Generally it’s ok, but Go and learn in Russia Moscow, St. Petersburg- what is good service.
Even Finns themselves are very nice people, they are loosing quality in service, or it’s just Russians went on top, over the good ones?..🤔
It's a good airport. The net is large, duty free is not so much the cheapest, but occasionally there are good discounts. The catering is normal and there is a grocery store with a good salad bar. It works 24 hours. Finnaair has not only independent check-in, but also baggage check-in. You print out the sticker on the suitcase yourself, stick it on the handle and drag the suitcase to the tape. But there is a "help". Please note, the airport is designed so that it can be a very long walk to the gate, just 20 minutes. The train station with trains to the center of Helsinki is right there, no need to go outside or walk through long passages. Train to the center every half hour. 4.1 euro ABC zone ticket.
Over the past two years, it has become almost the main airport for me)) A calm, safe, well-equipped airport! The waiting rooms are very comfortable, there are different areas, both for children and those who even work on the road) The most impressive thing is the high–tech inspection, modern scanners, thanks to which you can now pass with any liquid up to 2 liters! There are only three of them in the world so far, and one of them is Vantaa! The geography of flights is not so big, which I like on the contrary, since there is no noise and hubbub and pandemonium of tourists! I recommend it!)
A top airport, of course I have not been to Moscow airports, they say even more, but this one... It's like a separate city. According to the store, everything is super. A huge plus is the seating area, sun beds, and saddles. Very comfortable
The technology of the airport is amazing...
Clean, beautiful, cozy, modern - it's all about Helsinki airport.
When we got off the plane, we immediately got to the food court with restrooms - perfect!
There are sofas everywhere, charging - this saved us a lot, since the transfer took more than 8 hours.
The price tag is higher than at the airports of Madrid and Paris, but we knew about it and were not afraid.
Hello to the Fins! :)
A small airport, quite convenient. There is even a rain shelter in the bus parking lot for long-distance travelers, which saved me a lot in a downpour. In the terminal at the exit from the clean zone there is a business lounge working on priority pass and American Express, as well as for money. It is enough to present a boarding pass for a perfect flight. While waiting for the bus, it is also very convenient. There is a shower, hot food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
The only disadvantage is that they don't pack a suitcase at the airport. They don't have film stations, they are fighting for the environment.
The best airport I've ever met! Silence, tranquility, warmth and comfort are so rare in such places! A very pleasant main hall with many places where you can relax, have a snack, drink coffee. Convenient control area, with quick inspection. A very comfortable scoreboard system indicating the gates. Clear location of the waiting areas with a sufficient number of seats. There are no problems with toilets, cleanliness and the availability of disinfectants are everywhere.
A well-organized air harbor, where you want to return!
A cozy and compact airport. One of my favorites. It is a very peaceful and peaceful place. There are many cafes on the 1st floor. Good transport links to Helsinki. Finnair City Bus-it takes about 30 minutes to drive, they go directly. There are also regular public buses No. 615, about 40 minutes on the way, and trains along the Helsinki-Vantaa ring road.
Convenient to get to. A modern terminal. Convenient check-in via a vending machine. Calm environment. Everywhere there are toilets, water, seats. There are many cafes with a good view. Of the minuses: the last budget gates are on the outskirts, very simple, there is no cafe, boarding the bus.
It's a good airport. Delicious food. There is a place to spend the night. However, you will have to pay a round sum for checking out of time. Gorgeous toilets. Birds are singing everywhere. But...As of January 2024, they were not allowed to enter Finland even if they had a visa. Only through a transfer, such as sanctions from autumn 2023. I decided with a suitcase for 2 hours to overload another airline. Because the border is accessible to a suitcase, but not to a Russian.
I was here on November 20, 2023, super airport!! Very clean, lots of cafes, there are shops. We descended from the ramp, but we were met by local border guards to check our documents). Before the trip to the city itself, a variety of transport is provided.Buses, trains, taxis. To get to the train,
you go down the excolator under the airport and you can get to the city. Prices for an ordinary Russian, very biting)). A lot of local workers speak Russian.
An amazing airport, very cozy, already like a home. There are many cafes and shops on the ground floor, including one grocery store around the clock. You can find a place to spend the night if you are waiting for a morning flight: many airports prohibit sleeping, make uncomfortable seats, tightly control so that you do not fall asleep and this is the real torture! Here everything is human: comfortable seats, charging, and most importantly, there are a lot of them.
A wonderful and very convenient airport. We flew to it from Spain with pleasure and left for St. Petersburg. Cozy cafes, various shops, delicious Finnish sweets. But there were evil forces that closed the checkpoint. Hopefully not for long...
nice, clean airport. pleasant decoration of the entire space, polite Finnish staff, very beautiful and pleasantly clean toilets. the waiting rooms are also perfectly clean, in general, I advise everyone to fly through this airport, buses to St. Petersburg run from the airport itself (7-8 hours), which is also very convenient.
An excellent and modern airport, a real European hub with the possibility of direct flights to a large number of destinations. Convenient location, close to several hotels, which are a couple of minutes on foot, large parking lots for cars - for those who need it, and even the bus station here is also convenient to use. Inside it is as clean as possible, shops and cafes, a metro station on the minus floor and everything is compactly and conveniently located. There is an automatic check-in and baggage check-in for the flight. I recommend it!
There is an Alepa grocery store on the territory of the airport, where you can buy inexpensive and warm up ready-made food, quite tasty. Salads, soups, second course.
There are also a lot of separate collection bins at the airport. But there is almost nowhere to sit, except for cafes.
I spent the night at this airport. Super comfortable chairs for long waits are not available, but everything is good. It's great that there is a railway platform at the bottom and you can quickly get to the city center.
Convenient, comfortable.
Terminals for check-in are a very convenient thing. And baggage drop-off. There is a consultant who will tell you and tell you all the details.
The waiting rooms are large and comfortable.
A large number of shops and cafes. The prices for the airport are quite good...high.
A large airport, modern. Everything is there . But the prices are atas ..however, as in many others..

One of the best airports in the world. The most beloved. I like everything: shops on the ground floor, long passages, waiting areas, and security scanners. Perfect. Not to mention the train to the train station in Helsinki, it's generally chic. The Moscow Express looks ridiculous in comparison. Buses run well too, you can get to the bus station. If we talk about Vantuu itself, then an ordinary small satellite town, like Kolpino near St. Petersburg. Nothing interesting. There is a large shopping center with "Prism" and "K-market".
An exceptionally comfortable oasis!
Each passenger will find a comfortable place and a cafe to suit their taste.
The opportunity to relax, relax before continuing the journey. Especially after a flight from Europe before a long trip to St. Petersburg.
A huge airport, but quite understandable navigation along the entire route. It is comfortable, clean, Wi-Fi works well, there is a shop on site where you can buy pastries and there are vending machines for making tea /coffee.
I love this airport, it's just fast and clear. The bus from St. Petersburg stops right at the entrance to the Airport. Everything is comfortable in the interior too.
The only thing that seems to me very expensive is the storage of the luggage.. But on the other hand, airport fares are always space.
A quiet and cozy airport. There are many points for a snack. There is a hotel and a parking lot for international and local buses opposite the terminal. It is sparsely populated and quiet.
I was very pleased with the opportunity to park my car inexpensively in the parking lot, I paid in advance with a card through the website, for 8 days - 77 €.
However, I took a parking ticket at the entrance and then there was a problem with the exit - if you booked a parking lot, the system will recognize the number itself and open the passage.
At the airport, I got confused with the Check-in, waited for the boarding announcement on the scoreboard, but I just needed to use the consultant's service and go to the departure area.
It was not possible to buy alcohol in duty free, because the prices are higher than in the shops of Paris, if you fly from the Eurozone outside its borders - the price is more or less reasonable, but it is very expensive.
There is no normal food, just sausages and sandwiches.
I liked the airport, all services work well except for food.
A convenient airport. There are comfortable places where you can take a nap. A variety of cafes and kiosks with ready-made food. Convenient transfer to intercity buses. The terminal is right on the square in front of the airport.
A good, now big airport.
There are enough information plates, the navigation is good.
The prices for food and drinks are very decent, but that's always been the case there.
For those who stay overnight in transit, there is a supermarket in the arrival hall.
A nice small cozy airport. On the ground floor there is a grocery store with a large assortment of all kinds of products, several different cafes, a Moomin Troll store.
A modern airport, many cafes, a place to lie down, spacious, clean, the staff will always help in both Finnish and English. There is a place for smokers.
A nice, cozy airport with a 24-hour supermarket with affordable prices . Coffee, tea, and sandwiches of various varieties and types. The Wi-Fi is great and the recreation areas are convenient!
It is comfortable, convenient, modern and most importantly as simple and understandable as possible . Have a nice trip and good luck to everyone. 🍀 And have a nice day
Everything is clean, High-tech, with snack prices, as in most European airports. By the way, I advise you to buy coffee in coffee machines for 2.5 euros (a large assortment), because in any tavern where you will be falsely smiling for 6-8 euros, you don't really want to.
Klondike, there are shops for every taste, Duty-free is cheaper than in Turkey, and they probably don't sell fakes here...clean, everything is thought out, safe.
An airport is an airport. Flights to all corners of the world, including East and West. The second main airport of St. Petersburg. The people of St. Petersburg know. I was there before... There are many parking lots for cars. Shopping malls and hotels are nearby. Everything is thought out. The only thing is that they give out luggage for a very long time. At least 40 minutes.
It's nice and cozy there. We got caught during a strike of airport employees, almost missed the plane, boarded it two minutes before the end of boarding. Stressed out like an adult. You can't do that with passengers. There was an alert, we arrived in advance, but there were a lot of passengers for inspection, the inspection was carried out on three racks. A terrible impression!
We flew Helsinki - Barcelona in August 2022. The airport is small, but everything is compact and convenient, not as expensive as in Moscow :) It was interesting to go on a flight for the first time without the participation of people to check in and send luggage - all by myself through the terminal! At first it was unclear and scary to make a mistake (the collective farmers themselves :)), but when they figured it out, it was really convenient and justified cheaper!
Everything closes early
The service in the cafe is slow(
But the general condition of the airport is very good, everything is clean and tidy) the staff is polite and always ready to help)
A beautiful modern airport. The navigation is quite clear. The only thing that took me a long time to figure out where the city trains to the city center are. Then I found it by the arrows)
It's not the first time I've flown from Helsinki to Spain! You can find places to stay for 4-5 hours, but if you are waiting for a flight for more than 4 hours, use the GLO Hotel or another nearby one. I liked GLO, but in 2023 the price increased by 2 times, so I found another hotel 10 minutes from the airport, booked a night in it for October, at a price of 100 €, I'll tell you about it later
What can I say... Everything is very cool! The first time I checked in and checked in my luggage myself, without the help of people at all. The computer does everything. The airport of the future. Purely perfect. Everything is by the clock, without delay.
The airport is simple, without frills, but very clear, clean and comfortable for visitors. Everywhere you can get drinking water for free, there are many places to charge phones, work with a laptop. In addition to the chairs, there are comfortable soft beds in the transit area.
