We were at the restaurant on January 19, 2023. All the laudatory reviews about the restaurant are true. It was worth going to Gyumri for the sake of going to this restaurant. The restaurant is located in a gorge, in the ponds of which fish are bred. Clean, warm, cozy. Excellent staff. The grilled sturgeon caught with us turned out to be divinely delicious, and at a price like three burgers in a Moscow restaurant. The beer was not impressed. I really liked the citrus tea.

I celebrated my birthday here, I am happy with both the cuisine and the service. The freshly caught fish was immediately cooked - the almost half-hour wait for the barbecue was worth it. The prices are slightly higher than last year (we go there every time), but nothing is tolerable.

to all decent people who find themselves in Gyumri and have at least two hours of free time and a healthy appetite - be sure to visit! by minibus, taxi or on foot - visit this wonderful place and pay tribute to the idea and its implementation. live fish in streams and backwaters, tables above them, what would you choose between sturgeon, Sevan trout or rainbow, shish kebab from them or baked fish, apricot vodka or honey beer of your own production, or maybe delicious wine?! and finally they gave up, ordered everything at once, and for sure only by taxi, they left this magical place, offering words of gratitude to those who invented it, made it and now greets guests so cordially and hospitably that they would never have left if not for the plane))! I will be happy to come back here and recommend it to everyone! delicious and fresh fish in a beautiful place with excellent restaurant service!

5 stars because it is a famous place and because the Armenian Prime Minister dined here (they found out by chance and unsuccessfully tried to break through the really very friendly security). I would have taken off the star (but I didn't), because here is sturgeon, and I like sterlet more. The service is fast, even with so many people. I recommend visiting at least one of the most famous restaurants in Gyumri with more humane price tags than in Yerevan).

An excellent place! We came here with my wife and friends on a very high-quality recommendation. Upon arrival at the parking lot, attention is immediately captured by a picturesque stone staircase that leads down to the restaurant itself and a very beautifully decorated pond with sturgeons of different colors! It's a beautiful sight, and the photos are perfect.
We were sitting in the hall with a piano and it allowed us to eat food, which we will talk about later, while enjoying live music. The interior of the restaurant is also very suitable for the local flavor. In a word — bravo! Even before the order was made, there was a pleasant opinion about the place.
We didn't order very much, but the main thing is clearly according to the recommendations: sea buckthorn juice, sturgeon kebab (tandoor sterlet), potatoes fried in melted butter and rice with seafood. Since the juice was brought first, I'll tell you about it first — the perfect combination of flavors! A little sour, a little sweet and at the same time a little tart. Be sure to try it!
But of course the most important dish from our entire menu is a sturgeon kebab... Something that will never be forgotten. Now I'm going to compare any dish of white fish with what I've tried here... I'm afraid it will be difficult to find a tastier fish :) Not only in Armenia.
By the way, money is also very acceptable. In general, I highly recommend it to everyone! You will receive the same reviews as I write at the exit :)

Poor access road, pleasant environment, large number of seats . We took soups, vegetable salad, 1l compote and 2 types of baked fish, trout and sturgeon. There is a live fish swimming.

By far the best fish restaurant in Armenia, I am very glad that you did not miss it on your trip to Gyumri. It is necessary to book a table in advance, there may not be any empty seats. We tried sturgeon kebab, trout kebab, trout liver, trout kebab, baked potatoes fried in oil, local honey beer from our own brewery - everything is just perfect!

I decided to go to the best restaurant in the city. Let's leave out the prices in this place. I ordered a dish that should be a business card - trout soup. As a result, I received: potatoes cut in half in the state of al dente, a carrot wheel, a slice of lemon, two pieces of fish, greens. It was a special surprise to see a pickle in the ear. Apparently, the author's recipe. The potatoes were raw, the broth tasted bitter. When I tasted the fish, it turned out to be so bitter that it was impossible to eat it. The fact that the fish could be old is excluded, because it is grown here. The question remains, what is then fed to her... In general, it's not just not tasty - it's inedible. Jermuk was delicious - I add one point for it.
