The best Samarkand pilaf (including in the opinion of the Samarqandans themselves).
For a word, it is better to immediately queue in the courtyard, there will be places at the table, there are many tables, delicious salads and tea.
The best pilaf I've ever tasted in my life! I recommend coming by 12 in order to have time to taste it for sure, otherwise you can stand in line for so long that you just won't have time and it will end. And if there is an opportunity, it is better to order a table in advance) if I come back, I will do so.
The best pilaf in Samarkand! They put two cauldrons, but you need to make it from 11 to 15, otherwise there will probably be no pilaf left.
Delicious tortillas! A portion of pilaf for 2 people (well, or very little-eating three), so it's worth ordering with this in mind
We are going here for pilaf on purpose. Perhaps, here is the most delicious pilaf in all of Uzbekistan. The meat is served in chunks, everything is fresh, served quickly. You can't book a table in advance, because the flow is on. Locals eat here, which is also an indicator. The price tag is above average.
Delicious. But for the guests of the city, the price tag is one and a half to two times higher. 2 servings of 0.7 pilaf, 2 salads, tea, flatbread cost 136k. And this is despite the fact that you need to stand in line with everyone. Almost an hour .
Pilaf 5+ service is lame. It is difficult for tourists to understand how to take pilaf ...) whoever was there will understand what the speech is about. Standing in line when people don't understand the language..))
The food is simple. The pilaf is very tasty. An unusual taste is also given by black oil, which is used to cook yellow carrots. It is better to arrive before 14-00, since there will probably be nothing later. They are disassembled quickly. The peculiarity is that you need to take it in a small kitchen, and then take it to the table. A special feature is that the ktplov is served a vinegar-based drink to digest food. The pickles are very tasty, just wonderful. In general, we are very satisfied.
Very tasty pilaf. It is better to arrive no later than 13 o'clock. Clean, inexpensive, colorful))

158 000 sums for 1.5 servings of pilaf, tea and salads. I'm sure we were shortchanged as tourists.
Salads are brought to the table automatically, you need to tell what to leave and what to take away.
Pilaf is like pilaf, it seems delicious, but we definitely would not repeat the experience.
We were on Sunday at 12:30, the pilaf was still in the normal number, the queue was about five people.

Very tasty pilaf, we had it 2 times.
For the first time at 12:20 there were a lot of people under the canopy, but there is still a room indoors.
The second time we arrived early at 11:20, waited a little and got our delicious pilaf.
One of the most authentic cafes in Samarkand.
1. You will not be given a receipt. The record is kept in a notebook.
2. You need to order and pick up pilaf at the distribution.
3. The waiter brings only tea, flatbread and salads (pickles, fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, pickled onions)
4. Pay for lunch at the checkout after you eat everything.
5. A portion of pilaf costs 70,000 soums or ~577₽
Among the features: pilaf is cooked in black sesame oil. Don't be afraid of the color - it's its natural color.
Pilaf is applied in layers: meat, carrots, rice, quail eggs.
Cafe / dining room in the national style, several halls, a fountain in the courtyard. Very clean, neat.
I recommend this place to everyone!
Enjoy your meal! 😋
The pilaf ends at 12:30. They say it's delicious, but we didn't have time). However, as in all of Samarkand, this is a problem. For this reason, Samarkand pilaf is better to eat in Tashkent, where it can be found at any time of the day and the best Samarkand dishes will cook it
Wonderful delicious pilaf! I highly recommend it if you want to try real Samarkand pilaf. To be in time, you need to come from 11 o'clock, then they can already distribute everything)
I do not know how they cook and what they add, but this pilaf is really the number 1 in Samarkand. At least every day you can eat this pilaf and admire it
It's a good place. They advised the reception to go there. It's a cross between a dining room and a restaurant. But the pilaf is delicious. Pilaf on a chicken with beef. And with linseed oil. Cooked in a copper cauldron
We arrived at 12:00, there was still a lot of pilaf. We stood in a small queue and received portions, then we were seated at a table where a woman was already sitting (she was very unpleasant and talked a lot), we ordered another salad. Everyone advised us to have pilaf here, but to be honest, we ate a lot of vinegar pilaf next to Bibi Khanum in Zargaron. Here, either this lady spoiled her appetite, or the richness of the pilaf's taste was still not enough. An overrated place in our opinion. The staff is friendly and generally everything is brought in quickly. You pay at the end at the exit.
I learned about this place from Ilya Varlamov's blog about Samarkand, we walked almost 3 km from the hotel (it is not in the center), but in the end we did not regret it at all! I read in advance that it was better to come by 12 o'clock, it's true, we arrived at 11:40 and were the first, literally 40 minutes later there were no empty seats and there was a long queue for pilaf)
We took 1.5 servings of pilaf for two, two servings would be too much. We paid 112,000 soums for pilaf + pickle salad + flatbread + tea.
Pilaf is very, very tasty! I highly recommend it)
I haven't eaten such delicious pilaf for a long time. It is a pity that there is no branch in Tashkent. He advised the administration to open another branch in Tashkent.
Judging by the reviews and the place of arrival, the RESTAURANT Joni Osh has a queue for pilaf! The restaurant administration, think about it! You have a Restaurant, people should come to you and eat at their table and wait for you to bring them pilaf. And you have a queue for pilaf like in some kind of diner. You don't seem to have a canteen or a snack bar. And that's exactly how you behave.
The pilaf itself is good. But because of the service, or rather the invoice, I put such an assessment. We ordered 2 portions of pilaf, 3 fresh salads and tea from us took 275 thousand soums. They just blatantly rip off tourists, so be vigilant, they want to cheat everywhere. The overall impression is very spoiled.
They recommended it as the most delicious pilaf in Samarkand, but after trying it, I can say with confidence that there are tastier places where pilaf is cooked in Samarkand. The service leaves much to be desired. Whether I will come to this institution for the second time, definitely not.
The most delicious pilaf in Samarkand)! When he arrives, we definitely run to Johnny Osh to eat this yummy)! Usually we arrive at 11, then we are in the queue at the beginning and there will definitely be enough)!
The restaurant serves Samarkand pilaf. It is necessary to come in the interval from 12 to 14 days, later the pilaf will end. And the closer you come to 14, the fatter the pilaf will be, because it will already be the remains of pilaf, which is cooked 1 time a day, in the morning. In every major city of Uzbekistan, this national dish is prepared a little differently. It is served on a large plate and always with a large number of pickles, salad, fermented milk product with herbs. Green tea with jam completes the meal. If the standard portion of meat for pilaf is not enough, they can order an additional share.
The price here is slightly higher than in the Center of Pilaf, which is located nearby.
I confirm, the best pilaf in Samarkand. I read before the trip on the forums, asked the locals everything was confirmed, everyone advised this particular place. The staff is very friendly.
For me, this is the place where the most delicious pilaf is cooked in Samarkand. The cauldron where pilaf is cooked is always clean, the staff is nimble, the atmosphere is pleasant and most importantly, the pilaf is very tasty.

I don't know what makes me leave rave reviews, but my family and I didn't like either the pilaf or the attitude. Pilaf is made in an extremely specific way, using zygier ("black" oil). Meat, Slavic guests (as it seemed to me), put little and not the best, the price tag is too high on average in the city. They didn't talk to anyone from the locals, they don't put him in the first row of pilaf in Samarkand. My opinion is a banally advertised place for tourists, there is much tastier pilaf.
I arrived here on Monday , at two o'clock in the afternoon , everything is already closed, why do we need such cafes in the city that work in the morning for a couple of hours and that's it ... I went and found a great place in the city where there is pilaf all day
Well, what can I say, it's a shame, dear Uzbeks. So far, this is the weakest pilaf. Here is this small piece of meat for the whole portion and they ask for 40t for it. in Bukhara, in the highway, they ask for 32t for a full portion, and here is half. There is no menu, everything is just in words, check, otherwise they will throw a couple of salads and so on.
