For the third time in Tashkent, I stay at the Ateka hotel, I eat in Angir, it's nearby. Everything is delicious, the prices are normal, the service is excellent, I recommend it!!!
Tasty, satisfying, moderately budget-friendly. They cook perfectly. The disadvantages are the slow staff and a lot of people who come there for lunch. You often have to wait and eat your stomach.
The service is lame, I ordered ready-made food but arrived late, although I went in at 11:00 (not so rush hour). The cashier addresses me as if I owe them something. I stood for 5 minutes to pay for food. If you are a fan of rudeness and expectant, then you like the place).
Very tender kebabs and meat dishes. I have never been to pilaf, because it ends quite early. The prices are low, the service is very good. I highly recommend it!
There is a very large dining room, at lunchtime there are a lot of people who come to pilaf. Honestly, pilaf for four, there are places where it tastes better
Anzhir belongs to the type of establishments that in Uzbekistan are called "milliy taomlar", which means "national dishes".
In general, milliy taomlar is such a common name for simple canteens and very expensive restaurants, the name itself simply emphasizes the emphasis on national cuisine. That is, in milli taomlar you can eat for 700,000 soums and 80,000 soums.
The important thing about milliy taomlar is that it will be almost 100% delicious and decent, but with an unforgettable Uzbek flavor. Therefore, if you are looking for a place to eat on a budget, but soundly, go to Yandex.Maps, 2GIS or maps.me type "milliy taomlar" into the search and then set your search criteria.
Specifically for "Angir".
It is located on a fairly busy Rustavelli Street. There are pretentious places nearby, but I purposefully went to Angir.
Interior decoration - see the photo. Decent, colorful, pleasant. Inside, everything is arranged according to the type of food court: there are small tables and for a large company.
I laughed at how the menu looks - a laminated A4 sheet, on which very small pictures of dishes are applied from 2 sides (you can hardly see what is there) and they brought it to me personally in Uzbek... The color, hee-hee.
but! The service (especially the speed) is great, although there are young boys and girls running around. Really fast. I didn't know what to choose and I was prompted pretty quickly.
Cheque. I gave a little more than 700 rubles for the first (shurpa), the second (pistols from the "lamb") and a vegetable set with some kind of fruit drink. It's fine in principle.
Payment by check at the checkout at the exit.
There is only one minus. I am very sensitive to latrines, their cleanliness, arrangement, and quality of repair. If anyone remembers the toilets in the army barracks, or Russian schools - yes, yes, this is it.
Dear friends from Uzbekistan who own milli taomlar "Angir", I wish you two things:
- try to serve dishes a little hotter (purely my taste)
- make normal toilets because this is always an indicator even for a not particularly sophisticated person and an indicator of some kind of internal culture.
In general, Angir is pleasant, tasty and beautiful. As an institution where you can eat every day, I can recommend it.
p.s. By the way, for ignorant tourists. You will not find a normal pilaf (a real one, which is prepared from early in the morning) by 13-14 o'clock almost anywhere else. Such are the habits of Uzbek brothers. I managed to eat pilaf in the evening only by pre-Order and in another institution (and there the average check is 4-5 times higher)
Bread is special
The service is very good
The dish is great

A great option to eat delicious food. A large selection of national dishes. Very fast service.
National catering.
There are a lot of tables. Lots of waiters. The menu is rich. The waiting time for the dishes is 10-15 minutes. There is a toilet. You can pay by card. Air conditioners are working
The place is cozy, the staff is responsive, recently expanded, now there are even more places. The only downside is that the food here is average, it used to taste better.

A nice and clean place. We ordered broth, Naryn, samsa, Beshbarmak, dumplings and salad. Everything was delicious. Budget-friendly and fast. We recommend it. We took Baklava with us, I also really liked it.
A teahouse with national cuisine. Prices are average in the city.
Delicious dishes.
We ate both the first and second courses.
Minus for the staff. Very long
service, although they are very intrusive at the entrance to the institution.
The waiters do not treat you professionally. we sat down on the table and the waiter brought the plates and put them so that it would be as uncomfortable as possible. he doesn 't speak clearly… If someone reads from the managers, you need to make the selection for waiters tougher!
I am very disappointed with the service and the attitude of the staff towards the guests. For the first time I have come across a "disregard" attitude towards guests in 30 years of work in the field of tourism, we have not had such a thing yet. We've seen enough of everything, but this is the first time we've seen such "disrespect".
It's a pity, the service is zero with delicious food.
Not a foot or a hand there anymore..
We don't send our tourists there anymore!
I visited the Anzhir restaurant in Tashkent and was very disappointed with my experience. From start to finish, my experience was bad.
The dishes were unattractive and tasteless. The service was also poor. The waiters were slow and inattentive, often not noticing our requests. We were waiting to order food and drinks, and when they finally arrived, they were incorrect or incomplete.
