Interesting restaurant, located on the first line, you can drive by car to the entrance. Hall + veranda with sea view. We like it here, we visit it often, mostly as for the local cuisine, everything is delicious, it's not a burger joint.... and service in Abkhazia is a problem everywhere,,, and it is better to book in advance. If someone wants to sit in the evening with a glass of wine and admire the sunset with a view of the sea - here you are.

It was very tasty for us, if we compare it with other cafes in the area, then it's really good here. We took a chicken chop with mashed potatoes (a large good portion, chicken chop on the floor of a large plate and a lot of meat), and a khachapuri boat (soft, hot, delicious cheese inside). Satisfied. The only thing is that the waiters are tired and not smiling, but this does not apply to food anymore.

The restaurant "Amshyn" (Pitsunda) was featured on the 1st channel of Russian TV in the program "Chefs on wheels" and received positive feedback from the chefs, so it was interesting for us to visit this restaurant and try dishes from its menu. To put it in a nutshell about the result of our visit: complete disappointment. The taste qualities of the dishes that we tried turned out to be at the level of ordinary cafes, of which there are a great many in Abkhazia. The serving of the dishes is simple and unpretentious. The service is fast enough and error-free, but without "unnecessary movements" (the waitress did not come up to us once again to ask if there was any need to bring / take away anything). Now about the dishes themselves. We also ordered those that the chefs tasted on TV: pumpkin soup with shrimp and flounder (well-cooked, but unremarkable – as everywhere else); in addition, we took risotto with seafood and okroshka on kefir (risotto in consistency - porridge, okroshka with a strange kefir – obviously not a restaurant the level and spices didn't fix it). There is no point in comparing the Amshyn restaurant with the level of the best restaurants in New Athos or Sukhum, because Amshyn is two levels lower in all respects.
There is no desire to return to the Amshyn restaurant again.

The restaurant has a good view, a beautiful interior, but uncomfortable chairs on the terrace. There are a lot of drinks and a varied menu, but the smoothie glasses are just disgusting and infuriate me with their appearance. Oh coffee, the coffee here is not bad, especially moccachino and cappuccino, but Raf cheese coffee is just disgusting!!!! Delicious risoto, good khachipuri. The toilet is quite good, there is a large cabin, there is no unpleasant smell, if you compare the toilet with Gagaripshinsky, then it is just wonderful. Overall, the restaurant is not bad,

We went to have dinner there in the evening, no one met us, did not accompany us to the place, we had to take the menu ourselves, the attitude of the staff is disgusting, the service with such prices suffers a lot, we are disappointed. Pasta for 750 rubles on the seashore with such service is just a waste of money. No one came up to us, so we got up and went to another place, where we were elegantly greeted and deliciously fed!

We went to this restaurant all week while we were vacationing in Pitsunda. I don't understand why many people write that the prices are too high. If you live in a big city, for example, in St. Petersburg and Moscow, then you will not find such prices anywhere except in canteens. A good restaurant, in terms of Gorgeous sea views, delicious cuisine. Prices are above the average in Abkhazia. If you expect to have dinner there, then it may be closed to the public due to some kind of banquet. If you have already sat down and some important Abkhazian guests have arrived, then all the waiters don't care about you at once. The waiting time for an order can be up to 40 minutes. I give 4 stars for the quality of service. I would put 5 in the kitchen, as well as the location and views. If you want to arrange a romantic dinner for your soulmate, then this place is perfect for this.

Having stopped in Pitsunda, we were looking for a place to eat and to make it cozy and pleasant to be, we drove through many places, it seemed the best, but... the waitress imposed a bully on her husband, they arrived home in 40 minutes, his temperature rose and the toilet did not let him go until the morning...Then we learned for the first time that you can't eat seafood and fish anywhere in Abkhazia. Otherwise, everything is fine, the portions are large, the coffee is delicious. If we are passing through again, we will stop by, but without fish, that's for sure!

I don't know where these reviews come from, the place is good only in terms of interior and location. The staff is unskilled. Kitchen for 3-. I ordered vats brought with bones, salad with vinegar, pizza margarita with some kind of Dechman cheese, the Abkhazian hodgepodge is the worst that we have tried in two weeks in Abkhazia, the prices are the highest in this place and this money is definitely not worth it.

It's worse than last year. They took caesar with chicken. The chicken was so overcooked that it didn't even chew. All the dishes that were taken - everyone liked them, there are no questions about them at all.
You have to catch the waiters and order and then run to pay off, or sit for 30 minutes and wait quietly, then decide for yourself how comfortable it is in the restaurant.

But why do you think 1 star? And I will answer: service (which, by the way, is indicated in the receipt, but is not indicated in the menu and there is also an addition about tips). Yes, there is simply no service there, to say that it is disgusting is to say nothing. It's terrible. It felt like we had invited ourselves to visit and it annoys everyone around, but we can't be kicked out, we're guests. At the end of the dinner, we still tried to turn a blind eye to everything and asked for the menu again to order dessert. And they even brought us a menu, but it didn't work out to make an additional order, we waited for the waitress for 40 minutes (this is with an empty hall, she just didn't notice us). As a result, when they deigned to pay attention to us and come up, we just asked for the bill. And to the question: "Why is it not indicated in the menu that 10% is charged for the service?" The waitress replied that all questions were for the management, but we no longer had the desire to stay in this wonderful place. We paid the bill and left. I can firmly say that I do not recommend this place. Rude staff can ruin even the most gorgeous evening. Life hack: Just take alcohol and food and spend the sunset on the beach.

The best restaurant in Pitsunda and one of the best places in Abkhazia. A good menu with a large selection. The grill is excellent!!! I recommend fresh cheese and flounder .
They cook tasty and fast, relatively. The staff is friendly and helpful. Cozy, beautiful, sincere and quiet.
The only drawback is there is no terminal.
