After one of the shootings, I saw dust on the matrix. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to make an appointment to clean the matrix before the next shoot, so I decided to blow the dust off myself with a pear. When that didn't help, I decided to brush it gently (it was a bad idea). The matrix looked like it was scratched after all the manipulations. I called the studio where I usually cleaned the matrix, and they told me that they couldn't help me, and the matrix would have to be changed and it would be expensive.
In desperation, I tried calling Fotopro.by and it was the best solution. A nice girl answered me and said that I was very lucky that the master was in the office on his day off. After that, she handed the phone to Alexander, who calmly and clearly explained that there was a high probability that nothing terrible had happened. Just in case, he asked to take and send photos of the matrix. After receiving the photo, he wrote that he was waiting for the camera in the office for further action.
It took many times longer to get to the office than Alexander fixed my joint. Literally within 5 minutes, the matrix of my camera returned to its perfect state.
What I want to mention in a separate line: polite and pleasant staff, prompt response to a request, careful attitude to the client and individual approach, reasonable prices.
I can say with confidence that I will return both for cleaning the matrix and for renting equipment.
I wanted to rent a hard drive for a few days, I thought this company was engaged in providing a service in a similar field of activity, I called the number listed on the website, a girl answered the call and said that this company could rent an external drive.
When trying to arrange a lease, I was refused, when my friend and I tried to arrange the rental of a drive (worth 10p per day) for her document, the girl began to ask questions about her personal life (are you aware of the responsibility?Did you know that your friend tried to arrange a lease and was refused?, for what purposes do you need a storage device?🤦🏼♂️, etc., etc.), the actions of the landlords looked unprofessional, focused only on their personal desires and did not look like what is called a service that is focused on its customers who bring them money.
It seems that landlords are more interested in their personal desires than in providing comfortable communication systems for people to whom they declare themselves as those who can help them with this or that equipment, roughly speaking, it feels like you are in a diner or a canteen where you may be denied service unreasonably based on your personal beliefs.
What happened in the end, I asked why we were being asked personal questions, the answers to which, even if they were, would not have any legal force, we replied that their questions were meaningless and concerned only us personally, to which we were answered with a question (are you familiar with the rental rules on the website ? )
We replied no, we were told that the website contains information that the company may refuse to provide services without explaining the reason.
Instead of (as is customary in the modern civilized world) giving their buyers a document with a list of agreements and conditions in a two-way form so that the tenant could get acquainted with the full list of lease conditions, the landlords behaved like savages voicing meaningless questions that also do not concern the landlords.
As a result, the time was wasted without success for us.
But at least now we know that contacting this company can waste time.
Their competitors helped us solve the problem, which, unlike this company, simply silently provide high-quality service without stupid and empty questions.
I won't write which company we took the equipment from, but there are only a few on the market, good luck to everyone, I hope you will manage without such a sad experience and I hope the Fotopro administration will change its policy regarding what is called service, otherwise you will be doing so-so and the rest of the people will leave just like us interact with those companies that focus on the interests of those who bring them money and not on some personal fetish.
