How to get from luxury to hell.
Until recently, I loved the UAE very much, I have repeatedly visited Dubai and other Emirates. Impressions have always been on the verge of delight: cleanliness, safety, beauty everywhere. This time we got caught in the rain, which was 04/16.24. I understand everything that this is an anamalia for them, the city was flooded, the airport too. Arriving at the airport on 17.04, we saw crowds of people who were sitting and lying on the floor, it was also impossible to approach the cafes, it was better to keep silent about the state of the toilets. All the scoreboards have been extinguished, people are walking back and forth in panic and hoping to get at least some information. The airport staff all disappeared somewhere. From time to time, some airport managers appeared, but they just walked around the hall, stepping over people lying on the floor. No information, I'm not talking about help at all. We arrived at the airport at 11 a.m., closer to 5 p.m. the airport was closed altogether. A raging crowd began to gather on the street. The transfer brings and stupidly leaves people at the entrance, they are not allowed to enter, and it is not clear what to do next. Here I would also like to send greetings to almost all travel agencies, whose main motto was simply to get away from their tourists as quickly as possible and away. I'm glad that at least there was free WiFi. But the situation with charging points was deplorable...half of them are not working, there are queues where there are working outlets (I stood in line for more than an hour). And a few words about the sockets themselves - these are just loose tees from where lightning is constantly flying. We also tried to find hotels (there were a maximum of 2 and they were crowded) or lounges, there is a game here, they are there, but only in the duty free zone. Tell me where the logic is, if a person has checked in for a plane, he has to wait 2-3 hours, why does he need this lounge. Or at least it was possible to make several of them in different zones. The airport staff does not care about people in the truest sense of the word. For a second, most of the people are tourists who brought money to your country. Really, it was impossible to simply release representatives into the hall so that they would give at least some information to people. It was perfectly clear that there were not enough places to charge, is there really no extension cords in such a country? Or bring and distribute drinking water to people, I'm not talking about food at all. You could find chairs somewhere or arrange a transfer to hotels just like that (or at least for money). I would probably have accepted such behavior more calmly from many other countries in the world, but not from Dubai. Rather than build hotels with golden toilets, it would be better to buy pumps and try to arrange the consequences of the rain as soon as possible. Such a "cool city and super airport" turned out to be a dummy. In many countries of the world, it rains, snows and snowstorms, and airports are working at the same time. And here is such a modern Dubai and some kind of unfortunate rain has brought everyone into a stupor. It seemed to me that it was good for many people not to move much and it was very convenient to cover themselves with a force majeure situation. Alas, that such a country was so blown away by the rain. I would like to wish both the UAE and their famous airport less show-offs and more good deeds.
I didn't like the airport, at least Terminal 2, from which fky Dubai flies. Very small, a huge number of people, to sit where else you need to look, of course there are no ladders for you. Here's a good duty free store, it doesn't seem very big, but there are a lot of things and the prices are not sky-high.
A huge airport, with clear navigation. It is not possible to get lost, there are airport staff on every corner who will be happy to help with everything.
The airport is very modern and clean. There are many recreation areas, and cozy ones at that. But since it is international, there are a lot of people, check-in and inspection takes a very long time, we spent two hours, so it's better to arrive in advance, the waiting area is very large, a lot of shops and cafes it's better to wander there than to miss the flight
I was in Terminal 1, there are many shops, cafes, a good business lounge. Passport control was carried out instantly - your retina was counted through the camera, compared with the passport in the scanner - and that's it, no employees, no seals.
A large, beautiful and cozy airport. Wonderful architecture. Intuitive scoreboards. There are many shops and cafes. A place that you want to come back to again and again.
The first and third terminals conquer with luxury and monumentalism. Huge waiting rooms, lots of places to relax, chic cafes and shops. And terminal number two, which accepts the countries of the Middle East region and Indonesia. Our flights also arrive there. There are not enough places to rest (just sitting) at all, one crowded eatery and a small dutik. A very small waiting room. There is no public transport at the exit, only a taxi. Do not rush out, there is an opportunity to leave on an internal shuttle to terminal three. There's a subway and public transport.
The organization of the airport is excellent. Everything is clear, fast, without unnecessary movements. Five minutes and customs is passed. There is a bit of a queue and everyone is distributed to the departure terminals. Everything is clear even without knowledge of the language. The duty free shops are loaded with people because the prices are adequate, plus a discount on the amount of VAT when providing a ticket. A very large airport. And everything is very organized.
A huge airport. But, everything is organized very conveniently. All procedures upon arrival are organized as efficiently as possible. The customs gave a local SIM card with a free gigabyte of Internet. Is free.
Excellent spacious modern airport. Everything is wonderfully organized, quick passage of passport control and customs. On the last arrival, they even handed over a SIM card of a local telecom operator with 1 GB of mobile Internet for free! Very clean, lots of places where you can wait for your flight. In the absence of a card issued in foreign currency, Russian citizens will have to change cash at an exchange office, because everything is paid in Duty free in dinars. The exchange rate at the airport, alas, is not the best. But I don't see much point in shopping, because everything is much cheaper to be found in numerous shopping malls in Dubai.
A huge airport, slightly unusual navigation. There is no security check at the entrance, and there is not much baggage collection on Russian flights, but there is enough. Huge duty free. Upon arrival, there is a special taxi area where you can take a taxi of any level.
Well, this is a bomb, one of the best apps in the world, everything is intuitively clear, everything is duplicated in English, several terminals, a train is rolling. The only thing is probably a large number of people, especially Pakistanis and Hindus, there are a lot of them there. In general, if you choose an AP for a transplant, this is the ideal place

A well-planned and thoughtful airport. The gate handles converge into the terminal. You should always follow the direction of the baggage claim signs. There are 2 toilets down the aisle after Rukov (there is almost never a queue at the far end). A free shuttle (on wheels) runs from the distant concourses to the terminals. After taking a ride on the shuttle, go to passport control, the numbers of the racks to which you need to go are indicated on digital monitors. They came, gave a passport, took pictures (no children needed), received a passport with a free physical SIM card with a volume of prepaid traffic in gigabytes, went right in the direction of baggage claim.
You receive your luggage by flight number on a digital bedside table, and you are all visiting residents of the Persian Gulf...
I am very skeptical about this place, because there are a lot of incomprehensible things there: constant queues and the likelihood of encountering Turks who can strip you naked. Moscow or Novosibirsk airports are much better, and Dubai certainly does not meet expectations.
A chic modern airport. Cleanliness, manufacturability, comfortable chairs, travelators. There is a lot of bandwidth, but there are no crowds and queues everywhere. Everything works quickly and clearly
I put 4 for the fact that there are not enough seats to wait for registration and they are not suitable for a long wait. More comfortable seats are located directly near the exits to the aircraft and there are few of them.
And the toilets are good, they are cleaned often.
Not very large, parts are connected by LRT, good shops in the duty-free zone, VAT refund (cash) at passport control, take dirhams to spend immediately (the dollar exchange rate is 3.87, you lose a lot if you take the currency). A chic buffet in the Skytim lounge (I flew with Aeroflot).
There were more expectations after seeing the city! Perhaps Terminal 3 is more interesting, but 1 does not look very big and spectacular. I attached the prices at McDonald's. But the big plus is that there is a subway!
The airport is really very cool, everything is very expensive and beautiful inside, and there are palm trees all around. It's really very busy. The best airport I've been to
The airport is great! Stretched along the runway, I had to take an internal train to passport control, but it's not at all difficult. The passage through passport control is easy and I liked it. In addition, they put a 10 GB gift SIM card in the passport. Super!
It's disgusting! For the first time in many flights around the world, a small child and I were seated in different places, and in different ends. It's just not mental! Disgusting! Terrible people work at the check-in desk. No help at all! Screams! They don't listen! At the airport restaurant, they took money for three Coca-Colas, and brought 2. But the excellent flight attendants of flight FZ 967 found seats for us with the child. The rating is excellent exclusively for these wonderful people and great professionals.
It's a very cool airport. There is a subway running between the terminals. Electronic customs, they let you pass by the face, you don't need to show or apply anything. Duty free is expensive, everything is much cheaper in Moscow. A good business hall
It 's just a very huge , clean and technologically advanced airport .A large number of check-in counters, information desks, luggage packing and other services.
Gentlemen, definitely come in advance when you fly out - you can EASILY get lost.
The number of shops and cafes available (a lot).
To say that it is big is nothing to say, it is Huge. .. It
is informative and clear, there is no crowd, the service is fast and clear, as is the baggage claim. Control, as they say, is very strict, not quite so, everyone is quite loyal - a bottle of water with you is not a question, a small excess of luggage is also not so scary. Of course, it is beautiful and chic, a separate fat + for the sanitary rooms... There is something to learn - the rigor and clarity of work is not the importance and position as at the Minsk airport...
Of course, it doesn't compare to the airport in Kaspiysk, but on the whole it's not bad, of course. I didn't like that they don't serve camel milk for free.
A clean and pleasant airport. An unusual transport inside the airport is a monorail for moving between terminals and zones. There are sockets and connectors for charging. Clean toilets.
Of the cons. Luggage is loaded slowly, and upon arrival, due to the peculiarities of the entrance and parking at the airport, you can wait a long time for your group transfer.
Without a doubt, one of the most progressive airports with a huge area and thoughtful movements between them. The metro inside the airport is an interesting solution) There is a system for quickly passing through passport control through an automated system (sometimes you need to attach your passport several times to pass).
A huge airport, the navigation is clear. There is a queue at the business hall. It took a long time from the business hall to our exit, probably 10-15 minutes. It was evening, there weren't many people at the airport.
You pass the controls quickly. There is a duty-free shop. There are enough places. The condee cools down. It is better to take a jacket to the waiting room. There are enough toilets. You can starve a worm in local public catering
If the flight is connecting and there is time, you can walk around a lot) When there were no problems with flights, we tried to take tickets with a connection at this airport for long-distance destinations, N. P. Yu-To ASIA. It is always clean, despite the huge crowd of people, and the first pleasant chips appeared here n.p. racks for charging gadgets, etc. + a huge duty free with the same huge selection. I will also note the disadvantages: if there is little time between flights, there is a chance to be late + a smoking room, it's just tin - hoods can't cope with smoke, people smoke next to the room. If you walk next to it, it's like you've been in a smoky room for a long time. I don't know now, maybe something has changed.
a large airport
does not give announcements over the loudspeaker
, multiply prices by x10 for the same stuff as in the shops on the street
branded clothing +- at the same prices as in Dubai mall
A huge airport, where several planes take off every minute. It impresses with its scale during arrival and allows you to quickly wait for the plane back, as there are a lot of shops and establishments where you can spend time
A good airport. All information is available in English. The staff is friendly, always ready to explain what is where. The currency exchange office is right at the entrance, also a pleasant impression of communication, a normal exchange rate. It is particularly worth noting that at the reception desk of the flight to Moscow of Aeroflot, a representative with excellent knowledge of the Russian language was present and explained in detail to the people ahead how to solve problems with luggage. He also answered my questions about where to go next. Very polite communication. Customs control also passed quickly, the waiting room is comfortable.
Dubai Airport, but there are five stars without words. A huge international airport with all the amenities for people. Huge Duty Free, coffee, restrooms, excolators, monorail without driver, fast customs control. I wish all of us to register here every year.
They strained the snake-shaped queues. Those who (the staff) were looking after the queue did not direct our family and child in the direction of a live border guard. As a result, when our turn came to the smart device, I turned to it and asked us to send it to a person. But he directed us to the end of another queue. It's really annoying.
A very large modern airport terminal. Nicely. Comfortable. Clear. There are a lot of staff.
A big dutifrey.
The food court is expensive.
Toilets. Changing rooms.
Game rooms.
boarding starts in an hour, as you still have to take the bus to the plane. We went to McDonald's, did not have time to eat🥲😂 It's good that we were allowed to go there with food, we ate everything on the move before the plane🤣😂😂🤣😂😂
Dubai International Airport is the largest civilian airport in the United Arab Emirates. I had a chance to visit it. Very beautiful, comfortable, original 👍
The airport is incredibly large.
Comfortable
A large number of necessary stores.
There are places for chargers everywhere, the toilets are clean.
The airport is good, responsive staff, navigation is clear.
There is a monstrous security twist in the second terminal in the international zone. I saw a couple of guys from Pakistan "under something". One of them insists on asking about his family. Later, some Indian with a malicious smile insistently offered to "smoke." As a result, he called an airport employee to make him feel bored. The employee helped him buy some water. He threw out the water a second later
The airport is quite large. Upon arrival, I took the service of the Marhaba. There is one on the airport's website. They will meet you, take you by car to a separate room, pass all the control for you, give you luggage, smile goodbye. On the way back, I spent a lot of time on duty-free. There were instances that I had never seen before. In general, I was satisfied with the services and content
The airport is on the 3rd line, the service and everything else here is slightly below average
Location, if you are interested in the city center, then it takes at least an hour to get there, with transfers from the bus to the subway. This airport is convenient only if you like Dubai Marina. For short trips with a tour of the city for several days, I would not recommend it, spend half a day on the way back and forth
Navigation and moving around the airport is very convenient and I still don't think that you can get to each terminal directly from the subway. And hotels and restaurants are also within walking distance
A grandiose structure. There are many levels. We even got lost when we arrived and followed the passengers from our plane to the exit. Instead of leaving, they freely entered the departure waiting area. When they flew back, they carefully looked at the signs and found their departure zone in advance. The passengers are all different-speaking, they don't speak much English, and even more so in Russian. The staff speaks a little English, but doesn't really know anything.
It's beautiful, you can! Everything looks very expensive and luxurious. Clear! There are a lot of people, of course. Amazing architecture!!!!!!! Just a great airport and very clean toilets , there are never any foreign smells
