Several trees were imported from China and Japan, sequoia from the USA, otherwise the plants presented in the botsad grow 5 meters behind the fence)
The turtle they write about is red-eared, sold on the market for 200₽)
We went without a guide, perhaps it will be more interesting with a guide. The garden was not impressed.

A very beautiful garden in the center of Sukhum. I would love to wander there for hours on sunlit paths surrounded by centuries-old exotic trees and chat with turtles.
However, today I came there with friends. Alas and ah. 09.30, Thursday- the garden is closed and there is not a single explanatory announcement. Daily work is announced. I was upset.

Turtles and frogs live in ponds, unfortunately many trees were damaged by thunderstorms, for example, one of the largest sequoias (50+ meters), somewhere in 2018 was destroyed by lightning. Now there is only a huge stump left. Century-old trees were also not spared by lightning. The rest is a classic botanical garden.

"In Abkhazia.". That says it all. The forest is in the center of the city. Don't expect something like a park, something breathtakingly beautiful.. 300 rubles from the nose just for being planted once.
No one has done anything here since the Communist era.
It is disgusting that people stupidly take money and cannot simply clean up something, refine it.. yes, just to lighten the thicket..
The laziness of the residents is simply killing at every turn.
