Cascade in Yerevan is one of the most beautiful and iconic places in the city. This architectural complex impresses with its grandeur and magnificent views of the city, especially Mount Ararat. Climbing the wide stairs, you can enjoy a variety of interesting sculptures, fountains and green areas.
The Gafeschyan Art Center is located inside the Cascade, where modern art objects and unique expositions are presented. And at the top there is a stunning panorama of Yerevan, which is especially impressive at sunset.
This place is ideal for walks, photo shoots and relaxation. Cascade is a real pearl of the Armenian capital, which is definitely worth a visit! 🇦🇲✨
The most favorite place in Yerevan for both locals and visitors of the city. Open-air Museum of Modern Art. You can walk here, do yoga, run, and watch the sunset and sunrise. From the highest point there is a beautiful view of the city, Mount Ararat. There are many cafes and restaurants. There is an excalator, a public toilet. Events and many other things are often organized.
It's a great place! You can take the escalator through several zones, which is very convenient, especially for the elderly, with children and in the heat. In general, it is convenient for everyone. A perfect anticipatory pangram of Yerevan opens from the upper observation deck. This is probably the best place to admire Ararat (capricious Ararat is not always visible). I was lucky, I specially came to the observation deck on the day of departure to admire the wonderful view in sunny weather. There are many cafes downstairs where you can have a snack. Super, be sure to visit
The Cascade is a must-visit. It's a beautiful, interesting place. The terraces offer magnificent views of the city and the surrounding mountains. The Cascade itself has exhibition halls for contemporary art. There is an escalator that will help you climb to the highest terrace without much effort. And in front of the Cascade itself, on the square, there are sculptural compositions that can be taken away as a souvenir, in the form of original photographs.
It's a very cool place!
Available to everyone and for free.
It is quite high to climb, but the steps are very comfortable, there is no fatigue and knee pain.
There is a beautiful view of the city from above.
There is an excalator inside the Cascade, so you can go down or up it if you wish. And look at the objects of contemporary art located along the entire line.
Cascade is like a business card of Yerevan. The view from the top is amazing, and if you're lucky, you can see Ararat!
A great place to walk and relax, day or night.
You can climb the stairs, and there are quite a few 450-plus (sort of) I lost my way on the 350th step)
And you can use the escalator, there are many museums and exhibitions inside, and an interesting art space. If you will be in Yerevan, you will definitely visit.
And there are interesting sculptures in front of the cascade)
The Cascade has the most expensive sculptures in the world. On the way up, you can visit different sections of the museum inside the Cascade, there is a large mural and other exhibits. There are escalators for ascent and descent. From the top, you can walk to the Charles Aznavour Museum (on the left) and to the memorial stella. And also to the restaurant across the street, and if you have the strength, then to the park where the Motherland stands.
It's a great place. The beginning of its construction under the Great country of the USSR. A great complex to visit. There are magnificent views of Yerevan. There are many atmospheric places nearby. Where you can have a delicious time. I recommend it to everyone to visit.
A place of attraction for both visitors to the city and local residents. Definitely one of the most beautiful and favorite places in Yerevan. A must-visit. There are many cafes around, near the opera and ballet theater. Almost to the very top of the cascade, you can climb on the escalator, which is located inside.
