Very interesting. There are many varieties of plants, it is described in some detail what kind of plants and where they were imported from! For general development, you need to know
A very rich collection of plants, but the territory itself, like the whole of Abkhazia, froze at the level of the USSR in the 90s. For the older generation, it will probably bring back pleasant memories of youth, but for the "young" there is clearly not enough modern landscape design and renovation :) I would like to see more plaques with the names of plants, themed gardens and the spirit of modernity.
I haven't felt such emotions in a very long time. It's very cool to see plants from all over the world in one place. And the bamboo grove is love at first sight.
Of course, the garden has not become as picturesque as it was in 1986, but it will be interesting for everyone to visit it, a lot of beautiful and interesting things, plant names are just a find of a speech therapist and excellent diction training😉 There are wonderful artifacts, a lot of interesting plants and it's great to take a walk, both in summer in the shade of majestic redwoods and in winter. It is a pity, of course, that not all the territory is well maintained, all the pools are very polluted, but the garden is being looked after and I really hope it will return to its former splendor
A small and cozy garden. And very interesting guides! It is necessary to take it. I learned a lot from the life of plants

An interesting park for a short walk.
The entrance fee is acceptable.
There are a lot of plants, there are benches on the paths where you can even take a nap after lunch :)
There are small ponds in which turtles and huge fish swim.
We are happy to visit every visit to Abkhazia!
A large area. The variety of plants and reservoirs. The paths are neat and shaded. There are several toilets, rest areas where to sit down. There is a cafe on site. There is a place to take pictures.
We walked in it for a long time , very beautiful , from the word VERY ! There are many beautiful locations for photos! We were in the rain , but it did not overshadow our impressions ! I'll attach some photos! It's a pity that photos over 10mb are not loaded!
What kind of review can you write about such a place?.. Of course, only positive! People, visit such places as often as possible! It's an oasis in the desert! Although there is beauty all around in Abkhazia, of course, but still in this garden you can see a lot of interesting things: trees, shrubs, flowers, fountains... I've been there more than once.
We were a family with children - we liked everything. For a small fee, you can walk around a large area, admire a variety of plants, turtles, and get some fresh air)
A pleasant and interesting place, a good idea, there is a river with a bamboo grove on the shore and artificial ponds with lilies and lotuses, where turtles are found.
Having visited at different times of the year, we saw the flowering of different plants.
It's great to walk in the shade of plants, enjoying the view and breathing clean air! It is better, of course, to join a group with a guide. A beautiful place, I recommend it!
It is difficult to call it botanical, there are more interesting specimens of plants in other parks of the city. There is a lot of work there, but no one does anything. A lot of mosquitoes, you can't walk for a long time, you must take a repellent.
The garden is not particularly large, but there is something to see. There are a lot of beautiful plants, red-eared turtles can be found in the area of reservoirs.
There is an interesting place in urban architecture.
Comfortably. Lots of plants. It is interesting for both children and adults. Well-groomed paths. Benches for relaxing and contemplating nature.
There is a toilet.
We were in January. I was surprised that roses were blooming in the open air. The territory is large, but a little unkempt. Perhaps because of the winter. I liked the bamboo alleys. Lots of exotic trees. I recommend you to visit.
In general, it is quite an interesting, beautiful and informative place. Those who have not been there are obliged to visit it. But I'll give you 4 stars, and now I'll explain why. First of all, it's the price. Well, the price should not be 450 rubles (leto2023) for a walk in the park. Yes, it's just a walk in the garden and that's it. Secondly, the information content is extremely weak. The signs near the trees and bushes are often very small and far away. And thirdly. We need more benches in the garden. When it's hot and you want to take shelter in the shade, as a rule, you can often be busy. And so, in general, I liked everything.
You can visit, just not in the heat, your day is not worth 400 rubles , the whole walk will take 30 minutes , there is a dining room and toilets on site, cash or transfer is better if there is Internet
Don't go, it's a rip-off. The garden is small, the entrance fee is serious (especially by the standards of Abkhazia). There is not much to do and watch there, there is nowhere to walk. By the way, you will also be forced to pay extra for entering the toilet. The staff is extremely rude.
A cool guide, he will tell you a lot of interesting things, information is easy to remember. The sense of humor is great. They came with such a mood, but left satisfied. The view is cool, there is something to see. The entrance is 400rubles-in cash or by transfer.
Admission is 400 rubles. It's quite cozy inside. The alleys are well maintained. You can safely pay using the mir card. If you're in Sukhumi, it's worth going anyway.
A beautiful and very atmospheric botanical garden. It may not be very interesting without a tour. We took the tour right at the time of ticket purchase, it costs 500 rubles in February 2024. The guide was a pleasant young man who told interesting information about botany, as well as local legends and interspersed everything with funny jokes. Despite the light rain, we had a sincere pleasure
A few years ago I came here, there are many plants that can not be found anywhere. The only thing is, the entrance price was raised to 400 rubles, it's expensive, for those who do not come there for the first time, but everything is wonderful
It is a very beautiful place, original, there are many specimens of plants. Unfortunately, we were not able to go with a guide to all the sights of this garden.
I compare it with the Sochi arboretum. The square is small, the signs are rare and barely noticeable, there is no virtual guide.
It seems to be clean, but... a feeling of dilapidation and desolation :(
By analogy with my review with the Kyndyr source, I am writing a similar review. The garden itself is of course plush. It is absolutely not worth its 400 rubles. Your whole country is green. The eye is not happy. Everything is the same in the botanical garden. The maximum price is 150 rubles. But you got 1 point for a paid toilet for a measly 10 rubles. The price is already considerable. Also, profiting from a person's physiological need is low and petty. Put toilets outside the establishments and take as much money as you want. This is at least some kind of business. But when a person has paid for the entrance and there is also a paid toilet! You are insulting only yourself with this! I didn't go to the theaters. Maybe you have paid toilets there for 5 rubles! I will definitely write a letter of complaint to the appropriate department. I did not expect such pettiness from you, Abkhazians!
Nice park!! Beautiful trees and shrubs! It's very nice to walk in the park!Lots of greenery!! Everything is well maintained!! The ponds are beautifully decorated with lotuses!!
It is a very sad sight, nothing remains of its former greatness (it used to be under the USSR). The ticket price is 400 rubles for an adult, children under 7 are free of charge. There are practically only varieties of bamboo. If you just take time in the heat.
The Botanical Garden is not bad, even out of season, in the month of March, and even in the rain. The magnolia is gorgeous, lots of plants, clean, it's a pity that the dining room didn't work and there were no excursions, and it didn't seem so big as stated in the description about it.
A nice garden, beautiful, a lot of things are fashionable to see, it's nice to take a walk, you definitely need to walk to the ponds with turtles, moreover, there is a monkey nursery nearby
The garden itself is small, but there is a huge variety of plants from all over the world. Everything is signed, everything is being watered. I took off the asterisk for the prices: 400 rubles for an adult, 150 for children under 12 years old. I think it's a little expensive to walk around the park. Especially if it's a family.
I really liked the botanical garden. They were in April 2024. There are many beautiful trees, everything blooms and smells. There is a toilet on site. Admission costs 400rubles per person. I recommend you to visit.
We were in September 2024. We expected more, but because of the drought, most of the plants simply withered. A public place and in complete disrepair from fountains to toilets, a garbage can was hidden in a bamboo grove. There are few photos and locations for beautiful photos.
We had a great walk in the park.
A lot of interesting and old trees. Cute fountains/ponds with turtles.
I really liked planting with different varieties of bamboo. Squirrels are still jumping on it.
The workers are making great efforts to preserve the botanical garden.
A complete disappointment! The park is small, there is not much to see. The most interesting thing is a couple of century-old sequels and that's it... I thought that in addition to everything presented, there would be tangerine trees, apricots, persimmons and so on. To see how they grow.... And here is just a poorly organized park with greenery.
The children were not 100% interested, the courtyard with fruit and berry trees in the yard of the people we lived with made a greater impression.
I do not recommend it
relax in a bamboo grove, it's great!. I'm not a fan of botany, but I liked it. it is better to visit in the morning, it will not be hot, and you need to have a desire to walk around the territory, rare plants themselves will not suit you)
The nature and aromas of the plants are impressive. Entrance is paid. Children under 8 years old are free of charge. Up to 12 years old with a discount, then as adults. You can go through everything with a guided tour. There is a toilet on site. The dining room is behind the fence, but the entrance is from the garden. There is a small fountain with plants and water lilies. The leaves of water lilies are decorated with frogs and snails. It is possible with children of any age. At the entrance and exit, you can buy souvenirs, ice cream, lemonade.
