Sovkovaya Hotel , some of the staff seemed to have remained from the USSR. A number with a stretch of three. The most adequate employee for the entire stay is one of the men from the Security Service. At the reception: a young girl-she doesn't care at all, and an older woman-if she gives the room key (and this is an ancient key, and not an electronic one), she does it with such a look that it feels like a tub of slop has been poured out.
They don't like to change towels, the noise from the street is just terrible. The windows are the cheapest (apparently) the sound of rain does not muffle, but enhances the feeling that these drops are knocking on the head.
I can't say anything about the food-fortunately I didn't have a chance to eat there.
The hotel is excellent. Good location, cleanliness, fresh renovation in the suite, the room has almost everything you need, friendly staff. I was a little upset about breakfast.
An old hotel. The staff is good. The rooms are clean. I recommend it for a short stay. Minus: noise from the adjacent road. The prices are quite decent.
There are three categories of rooms: after renovation, without renovation and, probably, with "light repairs. We had a room from the "after renovation" category. Clean, comfortable, has everything you need! Bathroom - for 5+! For us, the biggest disadvantage was the "cold window"... The window is plastic, decent, but it BLOWS out of it SO that the temperature in the room immediately drops significantly! It was winter, the frost outside was -15. This circumstance was significantly upsetting. The staff is friendly enough and responds to requests! The hotel is quiet and peaceful. The hotel has paid Parking for cars. The hotel is located near the historical monument - the Brest Fortress. 15 minutes at a brisk pace and you are at its walls.
The check-in surprised me. Specifically, the attitude towards me as a guest and the discipline of work. Check out of the hotel for some reason at 9 a.m., although it says that the check-out time is at 12:00. "But you can leave at 10" - killed. I paid in cash. 100 Belarusian rubles for a room with a conder. An hour later, I went down to ask for a check for payment, but I got on a shift shift, so I was asked not to wait, but after handing over the key, go about my business. They say they will make a check by my arrival. Attention! I'm coming back. At the reception after the shift change, another person says that the room has not been paid. I am in the database, but the payment has not been entered. Without conflicts, the check was issued after a short time. I don't know if they found the money or not. There are cameras on the other side.
The rooms are quite good, I was there with a group of tourists, the breakfast was just tin, the dishes were disgusting, the tables were set for 30 people, and do not expect normal coffee, there is a mound of instant coffee on the plate. There are simply no coffee machines
I didn't like it. There were a lot of people drinking in the next room and a very nervous woman. There was no chair or ottoman in the room, not even a place to sit. The dinner is tasteless
I was in this hotel 10 years ago for the first time and for the second time in November this year. For that time, everything was perfect. There was a currency exchange in the hotel, now there is no one, so you will have to go to the Central Department Store or through several houses to get the national currency. There was a chic restaurant, now a small cafe, with mediocre food (for example, we had a disorder there after eating). The rooms have been renovated, there is more or less new furniture, new tiles were put in the bathroom, but the plumbing remained 10 years ago. The heating is very weak, although it was cold outside. The windows were replaced, but the muzzle is notable. But what I didn't like the most was that we didn't hand over the room key (thereby making it clear that there was no need to clean the room), and when we went into the room in the evening, we realized that someone was in the room, and at the same time we replaced towels and put drinking water, but that's it equal to... We left documents, money...
An ordinary Soviet hotel, it is clear that they strive to be more modern, but so far it is not very successful. It would be nice to update the towels, at least so that the guests in the same room have the same towels and are not torn. But for the money that Brest offers, it's not bad at all.
We really liked the hotel. There is something to compare it with. The location is ideal for tourists. All attractions are within walking distance. The room was on the 8th floor, a gorgeous view of the city from the window
I really liked the room, everything is very new and there are even mats by the bed, I did not even expect this. We had a view from the 8th floor of the temple, very cool. The registration is fast, although the hotel is not small. We lived in a two-room suite, and the price is very adequate for such a service: dishes, slippers and hygiene kits in the bathroom.
Just an ordinary normal hotel. A good price, but also an appropriate setting. There is a necessary minimum, a TV can surprise young people with its quality and size. The service is good, clean. The location is very good
A Soviet-era hotel. Everything is simple without frills and celebrations. A pleasant team. The quality of the rooms is not luxury and many things can upset you, for example, a smelly carpet or the lack of a shelf in the bathroom for soap. To spend the night, making a short stop is a normal option.
Not bad. The room stock is probably after renovation. A weak three. We stayed for a day. The room is cool. Breakfast can be paid extra, 11 BYN is not expensive, but it is better to go somewhere. It's not worth it, it's not tasty. At first there was no hot water in the room, leaving for a walk they reported this when they returned hot water appeared. Near the central pedestrian, walking street, near the Brest Fortress and the Railway Museum, in good weather you can walk to these attractions. Within walking distance of the embankment, shopping center.
The rooms are good, there was a fresh renovation. However, the bathtub gives the impression of the age of the hotel itself. There is parking, but it is paid, they charged us 8 rubles per night, and there is no direct access to it from the hotel, it's a long way to go with heavy bags.
The hall is beautiful, but the room is terrible, it was not cleaned before check-in, and the dirt remained after cleaning, there is a fan (this is in October), a spider web in the bathroom, the wallpaper is peeled off, the furniture was bought at a discount....
What 3 stars, you need 1 with a stretch. Old rooms, stink, draughts from everywhere, as if there is no glazing at all! There is a separate conversation about the restaurant in the hotel - unroasted food, bread with mold, the waiters are boors ... it's terribly simple! If you don't want to get injured, catch a cold and just spoil your mood, look for another place!
A nice hotel with an awesome view of the city! There is a fortress nearby. Almost within walking distance. The room has everything. Cleanly. There is a cooler in the hallway
The room is clean, the bed is sooo comfortable, the bed is snow-white. One moment, there is a kettle, but no cups)) . We were passing through, had a rest from the hard road. I recommend it!!
Check-in is fast. The room is clean, but the parquet and rugs are probably from when the hotel only accepted intourists. Repairs are noticeable in the toilet. The room has a refrigerator, kettle, hair dryer, a minimum set of hygiene products, a cooler on the floor. The breakfast is portioned, quite decent. The location is very good: near the pedestrian Sovetskaya street, the embankment, a department store, a shopping center, not far from the Brest fortress.
The economy class room is just terrible. Two sockets for the whole room, which are designed for a refrigerator and a TV. There is a smell of urine in the toilet, there is not even an air freshener. The bathtub is cracked and dirty. The wallpaper is shabby, the furniture, as well as the repair, has been at least 30 years old. There are no elementary things like a shoe spoon, of course there is no question about a hair dryer. Parking is paid, but even there there is no right to choose a place for your car. It is not clear on what principle the parking attendant decides this. One of the advantages is a good location, there are many cafes, shops nearby, and attractions nearby.

We stayed at this hotel twice. The impressions are only good. The rooms are newly renovated. Everything is very clean. There is everything you need to relax. Refrigerator, kettle, hair dryer, air conditioning. The staff is friendly. There are paid and non-paid parking spaces. The room prices are quite reasonable. I recommend
A Soviet hotel, once renovated, but stuck in the 90s.
There is a small refrigerator in the room, a fan instead of an air conditioner, although there is even a place outside the window for the latter, but then something went wrong, the Horizon TV from the nineties, which hardly shows several channels with analog ripples.
The bathroom has a large and good Soviet bathtub, which is not found in modern hotels. Towels in quantity and quality are given at least four stars.
The furniture is passable. On each floor there is a smoking room at the end of the corridor, there is also a fire escape, which you can go out and admire, as it was here 30 years ago.
There is a cooler on the floor, but on the first day there was no water, on the second there was.
There is also an exhibition and sale of paintings by local artists on the floor. It's beautiful and curious.
Breakfast has a choice of three ready-made options, quite tasty, but frankly not enough.
The high floors offer a pretty good view of the city.
Contradictory. It'll do for one night.
The heating is not working properly. Siphoning windows. The beds are designed for people with a height of no more than 170 cm. Mold in the bathrooms. Of the advantages, only the convenient location
Nice clean and large comfort room. There is a sofa, hair dryer, refrigerator, kettle, air conditioning (not working), soap and shampoo. View of Sovetskaya Street. Everything is great.
Everything in the room is old. The web is in places. The wallpaper is worn out. The water does not go out in the bathroom, the old faucet is all running, all the fittings in the bathroom are also old and need to be replaced. In general, there are only disadvantages...
A pleasant, clean hotel, the rooms are cozy, there is everything you need, the staff is polite, they answer and advise you on any question. For breakfast, 3 menus were offered, from which you need to choose. The food is delicious.
The hotel doesn't even have stars. It's a complete disgrace. Everything is broken, nothing works, no one knows anything. We will wait and hope for changes for the better
A good hotel.
We stayed with friends for two days. Quite decent. I liked the rooms. Standard layout: the double room has two beds and two bedside tables, a table and two chairs, a fan, a mirror, a bathroom with towels, shampoos, gels and soap. There was everything you needed! Clear. There is a cooler on the floor. There is a nice lobby on the 1st floor, you can also relax in upholstered chairs in the Halls on the floors) It was budget-friendly, clean, and pleasant to live in. If possible, I think I would have stopped again.
I recommend it!
The price-quality ratio is justified!
P.S. The only thing is that our windows were constantly open and, apparently, some bugs flew into them, in the evening a couple crawled on the floor (not cockroaches, some others, ahahah, no one crawled on the sheet at night), so who is afraid / who is very unpleasant insects, be careful, take the floor higher maybe, we had 3).
The two-room suite looked decent, BUT....the glass shelves with dishes are covered with a layer of dust, there is no coffee, only tea, and the funny thing is that there are no sockets, but there is a hairdryer. I had to turn off the refrigerator from the extension cord and plug in the hair dryer... away from the mirror. Mattresses are very hard. My back hurt in the morning. Parking is paid. Well, actually the name "Intourist" is all that remains. The service is a thing of the past)))
They didn't want to check in because there was a tourist bus for registration, after I insisted on finding us a room, they immediately found it. Before that, they said on the phone, come there are rooms, so I began to insist. There were dirty towels in the room after the last guests, there was something sticky on the floor, the bed was pushed back to plug into the socket, there were huge pieces of dust, the bedspread was stained with blood. The view from the window is good 👍🏻
Good location... A Soviet ordinary hotel is no more, no less... But to pay tribute to the comfort, the double is quite spacious... About the fact that repairs since the 2000s, we understood this... And the price matches... There are better and more modern hotels, but prices with such a quadrature are twice as high... The breakfasts are not bad for the money and the lunch for 10p is very decent... Here, as they say, who has what requests...
The worst hotel I've ever been to. I chose the 1-room "Single A". Firstly, we were double-crossed with the price. The first time was when I called them before leaving to clarify the details, since we arrived to check in at one o'clock on Saturday night, and left at 12 a.m. on Sunday. I was told that you will pay for 1.5 days. Upon arrival, it turned out that, you see, I had been booking since Friday (obviously, when should I book, from Saturday from 2 p.m. and 12 o'clock to stagger without a roof over my head?) therefore, the payment is made in 2 days. Then the madam at the reception issued the following phrase: "you did not indicate that you would live in two single rooms, so you need to pay extra for the guest. The four of us went, two people per room. As a result, rooms from 70 rubles per day turned into rooms for 105 rubles per day. Breakfast didn't go in there for a second. She calculated us, by the way, the registration of 2 passports took more than half an hour, check-in was counted from 12 a.m. to 12 a.m. on Sunday, we asked again. Then the most interesting thing begins. We went to our rooms, the 10th floor out of 10 by the way, and realized that it was warmer outside. It's just a hell of a draft! We had completely closed windows and walls blown through under the window sill, friends in the same room had a dull blow from the corners of the walls near the window. We paid the x1.5 price, but they did not consider it necessary to give us another set of bed linen, towels and soap / gel. Bed linen from the time of Stalin, a single sheet on the bed and a half, and some kind of lining between it and the mattress. Both, by the way, are in dried blood, I fix the photo. One short thin blanket, thanks for finding at least some semblance in the closet. Meanwhile, even the air conditioner turned on to the maximum possible heating did not improve the situation with cold in the room. Somehow they wrapped themselves up and fell asleep. The next day, the housekeeping told our friends that it turns out our rooms are being checked out at 12 a.m. from Saturday to Sunday, and not in the afternoon! As a result, I had to pay another 105 rubles in total for 2 rooms in order to live for another half day. At the same time, none of the above has yet been issued for the 2nd person. There are still 3 towels, which were not even changed, they only gave a piece of soap and shampoo + shower gel. By the way, the toilet is "very comfortable", the left column rests against the wall, but there are already design features. The total that we have is an unreasonably expensive hotel in Brest, not even in the capital, where they are forced to pay half the cost for a room without breakfast for an additional person, although in any other one that I was there was not even close, they always took "single rooms" and lived together. Terrible service, room quality and a high risk of getting sick. For any respectable person to live in such conditions, he should be paid, not him. I would advise you to live anywhere in Brest, but not here.
Of the advantages, only the location
There are a lot of disadvantages, starting with the staff at the reception, ending with the conditions in the rooms
It feels like no one cleaned the rooms before checking in:there were watermelon seeds on the floor, someone else's hair, even the bed was dirty (in the makeup)
There is mold on the tile in the bathroom, and no one even filled the toilet with a remedy
There was half a roll of toilet paper
I liked everything, thank you very much!
The rooms are clean, all the accessories are there. There are three breakfasts to choose from, but you can eat normally!
On one cloudy and not very pleasant day, my wife and I arrived at this hotel where a two-room room was booked. And we galloped to it because it was light and warm there. Upon arrival, I realized that it was necessary to familiarize myself with the events in my native country and tried to turn on the TV. But that was not the case, the remote control and the TV were not compatible. I had to go to the reception and prove for some time that without knowing the situation in the world, my life would lose its meaning. During my absence, my wife found out that we were not given bathrobes, but there is a hairdryer and a kettle and a table with a mirror in the bedroom to restore beauty. But as further events have shown, you can't even rejoice at this, since the only outlet where you can connect is located in the hallway at 15 cm from the floor. And my wife was happily making beauty on her knees in front of the front door. The bathroom was also pleased, because if you sat on the throne without preparing hygiene products, then you need to be a gymnast to get them. In general, you can live, but paying not so little money, I would like to receive at least the minimum that is stated.
I will only agree that the hotel is well located. Be CAREFUL, THE RECEPTION is BEING DECEIVED!!!
A holiday hotel should be like at home. But this is not about Brest intourist.
We lived in 806, two-room:
The bed is creaky-it is not possible to sleep (in the morning on the road, and not sleepy), oak pillows, down pillows (it is more convenient to sleep on bricks) they can kill!!!
blankets are also remnants of Soviet times. Mattresses have been inherited since Soviet times. It was rough sleeping.
Cleaning is the same, the hotel is empty, the room has been cleaned for a long time-dusty floor, musty smell in the room.
The hotel is located on the central avenue, the rooms are a bit noisy.
And it was also a surprise that smoking is allowed in the rooms!!! We were lucky with our neighbors, we smoked often and a lot!!!
Upon check-in (a lady aged and wearing glasses made us out) took more money than we booked through the website. I saw that later. The difference was about 20 bel.rub.
I will not recommend it, I will not go here myself a second time.
Terrible hotel!!!
The room is good, there are disposable items.
The disadvantages are good audibility from the street. You can hear people driving along the avenue, next to a nightclub, there is also noise coming from there.
One of the advantages is the location. Everything is nearby. You can walk to any point on foot.
I haven't tried breakfast. There is a cafe nearby, I liked the breakfasts there.
