On the plus side, the staff is very friendly, and the location is in the very center. In other respects, the Soviet hotel is still absolutely shabby. It feels like repairs haven't been done in 50 years. First I came across a room with a dirty carpet and walls. Then the room is without lights. We checked into the third room, because we arrived in the dead of night, we no longer wanted to move. The sewer made a lot of noise at night, the room was stuffy. In the morning, of course, they escaped from there.

The rooms are very different, there are completely dead and dusty, the Internet catches only in the lobby, so it is impossible to combine rest with work. The rooms have frayed towels, there are no bathrobes. They were poisoned several times after breakfast. Dirty dishes at the entrance to the room on the floor stood for three days. Also, dirty old mattresses from the beds are stored in the corridor, adding "exotics". The menu in the restaurant on the 17th floor with a beautiful view is terrible. There are a lot of foreigners in the hotel, why are you not ashamed in front of them?

The feeling is frankly twofold and ambiguous. On the one hand, it is a very good location, if you settle on the reverse side of the facade, then in the morning you can see the Tien Shan mountains. Once it was a luxury hotel, the reception looks good, but the rooms.... Then they are patched and worn, then the air conditioner is noisy, then there is no hot water. But there are also well-preserved ones. If you're lucky. Of the disadvantages, if you ordered something in the room, then you know that the dishes will be taken away for about a day. The restaurant on the 17th floor has a gorgeous view, the windows are open, but the menu from the 90s needs to be updated (the menu has meat ministerial style, etc. for 10 pages, there are so many people who do not go there to keep such a menu). From the pleasant, perhaps the price, there is a round-the-clock exchange at the entrance, but not with a very good rate. The breakfasts are average, everything is there but without pleasure.

There was only one outlet in the room, and the balcony door hung on one hinge.
It is not clear how rooms are accepted after moving out. And there was no dental kit in the shower in our room, but there was one in the next room.
