The best hotel, the staff is very polite, friendly. We've been vacationing there for two years in a row. In the second year they will already find out))) the food is excellent, and in all adjacent restaurants. Fishing in the ocean, just super, I advise. We caught fish, took them to a restaurant across the street, and fried them for us. We were on safari, very cool, shows, food, skating. We were in Fujairah city in the shopping center, things are of high quality and cheaper than in the Dubai Mall. We were in Abu Dhabi, in a mosque, well, it's very cool to tears. There is a car museum across the street, I also advise you to go. There was a photo shoot, very cool. The photographer is a pro, knows his job, contacts with children (we have a 2-year-old son). In all the photos, he looks into the camera. Cool. You can save money on guides and catch a taxi cheaper outside the hotel and they will arrange an excursion and fishing and safari for you.

We had a rest in early October. Wonderful vacation! Wonderful hotel! Very friendly staff, sincerely interested in making guests feel comfortable, I take into account any wishes, immediately respond to comments! We had a rest in July 2023 , a vacation for 5 , for those who like to lie on the beach, for those who like to combine a beach holiday with shopping and exploring the surroundings is not suitable, there is nothing nearby, there is a museum of vintage cars, a small souvenir shop, a seafood restaurant and everything. The nearest town of Dibba is 15 kilometers away, they take you to Fujairah in a supermarket for free, but it's difficult to sign up, but you can always take a taxi, for example Dubai for 130-140 derham there and back, room service, clean towels, towels are changed every day. About the food we had everything included, monotonous, but they cook delicious, they didn't get bored for 7 days. We had a vacation in Rotan in July with my husband and we are in a hurry to share our impressions. It was our first time in the UAE, so we will not compare it with other hotels. I must say right away that from some comments I fall into a stupor, it feels like people writing negative reviews were vacationing in another hotel, not in Rotan🤔
Or I'm just a gentle person looking for only the positive in everything...
let's start with arrival and check-in.
1. Transfer. It's almost individual! We were met by a minibus, cool, comfortable, 2 families were traveling with us-my husband and I and a married couple with two children.An hour and a half flew by unnoticed.
2. The lobby. The lobby is mostly being renovated, so tourists are greeted in a temporary one. We arrived at night, we were quickly registered, by the way, there is a guy who speaks excellent Russian, so there were no problems with understanding. Then they were escorted to the room, the luggage was carried, and a hot dinner was brought-a huge burger and potatoes. What immediately caught my eye was kindness, cordiality and no hint of begging in the form of tips! And in the lauded Turkey and Egypt, this is already like the norm (( In general, I am ready to sing odes to the staff for competence,
unobtrusiveness, helpfulness, promptness. Example: they asked to bring ice for water on the road-they did not have time to reach the room-the order is on the spot. So it was with other requests.
Guys and girls are always friendly, with a smile on their face, they will definitely say hello and ask how you are, if everything is okay. This applies to all staff - at the reception, in the dining room, and in the bar. You guys are doing great! This is the first time I have met such an attitude.
3. The room. We lived in a two-storey building on the 1st floor. Everything was wonderful.It's quiet, cool, comfortable, though without a balcony, but they reassured us, saying that you don't have to worry about safety, theft is not observed here) By the way, yes! We calmly left bags with phones on the beach, everything was OK. The room is very nice and clean. Everything for a comfortable stay is here: starting with a hair dryer, iron, washing gadgets and ending with ear sticks and shoe cream) Gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, toothpaste with tweezers-everything is at your service.
There is a safe, refrigerator, ironing board. The furniture is solid, the plumbing is sparkling, the towels and bed linen are snow-white. And yet: what a pleasure to enter the building after the sweltering sticky heat! Just a separate kind of pleasure)
4. Cleaning. There is nothing to complain about. We cleaned every day, more often in the morning, we were early birds, got up, went to breakfast and ran to the beach. We came to a clean, cozy room. I don't know the names of the cleaners, I haven't seen them in person, but you are super good. Thank you for the cleanliness and always replenished stocks of coffee, tea and water!
5. Nutrition. Look, I understand everything, we are people with different incomes and living standards, but, in my opinion, some are so disconnected from real life that it's amazing... And they don't have enough squid, and oysters of the wrong quality, and lobsters are not enough. And it seems like there is fish, and beef, and chicken, and even edible soups (there was even a hodgepodge!), but still people lack something. I will answer for myself: yes, even if the assortment was not in such quantity as in Turkey or Egypt. But damn it, it's all very tasty and it looks like what we eat at home! And not a million varieties of Turkish soy sausages and sausages and an incomprehensible liquid called soup. Let there be two or three dishes, but delicious, which you will enjoy!Side dishes for every taste, pickles, sauces. The fruits were very different: green apples (very tasty), red ones, melons, though not quite ripe, there were plenty of watermelons, we ate enough! Pineapples, kiwis, grapefruits and oranges, of course, this will not surprise us) Salads, however, we did not take, it seems that they were molded from what we did not finish at the previous meal) The breakfasts are great-fried eggs, omelets, porridges, pancakes, everything that is close and understandable to our stomach. In general, many thanks to the chefs for their customer orientation! 🙏
Drinks of good quality, juices are not made from bags like Jupi, but quite tasty. Alcohol... We come to the conclusion with experience that it is quite possible to do without it. Yes, it's nice, of course, to dive into a bar after a hot beach and refresh yourself with a cocktail or beer, but overpaying for this option is not worth your money, really! The wine is tasteless, the beer seems to be good, canned, they open it and pour it right in front of you, but the bugger with the checks sometimes bothers. We came to the conclusion that it is better to take a boarding house instead of all inclusive, and take your own alcohol from home, of good quality.
6. Ocean and beach. This is the most important reason why it is worth coming here. In general, the Fujairah Emirate was recommended to us by a travel agent, because the water here does not warm up as much as in Dubai.I can imagine how the Persian Gulf is boiling in July! The ocean is amazing! However, the waves have moderated their ardor a little. They're huge here! The first day I swam, but the next two days I just stood on the shore and licked my lips, it was very scary. Then I got bolder and made up for lost time. But keep in mind: at this time of the year, such waves are the norm! Sometimes it twisted very much, tossed so that they flew head over heels to the shore! In general, the extreme was enough. This is not the gentle Red or Mediterranean Sea. The beach is great, the sun beds were always free, there were no problems. The sand is clean, the entrance to the water is excellent, the water is pleasant, you do not need to get used to it. Rescuers are very strict, always on the lookout for safety. The slightest violation-sailed into someone else's territory or over the buoys-whistle. Negligent parents were also watched - it is forbidden to enter the water with waves with a small child in their arms. There is a wild beach nearby, where you can take good photos. We also walked to the neighboring Meridian and the hotel behind it, found good photo locations.
Yes, I will add a small drop of tar to the barrel of honey: the pool! It is not (( Firstly, it is not very big, everyone is splashing in it: children and adults crowd into a small patch, noise, screams, screams, it is not pleasant. Secondly, it is warm, it does not save you from the heat in any way, the water is cool only in the morning and late at night. Request to the administration:At least somehow keep an eye on the temperature in the pool, splashing in a warm puddle is so much fun!
By excursus: we took only one to Dubai, I think that's enough. It's not worth your money, yes, we looked at this beauty, but we received practically no information, we ran around at all points as if stung and searched for ourselves where to see and what to photograph. It would be much more convenient to book an individual transfer and drive around all the sights yourself.The Sky View site was not impressed:it is closed, all the beauty is behind the glass, and it is unclear whether these are real objects behind the glass or a painting. On the street, the photo is much brighter, more realistic. There was an Ayia Museum, interesting, unusual. The photos turned out to be beautiful. Then there was Arab Venice and a yacht tour of Dubai in the evening. That's it.
P. S. Souvenirs, perfumes, sweets are better to take in the shop opposite the hotel, it is cheaper there and you can bargain. By the way, colorful photos turned out there against the background of mountains and buildings in the oriental style.
We were also sent to the airport in a small company in a passenger car. We stayed in coolness and comfort for an hour and a half.
To summarize: the hotel is very, very decent! The territory, although small, is cozy and green. The ocean is magnificent! All the employees left a great impression. The chefs are great! Dubai is luxurious, I think that we will continue to get acquainted with it. If there is an opportunity, we will come here again! Thank you all for a wonderful vacation!

A wonderful cozy hotel in Fujairah. We had a rest with the whole family with a small child. Excellent conditions! A varied diet. (according to the all-inclusive system). Friendly staff. We rested at the beginning of September 23.
This is an extraordinary place where it was possible to reboot.
1) Atmosphere. Calm, measured. There is no wild animation and round-the-clock loud music. In general, the music was only around the bar and until 19:00.
2) Security. It was possible to leave the bags and not worry about them. The guards work very tactfully. I saw how people who were not staying at the hotel were discovered and their pool territories were delicately removed. In the evening, several guards are on duty and control the passage from the neighboring "wild beach".
3) The staff was very pleased: friendly, attentive. there was not even a hint of conflicts, as it happens in countries that we will not mention. The room was cleaned every day, and if our children were sleeping, they calmly waited for them to wake up and returned after lunch.
4) I want to mention the children's club. The child was completely delighted.
5) I can't help but mention the pool staff. I really liked the attitude towards children, they reacted in a timely manner, they knew children who were not confident on the water and carefully transferred them to the shallow part of the pool (our child slipped away from us several times).
6) The food is varied. There are always several types of meat, vegetables, fruits available. Very decent coffee.
7) Sports grounds are available. Table tennis, tennis court. And yes, the tennis court is free, but in the evening you will need to pay for the light.

There is a shop across the street, a gas station, restaurants and an animation museum nearby. Ice cream for children every day from 16.00 to 17.00. Central lobby (reception) it is under repair, does not smell, does not make noise , but it is closed. The food is generally normal : fish, meat, shawarma . There is not enough baby food, this was an important fact for us. There are huge waves on the beach, it's unrealistic to go for a swim. Of the 12 days, 7 days we just look at the waves. Everyone, young and old, is crammed into the pool. Here the sun beds are probably occupied from 6 in the morning, by 9 you will not find anything free, the guys at the bar can not cope with the flow, but it is not critical. The cleaning is excellent, the towels are good, the bed linen is changed very white. The kids' club is good, there is a place for children to play. And on the street there is a playground and a club under the roof with different zones. The territory is green.. water is given on the bar in bottles.

The hotel is nice, but not great. In my opinion, the heel does not pull. Among the advantages: a cozy, beautiful reception with an excellent toilet with fragrant aromas, new plumbing and in the rooms, new furniture, excellent linen, a sufficient amount of water is given out, a lot of sun beds both by the pool and by the sea, a variety of pastries and cakes, a chic well-groomed green area, a clean beach.
When checking in, the disadvantages are - to use all inclusive only from 15-00. And sit at the reception and wait for the number. Water is free. The rest you want to buy, you want to drink water. They didn't even give me a welcome drink. We arrived on the morning flight and had to wait a long time. We were offered to leave our things and go swimming. But somehow we didn't like it. They settled the truth at 13-00. The number was given the one I asked for. (bungalow ground floor)
The pool is shallow at all. The kids just hang out, or drink drinks at the bar.
The local all-inclusive system is a separate song. It is open from 10 am to 10 pm. There is a list of cocktails that are included in it, the rest are for money. For example, there is no well-known and beloved Pina Colada, Aperol, Mojito, Margaritas in this list... and there is something that no one really likes. The price for money is about 800 rubles. Another situation with red wine: in a restaurant for dinner and lunch - excellent wine. But in a bar by the beach - a completely different, disgusting, from which heartburn began after the first two glasses.
Seafood is generally only available in a restaurant on the beach to order. The price of a large grill plate 340 dihrams (multiplied by 20)6800 rubles. Minus 30% discount for all-inclusive owners.
We never ordered. Opposite across the street is a great seafood restaurant - the cost of a huge portion for two is 100 dirhams.
I didn't like the food at all. Breakfast is more or less, because there are a lot of pastries, yoghurts, bandages. Dinner and lunch are a buffet of the Egypt/Turkey level. Everything is only stewed in different sauces, the meat is tough, the fish was tasteless almost all the days (mackerel stewed or fried), in a container with the inscription seafood in sauce - fish (again some kind of smelly) and 5 percent squid rings, lamb stewed - again one sauce and small pieces of meat, mostly fat. The grill (but not on the grill, but there in the restaurant on the stove) was once a week - chicken and once finally the fish is delicious.
Of course, they didn't stay hungry, but they didn't feel much pleasure from eating either. We were pleased only with a delicious variety of cakes like souffle (there were even mango-passion fruit) And fruit is generally a shame. Two, maximum three types were laid out: unripe watermelons, unripe kiwis, oranges, green bananas, salad of the same watermelons (sometimes you could find pieces of pineapple and "dragon hearts" in it) . Once a week they gave a chopped pineapple (sweet). There is a Mango plantation 15-20 km away. Why the hotel did not give local delicious fruits is a mystery. Even on the way from the airport, a asked to stop the car at the fruit market (the Friday market is called, it works every day) and bought two types of mangoes and mangosteen.
Of the minuses - no one warned about the invasion of jellyfish and that they sting a lot. I was stung very badly, and I was not alone on the beach. Then it turned out that periodically they come to the shore February-March, because they have a mating period. And just before our departure, the lifeguard somehow hung a purple flag on the beach.
The staff at the hotel are mostly Egyptians, Nepalese, Tajiks. I personally had the feeling that I was on vacation in Egypt. Only the sea without fish.
All marine entertainment - cost from $ 200 (parachute, banana riding, fishing per person, etc.), Massage in the SPA minimum price 45 min - 59 dollars.
In general, we had a good rest, but more in the UAE, especially I will not go to this hotel. For less money, you can have more fun at this time of year in Charm, and even more in Thailand

The food is delicious, the territory is neat and beautiful, the service is excellent, the sun beds are always available, the beach is sandy, the water is clear and warm without oil. The sound insulation between the rooms is 7 out of 10, oddly enough, you can hear the neighboring balcony, but not the room to which the balcony belongs.
The rest is spoiled by our tipsy compatriots who beg the bartenders at the bar for cocktails that are not included in the "all inclusive" ("What do you feel sorry for?!" etc.)
Previously, in all reviews, the hotel was also famous for the silence on the territory after 9 pm, but since November 2022, everything is no longer so. Now there is "live" music in the bar near the beach, so if you want to sleep, you will have to wait until 11 pm...
