Poor thing. The entrance is only pompous with columns. The collection of plants is poor. There are few flowers. Except for the lotuses in the ponds. And that's it. As everywhere in Sukhumi, there is devastation... But the entrance price is 500 rubles! In the arboretum in Sochi 250₽! But how can this be compared!!!
I do not advise you to visit.
It's a waste of time and money.

A small but interesting park. There are more than 4,000 plant species from all over the world. It's nice to take a walk on a hot day. I strongly recommend going on a guided tour. David is an excellent guide, a young man with a broad outlook and a sense of humor, time will fly by fun and informative 👍

I didn't like it very much. Plants need to be treated for aphids and diseases. Entrance is paid - I want to see beautiful, well-groomed plants. And they grow on their own. There are definitely not enough workers- to clean the tracks. Mom was here 40 years ago - she said it used to be better.

I was in a wonderful place - the Botanical Garden in June of this year. A well-maintained, beautiful place; there is a place to sit, relax, admire the plants. Entrance is paid-300 rubles, not such a huge amount, there is a toilet -10 rubles- clean (by the way, cleanliness depends primarily on us, and not on who cleans!!). You can book a guided tour. I was not interested in the price, because I like to walk alone)) But I overheard a passing tour - the guide tells me interestingly, competently. I don't know who writes negative reviews... Probably, people ran into the "maybe".. It is interesting, informative, and beautiful. For a small country, this is a worthy place not only for recreation, but also for replenishing knowledge. I advise you to visit..

I visited your botanical garden during my vacation. It is certainly a wonderful paradise. It was nice to know that there are more than 4,000 species of plants from different parts of the world in the garden. Thanks to a wonderful, knowledgeable guide, I got acquainted with a lot of new information about the plant world. I especially remember the evergreen sequoia in the middle of the garden, which is more than three hundred years old. This suggests, why does a person live less than a tree? Although all people have a desire to live forever , which is written in the Bible: "God even put eternity in the hearts of people...". The Creator created a man who can enjoy the beauty of the world forever, and not just for 70-80 years.In the near future, the Creator will fulfill his plan, and the whole earth will become as beautiful as your Botanical Garden. The garden does not have high-quality paths, puddles and mud. The garden is not well maintained. The plants are mainly from China and Japan.
For the kind of money we pay at the entrance, you can at least fill out the trails and remove the scattered bottles.

I visited 2 times: in June 2015 and in August 2022. I really like this place. All plants are equipped with signs, you can have a great time walking along the alleys of the garden, admiring the wonderful flowers, plants and ponds. The territory is small, but well maintained. Entrance for adults is 300 rubles. You can take a guided tour or on your own. A great place for a photo shoot. Plus, you can learn a lot of amazing facts about the meth flora. There is a small cafe on the territory of the garden, but I did not go there.
