Tourists who come to Sukhum definitely need to visit the Botanical Garden. An amazing place! We learned a lot about plants and got a real aesthetic pleasure. We visited the Botanical Garden in Sukhumi with our family and were satisfied. The park is of medium size, with beautiful and lush tropical vegetation, which creates a pleasant atmosphere for walking and outdoor recreation. A very well-maintained place, moderately wild, with ponds in which fish and turtles swim. There are no rides in the garden, but there are walking paths, benches under a canopy and stumps for relaxing in the shade. Picturesque photos are obtained here, a great place for photo shoots.

The Botanical Garden is located in the center of Sukhum. Entrance is paid. We had a vacation in July 2024. The entrance fee is 400 rubles. There are a lot of different plants in the garden. There is a bamboo grove. There is a name plate next to each plant. But to see some of them, you need to try. There are benches in the shade where you can sit down and relax. Although, the area of the park is small. Tip: take a guide, because he will tell you in detail about each plant. There is no information on the plates except the name of the plant. I did not give 5 stars, because I think that the ticket price is too high. And if you take a guide, you will have to pay extra. And so, a very beautiful place to walk. Although, modern landscape design is clearly not enough.

The Botanical Garden is an amazing place, a huge variety of plant species, Mighty sequoias, magnificent pines, beautiful century-old lime trees!
The only disadvantage is that not all trees have signs, not all are signed and you have to guess what kind of tree)

I liked the park, it was green, well-groomed, there was a lot of shade in the heat. It's nice to walk. There are many different types of magnolias, palms, bananas, lotuses, bamboo, hydrangeas, etc. You can buy ice cream/water/souvenirs at the entrance.
There is a cafe, but we didn't go in.

I remember only:
- a pond with lotuses, turtles and fish
- gorgeous redwoods
- bamboo grove
- linden tree is ≈400 years old
The rest is just as beautiful as all the available parks in Abkhazia

We were paid in cash, and they didn't even give us tickets. And so we walk around the garden, read the signs "For stowaway entry into the garden, a fine of 1000 rubles" and with the realization that the grandmother put the money in her pocket.
