The beauty of an excursion here may be that there is a guide who will tell you about each Buddha figure - why it is like this, what it means and where it is located.
We, in turn, arrived by taxi and had a pretty good look at what was happening on our own.
There is a long staircase leading to the Big Buddha, which should not frighten - despite the number of steps in it - it is easy to climb it, because the steps are very tiny.
Upstairs there is a wonderful observation deck on Pattaya, as well as "entertainment" for visitors based on various traditions and rituals. Somewhere, you can release a pigeon from its cage to "do a good deed and purify karma." The pigeon, of course, will return to its place in 15 minutes, but the good deed will be done. Somewhere, throw a coin into the navel of one of the statues - if you hit it, good luck and financial well-being will follow. Make an offering somewhere: put a candle in the shape of a flower on the water, put incense, write your wish on a piece of paper, and so on. You can watch other tourists to take a look - and what else can you do here?
In general, it's an interesting place to visit. The time required is 40 minutes, no more.
Just below the Buddha there is a small - let's call it - park, which looks more like an abandoned one - because there were absolutely no people there, everything was overgrown. It describes what happened here many years ago, how this place appeared, and who was involved. There are also monuments to Confucius and Lao Tzu. You can also take a walk and study using Google and a photo translator.
It is a very pleasant place, where peace, harmony and tranquility reign.
There is a beautiful staircase leading to the Buddha, but it is small, and it is not difficult to overcome it.
There is a magnificent view of the whole city from above.
If you live in Pattaya, you can get to these locations yourself by tuktuk, taxi or on foot. You should not take a guided tour. When leaving the complex, there is another location, the temple of the Buddha mother, usually guides do not take tourists here. And also on the other side of the big Buddha there is an observation deck for the whole city. And also around the big Buddha and the observation deck there are sports grounds and safe roads for those who are engaged in running or cycling.
On the plus side: we were in the morning, a beautiful panorama, no people, everything was done great.
Of the cons: it will be difficult to climb in the heat, the location on the mountain, prepare small things for offerings, but they are not required.
A very interesting temple complex, lots of statues, stunning views of Pattaya. We walked from the Koziy Beach Hotel

We posted the location data on our own. We took a taxi from the hotel in Wangomat district, and it cost 100 baht to get to the Buddha. Admission is free. At the beginning, there are several stalls with souvenirs, clothes and drinks, and ice cream. We brought tourists from India by bus, and there were a lot of them. We were with a small child (and a stroller), and we carried the stroller folded up the stairs (there are no ramps, as in all of Thailand). If you still have a child sitting in a stroller, it will be difficult to get in, even in some shopping centers.
Climbing up, you have a wonderful view of the whole of Pattaya, the entire coast is in full view - very beautiful.
Well, the majestic Buddha statue itself is striking in its beauty.
It is definitely worth visiting this attraction, but you need to go in the morning while the sun is not very hot. We arrived around 9:00 a.m. and it was already very hot.
A spectacular place, we always come here to tie SaiSin (monks on the left in front of the stairs), put coins sideways, tie a leaf on the tree of desire, ring the bells, try to get a coin in the navel of the Buddha.
A tourist destination, it's better to come in the middle of the week. We get there on our own either by taxi or on foot if we live on pratnamak.
The temple is located high on the mountain. We went up on foot, from Volkin Street. The journey took 30 minutes.
Before entering the complex, you need to cover your shoulders and knees. Skirts can be taken there, at the entrance.
The site itself offers a panoramic view of the city.
It was hard for me to get to him physically because of the heat, but it was worth it. I felt such peace upstairs, I'm not religious myself, but for some reason I felt good and calm there precisely because of the historical and semantic content, some kind of unusual vibe. The view from above is super!
Sorry Thais, but if you compare with Vietnam, everything is kind of a toy, as far as Buddhism is concerned. It's not bad, it's not good. It's just different. I got more hooked in Vietnam.
I don't want to offend anyone

Nice place right in the city center. You can visit popular places with a large number of package tourists, as well as take a walk nearby in quiet parks.
An interesting place for those who want to better understand the religion and culture of Buddhism. Free entrance, everything is clean and tidy. At the top there is a beautiful view of Pattaya
This hill with a monastery and a Large Buddha is so well hidden from the eyes, from the bustle of the city. It's just an oasis. Very strong energy, beautiful observation deck. We got here in the dark, but during the day, I'm sure you can see a lot more, in particular, the monastery.
The location is interesting for 15 minutes, take cash with you, make wishes for each statue for money, girls are given skirts at the bottom to hide their knees.
A beautiful place, I recommend a one-time visit, a good view from the observation deck, a beautiful well-maintained park nearby, you can buy various small things as souvenirs
The place is beautiful on the mountain, you can see beautiful views, Buddhist monuments and structures are located in different places!
I advise you to visit!
Why 4 because I was bitten by Thai wasps there, be careful not to turn off the hiking trail!

A must-see for everyone! Before visiting, find out your Buddha by the day of the week of your birth. On the left, in front of the stairs, you can make a non-material wish at the manakh (for a donation of 20 baht), you can get to the Buddha before 22-00, as soon as it gets dark, you will be alone with your Buddha there)
It's a nice place. Fortunately, the entrance here is free, and those who forgot about the dress code (ladies should have their shoulders and knees covered) will be offered a choice to cover themselves with authentic shawls. The benefit is free. You can light candles for a modest donation, present modest gifts to the Buddha and ask for the most intimate things. I have always been a little wary of religious buildings, but even my wife did not miss the opportunity to ask the Buddha for something known only to her. The complex stands in the center, therefore, having completed communication with subtle matters here, you can immediately join the turbulent "earthly" life of Pattaya.
It's beautiful, monumental. A wonderful observation deck with a wonderful view! But for those who love spiritual practices and are looking for places of power - not there! An absolutely commercial place

An interesting place. But of course you need to be in this topic. We just looked at it. There is a big Buddha. Then a few smaller ones depicting Buddha poses on the days of the week. And there are also various statues of Tolstoy, exhausted and other people. There are candles and lamps everywhere. Next to the Pattaya observation deck, cool views of Jomtien. There is also a table with different recesses, everyone throws coins there. And then they try to put them on an edge in the recesses. No one has explained the essence of this, maybe the wish will come true, but it's cool, a lot of people from different countries are busy with one thing, everyone is happy when it turns out. It's true, there is some kind of unity of different people and peoples here.
The most beautiful place. The Big Buddha is impressive. An observation deck with a view of the city. It's a bit hard to go downhill, but it's worth it. I recommend you to visit.
A Buddhist complex with a golden Buddha, various entertainment venues, and a market for goods. You can go to the monk, he will pray and put a white thread on your arm - protection! You can play with coins - you make a wish and try to install it on the edge in special slots. Sometimes it works.
An advertising and historical place. There is a cafe and a souvenir shop. Nice view of the sea and Jomtien. I need to check in for memories at least once.
Guys, a tip... If you make a wish when a monk ties a string for you, then be as careful as possible. A wish can come true,
but sometimes you may not like it.
You can go, of course, for the sake of a tick. Poor thing, the Buddha himself and the statues around him don't inspire at all. There is garbage on the slope below, although I don't know what prevents them from getting out. If you approach on foot, it is far and uphill. As a viewing platform, the norm is probably, but the place is so-so, unkempt, not atmospheric.
I was very impressed. Beautiful panorama of Pattaya. Dear vacationers, you need to go to the temple dressed: closed shoulders and legs. In the temple, you can worship different Buddhas on the days of the week, tie a string on a wish, receive a blessing.
