I really liked it, it's really great. The location is excellent, you can say that everything is there for leisure. But I can't help but write about nutrition...it is very monotonous. You probably won't stay hungry, but in my opinion, the level of nutrition does not correspond to the level of the boarding house. And I would also like the room to be cleaned more carefully, otherwise if you move the furniture away, you can find dust and traces of those who were before you. Everything else was great, thanks a lot to the staff.

1. The renovation is good, like in a 4-star hotel.
2. The sea is 75 meters away, without a large number of vacationers - undoubtedly a big plus.

5. Rooms are cleaned regularly. A separate star for the cleaner!
6. The presence of a hospital, trips to hydrogen sulfide baths, Charcot showers, massages, magnets, etc. is undoubtedly a big plus.
7. Powerful WiFi - I caught it even on the beach!
8. The availability of the transfer has pleasantly solved many issues.

Pros: air, sea, nature, a pool with warm water, the food is wonderful (especially in the small dining room). Recently renovated, we lived in a family building, the room is new, comfortable, beautiful. The transfer is included in the price. There are tables for table tennis, but you need to take your own rackets and balls (local ones are only suitable for children). It was not possible to fully evaluate the beach, at the beginning of May it is not yet the bathing season.
Cons: the TV in front of the pool is constantly working (and it is clearly audible in the family building). The disco! It's terrible, loud (in the family building it is very audible with the doors / windows completely closed), if there are dancers, then it works until 23:00, and they don't care that the children need to go to bed. The repertoire - what's on TV, what's at the disco - is terrible - modern Russian pop with stupid lyrics. I tried to give DJs my playlist of the 80s pop music, sometimes they included several songs from it, but not enough.

We had a vacation with my husband in mid-June 2024. We lived together in a single room. My husband was sleeping on an extra bed. place (armchair-bed). Thus, we saved money.The room is spacious, overlooking the lake, the playground and the neighboring sanatorium. We checked in only from 14.00. The transfer (free) from the railway station was perfect. After 1.5 hours we were already at the sanatorium. The border was passed quickly and without problems. The food is varied, there was always enough. The only thing that bothered me was the lack of a coffee machine, alas! Only instant coffee.Starting breakfast too late at 8.30 a.m. slightly limited us. We get up early. The large number of cats in front of the entrance to the dining room was a little annoying, I saw them a couple of times in the dining room itself. Children pet them, pensioners feed them. Seasonal fruits (strawberries, cherries, medlars) were practically absent in nutrition. We went to pick them up at the market in Pitsunda. I really liked the territory of the "Literary Fund" with a lot of greenery, trees, flowers (the edge of magnolias). We still remember walking along well-groomed alleys and along the endless beach. A nice and wide pebble beach (there is even a sandy strip in the middle). There are a lot of sun beds, there are enough for everyone. There are not enough of them standing only in the shade. But, you can put it under the pines yourself. Three peaceful dogs live on the beach. Vacationers feed them. There is a changing room, a shower and a toilet, a restaurant "At Mikhalych's". Catamaran rental, sap boards. We walked along the coastline to Cape Pitsunda (3 km) and in the opposite direction to the beach of the sanatorium "Boxwood grove". Leisure is organized on a "three" basis. There is a great cinema hall, sports grounds. In the evenings there are discos for children and adults by the pool. But, animators and presenters are very sluggish and not at all interested in organizing leisure activities. They need to be changed or taught professionalism. Otherwise, people will sit by the pool on sun beds and drink beer with wine after the procedures to disco music. Morning exercises on the beach are held regularly, but somehow away from the vacationers. There is no mass coverage. Aqua aerobics in a chlorinated and small pool in front of all the vacationers somehow did not impress. There is a gym, but it starts working at 9.00!!!?? I've already swum, done gymnastics in the morning, and the gym is closed. Cleaning for the "four", but daily. The services of the medical center were not used. By the way, a new medical center building is under construction there, but it does not bother vacationers. We liked the rest in the "Literary Fund". Nature, sea, climate, catamaran and paddle boarding accompanied by a flock of dolphins.... Impressed!!! But the fly in the ointment on the day of departure
... did not pass us by!😔😜 Something went wrong with the return transfer to the airport. We passed both borders calmly, but the driver and the car were not released due to the lack of one signature and turned back to Abkhazia. There was no transfer to another transport. We had to ask our border guards to let us out and take a taxi on our own at our own expense (this is how a free transfer turned out). It's good that we managed to catch the plane!😜

We lived in a junior suite. Not a bad room, after renovation. The bathroom is good, the room has a refrigerator, a cupboard, a kettle, a lot of different dishes. Buffet meals. In principle, everything is delicious, except for some cereals and sausages. A good pool, heated water, so we swam even in bad weather. The area is clean. The beach is large, there are many sun beds, the water in the sea is clean. The transfer is round-the-clock, everything is clear.

An excellent boarding house, supervised by Rosatom, which apparently invests enough money in it. 2 new small buildings, in addition to the main one, a heated swimming pool between them, a well-maintained territory, its own beach. Buffet meals without any restrictions and of good quality (the main thing is to control yourself and not overeat!)
This year we were very lucky with the animation guys who worked from morning to night, giving their best, and the children and adults were busy and did not remain without their attention. Thank you, Nikolai, Lesya, Alina and Allochka the lighter! The service is also not typical for Abkhazia: they gave out slippers and bathrobes, as in Turkey, towels and linen were changed often, the maid Lilya was as kind as possible, as well as all the staff. Of course, there were excursions too. And when we moved to the OP "Pitsunda" for 3 days for comparison, we saw such a striking difference, as if we had returned to the USSR in its worst years!

The literary Fund is a beautiful place to relax) with a large well-groomed territory. It's not the first time I've stayed here.. everything is changing for the better. The rooms are tastefully decorated, clean and cozy. Responsive and attentive staff! The food in the dining room is delicious, especially the buns)) and meat dishes! To taste the local cuisine, there is a cafe Patskha and a Grill house, beautiful and fast serving - delicious dishes. There is a spa center on site: a gym with excellent new Matrix simulators, a sauna, massage rooms, manicure and pedicure masters, and a hairdresser. Tennis fans will enjoy the tennis courts. I want to pay special attention to the library) a stylish place, with a good selection of books (for the first time I see a library in a boarding house by the sea). The beach is clean (pebbles and sand), a gorgeous sea, as an alternative to an outdoor pool. Magnolias.. Oleanders, beauty!!! The territory is guarded. There is a parking lot. During the week of rest at the Pension Litfond, I once again received positive emotions! I recommend you to visit - definitely❤️!

A wonderful hotel, we rested in 2023, lived in a small building (first in the "old", then in the new one, which, by the way, we liked better, because the rooms were overlooking the cottages, no one lived there, but the sea view is a little bit and the air from the trees is beautiful).the food is normal, there is a separate room for a small building, a slightly better assortment, but not critical.There are fewer people , of course .but the main dishes are the same .the food is canteen .There was a fish once, and it 's terrible .It 's just raw , in my opinion, but I was told that this is how it should be , I didn 't risk my health and I still have it on vacation .there is ping-pong, a library, a cinema is open every evening, they show whatever comes to hand, but also entertainment) mini-disco was observed for kids, after for adults (we were at the end of September, there was zero activity at these entertainments.in the season, perhaps more active).the sea is the best in Abkhazia, this is the coast, we watched dolphins every day, our beach is wide, pebbles (which in my opinion is more hygienic), the territory is large , well-groomed, there are stalls with local drinks,there is a steep cheburechnaya embankment,very tasty, no one was poisoned even once.The rooms in the small buildings are chic, clean, new, and the cleaning is excellent.we used massage services , I advise everyone .and now the most interesting thing)everything is gorgeous in this hotel , I would love to come back, but ! in 24 , they put such a price that it's easier to fly to Turkey for a good 5 or a good 4 , well , you have to somehow measure what you want with what is valid 🤦

As in Tunisia, for example, European architecture is inherently fused with the local "unobtrusive" Arab service, so throughout Abkhazia you will not be able to be in self-isolation! It is necessary to travel around Abkhazia and communicate with tourists, vacationers, employees and local residents - only in a friendly way, with a smile, without demanding anything of your own!
Beaches closer to the cape of the peninsula should also be explored! They're gorgeous! Pebbles means we swim in special shoes, which are sold everywhere! It is difficult and dangerous to get anywhere else from the hotel by bike in summer - there are no bike paths! (the territory near the hotel itself is large!) But since the middle of autumn, it is very comfortable to travel around Pitsunda by bike! The hotel has a regime and a comfortable schedule of training and "leisure"! We like a more varied diet, we often order a taxi and have dinner in the evening in the center of Pitsunda or in restaurants on the beach "Amshin", "Argo" with live music, ... The hotel organically takes you on great excursions and concerts! To the Cathedral for Organ music! The weather in Pitsunda is wonderful from April until almost the middle of October! We were a family at the hotel at the end of September 2023, we rented a 3-room junior suite in the family building. The room is not bad, but the 3rd room is more of a walk-through corridor, not a room. In the central room, everything is not bad, except for the bathroom, which had the smell of sewage. I was also upset by the incident upon check-in, we already took a long time to get there, since at first we spent an hour at the airport waiting for the rest of the transfer members to arrive, then we stopped at the railway station where we almost lost a lot, as the train was late, in general, together with customs, we got to the hotel for almost 4 hours and arrived at half past four in the evening. After receiving the keys, we came to the room, we thought we would just lie down on the beds and rest, and not here it was there, she was just cleaning up, she was not told that someone would be settled in the room, such a mess, I had to go for a walk instead of resting. The territory of the hotel is not bad for Abkhazia, it is not huge, but you can wander. The main thing is that there are paths all around and it's clean. The biggest incident of this hotel is the food, as many correctly write, at the level of the Soviet canteen, the tables are removed slowly, and the quality of food is three, we rested for 2 weeks, so after 5 days we periodically ate outside the hotel,
since the local food no longer aroused appetite, not far from the hotel, by the way, there is a cafe in the direction of the Boxwood Grove hotel and the roads, we often went there and took chebureks, very decent. In general, we took a trip here after reading the reviews, but there was no desire to return here anymore, the price tag is high and there is no service as such.

We had a rest in the Literary Fund from October 6 to October 12. We were very disappointed in our choice. The boarding house absolutely does not match the price and quality. Among the advantages, I can mention the edible food in the dining room, a well-equipped game room with a polite woman who always maintained cleanliness and a transparent beautiful sea.
Of the cons:
1. The main and main thing is the LACK of hot water and the reaction of the management to this issue. For the first few days there was no water at all and the director explained this by the accident of the pump, promised to relocate and every day they were fed breakfast. (By the way, we paid 78,000 for this room for 6 days for 2 adults and a 3-year-old child). They didn't move us, they said they fixed it, but in fact they reconnected the heating from the pool and, accordingly, every time the pool was heated, there was no water. And in October, it was heated almost all the time. It's terrible, we've talked about this problem many times. The child got sick, I also started having problems with my throat, and in general, when you pay such an amount, you want to have some basic needs.
2. Rotavirus is raging in the boarding house. The pharmacy buys everything from him, the guests confirm.
3. There are locals and people from other boarding houses on the territory. They just come in, use the pool and table tennis for free. They play billiards and because of this there is entertainment, but it is problematic to use them.
4. Disgusting animation program. Firstly, it is designed for children 5+, and secondly, often even adult children did not know about interactivity while the animators were sitting inside "waiting" for children. The children's disco starts at 20:30 and it's just turning on the music, the animators don't dance. There was one pirate party on the last day, which was fun.
5. The beach. There are many sun beds under canopies, but they are all broken and with huge cracks. It is impossible to lie down, it can also be replaced because they are all fixed with wire. Therefore, either lie under the sun or on spoiled ones.
6. The catering is terrible. Queues, chaos, delicious food is quickly running out. (But it's worth praising the kitchen guys, they very quickly clean the tables and bring the dishes and food. They almost run around the hall)
7. There are a lot of dogs and cats on the territory. I love animals, BUT cats with conjunctivitis sleeping in baby strollers, lichen dogs that walk in packs and sunbathe with you on the beach... it's too much.
It was the first time in Abkhazia and thanks to this boarding house, I think it will be the last. Somehow I don't want to go there anymore.

An ordinary housewife cooks better, but there is a cook. A huge number of dogs and cats with kittens and puppies are running around the territory. I haven't seen this anywhere else. The management does not allow them to be fed, but this does not reduce the number of animals. This is wildness. Not an indifferent person experiences constant anxiety, there is nothing to feed, what cannot be eaten in the dining room cannot be taken out. They could have sterilized it, but it's better to build a building. No humanity. The pines are almost dry, they don't smell, needles and branches are falling down. But the construction site is in full growth.

You will come in a little later, you will see empty pallets and tables littered with uneaten "food". I've never understood why people collect such a quantity of food that they can't eat. But in the case of the Literary Fund, most likely it is a feeling of hunger, persistent and the hope that this time it will be edible. Well done guys who work in the canteen. They give their all. As for the chefs and the people who are responsible for the quality of food, there is a separate question for them, which, by the way, we tried to ask them personally, but faced aggression and even rudeness. The only thing they understood from the conversation was that they don't eat it themselves!!! I will say just a few words about the pool. Everything would be great if people who don't even live in this hotel didn't occupy the sun beds in the morning. They come, throw their towels and stomp to their room for breakfast (at a nearby hotel), then go for a swim and go back to their room, and the sun beds are "reserved" in fact for the whole day

Great holiday home! The rooms are as comfortable as possible, the view from the windows is amazing! The sea is super! The beach is huge and clean enough. The territory is beautifully landscaped and well-developed sports infrastructure. I highly recommend it for a balanced holiday!

The boarding house is very good!!! There is EVERYTHING you need for any holiday! Comfortable, renovated rooms, delicious and varied meals in the dining room, I do not know what people who are dissatisfied with them are waiting for, here are the first and second, and cake, and buns, and fruits, and wine, and various drinks, a beautiful well-groomed territory with beautiful lanterns, a gorgeous beach, gym, table tennis tennis, billiards, bar, music in the evenings, programs for children, an abundance of excursions, doctors, some medicines can be given, healing relict pines, a good library!!!
But there are also disadvantages: firstly, poor-quality room cleaning, in particular on the third floor of the main building, and I would like more hygiene in the dining room, so that the staff makes sure that no one gropes or sniffs the food on the buffet and does not sneeze, cough on it or even force to put on masks during the meal set and gloves, because many people got infected with the virus in the dining room!
