Surprisingly, it is worth noting that the Embassy is getting better. A new employee at the entrance, very polite and really willing to help. An employee who accepts an application for a foreign passport - if she is not angered by shoals, then she is also quite normal)) The employee at the issuance of a foreign passport is super positive, you even forget that you are in a Russian state institution. And I also came across a young man who is still tall, deals with criminal record certificates, also always tries to help. Of the minuses, only lottery fishing for help with a poorly functioning website, and outrage out of the blue - but this is less and less frequent and from a couple of employees of everything.
I issued a certificate of non-conviction. Everything went very well, the staff are super polite and friendly. They help and prompt according to the documents and are very patient. They try to help in any situation.
The girl in the 1st window is very strict! The recording was at 9:35, came at 9:20 - left at 10:00. Everything is very fast, there were 4 people before me. The strict girl corrected all the questionnaires at once. No one was wrapped up with documents. You can't go through with backpacks and phones, they ask you to leave them in the drawers at the checkpoint WITHOUT the keys to the locks. Awful. Pay only in cash
The letters are answered, but after a few days. It is unrealistic to book a day (make an appointment). Especially if you have to leave soon.
The service could be improved. Recording is only on Mondays for the whole week ahead. On the website, some dancing with tambourines was arranged for recording. The virtual queue is just wild!
If you don't have time, just sit and wait for next Monday.
At the same time, the notary prepared all the documents for me. I need 2 minutes of time at the Consulate. You have to wait for your turn for months.
But the consul can get into the situation and personally help by bypassing the electronic queue. This is a plus.
But something needs to be done with the organization of the whole process...
I read the reviews and I'm shocked!!!
Everything went very quickly for me. They helped with the documents, explained everything clearly and clearly what is required of me.
Friendly, polite staff!
Thank you!!
My husband did the passport and everything went like clockwork, I came a month later with a statement drawn up one-on-one with his. So what? The employee drew All the sheets saying that EVERYTHING was wrong, redo it and come back later
There are many questions.... but if you are familiar with how everything happens in such offices at home, it is easier not to argue and just bow and obey
It is impossible to make an appointment, they do not pick up the phone, they lie that the record opens every Monday for an appointment with a notary, they lie that the phone is working (it is turned off or ignored). They are rude by mail, refusing to record manually, talking with a claim.
Great place, friendly staff, everything is unexpectedly great.
And now on the list:
1. You don't have to come in advance like me, huh, 10 minutes in advance and it will be fine because there is no live queue and everyone goes on the list, who signed up for what time;
2. Very sociable and understanding staff;
I was worried to go because the Embassy of the Russian Federation, everything is fine, but in vain, this is one of the best services that I have met throughout my life in the Russian Federation, and here it is, and outside the Russian Federation. In general, the place is beautiful.
I will add that I signed up in advance via the website on Monday, super convenient!
Indeed, it seems that someone was unlucky. Yes, the queue is not "electronic", normal, live. But it is managed well. I got everything I needed quickly and conveniently enough. Thanks to the staff for that.
I don't know anything about the embassy, but the consulate is very loyal, they always try to meet the citizens halfway. I was pleasantly surprised that such responsive employees work. It is clear that with such a flow of people and queues, there are conflict situations.

Sergey Viktorovich, thank you very much!
Very polite, very fast, very nice!
There was a mistake in the documents, thank you for helping to fix and do everything right!
Rudeness, sarcasm, disregard.... I, most likely, was in another consulate. (I don't know about the embassy, the review is only about the work of the consulate, the registration of a foreign passport).
I signed up through the form on the website in August, the application was in the queue for some time, after which a date and time was set (October 31). I came 40 minutes earlier, asked the guard to wait or what? They let me through right away, I got in line at 1 window, there are 4 people in front of me. Everything, including the queue, document verification, passport photocopy, payment at the terminal took 15 minutes. Fast, polite, friendly.
While waiting for the payment receipt, the next visitor had small errors in the questionnaire corrected during the verification process (audibility is good) without any "oh, correct and sign up again."
p.s. I didn't call by phone, but before the visit I wrote to the mail with a question on the questionnaire - they answered briefly, but quickly, indicating 2 small errors. It is quite possible that when dealing with urgent issues, the impression would have been different, but in a calm mode everything went well.
Not ale. I tried to call you this afternoon... question about departure from the airport, the airport did not re-open the baggage check-in with a delay of 5 hours
After reading so many negative reviews, I became wary. But apparently I was very lucky, both visits to the consulate were quite simple, for a foreign passport and for notarization of a power of attorney.
Politely and correctly explained all the unclear points. The only drawback is queues, the consulate is clearly not designed for such a flow of people.
In November, I submitted an application, I expected that on December 1, as expected, recording slots would appear.
1.12 I got through to the consulate about getting a foreign passport for 5 years: "There is no record and it is not expected. In January, after the holidays, it will be February."
- When will the slots open?
- Monitor the news on the website.
Very convenient. If you do not open the record, then you do not need to work) The guard at the entrance will not let anyone in without a record, and there is no record, hoba :)
I applied for a foreign passport, everything is fast, the staff is polite, there is a questionnaire nearby.the Russian Federation, where they helped to fill out the application correctly 👍
As they say, it is difficult, but it is possible.
I registered my marriage at the consulate, and also issued a new passport. From experience, I can say that:
1) It is useless to come to the embassy without an appointment. Take your time and nerves.
2) Carefully study the information on their website. Everything is described in detail there. The links turned out to be useful for me:
- News of the consular department, here, in particular, they write when (date and time) an electronic entry to the consulate is opened https://armenia.mid.ru/ru/consular-services/consulate/obyavleniya/
- Here are the links where you can sign up for the provision of the necessary service https://armenia.mid.ru/ru/consular-services/consulate/reception-at-reception/
3) It's almost impossible to get through. I have never succeeded. But! For questions of interest, you can write to e-mail, the secretaries respond quite quickly (+- within a day).
4) When initially applying for a foreign passport, I had to correct the application and rewrite it to another number. The mistakes that the consulate employee found in my application were not at all obvious to me. Therefore, I recommend that after filling out the application and before visiting the consulate, send the application for verification by e-mail to the consulate. It helped me a lot to re-submit documents.
We applied for a foreign passport with a friend today. I had to stand at the checkpoint for 20 minutes, as they call by name. But when we entered, we did everything very quickly. Thank you for your prompt response
I was faced with a disgusting boorish attitude when applying for a ten-year-old passport in the first window of the consular department. The employee openly expressed dissatisfaction with the visitors, groaned loudly through the phrase, said "Oh, my God", "What is it" and was openly sarcastic. She showed similar behavior not only towards me, but towards every visitor. It always seemed to me that the embassy is the face of a country abroad. It is a pity that it is like this in Armenia...
Thank you for honoring the memory of a great Man. And you won't be arrested or imprisoned for it...
"All that is needed for the triumph of evil is the inaction of good people. Therefore, it is not necessary to do nothing"
Good afternoon,
23.01.23 at the border with Armenia, in the passport control area, at Yerevan airport. There was an insult to a citizen of the Russian Federation on the basis of a national conflict.
Arrival on flight SU 1964. For an unknown reason, 4 people were detained from the flight: including me.
The staff did not explain the reasons, and did not comment on questions from our side.
We did scans of passports, took photos on personal smartphones, which I think is not very legal at all without permission from my side. In parallel, to any questions about the reasons, I received rather rude answers and in raised tones that, in their opinion, I was contradicting them and raising my voice, although this was not even close. Among the 4 employees who did not even introduce themselves, one had a chest number 12-34-7, there was also a woman who spoke Russian well and with bleached (bleached) hair. On her part, a conflict on the basis of nationality was just opened. My last name ends with ..co. From which this employee concluded that I am Ukrainian, although I have never lived there and have been a citizen of the Russian Federation all my life. I do not know what I did not please this employee, but on her part, my next question about the reason for the delay was followed by: "they will drive you Ukrainians out of Russia!". I would like to note that I have never lived in Ukraine in my life, was born in the USSR and have been living in Moscow for 33 years. I consider such statements to be anti-Russian, insulting not only a citizen of the Russian Federation, but also the country in the light of current events.
The response to the request to the consulate was: we recommend contacting the Prosecutor of the Republic of Armenia.
I don't understand why I can offend a law-abiding citizen of the Russian Federation and it remains completely unpunished.
I apologize to myself. Such statements should not be made by employees of the Armenian Border Guard Service.
Why aren't they responding? As always, you have to take a queue in Armenia to get a consultation!! We don't have enough workers where we need to be, because instead of hiring many workers, they load three of them and infuriate us!
The service and convenience leave much to be desired.
First, you need to spend half your life to sign up.
Secondly, the frankly boorish attitude on the part of the staff. They snap at simple questions and say that it does not concern them. In general, an unpleasant place…
The reason for the existence of this institution is to receive a salary from a bunch of freeloaders inside. A waste of taxpayers'/state budget money. They never do anything. You can close it, it won't get worse for anyone. I note that they respond by e-mail, but there is no use.
I'm so ashamed of my country. Russia! The embassy, which is intended for its citizens abroad, simply brazenly and does not care about the citizens of the Russian Federation. No phone number is answering. They reply by mail "The order of registration is indicated on the website", they come and require another set of documents....Where is our valiant Foreign Ministry looking, if the Ambassador does not see the reviews? Sorry. A complete disappointment.
Advice to anyone who cannot make an appointment at the consulate. Write all your questions to the consulate's email address. They respond to the letter in about a day. I also couldn't sign up for a long time until they told me when to wait for an appointment on the site. In my experience, there are friendly staff here who will definitely help you. Thanks!
I've been calling all the numbers all day, of which there are dozens, and NO one has EVER picked up the phone. Why do you need so many phones and what is the attitude towards your citizens? Just in case, I think I'll dial the "Emergency phone for citizens of the Russian Federation who are in an emergency and in danger of life", which works around the clock seven days a week, judging by the information on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in Armenia... Silence! Zero reaction! And then what is the job of the consulate, if it is impossible to sign up, get through, get through?
Unfortunately, it is impossible to make an appointment to apply for a foreign passport. For a month, the two of them checked windows from different computers and from 2 phones every day.
From midnight on November 30, Armenian time, the schedule was constantly updated for several hours in a row. Uselessly. The possible dates for recording did not even flash by.
Then, on December 1, until 12 p.m. Moscow time, every 5-10 minutes and more often, the calendar page on the site was updated. Also to no avail.
It seems that the very possibility of signing up was turned off.
Because in the first hours after midnight, they were tracked minute by minute and up to 12 p.m.
It cannot be so in reality that when you change the calendar, there are immediately no places even for a second.
And the situation with the consulate in Gyumri is exactly the same.
All the tabs for the electronic recording were also kept open.
They don't answer the phone, they just can't get through. You can't sign up at the consulate itself, they can't orient you on any issues. They answered "I don't know" 3 times and told me to clarify by phone. And the fact that they don't answer the phone, they can't help in any way, call and that's it. Instead of employees, you can put a vending machine with coupons, it will be more useful.
I had a very successful experience) Yes, indeed, it is extremely difficult to sign up for the acceptance of docks abroad, but this is quite understandable by the sharply increased number of people who came to the country. We need to work with this, and do some kind of visa centers to relieve the burden on embassy staff. I somehow managed to sign up, and everything was very clear and fast at the consulate itself - it took no more than 30 minutes from coming to the entrance to the exit. A stern guard (but he should be by position :)) clarified the name and time of recording, I waited for 5 minutes and passed. At the entrance, the guy checked the record and sent it to the filing window. I was the third in line - they waited for 15 minutes. The girl in the window is very friendly and smiling, explained everything to me, answered all questions, took a picture and gave me a receipt. I paid there in the terminal (although he does not give out change, but puts it on the phone), another beautiful girl helped :) Now it remains only to wait for readiness. So far, somehow, let's see how it goes further)
I applied for a 5-year-old passport.
I came on the appointed day, but I was told that today they only accept 10 years
How so????!
I had to redo the questionnaire for money
The most impolite attitude of the staff in the window. To put it mildly!
I can't reach the consulate.
Insanity.
The calls are not being answered. I've been trying to get through for 2 weeks now. It is not possible to make an appointment at all through the website. All windows are unavailable. I've been updating it for a few days, but it's useless.
However, it's not surprising. Even on the territory of the Russian Federation, everything related to public services does not work like a human being.
