the ground floor! It felt like we were put in a staff room. There is a smoking room for employees right under the windows. The linen is old, in pellets, with an unpleasant smell, the blankets are stained and not tucked into the duvet cover. When asked to move or at least change the linen, we were faced with the boorish attitude of the receptionist, who said "what do you want, you booked the cheapest room", although this was not the case, when booking the room looked completely different. When asked to move us to another room with an additional fee, the receptionist rudely said that there were no rooms, while there was an announcement at the entrance that there were available rooms. At the same time, she did not deny herself the pleasure of smoking under our windows with other staff. We managed to relocate after the intervention of our tour operator. After that, the administrator stopped greeting us. I have never seen such a rude attitude before.
Very close to the sea, near the Ferris wheel, the central highway, transport. The staff is polite, ready to help, prompt. The rooms are clean and cozy. I think it will be even better by summer. I would like a kettle in the room or a cooler on each floor. You can book excursions directly from the hotel, individually. An excellent driver - guide with a comfortable minivan.

I rested there a few years ago, the plumbing is new, the diploma is well renovated. The WiFi password is given for money, in the restaurant there is a mark-up for service, which is not reflected in the menu. The interior is very clean, the renovation is done with taste. But very loud. The tiles and metal, the staircase in the middle reflect all the sounds. Some rooms have a beautiful view of the sea or the mountains. Some of them go straight into the wall. And there was no pool at that time. Did they really do it?

There are advantages: the staff tries hard, they were placed immediately after arrival early in the morning, thank you. Even after the room was filled with exhaust gases from a diesel generator, we immediately changed the room at our request. The canteen has a positive attitude from the women working in the cafe, thank you! There is no smell of sewage in the rooms, that's good. The floor was washed clean, the linen towels are white and clean.
Cons: the hotel project is very interesting, but apart from the idea, the whole hotel has a yard for drying and ironing clothes, just like a communal apartment, a game of the 30s of the USSR. In the evening we were poisoned in a cafe, we warned the administrator about it, that the cafe employee Nikolai, let him be more attentive to cooking, there was no reaction, the car was left on the street not far from the hotel, parking near the hotel was always blocked with bottles for someone, since we are from Russia, we are there not in high esteem. The best option is to live in Sochi and drive around Abkhazia. There is absolutely nothing to do in Gagra, this is not Russia and there are no quality standards there. Food prices are overstated by 100 percent, we took alcohol and food in large stores at a price like in Russia. We had a rental car from Sochi for a 5-day detour.

But that's not the case now. The adventures began on the very first day: they did not offer a choice in breakfast!!!!, which is fundamental for me in choosing a hotel. What is available is served. My request to "cook scrambled eggs" was answered rudely, the room was provided with a view of the wall, after the first night they moved to another room, which is located nearby-that is, I experienced discomfort with moving and dragging things, the room stock is outdated, which requires repair. The wallpaper is fixed on adhesive tape, under which there is rot, and the rooms smell damp. When asked to cancel an early check-out, they refused, referring to the booking rules on the booking, but I will clarify, I did not book a hotel! The result of a long correspondence with the hotel administrator, I had to stay for a lot of money, in a hotel where they are rude, it smells damp, eat breakfast that they gave.
