The room is not bad, for a single there is a very small blanket for two. The bathroom needs updating and repair, they did not dare to take a bath. It is possible to have lunch and breakfast for 10 rubles, but breakfast portions are designed more for girls
A great opportunity for a tourist to spend the night for reasonable money.
The hotel needs to renovate the bathrooms in the rooms and increase sound protection.
Furniture and TV have been around for at least 20 years....
It's time to change too.
The staff is polite.
The location is convenient.
The dead old number. The furniture is old and shabby. The wallpaper is dirty. There are 2 sockets for the whole room. The TV (he is 20 years old or more) did not work. It opens for ventilation of 1 of the 2 panes. It's good that the fan was standing and working. The plumbing is old, when you turn on the shower in the bathtub, the water also runs into the sink. It's good that we spent 1 night. I couldn't have survived any longer. Of course there is no hair dryer. There is no refrigerator either. The only plus is that the city center. But since there is no air conditioner, sleeping at night with the window open is very noisy.
Well, the old one, of course. But the price-quality-location ratio is optimal for me. The staff is pleasant. If it weren't for that terrible wooden sideboard in the beds of budget rooms, and the beds themselves are tougher (for a sore back...)
A great old-fashioned hotel. The furniture has been updated. The breakfast is good. The place is beautiful. Everything is nearby: the Brest fortress, a beautiful pedestrian street, shops, a cinema, cafes, a market and shopping centers!
We spent the night with my husband from 03/31/2014, took a two-room double room on the 8th floor. We were pleasantly surprised, after reading various reviews, by the room.
A large flat-screen TV with lots of channels, a sofa, armchairs, a refrigerator - this is the first room. The second room has a large bed, very comfortable with snow-white linen, good sound insulation of the walls. There are disposable sets and towels in the bathroom. There were also disposable slippers. The bathtub itself is not new, but it is quite possible to take a shower. There are three breakfast options to choose from. The food is excellent, fresh cheese and ham. Coffee from the coffee machine, very good. There was also a kettle and water in the room, and a water cooler on the floor.
The hotel is great, but the staff at the reception ... just awful! In response to a question about early check-in, they answered very rudely: "Don't you see how many guests we have?!" They told me to arrive at 12:00 (the room will be cleaned and you can check in). I arrived at 13:00, they said: "You have check-in only at 14:00, wait!". The girls did not get up, did not say hello, as they sat in a heap and sat ... so they also yawned without covering their mouths.
I was in the beautiful city of Brest this weekend. I spent the night in Intourist Brest. In a superior single room. Very nice room. Quiet. Clean. Everything you need is there (although a teapot in the room would not hurt). Wonderful staff, sincerely caring about the guests. Very tasty breakfasts in the lobby bar. There is a luggage storage if you need to leave things after vacating the room. I really liked everything. I am sure that I will come more than once!
The two-room suite looked decent, BUT....the glass shelves with dishes are covered with a layer of dust, there is no coffee, only tea, and the funny thing is that there are no sockets, but there is a hairdryer. I had to turn off the refrigerator from the extension cord and plug in the hair dryer... away from the mirror. Mattresses are very hard. My back hurt in the morning. Parking is paid. Well, actually the name "Intourist" is all that remains. The service is a thing of the past)))
I liked everything. Clean, calm, quiet. Thanks to Brest and the Intourist Hotel for a wonderful comfortable stay. The room (double suite) had everything you needed.
Of the advantages, only the location
There are a lot of disadvantages, starting with the staff at the reception, ending with the conditions in the rooms
It feels like no one cleaned the rooms before checking in:there were watermelon seeds on the floor, someone else's hair, even the bed was dirty (in the makeup)
There is mold on the tile in the bathroom, and no one even filled the toilet with a remedy
There was half a roll of toilet paper
It's all good. The room is good, everything is new after repair, even there is an air conditioner, but there was no remote control. The water is excellent, but the batteries have not been heated yet. Breakfast is also at 4 .
Many thanks to the staff and management of the hotel for the excellent service, friendly attitude to people , for the accurate work and for the cleanliness in the rooms. We will definitely stop again .
Disgusting! The room was not cleaned, they settled in another, slightly lower class. Everything in the room is old, dirty wallpaper, under the bed has not been cleaned for probably a year! A centimeter layer of dust and some dried cookies. The faucet handle in the bathroom is falling off! The sconce in the bedroom barely holds on to one nail. The dishes in the room are dirty.
Of the advantages, only the luggage storage and security guards
When I am in Brest, I have to rent a hotel and always try to rent a room in an Intourist if there are places.
I like the location, cleanliness, and for those who have free pocket money, there is a Casino on the ground floor (poker, roulette, slot machines).
I recommend this hotel to everyone..
The hotel has an excellent location (1-2 km to the Fortress and 400 meters to the street with lanterns). Polite staff, delicious cuisine in the lobby bar (up to 10 rubles for lunch and breakfast), bright rooms. The availability of parking spaces is also pleasing. 42 rubles for a place in a double room, lived 05.2023.
Minor disadvantages: the water in the shower and sink drains very badly, the dumpster / bucket is literally 3 liters.
In general, a great option for living, I recommend it!!!
A wonderful Soviet-style hotel. I'm not bothered by the lack of a phone, on the contrary, I'm glad that no one bothers me once again.
Refrigerator, shower, bathroom, bed. Everything you need for business trips and tours.
The terrible condition of the room. Dead furniture, plumbing. There has been no repair for 20 years. Dirty Windows, dead flies on the windowsill. The TV is huge and old and does not work. There are 2 sockets for the whole room. The curtains are dirty. There is no air conditioner, and the window can't even be opened properly. Only one window opens, out of two possible ones. I can't evaluate the device. We spent (thank God) only one night.
Maybe there are good rooms in this hotel. But, judging by ours, repairs have not been done since Soviet times. We were part of a tour group on the bus. That's probably why we were moved into the oldest (cheapest) rooms. But, you can just sleep together after a busy day of sightseeing.

A good hotel, friendly staff, you can buy delicious breakfasts. The rooms are both renovated and old. We were unlucky, we got 2 very old rooms. In one of them there was a TV from the 90s, almost a museum exhibit. The walls are shabby, the furniture is old. Cleanliness also leaves much to be desired. The hair on the towels, the linen with stains, the bedspreads are very old and stained. Lena the Flying One would be horrified. It will be very cool to make repairs in the rooms and keep them clean. But you can stop at one.
The staff is polite and friendly. The rooms are fresh and clean, the furniture is new, and the room also has air conditioning, a kettle and a hairdryer. There is a smoking room on each floor. A cooler with drinking water is installed in the corridor. The breakfasts/lunches are delicious and inexpensive.
The rooms are large, there is a kettle, a refrigerator, and the furniture is normal. There are dishes, crystal glasses and wine glasses, forks and knives of nickel silver. The location is convenient in the center.
One of the advantages is clean bed linen.
Cons-a prehistoric bathroom with a toilet bowl, which is impossible to sit on, 20-25 centimeters to the wall! The towels are torn and frayed, but clean. The bed is broken, the board is bolted to the leg, but this does not help, it is tilted to the side and you roll down. The furniture is just dead, the TV is from the last century. The breakfast is continental, but not very tasty, the coffee is good and the glazed cheeses pleased! That's it! It's fine for a one-night business trip, but in my right mind I wouldn't stay here!
The hotel is located in a convenient location. The bed is clean, at least visually, the rest of the amenities are so-so. There is breakfast and it pleases, in principle, edible, at home! The coffee is tasteless, but cheap. There is no hair dryer and no one warned about this when checking in (you can certainly ask the administrator for it!) . The condition in the bathroom is below in the photo. I believe that it is possible to wash and wash) and wipe the dust before settling in. And yes, there is no tea, no kettle. You can't even buy from the administrator, and the cafe in the hotel does not work in the evening. Unfortunately, the photo of the shortcomings was rejected.
We arrived at this hotel with a class, there were no special expectations, but what happened turned out to be a complete disappointment. It is clear that the rooms were inexpensive, but this does not give the right: do not clean, do not replace broken fixtures, faucets, etc.
And now about everything in order, as soon as we checked in, an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom immediately hit our nose, it smelled as if someone had died right there. The bathtub itself is very dirty, as is the toilet, which for some reason is located close to the wall. By the way, someone did die in this room, and it's not even my nerve cells, but a cockroach under the bedside table.
This problem was not only in our room, people constantly complained about dirt, broken lights, lack of fans, which are located in each room by poking (one of the identical rooms could be missing things that are in the second)
I will not even talk about the dust that was everywhere.
I wanted to find the advantages in this hotel and noticed the kettle, but the trouble is - it has mold and it is as dirty as everything here, including the windows.
Bottom line: it is better to overpay and reach interesting objects by yourself than to live in such conditions
We lived in a room of category A, the room is clean, freshly renovated, there is a refrigerator. Of the cons - there is no hair dryer, how so!?
Breakfast was also pleased, 3 options are offered, good coffee is served, the reception is my respect, wonderful staff!
The location of the hotel is ideal: one way - Brest Fortress is 30 minutes away. walking distance, 200 meters away is the pedestrian Sovetskaya Street with the famous lamplighter. From the train station 30 min.walking or taking a taxi for 7 minutes for 5.5 rubles. The conditions are quite acceptable for 78 rubles. for a room for two. There is a mini fridge, a kettle, a lot of towels. There is no hair dryer. You can leave your belongings at the hotel after check-out. I definitely recommend it!
The hotel is 3 stars, everything fits.
Clean, bright, air-conditioned. A small shower, a trash can - little things that do not affect the quality.
The location is great. A couple of minutes and you're at the waterfront, cafes, shops.
The only downside is the breakfast time. The website says from 7, confirmed at check-in this time. However, in the morning it turned out that from 7.30. Take into account when planning time.
There are no questions for breakfast, options to choose from (hearty and sweet), coffee in the coffee machine or tea. Fast, satisfying and delicious.
The bathroom is in terrible condition, although the room itself has been renovated. But that's not the main thing. The windows overlooked the Central Department Store. There is a nightclub and drunk people under the windows. Masherov Avenue is a place of night racing.
The staff is excellent and helpful.
About the hotel... Parking is spontaneous, there are no places if you drive up on a weekday. There is a toll booth nearby. We had a two-room room. Mud, mud everywhere! It seems that they just change the bed linen, they don't even take a rag in their hands to simply brush off dust and greasy stains. The breakfasts are passable. The only advantage of this hotel is its location, it is in the center. P. S did not list all the little things in the room that were not working, out of order, clogged.. In general, it's bad! I don't recommend it, definitely.
The room has a terrible smell and stuffiness. There is a huge layer of dust under the bed, cockroaches are running around in the rooms. The reception is rude, the cleaners do not change the bed, only remove the garbage from the trash. There is no use from the fan, it broke down after 2 days, and they also made me pay 75 rubles for it, although it does not cost that much. One night wasps flew in the window, the staff said that this was not their problem. Cockroaches and beetles crawl in the rooms. Complete horror.
We were in a hotel suite. This is a very nice room, modern decoration, very clean, I liked the buffet with nickel silver spoons and crystal glasses separately.
In general, it's not bad. It is in its infancy, but a lot needs to be finalized. Room cleaning, broken irons... But with all this, delicious breakfasts. Thanks to the staff, everything is fast and cultural.
I liked everything.
The view from the window is gorgeous.
The furniture in the room is without dull modern plastic.
There is an exhibition of paintings on the floor.
The price is acceptable.
Next time I will consider this hotel again.
The hotel is located in close proximity to the attractions. Parking for cars is provided both for an additional fee and free of charge near the hotel. The rooms are clean, there is a cooler with drinking water on each floor. I recommend you to take breakfast, because everything is delicious (there are three combo sets of the main course, drinks: coffee, tea, dessert) and pleasant service for the employees of the catering area.
It was built in the USSR precisely for intourists. It is located in the city center. The room has everything you need, it's clean. For 1-3 nights it's the best!
The hotel is excellent. Good location, cleanliness, fresh renovation in the suite, the room has almost everything you need, friendly staff. I was a little upset about breakfast.
An old hotel. The staff is good. The rooms are clean. I recommend it for a short stay. Minus: noise from the adjacent road. The prices are quite decent.
It's horrible. Never send a foreign tourist here. Arriving at night, we were offered a more expensive room for 110 rubles a night. As a result, cold batteries, no soap!, no shower gel. And all this is only because the maid did not put it down. And in the morning I didn't need it all anymore. Very bad. And the terminal in the bar has not been working for months.
Sovkovaya Hotel , some of the staff seemed to have remained from the USSR. A number with a stretch of three. The most adequate employee for the entire stay is one of the men from the Security Service. At the reception: a young girl-she doesn't care at all, and an older woman-if she gives the room key (and this is an ancient key, and not an electronic one), she does it with such a look that it feels like a tub of slop has been poured out.
They don't like to change towels, the noise from the street is just terrible. The windows are the cheapest (apparently) the sound of rain does not muffle, but enhances the feeling that these drops are knocking on the head.
I can't say anything about the food-fortunately I didn't have a chance to eat there.
The hotel is located in the city center, so it's noisy for me. The hotel is being slowly renovated, but not all floors have been repaired yet. Perhaps in a couple of years it will be 👍.
Spending the night in an air-conditioned room is comfort, in hot weather it is very saving, of the advantages there is a walking street nearby, the room is clean, there is a boiler with water in the corridor. Of the minuses, the staff who met was not very polite (the end of the shift), the other shift was already friendly and the girl answered all the questions, there is no hair dryer and iron in the room, no one said about it, after 19.00 there is no opportunity to have dinner at the hotel.
