Everything is great👍👍👍👍
Mr jitendra
The food is good. Diverse.
Thanks to Dew Kumari for the excellent service
Cleaning is also on top. Clean and tidy
Thanks Binaya and Hari
A great hotel for your money. Caring and attentive staff. Delicious breakfasts. Very convenient location, renovated rooms with a huge TV! The metro is a 3-minute walk away.
The hotel is excellent, the food is delicious, the pool is clean, the rooms are good, cleaning every day, pototenua, bed linen, clean, water is reported in the room every day, tea and coffee, there is a kettle with cups, consumables, shampoos, gels, toothbrushes, creams and razors are brought in the bathroom every day, there are a lot of shops nearby, cafes, pharmacies and the metro, as well as a mall within walking distance, a shuttle takes you to the sea and picks you up 👍
Nice, clean, bright rooms. There is a free bus service to the beach every day. The staff is nice, polite, and there is a Russian speaker. I took off the star for the food, it's not very tasty and monotonous
The four hotel. Spacious rooms, balconies are not everywhere. Mashrek metro station 150 meters away is a great advantage to walk in the heat. They were at the end of May 2024. The food is good, not spicy. Watermelons, melons chopped every day for lunch and dinner. Fish, chicken, meat, broccoli, cauliflower, various European sweets- every day. Lasagna, seafood soup, rolls. Breakfast until 11.00, lunch from 13.00 to 15.30, dinner from 19.00 to 22.30. good intervals, you can always catch a walk or before. You must wear sneakers to the gym. The rooftop pool (like everyone else's) is open from the very morning until 20 o'clock, a heated Jacuzzi even in the heat. Towels are provided by the pool. The sauna is free, you need to turn it on when going to the pool, come back later. Transfer three times a day to JBR beach (Marina). I took the adapters with me to charge my phones. The renovation of the 4th floor began with us.
The hotel is old, a clean three, but you can live. The rooms are wet, but this is a problem for almost all hotels of this level. The food is not bad, but not very diverse. The pool is without a beautiful view, small. A huge plus is that the metro is two steps away and 10 minutes from the hotel there is a shopping center with everything you need. It is also a plus that there is a bus stop nearby, from which you can easily get to the beach, where it is clean, there are few people!
We lived in December 2024, and they put us in a gloomy and very cold two-room room. Because we were with three children and didn't want to get sick, we won a better and warmer room. Then it turned out that the tour operator had just booked an improved room for us, but the administrator only checked in the most expensive rooms first.
The food is delicious and varied, the pool is warm and very good, there is also a hookah on the roof in the evening and at night. The location is convenient for those who travel by metro. There is a free bus service to JBR beach, and you can drive for an hour during rush hour!!! You can take a taxi faster to Kite Beach or Jumeirah, near Burj al Arab, where the promenade will be cooler and more interesting.
I would give the hotel only 2 stars.
We had a rest in early April, at this hotel. I'll start with the pros right away:
1. Excellent location(metro, taxi, shops, souvenir shops, great beach just 5km away)
2. The room is very nice, spacious enough.
3. Wi-fi catches everywhere.
Now the cons:
1. The terrible attitude of the staff (upon arrival, they took their passports for registration, gave them a password from wi-fi and told them to wait a couple of hours or go for a walk, you can't use the hotel infrastructure!)
2. The rooftop pool is very small, there are not enough sun beds for everyone.
3. The bus takes you to the terrible beach, 12 km away from the hotel! It is better to take a taxi (about 30-40 dirhams) to Kyle Beach just 5km away.
4. The food is delicious, but there is little of it and no variety, if you come after 20:00, then there is almost nothing.
5. Wi-fi is turned off after 01:00.
If you want to see the sights of Dubai, then this hotel is suitable to spend the night in it, but no more.
Excellent hotel: convenient location - very close to the metro, very interested staff - try to make you as comfortable as possible, wonderful cuisine - varied, delicious.
There are nuances that you need to be prepared for in the household part. But the disadvantages definitely pale in front of all the advantages. We recommend it. We were very happy there.
Excellent hotel, very good location, 5 minutes walk to the metro, the room is spacious, albeit tired, but much higher than expected. A large flat-screen TV, to which I easily connected my phone and watched cartoons, free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, shops and pharmacies nearby. There is also a Turkish cafe nearby, inexpensive for Dubai and with large portions. And the food, of course, is monotonous, but we were not hungry. The staff is friendly and friendly. An adapter for the outlet is provided at the reception upon request. An iron is also provided upon request. Cleaning is done every day. The rooftop pool is heated, small, open from 8:00 to 20:00. The gym for the hotel is also good, but it also works only from 8:00 to 20:00. Since the ticket was very inexpensive for us, I am ready to recommend this hotel, the price-quality ratio is great!
Very convenient location of the hotel, right next to the metro. The staff is polite, smiling, sociable, but does not impose their communication, there are Russian speakers. Right at the hotel you can buy sightseeing tours at a very favorable price, do not be afraid of ignorance of English, this is not a problem) you can also buy souvenirs at the hotel profitably.
The kitchen is for ordinary people - lobsters and lobsters are not fed here! Everything is very tasty, a good assortment of dishes, you will not stay hungry)
Upstairs there is a gym and a cool pool - the very thing in the heat.
Vacationers in our company were mostly Russian-speaking: Kazakhs, Uzbeks, Kyrgyz, many from Russia, there are guests from Iran, Bangladesh, Egypt, no one bothers anyone.
A bus takes you from the hotel to the free beach, Marina Beach is popular (for my taste it is too crowded there and the water from the boats is muddy, it is better to go to other beaches at your own expense), shopping in outlets.
We didn't stay at this hotel, but we lived nearby in the neighboring one, the area is not bad, there are shops nearby and the metro is not far away. The country itself leaves a double impression, more for the better, but due to the fact that we were in August, it was another adventure, the heat is under 50, and the sea, or rather the Persian Gulf, 40, sand is 60-70 it is not possible to walk without shoes, then we swam only in the pool, there is at least water 32-34 , that 's how they were saved . We thought the UAE was no longer a foot away, but a year has passed and I want to go again, I recommend it to everyone who has not been
Great hotel!
We booked one bedroom suite + extra bed. A standard room with a child is accommodated only without an additional fee.places.
We got room 418 on the 4th floor.
My daughter was given a cot bed with a 15 cm mattress.
The room has a bedroom, a living room, kitchen furniture without dishes (only cups, glasses and a kettle), 2 bathrooms, a bathroom and a shower room, a balcony.
Everything is old, but in good condition.
Meals are 3 times a day. There are a lot of people at breakfast, less at lunch and dinner. There is enough food.
The rooftop pool bar is closed.
You can ask for bathrobes at the reception, towels are provided by the pool.
The employees are watching closely. On the first day, they offered hotel towels themselves (we had our own), sent me to the shower (although I washed in the room and went to the pool).
There is a gym, saunas, a children's room.
Everything is included in the price except the spa.
Hotel buses take you to the beach and to the outlet.
An unpleasant surprise was the closed subway due to heavy rains in April. In May 2024, four Dubai metro stations - OnPassive, Equiti, Mashreq and Energy Metro - are still closed due to rain damage.
Because of this, it is impossible to get into a carriage at a nearby station during rush hour, trains are packed to the brim. Even at 17.00 it's already packed. At 21.30 we returned more freely, but there were also a lot of people.
We walked to the Mall of Emirates station from the hotel, walked through and took the subway. We went back to the bus station - white buses take us to the Mashreq station at the hotel for free.
A good hotel, the location would be great if the metro worked. The rooms are renovated but the view is still nothing. There is a large swimming pool on the roof, a Jacuzzi, a sauna and a gym. The breakfasts are ordinary like everyone else's. There is a transfer from the hotel to the JBR beach at 11.30 and back at 15. Maybe this is normal for someone, but we did not use it, we went on a kite. At 16.30 transfer to Dubai outlet Mall.
A good mid-level city hotel. There are Russian-speaking staff at the reception, all the staff understands English, delicious full breakfasts, the metro is a three-minute walk away, opposite the hotel there is a shop with affordable prices for water and small things. There is a shuttle to JBR beach, but it's better to go to Kait beach by yourself, the sand is much nicer there and the sea is cleaner. There are free showers, drinking water, toilets and changing rooms. There are 81 buses from the hotel, you need to go back with a transfer, to the Mall of the Emirates and one stop by metro, but it's not stressful, there are air-conditioned passages everywhere. The children in the hotel will be a little boring, the pool is small, the children's room is also very modest. I definitely recommend the hotel.
Nice hotel! The location is good, the metro is nearby, there are many cafes and shops. The hotel itself has a souvenir shop at reasonable prices. Transfer to the beach by appointment, but we were lucky and without an appointment there was not a full bus at 15:05 left by 19:00 back. We were at the Marina beach, it's free. Polite staff, excellent food, room cleaning every day! There is a small pool on the roof.
We were at the hotel in early March. In general: the hotel is excellent 👌🏻
Really! Yes, the room is dark and a little damp, but…
We were checked in at 9!!!!!!!! O'clock in the morning. We arrived at 8.30☝🏻 The room is huge and spacious.
They immediately brought and made a spare folding bed, water, slippers, bathrobes, toothbrushes… Everyone is incredibly kind. I asked for an adapter-the employee showed me how to do without it. 😂You need to put a wooden tea stirrer in the upper hole (we use it). The kettle was broken -after 5 minutes they brought another one with a bottle of water, which they poured there themselves. Scissors were needed-they are running with scissors again.
We chose lunch that day instead of dinner. We went to lunch at 13.00, we weren 't even on their lists 🙈They wrote it down on a piece of paper separately. The food is great. Everything is very tasty and quite diverse. The pool is warm on the roof. Really warm 😍 sauna is included in the price. There is a gym. We went to the beach. It's a fairy tale. The water is really warm, the sand is soft.
Ahh! I forgot something important! Hotel exit ( the truth is the back )) it goes straight to the metro station. There is a huge shopping mall and many discount shops within walking distance. We bought cool Adidas crosses there with an incredible discount for the child. Almost free of charge 🤪🤣
The location is close to the metro, the food is good, the service is excellent, the rooms are cleaned every day, the pool is warm, I recommend this hotel
I would like to recommend this hotel to everyone. Excellent service, the presence of Russian-speaking staff is an undoubted plus. We provided a large room ( three euros ) . What overshadowed the arrival: first of all, it was the presence of unqualified staff in terms of excursions. If you have extra time and money (despite the price is cheaper than the Anex guide), then you can take a chance. We ordered excursions from Tatiana. In general, we were satisfied. A company like Atan. The only excursion that they dared to book from a representative at the hotel is a safari. The deception began with the promise of a Russian-speaking guide who did not know a word of Russian (the situation was saved by the girls who knew the language) and ending with the reduction of the promised program of events. In general, it's up to you. Well, be careful with the orders in the pool area. Designing tea
In general, I liked it. Great location! The rooms are spacious and have a large bathroom. The food is excellent and varied. There are many restaurants nearby for every taste and budget, a pharmacy and a supermarket across the street in 1 minute. Walking. Transfer to the sea. Excellent gym, sauna and swimming pool.
I recommend it!
Nice city hotel. Since the hotel is not new, the furniture in the room is old, but everything is in working order, the beds are comfortable, the linen is clean, the room also has a safe, refrigerator, kettle, TV with 3 Russian-speaking channels. In the bathroom, all plumbing is in working condition, no complaints. Hygiene products (shampoo, shower gel, body cream, toothbrushes.....) replenished daily. Towels were changed if they were left on the floor. The room was cleaned daily. The hotel has 2 swimming pools on the roof, one for children, one for adults with a maximum depth of 2 meters and a Jacuzzi, there are sun loungers and umbrellas. The hotel has excellent Wi-Fi takes everywhere. There is a Russian-speaking staff at the reception, always ready to help. We took breakfast/dinner meals. The range of dishes is certainly not very large, but we never stayed hungry. For breakfast there was always: scrambled eggs, porridge, cheese, sausage, boiled eggs, pastries, vegetables, fruits, tea, coffee, juices, etc. For dinner: chicken, fish, beef, side dishes (rice, potatoes), pasta, vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers ...) and some sweets. Of the drinks for dinner, only water. There is a scheduled bus service to Dubai Marina Beach from the hotel. It is necessary to book a bus to the beach in advance of the day, in the evening after 18:00 at the reception. The biggest and fat plus is the location of the hotel. The hotel is within walking distance from Nashrek metro station and bus stop. This is a great advantage if you want to see Dubai on your own.
I was here on 25.06.23-6.07.23. Very responsive staff, the first thing I want to note. All are polite, tactful, offer help even in non-standard situations and questions. Everyone is English-speaking, but there are Russian-speakers too, but not every day. Attentive security. The rooms are large and spacious, repairs are required, but not critical. At least in my room everything was in working order. They are cleaned every day. Good location - 2-3 minutes from the metro. 15-20 minutes and you're in the center. 10-15 minutes walk to Mall of Emirates. To one of the nearest beaches (Kite beach) 15 minutes by taxi. Of course, you can also take the metro to 2 stations and then take a taxi, but the price is the same. I didn't use buses, but they say there are free ones to the beach several times a day, but you need to sign up in advance.
Breakfasts /dinners are normal, no one will definitely stay hungry, except that by the end of breakfast/ dinner there is almost nothing left, only water is offered for dinner from drinks. In the morning tea/coffee/water.
There is a swimming pool and a gym on the 6th floor. In the forty-degree heat, it was very convenient, especially if you don't want to go far somewhere. Towels are given out, there are sun beds, free ones too :)
In general, it is very good in terms of price = quality, suitable for those who came for work or active tourists who do not plan to spend the whole vacation in a hotel room.
Very convenient location, the metro is very close, there are many good shops and cafes around the hotel with adequate prices. There is a comfortable transfer to the JBR beach and the outlet mall. The heated rooftop pool and Jacuzzi are cool. In general, the hotel is cool if the goal is to walk around the city a lot)
I visited this hotel in November 2023, in general, I left a positive impression of the hotel, I especially note the convenient transport location, the metro station is opposite the entrance to the hotel. I lived on the ground floor, the room had a balcony, the room was spacious and clean, cleaning was every day, there are no complaints about it, especially if you leave a tip, the only thing is that new towels were brought after 17.00. There are Russian-speaking employees at the reception. Now, according to the nuances: breakfast is not too varied, there is a queue in the hall in the morning, there are not enough tables, sometimes I had to go to another hall. Lunch and dinner are delicious. The Internet is not very fast, the video does not load, only photos. There is a swimming pool on the roof, but repairs are underway around it, relaxing with the sound of a drill under your ear is a so-so pleasure. For the same reason, the pool bars are closed. Now the staff, in general, the attitude is very attentive, but they squeezed a plate of fruit for my birthday as a compliment, although I warned the staff about others, hi Maryam, but these are the little things of life. It was not pleasant to go three times and demand a sheet with information about the transfer to the airport, which was at night. According to the agent of Anex tour, the information was transferred to the hotel after 18.00, I went from 20.00 to 22.00, all this time I was promised to find information and bring it to the room, and only when I started swearing at the reception at 22.00, explaining my impatience with the desire to sleep for several hours before the night flight (departure was in 02.40 am), then there were sheets of information.... Maybe it was an accident, but it wasn't pleasant. Overall, the impression of the hotel remained positive, but it does not pull 4 stars.
Rested from September 26 to October 3, 2023. The hotel is located in a convenient location, near the metro and within walking distance from the Emirate Mall.
However, as for the breakfasts, they were a bit monotonous, which could have been improved. Nevertheless, the convenience and accessibility of the hotel made our stay pleasant.
Another nice bonus was the opportunity to buy souvenirs directly to the hotel at good prices.
In general, this hotel provides a convenient and comfortable place to stay overnight in Dubai.
We liked everything. We were from 05.04 to 12.04.24.
We wrote about the rooms and the location to the metro. I will attach the transfer schedule (very inconvenient), we took the subway to the JBl Marina. The opening hours of the restaurant and the rest are also in the photo gallery.
The beds are incredibly comfortable. All soap and soap products are in abundance (razor, brush, gel, shampoo, cream, disposable bags, shower caps, soap, a set of threads with a needle).
The food is better than expected. All drinks in the morning. Lunch dinner is only water.
Nearby is a cheap Day to day store where you can buy souvenirs, dates. Brand for less store, buy sneakers.
I consider it an ideal location for those who travel by themselves, and not on excursions.
The gym is quite acceptable with a sauna. A swimming pool for adults, a shallow one for children and a Jacuzzi. Towels are provided. Bathrobes are also provided in the room.
the whole character is polite, always ready to help. the renovation is typically Arabic. despite the fact that they asked for a smoking room, they were given a room without a balcony. Well, the view from the window is straight from window to window. the renovation is typically Arabic, the stupid carpet in the room, the refrigerator is half alive. every day there is a mini cleaning and replenishment of soap and soap accessories (shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, razor, toothbrushes, cotton pads and more. the bathroom tiles are moldy.
we had only breakfast, if desired, lunch for 50 AED, a large selection, delicious pastries and watermelon. there is a choice for those with little teeth and those who like a heavier breakfast. fried eggs in front of you.
the location is not very good, it is far from the sea, it is far from walking. there is a shuttle service only to the Marina and outlet. there is a minimarket nearby, and Day tu day is a 15-minute walk away. The metro is closed, the nearest station is 12 minutes away.
There is a swimming pool on the roof, there are free towels and sun beds.
Overall, it's not bad.
A wonderful hotel for tourists who come to see the country, and not to live in a hotel. The breakfasts are monotonous, but there is everything you need. There are transfers to the beach. The subway is nearby. The supermarket is next door. On the upper floor there is a swimming pool, gym, sauna and hammam. There are a lot of rooms and there are queues at breakfast. Great respect for the opportunity to have dinner and for the candle in the birthday cake. Try not to move into the ground floor. The rooms are quite tired and in need of repair. Cleaning every day, slow, but good.
The hotel looks good, the location is also good, it takes a couple of minutes to walk to the metro, 10 minutes to the mall of the emirates, a transfer from the hotel to jbr beach is offered several times a day, but the bus does not always arrive from the beach to the hotel and at the reception they just shrug their shoulders and say to get either by metro or by taxi. Let's move on to the cons, we arrived a day later than the specified check-in date due to the postponement of the flight, the room was booked for three people with delivery of the 3rd bed to the room, upon checking into the room we did not see the 3rd bed and all the necessary funds, mugs, water, that is, everything was designed for 2 We asked the person to deliver the 3rd bed and it was delivered quickly enough, but with the rest of the necessary funds, we went to the reception and asked for them for about 2 days.
There is high humidity in the rooms, things are practically not sent out, but most likely because of the climate, the air conditioner works with varying success, most often cold air blows, despite the fact that the room is cool. One day the safe was simply blocked and could not be opened with our password, we had to call the master. Also, when checking in, we clarified about the breakfasts, we were offered breakfast for a fee, only after clarifying that our check-in day was yesterday and that it had already been paid, they apologized and invited us to have breakfast for free. We also needed an iron, went to the reception, we were told that they would deliver it now, after some time there was no iron and we had to go and ask 2 more times.
Most often, the staff pretended that we were not there, did not notice us, did not respond to our requests, only if they went several times and asked for it and insisted.
Excellent location - 200 meters from the metro. The food is normal. It's a bit monotonous, but you won't stay hungry, for sure! The room is decent, clean and comfortable enough. The service is good, the staff is very friendly.
I recommend this super hotel to everyone because there is a fitness room where you can get water for free and even a rooftop pool with a panorama can be seen even Burj Khalifa!
An amazing hotel
Polite staff
Delicious cuisine
You can safely take breakfast lunch and dinner
A separate lunch costs 50 AED
On the top floor there is a swimming pool and a heated Jacuzzi, which is very pleasant
When I first dipped my foot, I expected to feel the wild cold, which is usual for Turkey
But I was pleasantly surprised
Arrived at the hotel at 14.00, checked in only at 17.00!We spent 3 hours with a small child in the hall, Russian-speaking Maryan answered all questions in an extremely rude way!as a result, my child and I were moved into a smoking room, where everything is so smoky that it is impossible to breathe!!!after another disturbance, we got a room on the 6th floor!
The room is quite fresh and spacious, cleaning is daily, but there were no clean towels all the time, I had to beg for them and wait for 2 hours!
The location of the hotel is ideal-the metro is opposite, shops, a pharmacy are very close.A huge plus is that you can change dinner for lunch any day, which is very convenient! There was always a variety of food and desserts for lunch. There were a lot of people at breakfast and it was noisy, but there was also enough food for everyone.
Mall of the Emirates is a 15-minute walk with a child, there are many shops with affordable prices.
There is a very nice pool on the roof and sun beds, towels without deposit.
For those who do not plan to spend all their time at the hotel, the hotel is perfect!(except for our late check-in)
An average hotel. Big. Good breakfasts. Tired, unventilated rooms (nothing dries, even with the windows open). They did not respond to technical problems. Close to the subway and mall, otherwise so-so
A wonderful hotel!
The food is very tasty, varied, very much, there has never been such a thing that something was missing, they always brought something new.
The location is good, the metro is across the street, there are many cafes and supermarkets nearby.
Polite staff, there are Russian speakers. They will always prompt and help
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel
Great hotel, wonderful and very friendly staff, good service! The room was cleaned every day, and the cleaning was of high quality! I liked the food too, everything was delicious, every day at lunch and dinner there was meat, fish and chicken! We are very satisfied, we definitely recommend it!

Nice hotel, located in a good location. The food selection is small, but everything is fresh and delicious. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Dev Kumary, she was always friendly and ready to help
Nice hotel; pleasant, polite, courteous staff. Cleaning, rooms are at a good level, a couple of people at the reception know Russian. There is a rooftop pool, gym, sauna. The only drawback is a large number of guests at breakfast due to the majority of vouchers with breakfast only. The metro is a 5-minute walk away, near the shopping center, restaurants, shops. There is a restaurant in the hotel, a souvenir shop.
Good day!
I hope my review will help those who are going to fly to Dubai on vacation.
At first, I was upset that the tour had the wrong photos that were live, but then when I moved away a little, I realized that the hotel was not so bad, but we need to look at reality and now I will tell you about the pros and cons of the hotel
Among the advantages: a great location, where the metro is 2 minutes away, 15 minutes by metro to Burj Khalifa and also 15 minutes to Dubai Marina, as well as a 10-minute walk from the world's second largest shopping center EMIRATES MALL, a very cool place, I advise you to visit.
The room is clean, spacious and the staff is smiling
Of the cons: we arrived at 10 a.m., we were forced to wait until 2 o'clock to check in, we had to fall asleep in fai tired with flights, there was an unpleasant lady at the reception, she did not communicate very pleasantly, but everything is perfectly understood in Russian (by the way, there is a favorable exchange rate in the shopping center mentioned above), breakfast is too boring, not enough I can't say that it's delicious, but if you choose, it will do (you can't take anything with you, they immediately attack like dogs, even though they throw the rest away), well, in general, it seems to be normal, the store in the yard is not bad, but there is nothing special around, you need to get on the subway and go for adventures!
Have a good rest
The location is 10 out of 10, very helpful and attentive staff. The breakfasts are ordinary, but the coffee is delicious. The only negative is the smell of dampness in the room.
From 29.08 to 4.09. Many thanks to the Russian-speaking staff, especially Lana. We checked in immediately upon arrival. Check-out is late, we took 150 rubles in half a day. The hotel is a little tired, but repairs are underway. It doesn't hurt to rest. I think everything will be fine soon! The pool is the best. There was enough room for everyone. The transmission accessibility is great! Mashrek metro and bus stop are very close. I recommend it for a budget vacation.
This is the worst hotel I've ever been to.The staff is 0 , the cleanliness is 0 , the rooms are old, terrible , damp .
This hotel does not correspond to 4 stars, no more than 3 stars and the fact that the location of the hotel is good.
A big plus of the hotel is the location of the metro 100m, near cafes and restaurants, the bus takes you to the beach 3 times a day, everything is clearly on schedule , the nearest pier is about 1 km away . The breakfasts are good, the assortment does not change. The room is large and cozy, a little tired but not critical, cleaning every day. The pool is great, saves in the heat. The hotel deserves 4 stars, in principle all hotels in Dubai are good and try to match their stars. Have a good rest to everyone !!!
Last year we were at this hotel, we did not go for long, together with our son, so we chose it so that it was convenient to get to the sights, in this regard, the hotel is ideal - the metro is a 1-minute walk away...comfortable
The sea is about 15 minutes on foot, but the route is a little tricky, but the cleanest sea, near the Parus hotel, it can be reached by bus, 4 stops
I recommend the hotel
We checked into a large room for 4 people today , all sets are not complete for 2 people , the rest are as they want .. plates, forks , towels for 2 people , 4 cups)) There are no shopping malls , microwaves , ashtrays , bathrobes , or slippers ! There are no spoons , there is sugar )
