We are staying at this hotel for the second year in a row. Definitely one of the best hotels in Sukhumi. Nice staff, good food, everything is always clean and tidy.
There are actually no disadvantages, of course, not always and not everything goes according to a pre-thought-out plan, but the hotel and its staff strive for the ideal so that their guests receive the best service :)
The hotel is located 10 minutes from the beach, which I consider it a plus, since it is not a tourist center, and therefore, it is quiet and peaceful around.

Not a bad, new hotel.
Of the cons, the audibility is terrible.

A great place to relax with both family and friends. This is the first time in Abkhazia. We chose this hotel based on its location and reviews. We didn't regret a single day! The hotel is wonderful in everything. The staff is polite and will help you solve any issue. Cuisine : the breakfast is varied, everyone will find something for themselves. Dinner is decent and varied every day. The room is clean, bright, cleaning every day. The windows are large, there is a balcony and a wonderful view. Location 15 minutes leisurely to the sea, 20 minutes to the botanical garden, railway station is also nearby.

We have been vacationing since March 6-8, we are delighted with the hotel. The service is at the highest level, customer-oriented, the staff is very polite and pleasant.
The hotel is new and very beautiful. We stayed in a Deluxe room - spacious, modern, clean, everything you need is there.
Daily cleaning, high-quality.
There is a small very warm outdoor pool. Good breakfasts, varied.
It was a birthday, we were congratulated, we were presented with dessert and champagne-very nice, we made a discount when booking.
Well done!!!
Of the cons - the hotel does not have its own territory, but this is understandable, the city center, and there is no possibility.
I definitely recommend it!!!

I was at the Garuda Hotel from 12.01.2024-16.01.2024. The hotel left the most pleasant impressions. We arrived late. We were greeted by polite staff. I really liked that there was a huge mandarin vase at the entrance. We were gorging on them. There was a compliment waiting for us at the bar in the form of a glass of wine in honor of our arrival. The room was on the 2nd floor, Egyptian floor, deluxe room. The room is huge, with two balconies. The room had everything!!!! Live and rejoice. The bed is clean, all the accessories in the bathroom are disposable. Tea and coffee were replenished daily. The breakfasts were very tasty and hearty. Dinners were cheap, for 500 rubles buffet. The hotel fulfilled any wishes immediately. I enjoyed staying at this hotel. I didn't think there could be such cool hotels in Sukhum. The level is high. Also, excursions by minivan are organized directly from the hotel. We took the Ritz. We were traveling in comfort for 6 people. The driver, he's a guide right away.

The Garuda Hotel is located in the city center, very beautiful interior, delicious buffet. Upon arrival, a welcome drink of wine to choose from. The furniture is good, the mattresses are comfortable.

The hotel is on solid 4. The food (we had breakfasts and dinners) is good. Everything is very tasty and there is a fairly rich selection. Alcohol at the bar for affordable prices)
From the wishes: there is no possibility to sit down at the reception waiting for check-in or transfer, it is not very convenient to wait standing from the road.

We really liked the hotel!modern, there is an elevator, the rooms are very nice, beautiful, large, thought out to the smallest detail with a set for relaxation, there is a small heated swimming pool. We had a rest from 30.08.2023-06.09.2023, my husband and I really liked it. The food is very tasty, there may not be much choice, but the main thing is high-quality and delicious. We ate in local restaurants, we didn't like it. Clean, cozy, spacious rooms, high ceilings. Everything is done for the convenience of vacationers. The elevator is not noisy. I was congratulated on my birthday, which is especially pleasant.

The hotel is wonderful, it was the first time! Everything is on the level: service, food, the staff is very polite! In general, we enjoyed staying in it. The sea is in a straight line for 7-10 minutes. There are shops and a pharmacy near the hotel.

Terrible attitude and tired repair. They first settled in a room on the top floor, where external units hung behind the wall and buzzed, and even a dark and low family room, as if in Papa Carlo's closet, they had to change the room with an additional fee. At the check-out, they said that we drank a mini bar, looked into the trash can, which had our bottles in it, and a day later we also debited money from the card, according to the changed reservation. Breakfast and dinner are not bad. I don't recommend it, and it's still a long way to the sea, you can't walk in the heat.

The cozy hotel is located in the city center. The cuisine is very diverse - starting with dietary nutrition, ending with high-calorie dishes. And everything is sooo delicious, a solid five for the food!
The hotel staff is very polite.
Clean beautiful themed rooms, cleaning every day.
The room has a set of cosmetics, terry bathrobes and towels, slippers, a safe, a hairdryer, a refrigerator, a large TV, Wi-Fi and a kettle.
There is no private beach, I suggest visiting a private Mocha beach, it will be comfortable with children there. It is also a 15-minute walk from the hotel to the central beach.
If we are going to Sukhum again, we will definitely stop here👍

This time I came specifically to Sukhum and changed three hotels in four days. - this hotel is located on a busy street, the noise of passing cars may interfere with you. The views from the balcony will not impress you. Sukhum is full of hotels (for less money, where there are enchanting views from the window) - it takes about 20-25 minutes to get to the center and the embankment with a leisurely step. - this is an option for a business trip hotel in which such experienced tourists will not feel comfortable, since there are crowds of people even out of season (there is only one elevator for the entire hotel). Group tourists like to check into this hotel. If you are in the mood for a chamber vacation, then you definitely are not here. - the hotel pool is a complete misunderstanding. It's more of a bathing bathroom. - dismantling and construction works are currently taking place in the hotel and the sound of a jackhammer will not allow you to sleep at lunch

The hotel is very cool, we had a rest in October. The towel, bedding set and bathrobe are snow-white. The design of the room is just wow. The balcony is cozy, there is a mosquito net on the door. The maids clean up clean, attentive, keep it up! We took breakfast and dinner: they cook like in a restaurant, a variety of food, well, very tasty. Chefs are top class!!! And cons: the bathroom shower is very small and the curtain. We also stopped by with a 6-year-old child who eats almost nothing (porridge a little and then not all porridge; veal or turkey soup), when we voiced such a problem, they still made us pay for breakfast and dinner at full cost, these are all disadvantages to the owner of the hotel.

The hotel is very beautiful. The rooms are lovely. Cleaning was carried out daily. The buffet is varied. The dishes are delicious. Meat and fish are plentiful for dinner. Moreover, the dishes are different all the time. Upon check-in, a glass of wine!
The staff is very polite. We are ready to help with any question.
The pool is too small. Only for children. The water was not heated after June 16. There are no sun beds. There is no territory around the pool either.
I would like to wish that they arrange at least minimal leisure time for children. For example, a small children's room. I think that the possibilities of the territory allow it.

We had a rest with the whole family. We were in Abkhazia for the first time. The staff is lovely, the rooms are clean. Each floor is designed in its own style. There are rooms with terraces, which adds comfort and variety. A good breakfast buffet. In the morning, you have to wait a long time for the elevator. The air conditioners always work at + 17 * C, such a contrast with the hot street is very useful. The menu in the restaurant is not that diverse. Basically all the food in the restaurants on the waterfront. The location is convenient: about 10 minutes to the sea just in a straight line. And again, the hotel is very clean. The pool was not used. I admit I haven't even seen him. In general, there was no need;)
There are small problems with the fittings (door locks between rooms in the room), where they do not happen?))

We were going to spend the New Year at Garuda hotels. We paid for the banquet of 19700 rubles on 20 December 2024. I changed my mind and went to the hotel. They wrote a statement on December 30, 2024 for a refund. The money was not refunded on 3.01 2025. They promise that the management will consider it. I do not recommend the hotel for accommodation because no one returns the money and no one assumes responsibility.

In August, my friend and I decided to spend a vacation at sea. As soon as they saw the glamping advertisement, they fell in love at first sight. Very comfortable houses, daily cleaning. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything is so emotional! Bartenders make evenings by the pool incredibly fun! A bus takes you to the sea 3 times a day, an excellent driver who tells very interesting stories along the way! In general, anyone who decides to spend a vacation in Abkhazia, come here, you will absolutely not regret it! We decided that we would definitely come back!!!
