A small provincial airport 37 km from Nha Trang city. There are two terminals between which you can walk without using a taxi.
Delays are a common occurrence, sleeves are not used, there is a constant reconstruction of the runway and construction. The airport is relatively clean and well maintained, there are restrooms, toilets are sad.
The internal terminal is very dull, small, souvenir shops, one operating out of four business halls. If you want to have a snack or drink coffee, it's better to do it in the city. The inspection is formal, hand luggage is not weighed and dimensions are not checked.
The international terminal is a new building, clean, there are very few people, airport staff practically do not speak English. We can say that there are no Duty Free zones, there is a meager selection of cafes and restaurants. There are two business halls.
P.S. You can get from the airport by air-conditioned shuttle bus, number 18, until 19:55. The cost is 65,000 VND. Taxi – it is better to order through the GRAB or MAXIM app, the cost of a trip to Nha Trang is 270,000 - 350,000 VND. Do not listen to bombed taxi drivers who will assure you that the trip costs at least 500,000 VND. In Vietnam, the parking fee at the airport is paid by passengers, the cost is not more than 10,000 VND.

I was at the airport on 02/5/2024. We arrived at 8 a.m. in the morning. The airport was empty to the surprise of everyone, including mine. The staff was not in place from the word at all. People started queuing up to check their passports and after 5 minutes the staff began to come to their booths. Because I was in the front rows, the control was quick, then you go down to the 1st floor to get your luggage. Here we waited for 40 minutes for the luggage to start appearing. It feels like our flight was not expected, or we arrived earlier. Somewhere after boarding, we went outside with our suitcases, where a tour operator was waiting for us.

In general, the airport is like an airport. Spacious, clear, comfortable. Passport control is relatively fast. The exchange rate is lower in the exchangers than in the city or hotels. According to our compatriots, the duty free is also normal in terms of prices and assortment. Check-in at departure takes almost an hour and a half, because there were about 450 passengers on our flight who arrived at the airport almost simultaneously. Strictly overweight, but I did not see anyone paying extra, extra things were simply taken out of suitcases and put in hand luggage. During the inspection, you will have to take off your shoes, but no one will offer shoe covers, due to their complete absence. In addition to hand luggage, it is allowed to carry a fruit basket, given that 400 more baskets of mango and passion fruit will fly with you, try to get on the plane first, because there is not enough space on the shelves for everyone. Moreover, almost all the passengers interviewed by me claimed that in their hometowns the fruits mentioned above are on sale, but they are obliged to pin the basket for relatives so that they feel the difference between mango from Nachang and mango from Pyaterochka. There are small cafes in the dutifrey area with "coffee + sandwich = $12", but I went to Burger King for deep-fried chicken. A set with a hamburger, French fries, cola and ice cream costs about $18

I love Nha Trang, you boil moderately, calm long Coastal. But there are no beautiful Bounty beaches within walking distance. At the Cam Ranh (coast) Hotel, the sand on the beach is beautiful, but the hotels are far from Nha Trang and Cam Ranh itself.
