An atmospheric place with an ideal location in the historical center of the city for short stops and for lovers of night parties. The rooms are three-star, but there is everything you need. The minus is huge - the noise from the street, you won't get enough sleep at night. In fact, there are no breakfasts. There is no point in buying a voucher for 300 rubles. for breakfast at the Vershina restaurant, because you will still have to pay extra. And the restaurant is open from 09.00, and not from 07.00 as stated.
The hotel is not for those who are used to European comfort and high service. However, the location of the hotel more than overcomes all its disadvantages.
Wonderful hotel! I liked everything so much! High-quality, very soft bed linen, clean towels and cleaning every day, high ceilings, beautiful reception and accommodation managers, very friendly pleasant staff, spacious room, long well-groomed corridors, lobby-a separate love! Such a beautiful lobby! Under the most pleasant impression, I will be happy to return once again to this wonderful atmosphere of the hotel
Probably not, rather than yes. The location is certainly chic, everything is very colorful, steeped in history. But the rooms, of course, are already a complete disaster, the springs from the mattress just dig into the body, there is no central lighting in one of the rooms, only a floor lamp. The carpet on the floor is already frankly scary and dirty. There are no slippers, and there is also a remote control from the second air conditioner. It was not possible to sort out the telecom, no one came to the request for help. The hotel is suitable only in the format of a one-time overnight stay, there is, alas, no comfort here, and the price tag is dashing. It's really a pity, because this place may just be the pearl of the city, but there is some kind of decay and desolation in the entire hotel.
I really liked the hotel. This is really a hotel! Plenty of space, spacious reception area. The room was an improved standard, room 207. Gorgeous))
High-quality hotel furniture, a king size bed with a very comfortable mattress, thoughtful layout, fine linen stripe satin, blinds on the windows (direct view of the embankment), mini bar, large bathroom with bidet, large TV with multiple channels, air conditioning and a heater in the form of a battery in the room, in the bathroom - coil, hair dryer, soap / shower gel / shampoo. In general, everything is decent and pleasant)
A great place is @hotel__ritsa.
The color. Location. The view from the balcony is a separate kind of art! The staff is friendly. Spending a few nights there was very pleasant and enough. And do not expect the impossible and luxury from this place. The hotel has been restored, but requires cosmetic repairs.
And from our balcony on March 23, 1925, Trotsky delivered a speech in memory of Lenin. He remembered Lenin, but grieved for the three dead.
Of course, there is no elevator and an old room stock, but the incredibly positive aura of this place allows you to think that you want to come back here repeatedly ...
Very responsive girls at the reception who are ready to help with any question. Security, who will help you handle your suitcases without an elevator. Maids who are ready to clean up the room at any time and at the exact moment when it is convenient for the guest. Agree, it is very valuable and, apparently, for this reason, I want to come back here.
We took a two-room suite, not everything was checked during the inspection, it seems that the first impression is normal.
Positive:
High ceilings with a large chandelier.
A huge bed that can fit in the fourth.
Wide corridors with carpets, a large beautiful foyer that eclipsed the eyes when examining the rooms.
It is located in the center, but it turned out to be a disadvantage.
Minuses:
The mattress on the sofa where we put the children is the most terrible! Rigid springs dig into the sides.
They asked us to do something, they put a blanket on the mattress, but it didn't save the situation much.
Windows - no sound insulation. And here it is necessary, because there is a cafe nearby and drunken guests are screaming all night. There are no curtains, only tulle. It is impossible to sleep.
It is very difficult to close the door to the balcony.
The bidet is in the shower, and the toilet is at the other end of the room.
The carpet is terribly worn.
We did not find the remote control for the second air conditioner.
A good hotel. The location is the best! At the Colonnade on the embankment. There are many cafes nearby, 2 theaters.
The staff is friendly.
Parking nearby is free.
Dear connoisseurs of comfort, service and convenience, Abkhazia is not about that. Abkhazia is about nature and beauty in the eyes of the beholder.
Brekhalovka is one of the most legendary places in Sukhum. And this hotel is a reminder of something beautiful and majestic from the past. Staying in such a location is already a gift, an evening promenade along the embankment, charming sunrises on the balcony and a sound sleep of a baby in clean blankets. A room with 2 rooms is a godsend for parents with children. Everything was very decent, we enjoyed it. On-site parking, separate exit. Breakfast with a view of the embankment and wonderful coffee on the sand.
One of the advantages is a beautiful view. That's it!!!! The lack of service is absolute. First. What struck me was the placement. On the third floor, there are suites, there is no elevator, no one helped to lift the luggage. . The balcony doors do not close in the rooms. It's noisy outside until 3 a.m. There are no night curtains, only tulle, so you won't be able to sleep comfortably, if at all. What struck me is that the bidet is located in one room (in the bedroom) of the bathroom, and the toilet is at the other end of the room)))) I didn't understand the point..... the telephone for communication with the staff is located in the (!) TOILET. The walls are painted partly with curtains, partly with platbands))) I would understand such conditions in a roadside motel, for 1500-2000.... The locks in the toilet are broken!!!! Not just broken, but torn out with part of the door...... those toilet doors are always open.
Never ever stay here in rooms with access to the bar. In front of the RUINS bar, where the locals are yelling drunk until morning, cars drive up and music turns on. I don't know what silence is after 11 and respect here at all. But thanks to the administrators - Olya and another girl in the night, I was moved to a room where it is quiet, but the category is higher. In general, about the hotel: it has been since 1914, and the furniture is probably the same, and the curtains, which I even like. Everything is old, but clean and tidy. A very comfortable soft mattress. A normally adjustable shower with hot water. The location is super convenient.
Tough is not the right word. The impressions are super, with one fat minus common to Sukhum...These are lecture blackouts from 2 to 4 nights and days...the discomfort is brutal because nothing works, and it's wild. No Internet, no tea, no light at night to reach the toilet..and the dark city...Depressing...especially in the Ritz, my windows overlooked the Griffin Fountain with a promenade, and there it was dark at night...It's creepy
The hotel room, sold as an improved standard, has no ventilation of the bathroom!!! The towels are gray (as in Soviet-style trains), the three-fold closet has only two doors, and the promised view from the window to the sea is a "hole in the well" with 2/3 of the space occupied by the ROOF!!! The provided breakfasts are not such, because "YOU made a deposit of 300 rubles", and then you choose the dishes from the menu yourself, where the prices are simply inadequate!!!
There were no polite staff! People aged 20+ , with cute faces, simply answer all your questions: "What can we do?".
If you value your health and comfort, refuse the services of this hotel! Living in it is not safe for human health.
Convenient location, near the embankment, parking is available in the courtyard for guests, everything is clean in the rooms, warm furniture, prices are above average, there are power outages
They write the conditions breakfast is included, in fact breakfast is breakfast in the nearest terrible restaurant, for the amount of 300 rubles you can choose anything. Or maybe it 's just coffee for the money . So there is no breakfast in fact. There is not even a bottle of plain water in the room, let alone tea or coffee bags. Not worth your money at all
There were a few more expectations.
A very old Sukhumi hotel, about 100 years old. Nothing struck the imagination. Next time, for this money, I will stay in a more modern hotel and have breakfast. As it turned out, our breakfasts were not included, however, I'm not sure that they even exist. There is no restaurant in the hotel. The nearest beach is 10 minutes on foot. But the Brekhalovka is nearby
A good hotel, cleaning every day, balconies in rooms with sea/city views, location in the center, many restaurants nearby.
The sea in which you can swim is far away, although the hotel is located on the first line, but there is no beach..
The famous Ritsa, the dream of many people, famous for its beauty and charming fascinatingly beautiful nature. It is definitely recommended to visit, it will not leave anyone indifferent.
I've been to this hotel more than once, but many years ago. I don't know what's wrong with her now, but there used to be a great hotel. Geographically, the best location in Sukhumi. Everything you need is nearby!
Abkhazia is love at first sight. Cuisine, climate, people. Sunrises and sunsets, warm sea and mountains. It's like a wife, alone and for life. Now about the hotel: a nice, cozy hotel. It is better to book in advance. Great location.
The location is great! You can't call it a hotel, but it will be enough for a hotel! Customer focus is zero! If you have a room on the fountain side, then in the summer the sound of the fountain will not let you sleep, and in the off-season at 6:30 in the morning, workers started a pump to wash the fountain! The windows have no noise isolation from the word at all! 2 stars only because it can be a good hotel in the future!
The location of the hotel is excellent, near the sea, the embankment, a lot of cafes / restaurants. The only thing is, there is no normal grocery store nearby, but it doesn't matter, you can walk.
We lived in an ordinary standard room with a view of the fountain, without a balcony. The fountain is noisy, but it doesn't bother us very much, we are used to it.
The room itself is simple, small, the furniture is good, high-quality, the interior is expensive, but tired.
The room has a mini-bar in the refrigerator with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, the prices are adequate. Also from the amenities in the room there is a hairdryer, a corkscrew, dishes (glasses, glasses), soap and soap accessories.
We did not have enough kettle in the room to drink tea/coffee in the evening in the room and did not bring regular drinking water, we bought it ourselves.
Another disadvantage is that there is no ventilation in the toilet, windows / doors were opened wide to ventilate.
Breakfasts were held in the Vershina restaurant on the ground floor, where you can go down without leaving the hotel. They were included in the price and the limit for two people was 600 rubles (300 rubles per person is obtained), if you go beyond this amount, then you just pay extra. The prices in this institution for breakfast are low , the portions are large, a good selection of dishes, everything is very tasty and satisfying. I would come here for breakfast even if I didn't live in this hotel.
In general, we liked the hotel, we would come back here again, only to another room, a bigger one.
Old hotel, great view of the sea and the center of Sukhum. There is a Brekhalovka nearby where you can try excellent coffee with eclairs. All restaurants and the alley of eucalyptus trees are within walking distance. A super place!
As they say, the remnants of former luxury... Awful.. Is the stopper for the door near the toilet so as not to break it?? But you'll get a slap on the forehead! ( The towels are torn (and the price is high
It's dirty, the room is not cleaned, repairs have been done for a long time. Windows and doors to the balcony have a low level of noise insulation and even worn rubber bands. One star only for the location
Plus-the location and the suite has a good view from the window + a lot of TV channels (but the TV itself is small).
Cons-there is no elevator, there is no water in the suite, there are no slippers, cheap cosmetics (and if you open the soap, then you need to buy a soap dish, otherwise there is nowhere to put it), a creaky bed, worn pillows, no curtains in the living room and you will not sleep in a dark room, a lot of repair flaws (everything is shabby, dusty and worn). They do not accept cards, they ask for prepayment. The staff is not focused on helping the guest and making the rest pleasant.
For the sake of objectivity, it is worth saying that, perhaps, this is one of the best places for Sukhumi.
In general, everything is fine, super location, super view, the price is adequate for such an arrangement, but still the handles from the chest of drawers fall off (broken faucet, etc.), it's not very expensive to put everything in order.
And so who cares about the location and the view from the window is super, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are cleaned every day, etc.
A wonderful place!!! The color. Location. The view from the balcony is a separate kind of art!!! The staff is friendly. It was very pleasant to spend a few nights there! But do not confuse and expect the impossible from this place. The hotel has been restored and restoration work is underway. Everything is getting better and more comfortable! We had a vacation in September 2022. I liked everything.
You should stay in this hotel at least for the atmosphere of the once majestic 20th century hotel in the very center of Sukhum. Take a superior room with a view of the colonnade. I would not place repairs, but according to the latest data, the reconstruction process is underway.
One of the most expensive hotels in the city. Lived in September 2023. No one has invested in the room fund for a long time. Superior Suite: The current shower cabin, lack of ventilation, the walls are stained and dirty, the bed is yes, large, with mulepusenkimi pillows and a sagging mattress in spots. The carpet is stained. The curtains are lowered from the hinges, the window cannot be opened, because at night mosquitoes fly in due to the proximity of the fountain. Check-in is strictly on time, they offered to walk for an hour along the embankment, although the way to Sukhum is not close.. Administrators with indifferent faces explained that they were obliged to post, and not smile at everyone.. Among the advantages of the establishment: the location of the hotel, conveniently located on the embankment, the Internet worked briskly and regularly, television broadcast on numerous channels, the mini-bar was filled optimally. Cups and a kettle were provided, towels were changed every day.
The hotel looks quite colorful, the location is great. Two minutes and you're at sea.
The rooms are very neat with high ceilings.
Just a chic mini-bar, lots of soft and alcoholic drinks + light snacks (prices are more than adequate)
From "-" I was on vacation in January and when the lights were turned off (this is often the case in Abkhazia) the heating was also turned off.
A pretty nice hotel with a good location. Near the embankment, the famous Brekhalovka, cafes and shops. They are populated strictly on time, even if the load is not high. The rooms have an inexpensive minibar.
Plus a pretty good room service with food delivery from the cafe downstairs.
We didn't take breakfast, so I won't say anything.
One of the disadvantages is the order of "tired" rooms. We lived in a suite, but the room had a worn cloth on the furniture, damaged carpet, cracked doors, a bunch of extension cords instead of normal electrical wiring.
The hotel has paid parking (200 rubles per day), but to get to it, you need to go to the reception and ask the guard to open the gate. Why it is impossible to install a camera and an electric gate drive is a mystery.
The parking lot itself is just a playground covered with rubble.
In general, a good and inexpensive hotel for those who care about location, but I do not advise you to expect miracles from it)
The hotel is well located, beautifully located in the lobby, but do not expect comfort, maybe next year they will finish new rooms on the 3rd floor and everything will be new and better there. For 1,2 ,3 nights it is possible, but not anymore. The bed is a horror standard. There is no elevator, so you can carry the suitcase to the 3rd floor yourself. The bar in the fridge is cheap. But there is no free water. There's not even a cooler. There may be noise under the windows until the morning, locals and non-locals drive up with music, walk. You can ask for a kettle, mugs, plates, and a knife. So the room may be missing. Yes, you can have breakfast nearby anywhere. The beach is 20 minutes away. You can swim nearby, but it is not equipped, but there are a lot of shells. There is no beach towel, a big minus
Of the advantages, only the location. Of the disadvantages, the information does not correspond to reality in part:
1. Payment at the hotel by bank card (for unknown reasons, the terminal stopped working, payment only in cash or transfer by phone number);
2. At the hotel 4**** There are no water coolers on the floors;
3. In the suites there is no drying board, kettle, iron, refrigerator.
4. There are such streaks on the walls in the corners that it seems there was a universal flood. Wallpapers are moving away and much more, you can list them indefinitely.
Connecting a TV and a set-top box song.
A 1* hotel and that's a lot.
We had a family vacation in July 2022 in a mini-suite room with a beautiful view of the sea, but this hotel has one big minus that negates the whole vacation. There are no safes in the rooms and imperceptibly steal a certain amount of money from your pocket right in the room when you are at sea! They were not even afraid to pull out the last bill of 5000 rubles, the day before departure, when contacting the administrator, she is the manager, a young phlegmatic girl, said that the staff was checked, they made a conclusion! Ritsa Hotel this hotel does not correspond to a certain rank of local residents, that it is the best hotel in Sukhumi! Room theft is rampant there!!!!!! There are no safes!!!
Great hotel. Very convenient location. Opposite is the famous Brekhalovka. Beautiful promenade. Great restaurants. The room is clean and cozy. The administrators are friendly.
Near the hotel there is a Botanical Garden, a theater. The nature is amazing. I recommend this hotel to visit. Moreover, this hotel is more than 100 years old. The hotel has its own history. The griffin fountain is a masterpiece.
I liked the hotel very much, it was clean, bright, cozy, and the staff was excellent. The location is excellent, you can also admire the sea on the embankment, you want to have a snack, cafes and restaurants to choose from. Thank you, I liked everything very much.
A great place: the embankment, numerous cafes with a kitchen for every taste, a Brekhalovka with excellent coffee! The staff is very attentive. I stayed in December 2021 in a room overlooking Leon Avenue. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, I can't say anything. The room is clean, there is a hairdryer and everything you need for a shower, terry bathrobes. A comfortable wide bed. There is a mini bar in the room with normal prices.
Thanks to the hotel staff for the warm welcome, I will definitely come back here!

Forget everything you knew about hotels, it doesn't work here, you haven't heard about the service and the generally accepted norms and rules here, the toilet and the trouble are in different bathrooms in the suite! You will buy toilet paper yourself, the condition of the room and the repair leave much to be desired, there is no safe, the light in the bedroom is only from the bedside table, there is a switch on the wall and there is no chandelier on the ceiling, there is not even wiring for the chandelier from 21 o'clock on opposite the central entrance, a nightclub opens and hammers the music until 3 in the morning. in this direction, the bolkon door was very hard to close because, the fittings from the pros were broken: there is an opportunity to put the car in the yard for an additional fee, the building was built in 1914, you feel yourself involved in history, the location is the very center of the embankment, the Sukhumskaya column was visible to me from the bolkon, because we are not very picky, we had a great two days in this hotel, but I will never stay here again
I chose a room on the "Improved Standard" website for 6.5 thousand rubles per day (July 2022).
Positive:
- location (near the embankment)
- there is wi-fi (movies are pulled at min.quality)
- breakfast is included in the price (300 rubles/person, if you do not have time for breakfast, you can arrange with the restaurant and eat in the evening)
Cons:
- the room smelled bad. The toilet smelled even worse.
- the furniture is old, the closet in the hallway is jammed and the sash did not close. The headboard of the bed was moving, the bed was wobbling. The mattress is the cheapest, spring-loaded, the springs dig into the back
- the walls are stained
- sockets are falling apart, it's scary to plug devices into them, no matter how short-circuited. Some of the outlets are no longer working. At the same time, there are not enough sockets in the room, and there were as many as 3 in the bathroom. (2 sockets right by the mirror-why two?)
- bedside lamps: one lamp did not work, there was no light bulb in it. I unscrewed a light bulb from another lamp - it did not work. Plugged in the other outlet - it did not work. The sockets behind the bed didn't work either.
- there is a switch for general light on the wall in the room, while there is no chandelier on the ceiling. I.e. a switch for beauty
- The Windows faced the fountain, during the day the noise from the fountain and people in the evening, instead of the hubbub of people, the croaking of frogs
- a homegrown repair was made in the bathroom, causes tears and emotion (my grandfather did repairs back in the USSR) - photo
- a girl with a very sad face was checking in at the reception. I understood her sadness when I entered the room
- they take a 100% prepayment (it's clear why, I would have checked out on the first day)
- there is no elevator, all the suitcases had to be dragged up the stairs
- the room has never been cleaned
- cheap hair dryer, burns your hair
- a great addition to the hotel's entourage from the manufacturer of shampoo and shower gel from the Krasnodar Territory: to open the bag, you need something sharp (scissors or a knife), because the manufacturer did not make any incisions on the bag to open it (photo)
- my friends from Abkhazia were very surprised when they found out that I checked into this hotel,
We sent our regular tourists to this hotel, I publish a review from their words and at their request:
The hotel is conveniently located in the very center, in a beautiful part of the embankment. Unfortunately, the advantages end there.
Disadvantages: the hotel is old, mentally and physically; old creaky beds; mattresses are wider than the bed, hanging down; springs bulge. The bathroom is old: cramped, the water is cold, it flows on the floor, the watering can barely holds on to some piece of wood
The reception is detached, it doesn't help.
The most unpleasant thing: misinformation from the tour operator Biblioglobus. The hotel is sold only with breakfast, the description only stated that breakfast takes place in a nearby restaurant, no other nuances were specified, the information was checked at the time of booking and at the time of writing the claim to Biblioglobus.
On the spot, it turned out that breakfast is included only within the amount of 300 rubles per person, while the prices are restaurant prices, 300 rubles do not even fit two pancakes and coffee! Despite the fact that the institution positions itself as a restaurant, the food is tasteless, the pancakes are frozen! There is no bread, butter, cheese, only dishes on the menu. At the same time, you cannot buy a hotel without breakfast, tourists are tied to this restaurant by the presence of breakfast, where they have to pay extra to eat!
Contacting the reception did not give any results, did not contribute to improving conditions, did not even sympathize. The tour operator Biblioglobus checked after the claim and simply corrected the description on the website - added an item about 300 rubles / person
Tourists have been vacationing in Sukhum for the fifth time, and this is their fifth hotel, and the most unsuccessful in terms of a combination of factors! We do not recommend the hotel, for the same price you can choose a more decent option, even in the very center!
The hotel is for unassuming tourists. It was important to me that this is a historical building, except famous, interesting people stayed in it. The staff is very polite, responsive, kind-hearted, like all Abkhazians. Where else at 3* you will have towels changed every day... Of course, some repairs are needed, but the location is gorgeous! The photo shows the view from the balcony. The hotel has 22 rooms, all with a beautiful view! Of course, if you only need a beach holiday, then it's a little inconvenient. But we went to Mocha beach without any problems, you can walk to the right of the hotel for 15 minutes to the pebble beach Lighthouse.Again, there is no elevator, but it didn't hurt us. In short, the rest in Ritsa was a success, thanks a lot to Abkhazia!!
The Ritsa Hotel was successfully renovated several years ago and welcomes guests who can enjoy the sea view from the cozy rooms at any time of the day or night, the most beautiful balconies overlook the Brekhalovka.
In general, not only fans and professionals of dominoes, chess and the people can enjoy the sight of male and female visitors to the Ritz hotel in bathrobes and underwear, but also artists, visitors and locals, whose favorite place to walk is this avenue... Frankness is now in fashion;)
A 4-storey building, it's bad that there is no elevator, it was not convenient with children, breakfasts are well for 3 people, although purely Abkhazian cuisine, opposite the restaurant was on the side of the square, I don't know what it's called, even ordinary boats are insanely delicious there. The rest of the dog was satisfied.
I stayed at this hotel at the beginning of August 2022.
Well, I 've seen negative reviews , but I still decided because of the location and architecture of the building .
Disappointment overtakes you as soon as you leave the hall , he is probably the only one left in a normal state .Then there is a continuous horror with a nightmare, starting from the stripped ceilings and walls in the corridors, to the creaking parquet, under the paths. It seems that the hotel is just living out its existence , it is clear that nothing has been done in it for a long time . The towels are washed , the mattress is old , there is a crown on the windows, and office blinds .I don 't want to be in the room at all , I want to run away from there .
Dressing gowns were , in summer , however , not relevant , hygiene supplies for 1 piece per day .
I'm not picky, but it's such a disappointment.
I do not recommend this hotel , from the word at all .
About the sea , it is 50 meters away , but the sea is not for swimming , it is the center of the city
To the beach of MVO (galko ) 45 minutes on foot , to Mocha it is better by transport .
About breakfast, you are given a deposit of 300 rubles , for which you can choose from the menu.
I do not recommend paying for breakfast, it is better to walk 5 minutes to Leon and have breakfast there.
There is no drinking water in the room.)))))
